I absolutely love Vitamin Cottage natural grocers! They are a local store which does their very best to provide low cost organic and eco-friendly choices. Be sure to bring your own bags, as otherwise you will get a box, because they do not provide plastic bags. Noticed that all of their produce is organic, but not all of their other food. I have found the staff extremely helpful. Also, check out their book items

Can’t believe how consistently bad this store is. Love Natural Grocers at 78th-ish and Wads but this one is terrible. Never have what we are looking for. Some employees are nice, but others are def not. My wife called to see if they had some Guajillo Chili’s the other day and the guy just immediately said no, without even checking. I mean, I guess someone else might have just asked the same question but somehow I doubt it. Sad to say, something is definitely missing from this particular store. I am guessing management since the 80th VC/NG is great.

I love this store. They have so many healthy options and it’s not that expensive. I somehow always go to the same cashier and she is the nicest lady. She always makes my day and is very knowledgeable about the products I’m purchasing. I wish I caught her name.

This particular Natural Grocers does not hold up to any other natural grocers I have been too. I like to check out the restroom before shopping, it really gives you an idea on the level of pride the managers have. The restroom here is filthy and you can tell by looking at the walls that it has not had a good cleaning for a long time. Every item in the restroom is also broken. I have stopped in here many times just hoping it has improved. Every item I purchased the last time I was in the seal or container was broken. I didnt think to look at them, I was in a hurry. Fyi: I purchased essential oil, homeopathic pellets, veganaisse and cookies, all bad. The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because the employees are kind, friendly and just great. I only get there about once every 6 months, next time I will either go to a NG that is better kept or check it out and leave if not acceptable.

People are nice and they carry some items I cannot purchase at other grocers.

The store itself was fine. The bathroom was werent at all they were pretty gross. Also the cashier was really flustered when I paid her in cash and was desperately trying to figure out how to use some new bill validating device. All for one single item purchased. Not a horrible visit just very frustrating. Need to train the cashiers better.

They are consistently the same, with pleasant employees, fully stocked shelves, perfectly clean store. I hope they successfully maneuver thru this Covid season and remain available for our convenience. I appreciate them.

Larger store with great selection and really friendly staff. Parking is easy and I always find a little something unexpected and fun here. Its just a super pleasant shopping experience! Nice music & a large area to sit and have coffee or a snack. Also, the store, including the restroom (yay!) is sparkling clean. Highly recommend!

I am thankful that there is a store so close to my house that provides fresh and affordable organic produce. After shopping here I am always disappointed by the quality of fresh produce at conventional grocery stores. Not to mention the rest of the store is always rotating through killer promotions and sales. And they stock a TON of local products, promoting community growth. A Colorado native, we are lucky to have.

I have not visited a NGVC I did not greatly enjoy. All the employees at this location are happy, friendly, and exactly what youd want from your local health food store.

Every time I go to this store, it seems the employees all want to be somewhere else. And heaven forbid you ask them a question. But there is one shining star among the down trodden. I didnt get her name. She had dark hair, short, Mediterranean or hispanic, could not tell behind the cute southwestern mask. But she is a gem in customer service! Wish I had gotten your name, so kind and friendly! And walked me over to what I was looking for! Wow!But I am so disappointed in this store. I had forgotten my reading glasses. And I found some for sale on a display but no prices. I thought, they cant be too much... $20.49!!! Never again will I assume anything in this store! Thats outrageous! Shame on you guys price gauging like that, especially at this time in the world! Gotta make sure you get your bucks!

I tried to inform the head office, but couldn’t get through. Maybe you could pass this on. I have concerns about the plexiglass barriers. Their off to the side and don’t protect the checker or the customer. And the two aren’t socially distanced. I thought this was a quick fix. But it’s still not corrected.

I am a long time customer of Natural Grocers and never have encountered such poor customer service in any store (I visited many in different states) as I had the luck to experience in the Wheat Ridge store on Monday. 4/6/2020, morning. I understand that the store closes early to allow for the associates to disinfect, clean and RESTOCK . I was at the Wheat Ridge NG store about 9:30 am and the shelves where the eggs should be were barren but for one carton of broken eggs. Not a problem! I asked a female associate if the shipment came in and if there any eggs available. She peaked into the store room and then JEERED at me with glee: Yes, the eggs are in, but they will be restocked in about 2 hours.(!) TWO HOURS. No apology, no FU, nothing; just a smug grin on her face. I will NEVER shop in that location; and I usually do not say that lightly. I am familiar with the pressure the store employees are currently under, but lets face it, so is everybody. Since when this is an excuse for lack of respect and just a common human decency?

Friendly and helpful staff + a good variety of healthy and organic food. Cheese is pricey though.

