BEST UPS ship center in Wichita...hands down!!!Super friendly and helpful. The owner here and staff are the best of the best. Ive been going here for many years and I enjoy every visit; theyre awesome and knowledgeable.Any negative reviews for this place...honestly are b/c those customers just dont understand the shipping industry, or dont like UPS policies.That is no fault of the UPS store owners! They are subject to UPS policies and prices. All UPS stores are owned by local members of your community...please treat them as such.
Even though I was next and had something very fast to take care of he took more people ahead of me. The other guy seemed nice though.
I have been trying to send documents to my brother who is overseas. And staff went over and beyond to try to help me. They try to see if they could scan the document. But their best suggestion was send it off and I ended up having to do that because it had a special seal. The staff ther care about packages or whatever youre trying to make copies of.
SCAMMERS! Corporate complaint filed!They charged $130 to send a laptop 2-day Air and waited 24 hours to send it which caused a delay. When I asked for the partial refund corporate UPS told me I was owed the owner if this store (acting as the manager) asked me to lie and claim damage in order for him to refund me $5.21 -Keep the $5.21 and I will not lie for you and allow you to file a damage claim on a $1400 laptop!Corporate created a case and BBB has been contacted along with the franchisee department.Most people don’t realize these small stores are NOT an actual UPS as they are owned by any individual and are considered a third party shipper so spend 5 more minutes and drive to the actual honest UPS facility for cheaper rates, no scammers, no rude service and protected honest shipments!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS STORE!
Total scam. They want you to pay $2 for them to print THEIR OWN SHIPPING LABEL. Why do I need to pay just to print the label when I’m already using their service? Scam.
Ive never had rude service before today. Ive never dealt with the clerk I had today. She didnt care if the receivers last name was on the box, she didnt put the receivers apartment number on even though I told her and showed her the address...and she was training a new guy.
Service is absolutely terrible. No one seems to be trained except maybe the manager, who seems to be doing it all. I sent my Online Print order (just prints, nothing fancy) and called the store to which they struggled to find the order. Once found, they said it was printing in the next minute. Ok, I’ll be there soon. Show up 15 mins later and am asked if I have anywhere else I can run, well No.... I’m here per our very recent conversation, and they let me stand there for 15-20 mins, without a time estimate, not a hey come back later.... when I finally asked for a time estimate, I’m told they don’t know.So I left, extremely frustrated that obviously my time isn’t respected. I’ll be back later, unless I decide to cancel.Receive a phone call because they wanted to clarify I wanted to keep my order. To which I said yes, as this is the closest and most convenient place to print (I’ve printed here for years now). So I have to ask again how long will this take?! Probably 1 hour. Why is this particular print order taking so long?? They’re busy. But I saw most my order already.This will be the LAST TIME I choose to print at this location. The last order I printed, I had asked for a laminated print (same size order and lamination took) and that took far less time, to which I had to go back when I found my laminated print was not laminated. And had to return. That laminated print wasn’t even laminated correctly and is separating.Please do a better job of Customer Service and training your employees.Best of luck.
Yesterday 6/14/2021 I brought in a package to be sent out. When it was my turn I approached the counter to ask the young lady about next day shipping, she informed me that they could get the package sent as next day. However, the person receiving the package was sent a copy of the receipt with the tracking number and informed me that the package would be delivered Friday instead of next day like I was told. When I spoke with the manager/ store owner about my frustration he was no help and offered no solutions to the situation. He then tried to place the blame on me and mentioned that the information is clear for the customers. If its clear for the customers then why did the employee give the wrong information? Now there is a loss that Im taking because my package will not be there on time. So thank you for no help and I will not be returning to this location ever again.

