Excellent service. Prompt response. I was so impressed that the service man removed his shoes at the door! He did a great job servicing my oven, was very quick, and reasonable with price. He even fixed a busted drawer without me asking him to! I will be using this company again in the future. Highly recommended!
I spoke to Nancy on the phone. She was kind and promptly scheduled our repair. Tom arrived on time and was armed with necessary replacement parts. He was polite, efficient, tidy, and he fixed our familys refrigerator. I would definitely use this business in the future.
I just called and asked a simple question and the lady on the phone was very sweet, very kind and very informative. Ive never had such great customer service over the phone!
Took my TV In For repair..the gentleman looked at it said nothing is wrong with your TV. He did a Couple of things and said all set. No charge. I couldn’t believe people like him still existed. I would take any of my appliances there in a heart beat.
I called and spoke with someone who pretty quickly dismissed my question. Soon after I hung up the phone a woman named Nancy called me, noting that she saw the negative review I gave about the initial customer service interaction. I described the motor that needed to be fixed and also let her know that I drove 45 minutes to get to Williston today. She said the Electronic Hospital still wasn’t willing to fix my home appliance. Here is a photo of the motor that needs to be replaced. Thank you to Nancy for reacting to the review and giving me a call back to talk about the repair and the impact (one-star review) of my initial conversation with their receptionist. I’ve upgraded my review to two stars.
Quick response and fast, efficient service. Will definitely use again!
Lowes should find a new business to do their appliance repairs. 3 visits to our home to fix the malfunctioning refrigerator and it is now worse than before. Today was the 4th call and they refused to accept the service work order, saying that it is functioning normally and it is essentially :just a low quality appliance. A quart of milk that freezes into a solid block of ice one day and then defrosts the next day and then repeats the cycle is NOT a normally functioning refrigerator. The freezer thaws and freezes and thaws and freezes. It ruins our food. The freezer is no more than 1/3 full, nor is the fridge section. The woman who answers the phone and the technician who then took over the phone call were basically insulting. Go elsewhere!
Nancy has been the go-to servicer of the appliances and electronics my business uses in case of repair. Though especially now that parts are back ordered more often than not, they always have provided me with the best service I could ask for. Once you realize that life happens and you have to depend on parts you dont have on hand, half of these complaints are null-in-void. Kuddos to you and you team Nancy!
MY front loader kept shutting down. I solved the problem after I call the E hospital and got the right part first try. The online sites just could not get their stuff together. True professionals that have the experience to get it right the first time. I recommend for any appliance work.
Tom and Nancy are the real deal. WONDERFUL service and professional care. Prompt, smart, very reasonably priced, totally upstanding and everything is working great now--- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :-)
I called hoping that they could send a tech to fix my fridge. As it turns out they dont service my refrigerators brand, but they helped me diagnose my problem over the phone and I was able to fix it myself. Absolutely knowledgeable, respectful and professional.
I’ve had an inoperable refrigerator for 6 days now. My fridge broke on a Saturday so I thought it was acceptable that the issue was not able to be addressed until Monday. Upon talking with the friendly technician on Monday, he assured me that since I had no fridge, he was going to have the part overnighted and would get it repaired the next day, Tuesday. I learned on Wednesday that the part had been ordered by UPS ground to save money so I couldn’t make an apt to have my fridge fixed until Thursday.I was given a window of 10am to 1pm. At 1130, I called to check in with the “Customer Service” representative to see if I could get an updated arrival time and the woman was very rude to me telling me, no, I’d just have to wait then she literally hung up on me mid sentence. We did not get disconnected, she said “goodbye” followed by a click. That behavior is absolutely unacceptable and I will be contacting Samsung to report the company.
Russ came out today and repaired our refrigerator through the manufacturers warranty. He also helped us out by looking at a problem our stove had and suggested an easy fix. Thank you Russ!
We’ve had our washing machine and refrigerator go the in the last month. Both times Electronics Hospital has ordered the parts needed and been by to fix it within a week for a very reasonable price. We are so happy to have found them and recommend them to any homeowner who is looking to keep their appliances going!
