We are visiting from Utah and my sons glasses needed to be adjusted! He was super sweet and made it fun for my son! They are super friendly and helpful! They are Definitely not in it for just money! They put customer service first!Thank you to them for adjusting the glasses and sending us on our way quickly!!!!!

Went today for an eye exam and I can say this is my go to for eye exams from now on. I noticed right away that equipment used to check your eyes looked clean and somewhat newer. The staff here were overall excellent. Definitely willing to recommend this place.

Brought my mother to her appointment, we clearly were next in line but they decided to wait on the little white lady and we had to wait for the next available receptionist. The receptionist had the nerve to feel like she had a attitude when she was asked by my elderly mother to repeat what she said, smh! They need new receptionist if they don’t like their job!! Felt very unwanted, uncomfortable and displeased!!!
I had an eye exam done, price was about average when paying cash, however I needed to take my prescription with me so that I could order glasses online, I cant afford the 500 dollars they get for glasses. Before I left I asked if they would measure my p.d for glasses. They flat out refused!! It takes maybe 15 seconds! I had to order my glasses without that measurement. I would never recommend them. Petty, and rude
I have been going to Price Optical for years now. Nick and the staff there have been wonderful to work with. Always, courteous and professional. They work with me to find the best options for contacts and glasses. I recommend them to my family and friends. Plus, they have hours that are conducive for those of us work during the day.

A friend of mine referred me to Price Optical to get a pair of cocoon sunglasses. I was overly impressed with Emily as she remembered my friends name and said she had sent several people in to get them. When I decided I was going to make an eye appointment, I decided to give Price Optical a try. When I called, I once again had the pleasure of speaking to Emily. When she was making my appointment she asked if I had eye coverage. I said I didnt think so. She said to bring in my cards so she could check. Well much to my surprise I have had eye insurance coverage for the past 10 years and didnt realize it. So Ive been paying for my eye exams when they should have been free. I could have went on not realizing this coverage. Emily took the extra time to see if I did have coverage. Each time Ive had contact with her shes been chipper, friendly and profession. I truly appreciated her going the extra mile and saving me money. I returned to Price Optical because of my first interaction with Emily and now I will return because of her work ethic. She is an asset to their business.
The employees here, as far as the little woman who sit behind the desk when you walk in, not the actual professionals, were ignorant and rude. They treat you like you are dumb and talk down to you. My grandpa took me here since I was a kid because he thought it was the best place to go, after he has passed and I am now an adult I decided to come back as a sort of way to remember him and I couldn’t of been more unhappy. I don’t understand why they think they have any right to belittle anybody, the job they work is kind of a customer service job- receptionists are the face of the company, I think they all should take some classes on general respect. The eye doctors on the other hand were great, but they were men, why woman choose to treat other woman spitefully I’ll never understand..
I have been going to Price Optical for eye exams and glasses for many years and have always had amazing care and service. I recently decided to attempt contact lenses even though I have a fear of touching my eyes. The staff at Price Optical was kind and patient with me, while they thoughtfully worked with me to navigate my new contact lenses. I very much appreciate their time and knowledge and look forward to my follow up consult to make sure Im enjoying my new contacts!! Excellent service!!

I have been a customer with Price Optical for more than 25 years and they have provided myself and my family with excellent care!!! I have tried other places and believe me, Price is second to none!!! The contact lens fitters (Nick & Nina) are patient & work very hard @ giving quality care. Dr. Phibbs is efficient, friendly, & professional. I always feel confident that his prescriptions are accurate (I have had bad experiences elsewhere). With the new technology Price offers, they were able to help diagnose & prevent a family member from possibly losing his sight!!! On the front line, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gabe!!! She is EXCELLENT with customer service. She goes above and beyond to help the clients. Price would NOT be the same without her friendly, positive attitude. Tiffany has also been very helpful & kind throughout the years. The fantastic customer care that Gabe & Tiffany offer are another reason I return to Price year after year!!! I am SO GRATEFUL that Price Optical is in this town & I would not know what to do without the AWESOME service that they provide.
Staff are reliable and quick to offer assistance. Customer service is on point and turn around time from ordering to delivery of product is exceptional.

