Lowes has been sold out of the smart siding for awhile now. Found both the 8in and the 12in wide siding here and good numbers in stock.

They have hardware. Have to use your own software, to assemble.

We came looking for a variety of things, screws for my wall mount, a shelf, a shower head, and several other items and they had them all. All at good prices. Its not as huge as other places like Sutherland but they have all the same stuff as a Menards or Home Depot.

Terrible customer service! My boyfriend just called and spoke with an employee, inquiring about a Dremel, made by DREMEL. The kid argued with him, stated that hes the actual store, not the website. Told my boyfriend that he didnt know what he was looking for, and thats not how this works All my boyfriend wanted, was to find out if this store had the Dremel he was looking for. The person he spoke to, just didnt want to apply himself, and go look. Get better employees, with better phone etiquette....

This is our go to place for our first home renovation. They might be overly friendly, but they answer any questions I have and point me in the right direction. I love the location, since Home Depot and Lowe’s are a 40 minute drive there and back! And I love that they cut wood for you!! Menards wouldn’t even cut a piece of plywood for us so we went to Sutherlands! We have small cars. They usually have everything we need.

Always a good choice for lumber, materials and tools. Priced around and overall you get a better deal for price and availability with these guys. Many projects have proven they get better overall results.

Nice little hardware store. Not as big as some others, but is a nice local store. Plenty of things inside to suit your needs.

Sad to see the plants are not taken care of they all look wilted with the price you sell them for I would think they would be more lively, garden area in general is a mess and to have to go search for someone to help is not something any customers should have to do.

The employees are friendly and helpful. Any time I needed assistance their employees have been a great help.

Try to return 1 ea. Piece of drywall with minor scratches (had purchased 5 pieces only needed 4) I was told it wasn’t returnable. I know it was a good piece of drywall and had to do more shopping. NEVER WILL I EVER GO BACK. I liked shopping there because of the convenience and the support for smaller businesses. But I’m going to do HOME DEPOT, LOWES OR MENARDS.

Its near the house and that makes it convenient. But the prices are much higher and it is always difficult to return items. They are always willing to help though so 4 stars it is.

Its decent. The employees arent the greatest at smiling. Lumber is dependable and the Richard brand is pretty good for home improvement tools. They have the basics and provides a good service for the north central area. I just wish I could go in and not walk out feeling grumpy.

This is a quiet, organized, helpful garden, lumber, paint etc store. We are glad to have it in our neighborhood. Plumbing, lawn equipment, tile and so much more!

We are not familiar with this store and couldnt find what we were looking for. I guess all employees were busy.

This store is convenient to me, and pretty well stocked, but IAM seldom impressed with the service.

I go here because it is close, but have stopped going because usually they dont have what I need anyway. Its a running joke at our house that Sutherlands will not have what we need so dont waste time on the stop. I agree with other reviewers. Employees are not friendly and that is if you can find one. Seem preoccupied with other busy work. I make the trip to ACE or go all the way to Lowes 9 times out of 10. I wish Sutherlands would step up their game as they are the closest to me.

Went in to get a price match on cypress mulch and before I could even utter the retailer I wanted them to match, the lady at customer service promptly told me ‘No, it’s not the same’. I asked her how she could possibly know what that when she didn’t even know the place I wanted to match to which she rattled off something about Lowes. Home Depot’s carries literally the EXACT same mulch, but it wasn’t worth pressing the issue. Sutherland’s is just the place I go when ACE doesn’t have an odd or end and I don’t want to drive 20 minutes to a decent big box.I actually don’t blame the lady, I would be apathetic if I worked for Sutherland’s too, the company is terrible - not just this store. Literally every Sutherland’s I’ve been to has made me realize that the only thing the company excels at is managing to occupy space that would be far better utilized by literally any other big box.Some of the employees are great, but most are just there wandering the dimly lit, low ceilinged, soulless expanse of Sutherland’s as they struggle to make it to the end of their shift - which brings me to the shopping experience itself.Between the terribly awkward lumber carts (which are about the only bulk goods carts you will find, unless you want to risk a knife fight for the one... ONE garden cart that I’m pretty sure is for the employees), cluttered shelves, and cheap knockoff products, I don’t know how they could make it much harder to be a consumer.In other words, I’m not a fan.

Good place for home improvements

They have lots of hardware and supplies but the service is just awful. Employees are not willing to help you even when you ask for help. I need directions on finding something in the store with no one realizing I was lost I asked two employees talking to each other at the front of the store and they were more interested in their conversation about trucks then to guide me, they pointed out a general direction where the item was and I spent 20 mins looking for it. Worth the extra 5 min drive to ACE Hardware they have all the same stuff and a great staff that is willing to show you the location of the product you are looking for.

They have a good selection for the size of the store. The prices are comparable to the big stores and the lumber seems to be of more consistent quality.

Good neighborhood store. Prices are better than Ace hardware. It is less busy than Lowes or Home Depot, and much closer for me, so I support this store to help keep it in business.

Its just ok. Couldnt find a pair of welpers (welding pliers) and i bought a soldering iron from them, of which they have one model to choose from, and it pretty much died within three hours of using it. Not a huge selection but every common tool or piece or part you need they have. Going into the aisles, good luck getting help from an employee. They are concentrated at the front around the registers.

Helpful staff good prices

All employees of this store have the personality of cardboard. Dry, no enthusiasm, never smile and don’t help. It’s as if a requirement to work there is to hate talking to people. It is a giant store with allot of items in there. But the over all vibe is terrible. One guy told my gf that they didn’t have gutter clips for xmas lights. and also added “ AND WE WONT BE GETTING ANY EITHER”. Bahh hum bug what a dick.

ALWAYS HAVE TO ASK AT LEAST TWICE TO GET SERVICE AT THE LAWN AND GARDEN GATE. I would love to say this is my favorite place because its convenient.

Poor customer service, slow check out, always or usually out of stock. If Lowes or Home Depot were closer I would not ever come back to this place. I only buy small purchases here or go to Ace, large purchases I go to the big stores because I know they will have what I need in stock. These issues have been going on at Sutherlands for the 20 years I have lived in this neighborhood I have no confidence anything will be changed.

I have had nothing but great experiences coming to Sutherlands in the Twin Lakes area. They are very helpful and they know their products while.
