This Family Dollar is much like other Family Dollars with good prices & decent selection of various groceries, and household items and seasonal decorations. However the sign stating 2 cards for $1 in the greeting card section is misleading. The card that I chose was $2 when I reached the checkout. Apparently not all cards are included in the special price. If there is a sign indicating that not all cards are included in the special price it is not very prominent. When I mentioned that there needs to be a sign in that section to the checkout clerk she responded, I hear that all day maam, what do you want me to do?When I suggested that a sign be put up, she again replied in a exasperated voice, Do you want to talk to the manager? I told her no but I hoped that she would tell the manager about my suggestion. She not very convincingly replied that she would. I told her I was sorry & did not mean to make her day worse but if there was a sign perhaps she wouldnt have to hear about it all day.

I went to that store to pick up a few odds & ends. the place was really busy. I asked an older gentleman i think his name was Mark or Mike for help in finding an item. He personally took me to it, answered my questions and offered an alternative product. I was impressed he took the time to to help me and he even had a sense of humor and was polite. Ill be going back to that store.

I only go to Family Dollar store if I have to. Some of their stuff is too expensive for the quality of said products, IMO they are good for some quick groceries/paper products. I usually find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Oh before I forget this goes for the other Family Dollar stores in the area as well.

The cashier was very rude when asked to double bag and reply there’s nothing to really double bag when in fact there was because we was to worried about her phone then her job.

I was at the family Dollar on 4th Street on Saturday May 8th at 8:30 this morning and I want to say that the cashier I had was very wonderful nice kind and gentle and very helpful

On 4th Street, lines are quick and serving next in line, unlike Park Ave! Clean store!

Funny how one family Dollar is stocked well with all.....all the time....but one on fourth is always empty shevles.........hhh.mmmm.......maybe order more of at that time so u dont run out???????

Family Dollar is a Great Place to shop. The employees are very friendly an courteous. An they even address you by name they are as the store name reads family . The prices are low an the selection is very good. Usually if they are out of an item its back on the shelf in 2 or 3 days. It is indeed a Family store.

Tried to return a pair of ear buds I purchased the day before because my daughter found the pair she thought she lost I had the receipt and the package was never opened but they wouldnt give me my money back. As a matter of fact they wouldnt even give me store credit. It was a measly $5 but its the principal. I threw the ear buds behind the counter and had some not so very nice words for that employee. I dont know her name and dont care but she should be fired. I guarantee if I wanted to press the issue and go above her to management it wouldnt end well for her. But im not that guy I dont want to be responsible for anyone losing a job. I will however never shop at that store again. I would rather drive an extra 10 or 20 miles just to avoid that person. I wish I could give less than no stars because I would.

Handy in a pinch for small misc items

The worse family dollar in Williamsport employees are rude and managers are rude and they are under stocked they are not clean and they dont know how to run a store at all.You ask them a question they srug u off like you arent even there .They are disrespectful and very unkind.They are slow and very disorganied.I would not recommend this place to anyone but i would hepburn and lycoming creek road stores.One star is being nice wish they had a zero star option.

Good store, good staff, very friendly employee base. They used to sell furniture items that you can put together. They dont get that stuff in anymore, only 1 once in a while and it dont stay on the shelf very long.

The cashier was horrible. By the time I was ready to pay for my merchandise I was afraid to. I got the impression that they sell junk and then if you open a package and it is broke you cant get your money back. I wont be going to that store again. The second thing is while he was waiting on the lady before me voice​ out loud that if you are got stealing all they do is tell you you cant come back to the store. Yes lets encourage shoplifting.

The young man who checked me out was the best

The cashier (Luke? Nate? Some monosyllabic name...) was incredibly rude to me in spite of my attempt to be friendly and cheerful. I said hi, he ignored me. Then he said hi to the guy BEHIND me. I said thank you when he handed me my receipt and he completely ignored me again - no response. Not once did he even make eye contact with me. And to top it all off, he didnt put my sandwich bags in the bag with the rest of my stuff (but he sure charged me for it!). I dont usually do those customer satisfaction surveys on the receipts but I did it today.

Store employees were respectful and clean store. But horrible because cops came up and said high drug area and wondering why I was there it was very uncomfortable

Only go there since its close to my apartment and if Im in need of something. Some of the staff are friendly. Just not a big selection and sometimes over priced for the convenience.
