Our wedding cake was wonderful. We had fun trying all the flavors. The 4 we picked tasted wonderful. I only had a few bites at the wedding and the cake was gone by the end of the night! We took our top tier on the honeymoon and ate the whole thing!!

I came in from out of town and ordered 2 round cakes for my daughter’s college graduation. The red velvet with chocolate chips was so delicious and moist. The strawberry gluten free cake was yummy as well. Would definitely order from there again when ever I’m there.

Our wedding cake exceeded all our expectations. It was beautiful and delicious (not dry at all) and it had really good flavor on all layers. It was amazing to see a drawing come to life. Im soo thankful! Vicki did an amazing job and we were truly happy!

We ordered my daughters 10th birthday cake there loved the fact that it was moist it tasted yummy! And it looked very pretty we ask for a photo cake with pretty cats of different color was not expecting the cute little cat paws crawling up the cake. I would totally send anyone there we usually do Walmart but never again they was just a few dollars more and just a way better product.

I was at Cameo cake to order a first birthday cake for my great grandson. We had a design picked out and Vicki added her own ideas so I am super excited to see the finished product.

Vicky did such an amazing job on my wedding cake! She was patient with us when we were deciding on the design for the cake. It was better than I ever thought it would be! I didn’t have to worry about one thing. The gentlemen who brought the cake to the venue made sure we didn’t place it on the cake stand we had purchased for it, since the cake would be to heavy and could fall. I appreciate him making sure we knew so our cake wouldn’t be ruined.Thanks

10/9/20Ive ordered from cameo cakes a couple times with no issue and today I was highly disappointed. In tears. We got 4 dozen cupcakes and the colors were wrong. Owner claims she spoke with me when we ordered but we spoke with a male. I sent pictures as well when we ordered. I called and explained... they said I could bring the cupcakes back to fix them. The birthday party started in 2 hours from when my husband picked up. We live in Haysville so a bit of a drive to go back again. I dont feel as if I the customer was taken care of. My daughters picked the colors to match their birthday party and we got soft pastel Easter colors. I paid for something I didnt want..Cameo Cakes 1.) You did not discuss with us in store anything about dark colors. You told me to send a picture and I did. 2.) Yes you offered to fix it but there should not have been anything to fix. Why would I drive ALL they way back when it should have been the way I wanted in the first place? Thats what I paid for. Both my daughters party started in 2 hours. I had multiple things in line to complete before the party. I paid for something I didnt order.

Weve been going to Cameo Cakes for well over 20+ years and they deliver when it comes to taste and design. We got them as children on birthdays and now we get them for our kids.

Cameo was the only place my wife and I felt we were treated like royalty when we got our wedding cake back in 2007. Since then, weve only gotten Cameo cakes for our special occasions. They make artistic and excellent tasting cakes with plenty of options. Highly recommended to give them a shot for your special days as well.

Delicious cakes. Great taste and very pretty. But Ive done two custom cakes - for a birthday and for an anniversary. Both ended up decorated somewhat differently than discussed (such as a blue cake with white accents ending up as a white with blue accents). Still recommended, but take pics of exactly what you want.

The sample cakes is frozen not fresh, so disappointed, the representative was a bit rude, I wouldnt suggest unless youre on a budget.

I have used Cameo Cakes several times, including our wedding. They are by far better tasting than most that we have tried. Each time that we have used them, they have given us their undivided attention to the details. Vickie is talented beyond words. Rick called to let me know that they close early on Saturdays, thank goodness that he told me, or we would have shown up hosting a surprise party without cake! Richie and I chose Cameo Cakes because its a family tradition from my side. EVERY event is always served with a Cameo Cake and we have never been disappointed. That being said, we chose Cameos to do our wedding cake. OMG was it gorgeous. They were so friendly in helping my vision come to life for a price that was affordable and we are in absolute awe. The day came and went so fast that I didnt have much of a moment to spend admiring it, but I just received photos back, and I teared up at how truly amazing of a job they did. Not to mention, they will remake the top tier of your cake in celebration of your one year anniversary for around $14! If you want fabulous work.......and deliciously phenomenal quality, choose cameo!

Rude! I purchased 2 of the small cakes in the case. When I asked if I could pay for them to write a name on ONE cake she acted rude like that wasn’t a service they offer in a cake store. I could have totally understood if they were busy but I was the only customer in there. I could tell she told the other girls in the back what a problem I was being by asking for a name. First and last time at Cameo Cakes.

I called WOW cakes on Tuesday asking for a My Little Pony cake for the upcoming Saturday but was disappointed from the call. I then called Cameo and Mandy took my order and Friday came and I just picked it up and very happy with the My Little Pony caked I requested. It has clouds and rainbows and sparkles. Our granddaughters wedding was last week. The cake was absolutely beautiful and each layer being a different flavor and all were very tasty. We will definitely use Cameo Cakes again. We found the people to be very helpful and professional each time we met with them.

Beautiful cake and yummy too. We just had our wedding March 12, 2011. The cake arrived on time and was set up for us. It was very beautifully and simply decorated which made it quite elegant. Our guests raved on the taste and even went back for seconds. We also got the cream cheese mints which were completely gone!!!! The ordering process was fairly simple and although at times it seemed a bit chaotic in there the price was right and I would not hesitate to use them again!

