Unacceptable and strange approach to the sale of some products in that store. Did you know that not all products are laid out on the shelves !!! It turns out that there are goods only for friends !!! Especially rare and not always available goods - some rare liquors for example. If you know who to ask - the manager or his assistant, they will get you out of the back room! And if you do not know, then you will never buy! These items will always be out of stock for you !!!

Obviously had too many people to take care of to miss putting things in my bag...Actually they were too busy talking to one another instead of doing their job. Very lazy staff!!! I hate going in Jewel when there are so many other options these days.

Wow. Fancy. Amazing how many extra options and items are available in affluent neighborhoods. There was even baggers at every lane and enough cashiers. My local Jewel in Chicago is nothing like that.

Showed up late at night and every employee guided me to the products that I was trying find and all actually sent me to the right aisle. Some of them actually asked if there was anything else on my list they could help me find. Staff was jovial and demonstrated a true willingness to help. It was the best experience that Ive ever had at a Jewel-Osco.

Its a grocery store. Every thing is clean and organized. People are nice and quick.

This place is pretty bad. Cramped space that has not been updated in years, really rude employees, and error prone auto checkouts. Never shopping there again. Too bad there isnt a Marianos closer.

It’s a small jewl, but they have their deli, hot bar, butcher, and all they typical things you would find at a jewl. They place has a more leisure pace than the bigger grocery stores.

OK shopping experience for the basics. Some things I used to buy there are no longer available but are stocked in other Jewel locations (Plaza del Lago, Chicago Ave) - irritating. They were rearranging the store the last time I was there, so now I wont know where anything is for a time (maybe it will be better).

A pretty standard fairly large, well stocked grocery store. Clean and w good service. They have recently removed the ridiculous arrows on the floors indicating mandatory traffic direction that many ignored the whole time they were there 🙃. I need to find a mask that is a sheeps face. 🙄

The cashiers are slow and so are the baggers they spend more time talking then actually trying to ring up the stuff and bagging it. Most of the times we ended up helping the bagger bag and still ended bagging more then them, because they are to busy talking to the cashier or just a random employee.

Had to bag my own groceries. Checker was slow. Waited in line for 15 minutes because checker had to talk about scotch tape with woman in front of me. Then checker wouldn’t give me my receipt even though I was in a hurry.

Jewel is going downhill. I have stopped shopping there. The produce is not good. Selection for health conscious individuals is limited. They need an update. The staff I know are friendly and do excellent customer service, only b/c I am kind and acknowledge how overworked they are. I hope Jewel can step up to Marianos quality which is better and more affordable.

Great place to get some quality goods. Mixed cultures everywhere you walk around the store. Also a amazing place to go pick up some boba as you stroll around looking for your goods.

The store manager will respond to any call, pleasantly, reasonably, and professionally.The department workers are friendly and fast.I enjoy the fresh foods, produce and meat, and the aisles are easily navigated.

Jewel-Osco did not have any beef sausage. Ive been to sample Jewel-Osco and no beef sausage its only two pork and turkey

Went to Jewel today. If the store knows people are hoarding, why would you only have 5 checkers??????? Customers told me they waited 1 1/2 hours to check out. They told me I would have to get in the back of the line in isle 1. When I looked down isle 1 it had people lined up all the way to the meat department.This is a Wilmette store!!!!! What is wrong with the management? Why only 5 checkers?Went to Whole Foods to buy my meats. Was in and out in 15 minutes!!!Will not spend my hard earned money in Jewel ever again.

The prices are great their produce is always good,not to mention every staff seems to always be courteous and happy.

Drew us in with sale, and did not have. Then we were overcharged at register. This Jewel (Green bay Road) is awful. They never gave sale items, employees are poorly trained and rude. (Avoid)

Jewel on Green Bay Road. Store is dated but OK. Checkout experience is consistently unacceptably slow and checkout staff are really, really rude. 20 minutes today for 2 people to scan and bag around 30 items.

