River City Sweet Shop did an amazing job on the Zebra cake and it was absolutely delicious. Im not a white cake fan, but this was so creamy and moist. Thanks for taking the challenge! You rocked it!

Absolutely the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had! We just received an order that was shipped out of state and it arrived fresh and in perfect condition. Great variety of sweets to choose from also. Their creations not only look amazing but taste amazing too!

I live in Texas and ordered cookies for my staff. They were decorated and packaged perfectly. We have many bakeries to choose from here, but these cookies are literally the best I have ever had. My staff devoured them.This has been a hectic and crazy year. Even with all of the craziness, I received excellent customer service, quality product, and timely delivery.I will definately order again, even after reading some of the negative reviews. You just cant please everyone.Great job RCSS! 5 stars !!

Unfortunately my company had ordered over $1000 worth of cookies to be taken out to our customers. When we went to pick them up they were not ready or boxed properly for delivery. The staff was rude when we explained we needed them in boxes of 12 not 500. After delaying the pick up an additional half hour to change the cookies into smaller boxes, they dropped the boxes while loading, breaking many of the cookies. I have been in customer service for 30 years and this was not good customer service. We have many other options in the area and we will never use this company again. Do not recommend.

Possibly the greatest cookie I have tried. I got an M&M and chocolate chip cookie. Nearly a chocolate coma worth of chocolate in one cookie. It was very soft but edges were crunchy to hold it together. I was in town from Lawrence and I my stop by again before I leave.

Pre-ordered their jumbo Cocoa to go go bombs in their famous sugar cookie and doubletree cookie flavor for our teenagers for Xmas eve. These have been hard to find so I suggest doing pre-orders

My husband ordered a special ordered a bacon peanut butter cake for me from here and it was pretty good.

I have called twice to place a cake order and left a message with with receptionist. This is day two. Receptionist stated the owner will call back. Two hours later I have not heard back. 😕

I cant recommend this place enough. Really, really excellent treats. Cupcakes, cookies, and more that are extremely well-presented and taste as good as they look. Kellie knows her stuff, and she and her partners are outstanding people, as well.

So I had originally gave a great review, but the last 3 times; they have been closed with no notice (F.B or even a note on the door!) I had to FB message to find out they had a big corporder and couldnt help, open or serve the everyday customer. There hours/days change often of when they will be open. Ive been in with no stock... I went in the other day and there was no cookies which they brag about. 4 types of cupcakes and a few cake pops. The owner said the cookies were to hard, but might be able to make some later if I wanted to come by later? (It was 1pm. You knew they were hard when you made them; why didnt you remake them then?) It seems they worry about more corp larger oders then walk-ins. I would suggest you might want to figure out to what audience you want to cater to?! Its sad, because the chocolate chip cookies are amazing, but I dont have time to work around your schedule, or come back when you can cater to everyday customers. Good luck!

Called from out of state. My son is station in Wichita with the Air Force. We couldnt spend Easter together and I needed to get an Easter basket to him. Ok i didnt need to but very much wanted my son to have a delicious surprise since he is away from home without family on Easter. I talked to Alex. He was amazing. I explained why I wanted to send the basket and how I very much wanted this basket to be delivered before Easter. It was just 2 days before when I called and Alex assured me that they could help. Not only did they deliver an absolutely BEAUTIFUL basket the day before Easter to my son, but all the contents inside were delicious and it just made his day. He loved it!! They even called to tell me it was delivered. Thank you so very much for your excellent customer service and helping this momma surprise her Airmen. Cant thank you enough. Stopped in at 10:15a . I really needed a dessert for a special dinner The case was completely empty. The poor girl was the only one there and had to fill a large order leaving her no time to fill the front case. She shouldve had help to do what needed to be done for walk in customers very disappointing

Just traveling through and stopped and got a wedding cake cupcake. Absolutely scrumptious! The most moist and light cupcake Ive had in years!

$35 for 24 cookies, literally the size of my pinky finger. Requested the number 1 cookies for my daughters birthday. Received rectangle cookies the size of a vanilla wafer. Would not have paid for them if my mother had not been the one to pick them up. Just ridiculous

Horrible experience. Would give zero stars if I could. Called from out of town to order a cake. They told me to send an email with picture and details, so I did. I called a week later after receiving no response and hey said they received my email and all was good. After not having a good feeling about it, I called two days before I needed the cake and they had no record of the email. finally after 20 min on the phone they found the order. Read it over the phone. Go today to pick it up and it is the wrong color with wrong age!!!!! I WILL receive a full refund or I will refute the charge on my credit card. Terrible, terrible way to do business.

