Its a hardware store AND a hobby shop!!! If I lived closer my bank account would be in trouble! Very nice and helpful staff, and a great little local treasure. They have a seriously impressive amount of on-hand RC kits and accessories. Cars, planes, boats and more. Im not a train guy, but if you want it, Id bet they have that in stock, too. Its worth the trip!

Walters Hardware is a excellent store to get your merchandise from hobbies and other important items that you might need and I will be shopping for other items i will need and very polite employees that work there and they will help you if you need their help.

Ive been to Walters a number of times now, and never come away disappointed. I am primarily in for rc truck parts, but they have basically everything youd need for most every home improvement project or hobby. The staff are super friendly, always ready to help you find what you are looking for or recommend the part(s) you need based on what youre up to. Plenty of hobby things to, including g planes, trains and all sorts of rc trucks. Prices are the best Ive found around, including online for everything Ive bought. Highly recommend this place!

I and a few members of my family were shopping I was asking questions about fixing a well problem in a snobby voice a mean little man said we dont know anything about well water systems when I asked about a multi washer kit because I didnt know which one I needed, I was asked to leave the store in a very rude manor. I didnt understand why my money wasnt good enough until I overheard a staff member say we dont need their sort here anyways scares away good people I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

It is difficult for me to rate a place so poorly. This spot earned it. Do they have some niche hobby/hardware? Sure. They also have an atmosphere of misogyny that is so obnoxious that they wouldnt even acknowledge the female with me. She was completely ignored, the salesperson wouldnt even look at the piece she was trying to replace. It goes without saying but they dont deserve your money or your business.

This place is awesome. They have rc cars and trucks with parts. Model airplanes of multiple sizes and parts motors to go along with it, plus a great equipped hardware store at the same time. friendly people, good service. I recommend them for sure.

The first time I went there the older taller guy was a lot of help with my rc car I needed a lot of parts, the second time today I went there needing parts again and alot of them so I let a lot of customers a head of me, but when the smaller older guy helped me this time he seemed extremely impatient, especially that I needed two different gears, he said something under his breath as he walked away so I grab my rc car and walked out drove 1 1/2 for parts, and to a place were they actually like there job and treat people like they want to purchase something from there establishment, this really grinded my gears.

Place got everything for your hobbies from littlest to the biggest things. Awesome customer service, I have no complaints at all, keeps me happy though these harsh times, eveeytime I go there it is best customer service I ever experienced. Please keep it up!!!!

My all time favorite place to go for anything and everything home improvement.Walters is also entertaining with all of their trains, planes, and automobiles.Karen,Walter,and Scott are the best.They know everything that youll need for any project- and theyre all incredibly nice people.You wont find any of this at Home Depot up the road. The prices are the same as theirs, and its just worth the personalized service that youll find here.

Found this AWESOME store when i found out The Train Shoppe was no longer open while sitting in their parking lot ( thanks for that google )9. We walked in & myself, my 18yr old son & his friend, ( the boys dont get excited over much ) but their faces said it all! My son said WOW a... or COOL its a... as he named off the names of the VERY B#f Military airplanes that hung from the ceiling. I mannaged to leave only spending a couple $ on the special model glue he needed. And i got the screws i forgot i needed. My son is already taking about going back. I already told my friend about this store since his son wants to get into RC cars.If you like models or trains this place is for you!

Incredibly limited fpv quad selection. Every time I stop in, there is never any new components. Over heard a customer asking about drones and the owner completely dismissed them, which explains that. Its a shame seeing the only other employee on the rc side likes them a lot. Now for cars (mainly arrma, traxxas, axial, and a few horizon hobby products) they do have a nice selection of newer popular vehicles and parts. The hardware section also is good, and the checkout lady is very kind. They most always have what you need.

I am a truck driver I so often comes in to Walters Hardware Mr. Walter has his Own way I brought an apprentice online he would not let me leave the store till I got on The Apprentice computerized simulator to make sure that I was familiar with the operation of my RC plane later on I came back with another plane that I brought off the internet Brian added a motor prop battery control servos control cables and the plane works fine all for under a 100 bucks these people people know what theyre doing even the lady at the counter is very very nice you cannot be in Wilkes-Barre and not go to his store and buy RC......... if anybody has anything bad to say about this store or those people I will run you off the roadWith my truck its not an RC😆😎🚐
