Wasnt busy at all got in and out pretty good . Cashier was friendly.

I came into this place looking for a part that I needed. I asked the busy cashier if she could call help for me. Instead of calling for some help. She asked me what did I need. I told her. Then she getting upset asked me, in front of customers, what exactly part did I need. Then asked me even ruder, what was the name of the part. Then answers very rudely that we dont carry that brand, in front of several of her customers. As a true person should have gotten me help, or ask me to wait til she was caught up. I would have been glad to wait. She could have sold me a brand new drill. Instead, I went to Lowes, and bought a brand new drill instead. I did tell her infront of her customers that she didnt have to be rude about it. She upset the customers also. I doubt that I will come back.

Very friendly and helpful. Some items I can only get here and some items I can only get at Ace. So I always end up going to both. The people here are more friendly though!

Great pricing on tools that can be git or miss. All N all, you get what you pay for but this place has some great tools at a great price. I dont suggest purchasing long term investment tools unless theyre cheap enough to use as use and toss per job. Many products are priced accordingly and Id prefer it that way. I purchased a 9 dollar pneumatic cut off wheel like 9 years ago and it still runs strong with typical air tool oil

Great place to shop for inexpensive tools. Covid put a damper on product availability. I brought an auger back after several months with a no start issue. They replaced it, no problem. Ive had a 10 inch Chicago miter saw for several years, no problems. I dont buy the battery power tools, so no comment on them. Great place to shop, and get ideas.

Pretty much a standard harbor freight. Staff wasnt bothersome and they had exactly what I was looking for

Tools are good for what yiu pay for them . I dont like the fact that the gasless wire for welder his the highest ive found.

Very reasonable prices and great sales! I’m glad they opened up a location on the east side. Store is very clean, organized and the staff is nice and eager to help. I always find tools I need for a competitive price. They do have a membership club that gives customers more deals if they’re regular tools shoppers.

They had what i was looking for but i think they may have been bought out by Walmart as there were 7 people in line and only one cashier. Lol! It went pretty quick. Cashier was on top of her game!

Went in for wagon wheels and they had them.. the employees are real nice and helpful

About the only good things that come out of the store are generators small engines and jacks.

I had buses amphi meter from Walmart and I didnt want to drive all the way back to Walmart to ask him how to put the batteries in it so I went to harbor and they wouldnt even look at me when I help me it kept saying its not my brand not my brand so thats the kind of people you want helping you I would never go there and its overpriced anyway

This is a dream for a man just starting a new job that requires yet again more tools you dont have money for, well heres your answer bro,I love harbor freight, you cannot beat those prices, and their selection has gotten quite interesting now offering a higher end quality then what the carried a few years ago.

Not good I had a return they talked me into getting something they said was better. It wasnt so I returned it to and had a 2 yr warranty also .they would not give me my cash back so I got a credit card to use in their store and lost the money I paid for the warranty. Very disappointed customer now

The Supervisor, Jennifer (?) very kindly chipped in when I was getting fire things for homeless people living out in the cold by Walmart. Thank you. Supposed to get down to 28 degrees so I know they were/are glad to have a hatchet, etc for fallen limbs to burn. Much warmer w wood larger than kindling.

The store was kind of dirty looking and feeling. There seemed to be quite a few employees but no one around to ask for help. I ended up waiting in line to ask where the item I needed was located. The gal was really nice and pointed me in the right direction but I spent a fair amount of time chasing employees that seemed to disappear into the back and standing in line twice, once to ask for help and again to check out. There seemed to be quite a few patrons waiting for help. Other than that I finally found my item, took the last three, paid and left.

Meeeeeeh. Understaffed, messy, what staff is there I think they might have just hired whoever had the most convincing cardboard panhandling sign as they look and smell like it. Staff here wouldnt know a torque wrench from a torque converter. If youre wondering, yes it is absolutely worth the drive to the other location in East Wichita.

They were so helpful. I wanted an item that they didnt have any stock left on the shelf. They had someone from the back bring one up to the registers without giving me any trouble at all. I was very impressed by their politeness and that they would do that for me when I was just buying one 30 dollar item.

I would give it a 3.5, right between a 3 and a 4. The store and location is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. My issue is a corporate issue. They carry a lot of cheap quality at not very cheap prices. There are still some good deals.

They got at least 5 people walking around but usually only one register and people always are waiting in line

Harbour freight is a good place to save money on a lot of items example HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES GOOD GENERIC BRANDS that last a good while less than half the price of name brand. Lots of tools and much more its worth the stop to shop.

They have a wide variety of tools at low cost. Durability is hit or miss with some items. You will get your moneys worth out of most of the tools.

Cheap tools and corded drills like to burn up fairly quickly. Like one time use. Hand tools and the more expensive power tools seem to be good and durable. Recently bought an angle grinder. After using it Ill update my review on how good it works

Love the concept of harbor freight tools cheap prices makes things affordable I couldnt buy regularly. The customer service is a joke employees are either rude or just flat pretend you dont exist. They never have anything in stock ever whats the point of a store location if Im told to purchase online. Also I have to pay shipping then because they cant do their job and keep things in stock.

They have struggled maintaining stock through the epidemic, and staff is obviously stressed. They are doing what the can do but a little more positivity from staff even in stressful times would be appreciated.

They have a wide variety of things to choose from and dont forget to sign up with them to get coupons sent to your email or in your regular mail in order to get a 20% off your purchase each visit and other discount coupons for specials they have. I like the FREE item coupon they have I cut out as it changes from time to time offering a small flashlight, tape measure, batteries, screwdriver, microfiber towels and the list goes on and on.

Great tool place. Theyve got just about everything you need to get the job done. Theres no paint or plaster or stains.. But theyve got table Saws, work benches. There always friendly and willing to help & not just for the man of the house women too.

The one big reason that I go into Harbor freight is because of the discounts that they have a 20% Coupon I bought thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of tools there I’m not gonna be going there anymore with their new coupon system you’re not saving anything you might as well just buy it online.

Melissa is super funny and knows her job well. I bought 6 piece ratchet set, 3 piece swivel set, 7 piece standard stub ratchet set, and 66 piece Quinn socket set and she above her job to save me money. Also the tools are life time warranty. Great experience. I had a broken Pittsburgh rachet that they never have in stock so the guy swapped me out for a different one and was able to get a set of sockets as well and even got money back. Very pleasant experience.

Clearly not the highest quality tools in the world but very affordable and good enough to come with a lifetime, free replacement warranty and - at least at my end of the food chain - thats as good as it gets.The staff at the Wichita store are always courteous, usually friendly and sometimes even quite helpful. That is if the store isnt packed full of customers which it frequently is.Any time Ive needed a covered tool replaced, I get it. Simple as that. Lets be honest, if your here, youre not looking for Snap On quality, your looking too pay half the price for good enough. There are some tools Id never touch but there are some Id swear by. Either way, the employees are usually very helpful. Occasionally theyre out of something Im looking for.
