Great service in a timely manner

The prices were fantastic and the repairs were finished in only an hour! I had been a little nervous taking my car in by myself, because I am a female college student who has had uncomfortable experiences at other repair places where I feel like people have taken advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge by trying to pressure me to buy expensive/unnecessary parts. However, Brian took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong with my car and recommended that I replace some parts in the future, but made it clear that buying these parts was my choice and not needed immediately. He was also very courteous about working to accommodate me by moving my appointment up so I could avoid driving in the snow.

This place is awesome! In August 2017 I was stuck in Williamsburg with a radiator leak. I was on my way from Virginia Beach to home in the Richmond area. I looked on-line for a reputable repair shop. Williamsburg Automotive Repair had some excellent reviews. The one that clinched it for me was the one that said that the locals will take their cars no where else! I took my car there and the mechanic found that I had a broken clamp on the upper radiator hose--that was the only problem! He had my car fixed and ready to roll in on time. This shop will NOT sell you something that you do not need! Honest and trustworthy people! I know where to take my car if I have car trouble in Williamsburg again.

Brian needs to be the person to work on your vehicle! He is very reasonable priced, doesnt try to get you to buy unnecessary parts to fix your vehicle, and keeps you well informed. I tend to be a person who wants to know what is going on and tend to check on the progress more than most and he and his staff were always polite, courteous, and I never felt as if they didnt want to take the time to explain the work going on each and every time I called. I was first referred to Brain at Williamsburg Automotive Repair when my son’s late model Ford left him stranded and had to be towed. Anticipating the worst and trying to decide how much money we were willing to invest in the repairs, what we actually received was exceptional customer service and a clear concise explanation of the problem (which turned out to be relatively minor). The costs of repairs were lower than other local estimates (I called around), the vehicle was ready earlier than expected, and the problem was corrected the first time.