This company is super awesome! They are samsung certified, and that alone is an impressive thing. My repair man, Russ, checked my washer for multiple different things before deciding it was the drain pump that malfunctioned. It was tedious work to get the old one out and the new one it, but he did it! Nit to mention, they were short staffed but still managed to get me in. Will be using them whenever I have a problem!
Excellent service
Nancy is the worst person I have ever dealt with. She has an attitude like she is something. She does not reply to emails or calls. And when she does she is just rude and talks very aggressively. Don’t know how she is still working in this place. She should be fired immediately for being rude to her customers. No wonder why this place has a so low rating and many people complain of her.
I spoke with Nancy on 3/30/2020, and she told me if I dropped it off in the early morning, it could be ready in the afternoon. So on 3/31/2020 I brought it in before 9 am, and within 1 hour I received a call that it was fixed and ready to pick up. They were all very professional, and their prices are very reasonable, and i would recommend them to anyone who ask. Thank you Nancy and crew for all of your help. My tv is working and I am 100% happy with the service. So if you need a tv or appliance repaired give them a call. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!
Watch out for this company they told us the motor was shot on our down draft and charged us $250 when all that was wrong was it needed the motor mounts replaced. Avoid this company at all cost unless you want them to steal your money!
These people are crooks. They came to fix the agitator. And messed the motor. Gave my mom 2 months warranty and never came to repair it. Then when she called they told her that theyre were on their way. Never showed up!!!
All I can say is Wow!! We have been dealing with our LG washer having problems completing a cycle since we purchased it nearly 3 years ago and after reading the reviews on the LG website it seemed that LG did not stand behind their products so I never wanted to waste the time or money for service. Instead I continuously tried to trick the washer into completing the cycle and became less and less successful with my efforts. Not wanting to purchase another new machine I decided to call Lowes where we purchased the machine and talk to them about the issue. They did not hesitate to send Electronic Hospital out at their cost and they sent them quickly. I surely could have saved myself a couple of years of frustration had I ignored the poor reviews and called earlier.Tom took one look at the washer and knew the problem well. He immediately replaced the main software board and when that did not completely fix the problem he replaced the motor. It is incredible. The machine that has never worked properly for us, now spins every load through perfectly. And I tested it by washing a quilt the first load, followed by a combination of towels and sheets. Both loads that would never complete prior to Electronic Hospitals visit.Thank you so much Tom and crew!! Do not ever hesitate to call them
Was able to get an appointment quickly when my dryer stopped heating. Was told between the hours of 1 and 4...Russ was here promptly at 1:00 and was done within a half hour. Thanks so much!
Technician showed up right on time. Very clean, courteous and knowledgeable. He had all of the parts he needed and got the job done. I highly recommend the electronics hospital!
Whirlpool set me up with an appointment for my washer to accommodate our chaotic schedule. The lady I spoke with (Nancy) from Electronic Hospital was incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly. She stated they were “not driving all the way out to Fairfax” to diagnose my washer and honor the time set by Whirlpool. Instead they want to “research” and order everything it “might be.” Williston is not that far from Fairfax. Customer service should be more important than. 25 minute drive.
One star is one to many . need warranty work done on my Samsung TV .was told by the lady that called me that they would be able to come out 7/25/18 at 930am waited no one showed up called there at 10:15 am was told by the lady that does the scheduling that they didnt have me on the schedule and it would be another week before they could come out . asked her why she said the week prior that they would be here she said she has been doing the scheduling for over 30 years and I was not scheduled she was very rude and nasty also the warranty company called and also said she was not very nice
I have an extended warranty on my Frigidaire washing machine And when I called to say something was wrong with my washer they suggested electronica hospital. What a nightmare from the get-go would never recommend them for anything! The girl on the phone is very rude and gives the poorest customer service!
Had our dryer serviced (front load Samsung) last week by EH. The technician was on time and courteous, and the dryer was fixed in short order. He replaced a part which had the heating coil, thermostat and thermal fuse all in one.The dryer now works like a charm, and they did it for less than the price Sears would have charged me. Recommended!