While looking for a company to make our wedding cake, we came across Cameo Cake and called to make an appointment to do a cake tasting. We were told to come any time and someone would help us. We showed up and were told someone would be with us. We were seated and showed where the cake books were. I dont know if the woman who came out was the cake decorator or the owner, both or maybe a vagrant off the streets, however we were treated as though we were impeding on her precious time. She asked what we were looking for and we told her we were needing a wedding cake and would like to do a cake tasting. She was slouching in her chair as she asked another girl to prepare the cake. She told us about some horses that she owns as we waited. During that conversation she actually used the F word!! When the samples arrived, we were astonished that we were given two flavors of cake to sample... Chocolate and traditional white wedding cake!! I asked about the other flavors and the colorful woman with the horses said they dont give samples of other flavors. We went ahead and sampled the two flavors they brought out. The flavor was flat and the cake had obviously been frozen thawed, then frozen again. On the up side it was moist. We left, ate lunch and then went to our appointment with WOW wedding cakes. (YES, they scheduled an appointment and then called us thirty minutes before time to remind us and make sure it was still a good time for us) We arrived at WOW and the woman there closed the office, ignored the phone and gave us her undivided attention. Needless to say, we went with WOW... By the way, we may have looked like we couldnt afford a big expensive cake, but Cameo cakes: never judge a book by its cover. WOW cakes got our business, repeat business and we will tell everyone about our two polar opposite experiences with Cameo Cakes and WOW cakes. Our wedding cake (FROM WOW cakes) was delicious, beautiful, exactly what we ordered, and delivered on time.

This place is awesome. Everyone here is friendly and easy to work with. I had difficulty contacting and getting consistent information from 3 other bakeries in town before I made my final decision to get my wedding cake here. They are consistently available and make their own buttercream frosting from scratch... Yum... I highly recommend them over anyone else in wichita.

We did our wedding cake here, didnt realize wed need to order so far in advance, when calling around some places wouldnt even consider it but Cameo said no problem. Re-ordering our Anniversary cake here this year in that same yummy flavor. Thank you Cameo!

I was so happy when I called Cameo Cakes the afternoon before my mothers birthday and was told they would be able to make a cake for me to pick up the next day. When I got there the owner helped me and the cake was just beautiful. They painted a lovely bluejay on the cake that would later remind my mother of her deceased father who loved bluejays. The cake was decorated beautifully and the inside was one layer of white and one of chocolate and they were so moist. Im sitting here on day 3 eating another piece that had been refrigerated and it is still just as tasty and moist as the first piece I had. I will be back!

My best friend used this vendor for her wedding. Yes, you only sample two flavors, but both are delicious, and its so nice to meet a butter cream frosting that isnt thick, sticky, and overpowering. The cake was gorgeous, delicious, and there were no hiccups.

I went off the reviews for this place.. which was good compared to others in town. I called up first and the lady I spoke to was kind and helpful giving me detail on pricing based on what I was wanting. I told her I was coming in and would work out the details. When I got there I was approached by a small lady with glasses in her 30s, that was very loud and almost offensive in her approach. She was helpful in greeting me and showing what books to look at, but when I started asking questions she spoke to me condescending and impatiently. I went off the pricing I was given over the phone by the size and description of what I wanted, which was about 28 bucks. She came back to see if I had picked something out and I told her yes, and described the design on the basic white cake I was looking for. She said let me price that for you and came back with a price up over 50 bucks. I explained that was too high and more than what I was hoping to spend and also more than I was quoted over the phone. She was immediately defensive and spoke alarming to me saying you were probably quoted just a base price.. and you just picked a design thats $3.50 a serving. *Listen I dont know what Im in here looking for and I expect the person helping me would get an idea of what I like and what I am wanting to spend and appropriately guide me.. or would even allow me to talk to the person I spoke to on the phone.. Instead of not guiding me at all and then speaking to me like Im an idiot for not understanding why the 6 round cake I picked out was 54.00. She went on to show me picture of cake designs at 1.60 a serving and the few she showed me I said No too, because I was not fond of the design and she looked right at me at one point after I said no to a particular design and said yeah, I am showing these too you.. so you can tell me what you like and dont like.. ok.. see. How about I just do something simple and wedding like and keep in the 30 range for you, would you like that? I raised my eyebrows and about walked out because of her tone! First of all Im a first time customer and I am about to pre pay 30 bucks for a tiny cake that you want me to agree too you doing what you want to it, to fit my budget and not show me any ideas on what it will look like?? I asked for examples and did finally agree to the scrolling design and paid for the cake. But this lady, no matter how fake nice she was, had a real attitude and a forceful loud condescending approach I did not appreciate whatsoever. Not sure I will return. Ill determine that on the look and taste of the cake, come Saturday.

We could not find a Batman vs Superman cake at a Dillons or Wal-Mart so we decided to try Cameo Cakes. The owner was super friendly and helpful and the cake turned out perfect! (It also didnt cost an arm and a leg) We will definitely use Cameo Cakes again!

I was very disappointed in my daughters 16th birthday cake. It was supposed to be the marauders map from Harry Potter. Not only did they leave a big stripe down the middle of the cake for who knows why the image on top was wrinkled and looked poor. When asked about it they said they could take it back and push it down? So crumpled and smooshed looked better?? I seen other poor reviews for them but one person I personally know thought they were OK so we went with them. I will not be ordering or recommending

I ordered my Nursing Graduation/Pinning cake from Cameo Cakes. We had previously used Cameo Cakes for my grandpas 80th birthday and new of the their good work. They did amazing work and it was delicous! It was on time for pick up and above and beyond what I had imagined. I will definitely be going back again when I need more cake! My nursing classmates who took Kaplan prep course enjoyed the left over from my party as well. Thanks Cameo Cakes!!!As to the rude person who said they did not pay attention to them. I think you are a liar. I came in WITHOUT notice and they were very busy with a wedding party and other walk ins and I had a decorators undivided attention. Time for you to grow up and be an adult and stop lying and pull your head out of WOW cakes owners rear end. I was told by everyone in this city I asked to never go to WOW cakes unless you wanted a horrible cake and a horrible experience.