I wish i could give a 0. The atmosphere is toxic, was waiting for service but left instead. It seemed like it was the owner or manager was yelling at the employees. I came because i was told, by a friend, who talked to a Jessica i think it was, that she had did an amazing job with her cake. Let me tell you i was impressed with the cake, but didnt want to get one at sweetly scrumptious because of the atmosphere. Note to Jessica, if you where their being yelled at, you dont deserve that with your talents. #youcandobetter

They are way overpriced for having simply average sweets. Don’t get me wrong they’re good but the price knocked them down by a long shot.

I placed an order based solely from pictures on their website and was disappointed with the presentation. The peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate looked gourmet online but the cookies I received looked like I made them. I order cheesecake bites that looked amazing online, but what I received were cheesecake bites in a cup. If an establishments has pictures on their website they should offer the same presentation to the customer. The food was good, but the website pictures are a misrepresentation of what was provided. It was disappointing.

I had ordered an 8 inch cake simple black and white with Vanilla. When I went to pick up the cake they didnt have it ready and they were running around looking everywhere as if they lost the order but they never advised me that they lost it so they said they would deliver it to my house. They delivered after closing hours and I wasnt home to see the disaster of a cake they brought. The cake was horribly designed they made the top look like a melted candle instead of a ganache drip and they gave us chocolate instead of vanilla, the birthday girl doesnt like chocolate cake so she didnt even eat any. It was a Saturday so I was unable to call them until Tuesday and the manager promised me $20 refund which wasnt even half and then the refund only came back as $16!

I placed an order on Saturday to be picked up on Wednesday. I paid for it and took my receipt. When I came in to pick up my order I had to wait with small children while the only employee had a long irrelevant conversation with what seemed to be a friend rather than a customer. When I finally got up to the counter I gave the guy my receipt and asked to pick up my order. THEY FORGOT TO MAKE IT! So they had me pick from the display that has been sitting out all day and they didnt have what I wanted so I picked what I could since I was picking them up for a birthday. They did not offer me a refund of any kind for their mistake, but gave me 4 extra cupcakes for free :/ Not pleased at all.

Went in for some cookies, but there were flies ALL over the inside of the cookie display case. A few were dead/dying, but at least 5 others I saw at one time were flying around inside there. When the employee came up, another large group of flies flew off from the front counter area where the cupcakes were at, unprotected. Took it down to 2 stars because the deserts are fantastic, but this place has GOT to get an exterminator in there to set up some fly baits. Appears to have been a problem for at least the past month or two talking to friends and coworkers that have been in there.

Cupcakes are flame and the cookies are very good too. Place looks very nice and everything tastes very good

They did a awesome job delivering when I needed it most. My sons 19th Birthday deliverying to our place of employment for a fun surprise!!!! Today another of my sons turns 16 and I am excited to do business with them again.

I called to schedule my daughters birthday party and the lady that answered the phone took my information and said that their scheduler was out and would be in the next day and she would give me a call. I never received a phone call the next day so I called again, and the girl that answered said the scheduler was out! I explained that someone was supposed to get back to me and she said she would call the lady and have her call me. I never received a phone call. I called a third time (only because my 6 yr old was really looking forward to having a cupcake party), again the scheduler was out so the girl asked me what date I wanted to have the party and I told her, she said that she was going to call the scheduler as soon as we hung up and have her call me right away, again NO phone call. I gave up and booked the party somewhere else. Today (4 days before the date I wanted to have the party) I get a phone call from a girl wanting to confirm my party details, I explained to her what had happened and that I booked the party some place else, and her response was okay well I was just told to give you a call to confirm not a single Im sorry I would give less than a one star if I could.

Hands down the best cookies in town!

Completely unorganized customer service. I placed an online order for a birthday. The day it was supposed to be delivered, I called to make sure it was. The lady couldnt tell me one way or the other. The gift recipient never got it. So far, Ive had to call three times to try and get a refund and get the run-around each time. Dont offer an online service if you cant keep up.

Went to pick up some cupcakes for a birthday. To be honest, I didnt place an order ahead of time as all I needed was a half dozen, so I just figured Id order from the store front. Got there 20mins before their scheduled opening time. They unlocked the door 7mins late only to tell me they had no cupcakes for sale unless they took some out of the freezer. I realize the 2 women were working on existing orders but the store front should be a priority as well.Great product but lacking on customer service.

We scheduled a cake testing for our wedding and the service was terribly unorganized. The person we scheduled an appointment with had something come up, did not bother to notify us, and did not even prepare pictures of wedding cake options to show us or cost estimates of wedding cake options. On top of this we were charged for the testing, something we had not been notified of in advance. This was a terrible experience.

I asked for casino theam cookies .. the diamonds looked like squares the clovers looked like butterflies and the chips were bad too! Never again most of them I threw away I was to embarrassed