This is my second time around working with Nancy and the crew at Electronics Hospital. In both instances, they were the local provider connected to a service / warranty plan from a manufacturer. They are knowledgable, courteous, and went out of their way to help. They called in advance to make sure that when they showed up for the service appt they would have the appropriate parts. That paired with the fact that they had a cap on the out of pocket expenses I could expect to spend has made them my go to expert.
My folks have a whirlpool fridge that wasn’t cooling. Nancy and her tech helped us diagnose and get it cooling again the same day. Super helpful!
My dryer stopped working just days before a family trip. EH was able to fit me into their schedule. I appreciated them asking some preliminary questions about the dryer and symptoms before they traveled out to Colchester for the service call. The technician was prompt, courteous and thorough in his explanation when identifying why the dryer was broken. The part necessary to repair my 14-year old dryer wasnt immediately available, but knowing I was heading out of town the next day and needed to get laundry done, he was able to get it temporarily working. Savior! When we returned from the trip, the new part was installed and the dryer is working like new.
I needed a tech to come check out my dryer that was making unusually loud noises. When he did, he said the dryer drum was warped and that the necessary parts would be in a few days. Upon calling after a few days to get an ETA on the parts, I spoke with Nancy. Oh, Nancy. Nancy had informed me that the dryer was unrepairable and that she would not be fixing the dryer. I of course took this up with LG, as I was told differently by the tech. LG assured me that the work order had been approved and that they would resolve this problem. After speaking with LG a few days later, they had informed me that Nancy was now claiming that I had a bent frame, broken heating element, bent rollers, and of course, a warped drum. This was news to me (I was quite surprised) and it was completely different from what the tech (the guy who works on these things daily) had told me. This became a week long process with no solution. I have since had a new service center come out to repair my dryer. Turns out it was the front drum roller that was slightly out of place and needed to be replaced. The job was done in 30 minutes. Im not sure who the bigger JOKE is here: Nancy or the company for which she works. These people will waste your time.
Courteous, fast, fair and honest. What more can you ask for? Everyone Ive dealt with at Electronic Hospital has all of these qualities. Almost takes the pain out of having a broken tv, washing machine, dryer, etc. They get it fixed or tell you not to waste your money....I appreciate that and highly recommend them.
I cant say anything about their technical proficiency, but I waited patiently for over a week to get someone to come out to look at my TV for an in warranty repair. I was a bit concerned and then saw all the reviews here and on Yelp. Ive since asked LG to cancel the work order and try to schedule it with a different service center. I cant imagine having to deal with them out of warranty.
My Samsung Washer and Dryer both started having problems around the same time. I called my usual appliance repair person and he informed me that he didnt work on Samsung Appliances. A quick Google Search for Samsung Appliance Repair Vermont returned Electronic Hospital as the top result. The reviews here are mixed. People either really love or really hate the service they received, so I was a bit nervous giving Electronic Hospital a call. I am happy to report on an excellent experience!I called on Friday morning to schedule service. I dont recall the mans name who answered the phone, but he was helpful. We discussed the problem I was having with each machine and what I had done so far to diagnose the problem. He explained that there would be a $130 flat rate charge to work on each machine and there would be a charge for any parts needed. He was very clear that if they repaired both machines I would be charged the flat rate for each device and that the work would be warrantied/supported if they needed to come out a second time. The problem with the washer was pretty cut & dry that I would need a new drain pump. The problem with the dryer was less obvious over the phone and he did say if after diagnosing the dryer if the recommendation was not to fix it, he wouldnt charge me the flat rate on the dryer since they would already be out there for the washer. I live in Franklin County, so he let me know they dont work in my area as often as other parts of Vermont and that Nancy would call me early next week to schedule my house for the next time they were going to be out our way. This made me a bit nervous that it might be weeks, but the gentleman explained it would be the following week as opposed to that day.On Monday afternoon Nancy gave me a call to schedule a Wednesday appointment between 2 and 5pm.Russ arrived at my house a little after 3:30pm and began to work on the washer. He confirmed a problem with the pump and had already brought the replacement in with him upon arrival. When he removed the pump an unseen ball of hair/debris fell out of the