Jeff was incredible! You would have thought that he was installing the new garage door on his house instead of ours...thats how much attention to detail he had throughout the installation. A1 replaced our aging garage door, opener, tracks, springs, and all the accompanying doodads. The installing tech Jeff was very prompt and had the old system removed and our new garage door installed quickly. I was extremely impressed with A1 Garage Service. We couldn’t get our main garage door to open or close. The technician, Charles was very knowledgeable. He explained exactly what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. He and his helper did a thorough safety check of both our garage openers and found some worn out cables and parts on our 22 year old one. He explained what parts were needed, how much they cost and let me make the decision as to fixing it while they were there or waiting. I really appreciated his customer service attitude and feel he gave me excellent advice, but left the decision to me.Another feature of their service I especially appreciated was a text informing me that he was on his way and how long it would take for him to arrive. The text also sent a picture of Charles and told a little bit about him. That is real customer service! A1 Garage Service is a quality company and I recommend them highly.

Jeff, our installer, was very helpful, informative and thoughtful young man. He did a super and quick job of removal and install. Great customer service and workmanship! Just not happy with the cost. Not sure why the cost goes up significantly with each spring grade, other than they are charging for the warranty. Would have liked to see more competitive pricing. $670 just seems way too high for middle of the range spring replacement.

These people are a scam, 260 dollars for an inspection. I thought he was going to fix the problem. Instead he put the garage back on so it would shut and lock and not actually work. Then quoted us 2k for it to be fix. Then tried to up sale us a garage door. We later called someone else and they fixed the door for $75. We will never use this company again. Just horrible

This is one of the best investments. I can’t describe the peace of mind I have now that my garage door is functioning properly. Charles came out in 12 degree weather, did a full assessment, then took the time to re-explain his findings to my husband. He went above and beyond with the weather conditions and explaining why things needed done. Exceptional job. I have contacted 2 other companies, none compare. Hands down A1 has the ATeam working for them!! Knowledgeable, professional, went above and beyond my expectations.

Service and quality were great. I didn’t appreciate the multiple efforts to upsell me on products I didn’t need and I thought the prices were high for what was recommended. Quoted prices for replacing two springs was between $900-$340 depending on the quality of the spring and whether I let them replace the cables as well. I chose the entry level “2-year” spring and didn’t replace the cables. They tried to tell me my original installation of a bracket was not proper and made me sign a waiver declining an upgrade to the mounting. I’ve been using this garage door for 10 years with no problems. Next time I’ll probably get a couple estimates before choosing a provider. I can imagine that when people’s garage doors break it may feel like an emergency so they are susceptible to pay whatever it takes to get it fixed.

Excellent response time, communication and customer service from Justin on our garage door opener repair this afternoon. He was able to quickly troubleshoot our issue and correct it. He then went a step further by inspecting both our doors and openers to insure they were operating correctly and lubricated the rollers to improve the door’s function and reduce the noise. Very happy with the service and professionalism of the service team (Charles + 1). Garage door had spun cables on both mandrels. They were able to get the door working in short order and did a tune up on both doors. They sound much better now. My only criticism was on the amount of up-sells they tried. I know that garage doors periodically need new parts like springs and rollers but they hit me with a lot of replacement/upgrade offers which had a pretty high price tag, for doors that are only 4 years old.

The tech that came to look at our garage door did a thorough job inspecting it. We have been having problems off and on with it closing properly. He recommended replacing the springs and cables as well as some other minor things. Because of the price quoted, we decided to wait and not do the repairs. Felt some pressure from the tech to agree to the work when we werent ready to spend that much money. If you call them, be prepared for a push from them to get you to have the work done there and then. Happy with the service experience but uncomfortable with the pressure sales tactics.

A1 was called to replace the rollers on my 2 garage doors as they had never been replaced. The technician Charles installed the 20 rollers and inspected the doors for other issues.