Giving one star, as no stars will not allow a written review. I had a UPS package to return as an Amazon Prime recipient. Took to this store. I was told I had to take it to Kohls in Derby, as they also have a UPS station inside their store. Took to Kohls to be told it needed to go to a UPS storefront location. I then took it to the UPS storefront in Derby. The Derby UPS store was able to accept it, but needed to be scanned a couple more times in order for the package to be accepted. I figured it was a software issue. When I called back to the E Central location to speak to the manager and owner, he was very curt and had an attitude that it wasnt his problem and had absolutely no intention to investigate further so he wouldnt send more customers all over Sedgwick County trying to return an Amazon package. Too bad! Ill never go back.
The staff was very friendly with me. I understand the current situation where everyone needs to return stuff to retailors due to unable to shop in store. Be patient with the staff as they can be busy.Overall, this is now my go to UPS for my shipping needs.
I was told I couldn’t open a P.O. Box for my business I’m starting?! Yet the location on north rock rd. said it wouldn’t be a problem, I don’t know if I was turned away because of incompetence or laziness but it’s annoying!

Lines are frustrating anywhere you go. Customer service is what sets great stores apart from average.A month or so ago I accidentally included a piece of sentimental jewelry with an amazon return; a pendant I intended to remove from a chain that was too small.Anyways, the folks at the UPS store on East Central went above and beyond the call of duty. They looked high and low to no avail. The employee then advised me on the appropriate steps to take with amazon and the amazon vendor; giving me tracking information, the return reference information, and where it would likely be in the process. I got it back!
Owner is a horrible person. Extreme lack of knowledge regarding international shipments. How can you work at UPS and not know that some countries don’t have zip codes, and that streets are worded differently. Complete lack of experience and knowledge. It was overall an unpleasant experience, he had a very condescending demeanor from the very begging. Arrogant and disrespectful. When asked if someone else can help me, possibly with more experience with international shipping, he got upset and said he is the owner and asked to leave the store. People who can’t take critical feedback will never improve or learn from mistakes. No customer care. If he had treated me with little respect, pleasantly, I would have being patient with his lack of experience. What a disappointment.
Really great customer service, I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Melody and Jessica were really helpful when I had serious questions about my shipping. Really recommend this store over the others!

I hate that when I called to pick up items for my dads funeral .I was transferred to another country..i couldnt talk to the store here in Kansas. I was so irritated.
Friendly owners and staff. Color copying for me is tricky, but they really help me out. Also help me determine best packing and shipping. Really appreciate these folks.
No signs requiring masks, and the employee had his mask on his chin the entire time. Really disappointing because I used to think highly of this place.
Jacob is the MAN. We got there right before closing and Jacob helped us ship two items and print a bunch of stuff in like 7 minutes and it was waaaay too easy. Professional and friendly. Love it when people take pride in what they do.
They were so nice and helpful! I didnt catch the mans name but he helped me repack my boyfriends books the right way! Very fast and knowledgeable.

UPS says there are notary services here, but when I went there early one afternoon needing to have something notarized, no notary was available for the rest of the day. The staffer just shrugged her shoulders about it. Items can be packaged and shipped here reliably.
I had a horrible experience at this location. I was not pleased with the speed in which they responded to me when I visited the location. I also was called after I left the store and asked to pay fourty dollars to repackage my item because the box that I used was deemed to be unacceptable after I paid for it and they accepted it. I returned to the location and gave the manager an opportunity to correct their mistake. Unfortunately she could not find a way to correct their issue to my satisfaction. Horrible customer service. I asked for a refund and took my package to FedEx to package and ship it for a lower price overall. I will never pay to have anything shipped through UPS again.

Shipping supplies are sorta expensive. Cheaper to buy tape and a box at Dollar General or Walmart. But really impressed with Customer Care

Attempted to drop off a package for delivery with $1,500 worth of insurance and they wouldt take it because they wont let us take anything with more than $1,000 worth of insurance, and was told that they wish they could as they would like to have the revenue but they arent allowed.I was told Id have to take it to the Hub on South West Street. When I delivered the package to the Hub and asked about this rule they told me that the stores CAN take packages with that much insurance but that they dont want to since, on a pre-paid label like the one I had, they make very little money and dont want to risk that much on such a low profit level transaction.Ill stick to FedEx as much as I can from here on out.