pump. He acknowledged that might have been the problem and that he would be happy to reinstall the existing pump and see if that worked. I chose to go with the replacement since the washer is already 5 years old, he was here and the washer was already taken apart as opposed to needing to make another service call in the near future. The problem with my dryer is that it wouldnt ever end a cycle or cool down when it was running. Russ diagnosed a couple of possibilities and then called Samsung Technical Support for guidance. They confirmed that with the symptoms presented that the heating element was bad and needed replacing. Russ took apart the dryer and we both observed that one of the heating coils was fried and the wire had come off the lead. Basically, one of the wires had come off the lead so there was an incomplete circuit. The missing wire was actually fused to the metal case surrounding all the heating coils. This confirmed Russ and Samsungs diagnosis of the problem. He went out to his van, got a replacement heating element, and installed it in the dryer.Russ was out of my house in a little over an hour after fixing both appliances. He was professional and I appreciated that he had all the necessary parts with him to complete the job that day.I am giving Electronic Hospital 5 stars. Both phone calls and the visit from Russ were all good experiences. Electronic Hospital did everything that they said they would (called early the following week to schedule an appointment, the appointment was for the week I was told it would be, they had the parts and were able to resolve the problems). Russ was thorough in diagnosing the problems and tested to ensure that the fix worked.I would definitely call them again if I have an issue with one of my appliances.
Avoid!! Unfortunately for me on LG tech in the area. Oven was broken in October; tech came out with the wrong part, still had to pay for the labor. I was told we would have the new part by Thanksgiving...fast forward to March. I called three times about the part just to follow up and was told the part was on back order and that I would be contacted (in the rudest way possible) I finally called LG directly and surprise! the part was and has been available. When LG called these guys to tell them the part was avalible Nancy let them know shes been trying to contact me and I wasn’t responding...totally makes sense that I would avoid getting my oven fixed which we haven’t been able to use for 4 month. No calls or voicemails from them, not even 1. It’s really disappointing that this is the only option out there and that this is the way a company would treat their customers...avoid if you can!
They were able to address my fridge issues same day. Great service, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this group to anyone in need of an appliance repair.
Doesnt deserve this star. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. The woman Nancy is the rudest person and should not be representing this company. Avoid this company. I will be reporting them to every agency starting with BBB. People need to know how bad of a service company they are.
This place has horrible customer service and does a terrible job (or in my case no job at all) Read story below for the details, but seriously this is one of the most unfriendly, disorganized, and incompetent businesses (Customer service wise) Ive encountered in the Burlington VT / VT as a whole ever. Dont take your stuff here, go elsewhere.Had an issue with my less than a year old 47 LG TV so called LG and they told me it was under warranty and that Electronics Hospital would be sending a technician over the next day to look at it and repair it. They never showed the next day and when I called they were very short and rude telling me they had just gotten the work order the day earlier. They also said they knew the problem my TV was having was with the panel (Remember they never had anyone actually look at the TV so how do they know its the panel??). They tell me the panel will take a week to get here and theres nothing they can do. Anyways, the next day (today) I check my email and notice I got one from them the day before (the same day they told me it would be here in a week), non nonchalantly telling me the panel was on back order and theyd called me when they know something. So I called over to clarify if they had heard anything or even had a rough idea of the panel status so I could have a rough idea of when I might be able to have my $700 TV fixed. When I called and asked this question, the person on the phone then proceeded to (very rudely and condescendingly), explain what he thinks back ordered means. I have worked customer service jobs and this level of service is just way below par (Also -side note- how can someone be so grumpy on a Friday?). Dont go to this place, I spoke with them over 3 times on the phone and every encounter they were short and rude with me for no reason. 1 star is too many stars for Electronics Hospital. Also if you dont believe my review or what Im saying, go look at their YELP reviews.*Note - This is all in reference to their customer service, because they never showed up I cant judge the quality of their technicians. As such - I have no opinion on their technicians, I just know their customer service is terrible.