If you need an itemized receipt for anything dont waste your time here... there are 1 or 2 woman at the front desk that are to lazy to do it right the first time. The one even had the nerve to say that my wife was being rude when she flat out told her that, I need an itemized receipt of everything to get refunded the several hundred dollars Ive spent here
I would also like to throw in my 2 cents. I was applying to work there as an assistant. The reviews were off putting. To make a long story short, they need to work on their customer service skills. Badly.
Perhaps since the last reviews they have overhauled their customer service/front desk personnel. I had a friendly and helpful experience. My wife and went there and both purchased lenses and frames. I also purchased and continue to purchase contact lenses. I strongly disagree with the previous reviews.

Sidney (counter customer service) went way out of her way to research my medical insurance benefits. I was very impressed with her tenacity. She was extremely helpful.
From my first phone call to both visits I had no problems. The front desk and doctors were very friendly and thorough with my exam, glasses and contact fitting.
They tell you to be 10mins early. You shop up early and then you wait another 30mins just to be seen. Vary disappointed! Also they aren’t great with kids and the front desk lady’s have no customer service skills. Rude mouths.
When I called about a question on an outstanding bill the woman that explained the issue was terribly rude and unprofessional. I will not be going here again.
My experience has been horrible at price optical in Williamsport Pennsylvania went their April 14 to get glasses picked out the frames and I told the guy who ordered them I need a blue blocker put in and wanted the same thing in the glass as the ones i had on the same tint and everything I got a call about a week later put them on I couldnt even see out of them the guy took them back and seid they were wrong so they sent them back got a call maybe a week or so later I went in tryed them on still something was not right so they told me to take them try them for a few days and if not bring them back so I did I could not see to get across the road so I put my old glasses back on and decided to take them to my eye doctor in state college the guy at my eye doctor told me that they didnt have the blue blocker in plus they had a polish in them that made a glare then my eye doctor the polish took them back to the store told them their was no blue blocker they seid it was $50.00 more so I was ok paying for the blue blocker if it would help they seid ok got them back may 21 the glare was back on I told them they seid try them for a few days agin the glare was their after a day and the glare was really irritating to my vision so I took them back may 22 the guy seid to me you can find and look for anything you want so I seid just give me a refund and then they seid no one was Their to wright a a check so we have a letter now saying their going to give us a refund
I would like to be removed from your site. My experience was beyond horrific with Dr. Phibbs. He told me I had a brain tumor without looking at my chart when I actually had something that I was born with - no issues with my eyes whatsoever. After I felt that I was basically going to die for 15 minutes, he called me back (on his cell phone) to tell me he made a mistake. He admitted he never looked at my chart. So yes, I went to Nittany Eye Center in State College where there was amazing equipment and low and behold, I dont even need reading glasses, just cheaters. VERY UPSETTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the person who said worst employees, is correct. What an unfriendly feeling when you walk to the counter and the person doesnt even smile. What happened to good customer service? I told the front desk person that I have Blue Cross Vision, because thats what it says on the front of my insurance card, and she said she doesnt think they take this insurance, so she asks another employee who says, no, Blue Cross uses Davis Vision and we dont take that. I told the lady that they are listed in the provider directory that I just looked up an hour earlier, and she proceeded to tell me they dont take it and it wouldnt cover my visit. I said my insurance certificate of coverage didnt say anything about Davis Vision when I just looked up the benefits an hour earlier. So, I said to forget it. I went out to my car and called the insurance company and the representative advised Price Optical is participating with my insurance, and the benefits are administered by NVA, not Davis Vision. So, not only are the people unfriendly, they are extremely unknowledgable. Perhaps she should have used her awesome customer service skills and actually called the insurance company to find out about my individual insurance instead of just asking a random employee if they were in network with my insurance. The other employee didnt even look at my ID card. Did I bother to go back in? Hell no! You couldnt pay me to be a customer at Price Optical in Williamsport. Maybe they need to be more selective on who they hire. Try hiring friendly, helpful staff. No wonder the parking lot and waiting areas were both empty. They probably turned away customers telling them they dont participate with their insurance when in fact they actually do. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Not horrible,,,,,,,,,, but their money greed over rides their sense of customer care..............Will probably find another place to go........Sometimes you just expect professionalism when you go........yes.... i just thought more could have done for the customer.............
I was only giving a short amount of glasses to choose from.( 10 ) and was told thats all my insurance pays for. Probably because since they give such a small selection they want people to spend money on buying other pairs of glasses that they really cant afford. Its the smallest amount of glasses to choose from that I ever seen at any eye doctor office that Ive ever been to. Im going somewhere else next time!

Billing staff is lazy and incompetent. Found out after the exam they were out of network. Wouldnt even bill my insurance for out of network fees unless i paid the bill in full first. Pathetic excuse for customer support.