I love Natural Grocers! In my opinion, they are the best natural foods store in the Denver area. They locally-source as much produce as possible. All produce is organic. All dairy and eggs come from free range operations. The staff is knowledgeable, and they offer free food and health classes.

Love this store! I can get just about anything we ever need here, and it’s so close to home. Produce and bulk departments are especially fabulous - such selection! Prices are competitive and quality is superior to larger chains. This store has become my favorite.

I highly recommend this store, they do not carry non-organic produce so you dont visit for an ad that was for non-organic foods just to get you in. Also, they have excellent help in their supplement department. Best eggs in town! With a membership to their club you pay several dollars less so I can buy top shelf eggs for $2.99ish.

I primarily go there for vitamins and supplements. One can find more than at Sprouts and with better prices.

Make sure you get your receipt because if the security person doesn’t see you paying he may think you didn’t pay for your stuff. I just walked out with my son and he stopped him because he through he didn’t pay after being in the line for 5 minutes. The security guy didn’t look like he was on his 5 senses.

I used to work in the produce department and the staff are fantastic, the produce manager Xavier is the nicest manager Ive ever worked with! I love the selection, and while prices can be (not always) higher than King Soopers, you know shopping here gets you the best stuff for you and your family. The heath and beauty section carries amazing body and face scrubs with activated charcoal that I swear by. Definitely check this location out, and meet some of the amazing staff.

March 2020. They have beer now. The entrance is glass so you can avoid walking into people by accident in these distancing times. I like all the natural grocers for organic produce. Their crunchy ground almond and peanut butters are also very good. This one is convenient for me and the staff is friendly. I will say that the Tennyson store is a little bigger and carries more variety.

This is a very nice Natural Grocers, and one that I often go to because they have a more realistic selection of food than the one in Golden which is where I live.The store is always clean and well-kept, and the staff is always friendly as with nearly every other Natural Grocers.The only issue that may show up is the fact that there is a lot of Beggars that hang out around that area, so much that they had to hire a security guard to keep watch of the store. I would be leery about parking around the back side of the building in the dark because your car might get broken into if you have valuables in there.

I enjoy shopping at natural grocers and you will too. It’s small, good products and smell great.

I love their grabngo section with its fresh meals. Their produce section is yummy and the prices are very reasonable. The people at Natural Grocers seem to be happier than those at Sprouts. More helpful and friendlier, too!

Stopped here to find collard greens for thanksgiving. It was very clean, friendly staff and reasonable prices for organic veggies. I was disappointed they did not sell charcoal but target was across the street.

Great prices on a lot of products, though the produce runs pretty high. Otherwise its very sanely priced. Staff are great, too. Friendly and knowlegable. I shop there at least once a week.

62nd Anniversary celebration was great! Lots of tasty samples, & root beer floats! The only thing I didnt like was the way the Natures Plus Ultra II vitamins I bought in May for $34.00, increased to $45.00 by today, 8/17.Im going to call Natural Grocers HQ to see if there is a pricing error.

This place is a joke 1 container of shampoo and1 bottle of oil (cod liver) 60-70$ weve had issues with this company before. Theyll burn down to the ground before growing as a successful business. Speak with your money and stop shopping here. No meat, seafood, deli and a little corner for rotten fruits and vegetables. But half the store is pills and placebos. Get out of my town Natural Grossers last time we shop at any of these stores. Its a sad day when Walmart beats the natural grocers.

Expensive, but worth it. Avoid the S. A. D. (Standard American Diet). Eat good, nutritious food. No chemicals, bleach, preservatives. And keep your pH high. (non acidic) thats the best thing you can do to avoid cancers. Cancer cannot exist in an alkalinic environment. Stop eating white, bleached sugar, and live!

I wouldnt normally write a review for a pretty standard grocery store, but I had the strangest experience here. Overall, the store is nice, although, the beauty being separated from the vitamins is unusual. They have a lot of great Colorado products which I liked and was unique.However, things went sideways when I got to the register. Shona S. must have been having a bad day, or took an instant dislike to me. She asked if I wanted my receipt, to which I answered the same answer I give every time asked the question, Only if it prints automatically. She GLARED at me and huffily said Its a yes or no question. Intimidated by the hostility, I said Yes. Her attitude was unwarranted, and I have never had such an angry reaction to my response. I said well, if it prints automatically, I want it, but if not, then no.. The guy behind me in line gave a gesture that meant he thought it was a good response. Shona refused to even say anything in response. Just an angry glare. I do not understand why shes working in a place like this.

Quite pricey, but a great, healthier alternative to the horrible King Soopers, Wal-Marts and Whole Foods...Im a bit worried they are growing too much and soon will join the ranks of the sellout, tacky corporate grocery stores chains. Gotta get it while the gettin is good!