Freezer wouldnt defrost. Technician came out and defrosted the freezer, fixed the broken part and vacuumed up all mess. Freezer runs like a charm now. Would recommend to anyone I know.
Technician came promptly and took microwave/range hood for repair. Appliance came back with same problems. Could not get tech to call back for follow up appointment to actually repair microwave. Out $120 and appliance is still broken. Dont recommend.
I just called them to ask about warranty information and she asked if it was less than a year old, I said no. She said its probably out of warranty. I was going to ask if they wanted to look at the issue but she chuckled and hung up on me after I told her it was 7 yrs old. She was very UN-professional and was in too much of a hurry to listen and didnt even ask if there was anything else, just hung up on me. Never use these people, they sent a repair person to look at our Bosch washer and they destroyed it trying to remove the door improperly. Hopefully this review saves someone the unpleasant dealings of their unqualified staff. I would have given zero stars if it let me.
Best place around to get service on your electronics and home appliances.
The most amazingly rude people Ive ever dealt with. I bought a Samsung stove at Lowes that need repair. The stove BTW was only 3 months old. I tried to make an appointment for repair after Lowes sent me to Samsung and Samsung sent me to Electronic Hospital. The woman on the phone was so rude while I was trying to make the appointment I was beginning to wonder whether it was worth the abuse to use my service contract. I can only hope the repair person has better people skills.
New Dishwasher, wouldnt work. Was told by Samsung, my appointment was a certain day. Didnt hear anything from them. Called at 4:45 pm the day before. Oppps you are not on our list. Guess it will be another day.Not good customer service. Service guy came out said he didnt see anything wrong with the machine. First full cycle...leaked all over. having the whole machine replaced by Samsung.. So much for nothing wrong with it..
Brought a broken tv to this store to assess for repair. Was told over phone and when dropped off that it would take about 2 days. 4 business days later I called to ask what the situation was. The person on the phone said it hadnt been looked at and would be in he next one to two days. I explained that I was told 2 days when I dropped it off. The employee was very rude over the phone and offered no explanation. I went to the store to retrieve my tv and get a refund. The pleasant owner explained that they only have a tv repair person there one day a week and that is why it hadnt been looked at. If I had been told this when I dropped it off I wouldnt have been so annoyed with the wait. Customer service very poor.
Awful service. We have an LG fridge that we bought at lowes. This is the ONLY company that is in the area to fix it. Lowes contacted them to come and fix it, and Electronic Hospital informed lowes that they would fix it, then tells us and NOT lowes they cant. IT SHOULDNT TAKE 3 DAYS TO FIGURE OUT IF YOU CAN DRIVE 30 MINUTES TO FIX A FRIDGE!!! Very disatisfied!!!
These folks are amazing!!! Highly recommend.
Only place around. Good service though.
I found the responsiveness to be timely and courteous.
We have received service a few times from the Electronics Hospital and have always had a good experience for appliances both under and out of warranty. After our very new refrigerator stopped cooling, we went through the manufacturer to schedule service and one of EHs techs came out the very next day. He was nice and courteous (and even took off his shoes - which can be a big deal in VT depending on the season). Ultimately one of the doors needed to be replaced due to a faulty seal and they came back and did the service as soon as the new door arrived.Today, after having issues with our 7 year old washer for the last 48 hours, we called EH. With a household of five, we do a lot of laundry and were worried about being without a washer. When we called, they took down the washer info and told us they werent sure if when they could come out but would let us know. 45 minutes later they called back and not only did they come out on the same day but they also replaced the faulty pump (no wait for parts)! We have already finished four loads of laundry this evening thanks to Electronics Hospital. We wont hesitate to call them again if needed.
Good customer service, on time, job done!
Girlfriend got a visit from oneof their tech. Worst service ever. Home depot should not hire these people to service appliances they sell. Even added parts changed when appliance was never opened.
