Great experience. Some items werent in stock is the reason for the 4 star review. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The kids enjoyed themselves and love their fur friends.

Love this build a bear. Have been going for years. Drive up there from VA Beach as this one is more friendly and a better selection. The staff here is friendly and fabulous

Fun time with the young ones and the young at heart. Getting one of these bears is every persons dream. Spacious location with a nice selection of bears and characters to choose from. The process of choosing your bear and watching it being created is awesome. The staff was truly friendly and polite.

The sign says outlet, but other than having a slightly larger clearance section on outfits/accessories, everything else seemed priced the same as any other location.

The manager was rude. Three of them working but only one person could stuff bears, causing a long wait; then they dont want you to sit because of covid.. ridiculous!

Makayla and Sierra were awesome! Very helpful and informative. Makayla even drew smiley faces on a band-aid that we asked for when we came in because our daughter had a scratch on her hand. I hope every Build-A-Bear store has employees like them.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful. My son had a wonderful experience for his first time at Build-A-Bear.

I ended up here with my grandson. Theres a wide selection of stuffed toys to chose from and the staff is very helpful

Prices are high as always (to be expected), but people are nice, and they have variety. Did get in on the sale, so that was a plus.

It was okay. The kids had fun. They say they wont let the kids push the pedal to add the stuffing because of covid but will let them get close doing the heart, voice boxes and sewing. That didnt make sense to me.

Loved it was a outlet store. I had $60 in gift cards and both children got something.

My friend got her grandbaby a bear and she love it.

Stopped in recently for our boys birthdays. Would not have thought the Build-a-bear workshop in the outlets would be on par with other stores, but I was wrong.The selection was better than most others, and the staff were amazing. They have special items there to make the birthday experience better. Most importantly, the were very attentive to the boys and gave great selection advice / recommendations.

They were very nice. Today was a special day. It was my daughters fourth birthday and they made it even special.

The girl working there, I think her was Larret, was very helpful and personable. She and my wife talked pokemon while stuffing our vaporion. We we very pleased with our purchase and service.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The kids had a blast. Also felt great not feeling pressured into buying ALL the accessories.

This was an awesome place! My wife and I took three of our kids in here in July 2019 to beat the heat and make my two youngest ones happy. I have been to a lot of these workshops, and every one of them have been very fun, but this one in particular was especially fun and entertaining because of the two employees that were there that evening. They were extremely fun with the kids and made my wife feel like a kid again when she made her first bear (Cinderella bear). If you have little ones the. They will definitely have fun in here!

The staff at the store understand experience which is the main reason I return. My 9yo loves this store and I will happily pay to see him smile and feel so happy when he watches his fave you get stuffed, add a heart, pick out an outfit, or create the birth certificate. All of the staff are fun, and the most PATIENT people I have ever seen in retail. I could not so what they do. I get coupons in my email that allow me to save the 45 min drive, but I will continue to come here and bring my son as long as I can. Not for nothing; my 16yo joined in and got a Jedi bear it looked so fun!

This is a cute place.. they even have roller skates for the animals.( If you plan on buying the roller skates they work better if your animal is fully stuffed). The only downside is the checkout process takes along time and the kids get restless waiting.

We went today for my daughters birthday and the two ladies working were excellent and really made it special for her. They were so patient, helpful and kind with all four of my children. We live a couple hours away but will definitely be back next time were in the area!

Just received my receipt by email today, and I just new something didn’t sounds right. Salesperson John was great with kids but walked all over me and my husband. He literally knew what he was doing by showing my 3 year old the most expensive stuff in Thebes store. This was our first time at build a bear and we wanted it to be a memorable experience. First he showed my son toothless, my 3 year old has no clue who toothless is. We told him we did not want the special edition to save money, well he picks it up anyway and I don’t notice it til I’m checking out. He shows my son all the noice makers when I told him we were trying to stay in a budget. Then we get up front to check out and he said I received 2 $10giftcards for spending $79. Well that was a lie !! I paid for the gift cards in my receipt. My total should have been $59, not $79!!! We were visiting from out of town the experience was terrible. He knows us parents want to allow the kids to have fun but he takes complete advantage of letting kids make decisions. I’ll never be going back here again.

Was told when I asked ahead of time that they accepted the Build a Bear gift cards BUT after we came in from Richmond to Williamsburg and the boys got theirs made we were told by the lady there that they only accept Yankee Candle gift certificates and coupons but NOT the Build a Bear gift certificates. Needless to say I am very upset. Having to come out over $100 out of pocket to keep 3 kids from bawling their eyes out all the way back to Richmond.

Loved it, we decided to try this location for my oldest daughter to make a bear on her birthday and compared to the other location near us it was amazing!! They made her feel so special and payed so much attention to her, we didn’t even get that much attention when i booked her party two years ago at the short pump mall location, this time it was no booked event just my friend and i and of course my girls coming to have a good time... i 100% recommend this location and i thank them for helping us celebrate her 7th birthday

Amazing customer service.We were traveling from out of state and The guy gave us a great food recommendation.Store closed at 7 and he hung around until 7:25 allowing my kids to get the full build a bear experience !!Hands down the Best Build A Bear I have EVER been too !!

Good sale, cute idea

The place is a bit expensive, but thats Build-a-Bear in general. So no points knocked off for that. The store was clean and organized. But it was the staff that REALLY made it an amazing experience. They asked what we were looking for, made suggestions, and just talked and listened to us while we were there, no rushing, no pressure.

Was referred to this location by my buddy David. John helped me pick out the perfect gift for my girlfriend and our newly born daughter. The experience was an outstanding one and I will return for gifts in the future.

This place is so much fun for the whole family. Three generations built bears yesterday. Regular prices are a bit high, but they have great sales!

My expierence at this build a bear was beyond 5 stars. My group of teenagers from Central Virginia came to this shop to make a bear for our schools beta club. John was literally the most fun and helpful person ever !!! He went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and memorable. Thank you so much!!

The gentleman that helped us I believe his name was John was amazing. He was great with my son and didnt try and push any product on us. He stayed with my son the whole time picking everything out and making it to dressing it. Will be back!

This place is great. It is an outlet so things are way cheaper. The people that work there made it really enjoyable for my daughter.

The employee was more than patient with my five year old overly ambitious god son and made it a very enjoyable experiance.

Everything was regularly priced, except a few clearance items. That was very disappointing. The sales people were well trained and really cater to children. The customer service made up for the costly visit.

Bryant and John are the BEST!!! They made our expierence so awesome. A group of high school seniors came from Lynchburg for our senior trip. Bryant made us feel right at home and he went out of his way to make our visit great. Josh remembered us from our last visit, and made sure that we all left with a smile on our faces.
