My son is on vacation in Montana and our Subaru overheated. He called the service department and they were able to schedule it on short notice. They found the issue and repaired it and he was back to his trip. Being a concerned parent in another state, I really appreciate the effort of the service staff. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for service.
I can’t say enough about the folks here. They were swamped and helped put me at ease and hep me prepare for a long cross-country trek after I hit a deer. Mike was especially kind and gracious with his time, as was Ryan. You are in good hands here! I wish my service options in Indiana were as stellar.

Extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism from this establishment. I was in contact with a salesman on Friday and reserved the vehicle to come view on Saturday, stayed in contact on Saturday. We drove up from Missoula just to find that they had sold the vehicle that morning. I was beyond myself to hear that, seeing as our salesman knew we were diving 2.5 hours and we didn’t receive a message notifying us that he sold it. I will not recommend this place to anyone!

Visiting this specific dealership on our way to Glacier NP made me realize how fortunate I am to have purchased my first Subaru!!! Wow!The customer service we received was 5-star. To add, Subaru is the most dog friendly car company I have encountered. The friendliness of the staff make you feel like a valued customer. Don K was able to save my flat tire (I had just purchased the car a few days prior in CDA, ID).Finally, shout out to all dealerships I’ve visited since making my first Subaru purchase. :) :)
My Dad bought a new truck here, his first in over 20 years, so we were extremely excited for him as he really deserved it! With this brand new truck, he was promised oil changes. He called multiple times to inquire as to getting the oil changed and was told to wait until it showed up/told him in the vehicle (and this being his first vehicle even having a computer to tell him this, he trusted them). However, when the notice finally came on in the vehicle and he called to schedule the oil change, the dealership said it was overdue and they would no longer honor the oil changes he was promised and supposed to receive. Please, please do not trust this dealership. To the dealership, please dont make promises and then make your own rules so you dont have to honor those promises. You took advantage of a very good, honest, hardworking person. Terrible customer service with yelling and rudeness like no other. Extremely disappointed and will never go back or recommend.

My daughter and I went into the Subaru dealership to get a look into the Forester vs. the Outback so that she could see which she preferred. This is her first time buying a car and she was excited and thought she wanted a subaru because her friend had an outback that she likes.The salesman we connected with was a challenge. He spent 20+ minutes showing my 19 year old how to look up cars on the internet (you know, because they are the LEAST tech savvy generation of all time), referred to a consumer survey as if it were based on some form of scientific evidence, called us girls in the MOST condescending way possible (I was raised in the south and have no issues or beef with being called a girl.....unless you seem to be doing it to illustrate what I dont know), and focused on engine placement and comparisons of a 2012 cheap car build with a 2021 premium (as if there wouldnt be obvious differences? Bless his heart.) And we left with never getting to see inside the two vehicles we came to see.We walked in pretty much prepared to purchase a Forester or Outback and walked out loathe to ever consider a Subaru even though they are excellent vehicles.This experience concerns me about the median intelligence level of car buyers in the Flathead if this kind of tactics works.Happily we went from there to look at other vehicles and she purchased a Toyota Rav4 SE after being listened to properly and actually informed with useful to her information.Part of me wants to believe that there were logical reasons for the mishandling of our inquest but the bottom line for me is this......How hard is it to open the doors of two different vehicles for a comparison?

Great!! I was there for an oil change. They got me in fairly quickly, went over the check up on my car and I was on my way. They have a nice area for you to wait. Everyone was courteous and helpful. A really great experience.

Was there assisting my elderly parents who were buying a good used vehicle. Dirk was an absolute professional helping them find exactly what they needed and worked with them to make sure all of their questions were answered. Even after the purchase he went through everything in the vehicle with them to make sure they knew how things worked and they had everything adjusted for their comfort and safety. The overall experience was wonderful and I wouldnt hesitate to go back or to recommend them to anyone!
I was dreading having my Subaru worked on. But.... We got there, and handed over our keys. Greg the shuttle driver came and asked if he could give us a ride while we waited. He took us to a local restaurant and said hed pick us up after we ate lunch. We called when we finished and he was there in 10 minutes. He was very friendly. When we got back to the Don K service dept we were told that our car could be repaired but we needed to leave it overnight. Jeremy let us have a brand new loaner car while ours was being repaired. He also was very friendly.I had no idea that service like this still existed. Way to go Don K!!!!

I have the pleasure of receiving the most outstanding service recovery at Don K Subaru. I had purchased a used Outback that started having mechanical issues. My husband spent a considerable amount of time working with Travis Squires, the dealership wanted to ensure our safety and overall satisfaction (our new best friend). The staff we met and talked with that also exemplified a genuine commitment to customer service were Mark Guest and AJ Juliano (wanted to make sure I was familiar with all features of newer vehicle we opted for). And the last employee we met with was Josh Gale, he paid special attention in respecting our time and budget as we discussed financing (who ever really ever enjoys this part???) and we still had time to chat about beer recommendations! I am an observant customer, very sensitive to attitudes. I sincerely appreciate the way I felt as a valued neighbor, new to Montana. I will most certainly return in future, after experiencing first rate, VIP service (even though we are just regular happy people).

Almost all of our experiences with Don K have been negative. I used to take my Subaru there to get the oil changed until one time I took it there with no problems got the oil changed and then some of the lights on the dashboard kept coming up and there were some fishy issues that werent ever there before. I took it to another mechanic who was able to fix the problems just fine and he also recommended that I never take my vehicle to Don K to be serviced. My wife had a Chevy Tahoe that was having some issues. she took it to Don K and they really took her for a ride financiall. in the end it seem to be back in normal working order but the bill was crazy for the amount of work that they did on it. It just seems to be an inherent conflict of interest to be both in the Sales and Repair business. we did test drive recently a newer Subaru which was great because there was no other place that we would have been able to test drive it but after crunching the numbers with the sales man it was clear that even through a leasing program we were being taken for if we decided to purchase from them. One of my good friends also used to work for Don K and he said this that if you see a car that seems like a great price thats because theres something wrong with that car and you should take that as a huge red flag.