Good prices still not the best produce.

I shopped for the first time in 6 weeks and was appalled at the condition of this store. The staff frequently block aisles or parks supplies in front of food and will not move to allow customers to reach needed items. Staff at deli counter wore mask half down allowing full view of his nose. He wore plastic gloves which he used to touch everything behind the counter including tossing around the turkey. Many hired shoppers walked around with masks half off and blocked aisles as they read their phones. No hand sanitizers are available once in the store. One way markers on the floor are not followed. At the checkout, the first thing I noticed was that the two baggers wore masks that exposed their noses and did not seem to understand why I suggested they pull them up. I gave feedback to customer service which was closed, but saw a worker nearby wearing a red bandanna who said she could help. I was trying to explain to her the lack of caution or reinforcement of standards for the staff. Bottom line is there is no real management oversite or reinforcement. I would not even order for delvery as I cannot imagine things improve when groceries are collected for delivery.

Like I said before its a store that is convenient for me. Ive been to other stores that have better prices. Sometimes when time is an issue, its best to go for convenience instead of eating out. Its definitely cheaper.

Diane von der Heide, where are you hiding ? You are never seen on the floor and therefore unapproachable.. Your predecessor, a gentleman who’s name I do not remember, was always around, greeting customers, answering questions, showing that he cared. As a result of your absence the shelfs are not stocked properly, missing essentials like Bonne Maman jams, Original Cream of Wheat, Wet Ones, diverse Spice Island spices,etc. Your store does not offer delivery and/or pickup and there’s no mention of that on the Jewel/Osco website. Customers start ordering, just to find out at the end, when payment method is asked, that your store does not offer that service.And that’s not right !! More leadership would be appreciated.

Good place to shop for groceries. Nice selection and fair prices. I also especially like that they hire some persons with disabilities. I think it is important to patronize businesses that support that community.

Well stocked store and friendly staff

Small with a more limited selection, and in busier times can be difficult to negotiate the narrow aisles. Still, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I typically pick this jewel over the one in Skokie because its way more efficient and just a much more pleasant shopping experience overall.

This Jewel Osco is in Wilmette, its much nicer than the one back home. Had to find things differently but it was enjoyable shopping.

I lived close to this store for 30 years. I shopped there often and especially liked their meat department. It was always clean and neat.

Small, manageable grocery store. If you need a circus atmosphere, this is not the place and you need to go to Marianos. There are workers typically in every aisle which are eager to help you find what you are needing.

OK Big Store. Use Jewel for stock-up items and weekly/daily specials. Useful for families.Note: Ridiculous price/quality ratio on produce, meat and deli. Hit the smaller locals for those items - using the gas youll save at Shell stations from Jewels excellent MyMixx club.Dont misunderstand -- Im there multiple times per week, but Im a rabid bargain hunter and only buy among their many sale items whenever possible.

Convenient and has everything you would expect at a grocery store. Prices are a bit high. Other stores have better selection and bakeries... but again its close, and you know it will have what you need.

Bad store. Go there only if you have to. I bought concord grapes which were unrecognizable as concord grapes: grainy, pasty, brittle, skin no flavor. I have never had such awful fruit. I bought raspberries on sale and they were nothing but compost: moldy. Selection is poor, prices are higher than other Jewels, customer service reflects a negative culture.

Truly going downhill. Enormous out of stocks, week on week. Peak trading time and no one helps back bags for the elderly so the average wait to even get groceries scanned is 15mins. Only 3 registers open and the line ups go back down the aisles. Total time waste unless you like spending 2 hours to buy 3 bags of groceries.

This is the Jewel and grocery store closest to my house. I still avoid going to this one if I have time to go somewhere else. The selection is narrow and they keep moving things around. It is hard to find even my most frequently purchased items. I dont understand why they dont carry Ben & Jerrys frozen yogurt. Shop elsewhere if you can.
