I cant understand how they are still in business. I took my Can Am in for service, telling them what it needed, Was told no problem. They never called, I called and drove there several times to check on progress and was told they couldnt locate the parts. After 3 months and talking to several different service managers(different one each time) I told them I would just pick it up and bring it back if they got the parts since it had been stored outside all summer. The day before I was going to pick it up, I finally got a call. They asked if I wanted to pay for the labor so when the parts came in they could just get them on. NOPE. When I arrived to get my machine, all of a sudden they had the majority of the parts in stock and wanted me to pay for those. If they had those already, why didnt the already have them on? The charged a diagnostic fee and then proceeded to charge me a restocking fee for parts I never got. This place is a joke. They have no inventory and tons of machines waiting in service. If they continue to run that department they the way they are, I cant imagine them being around much longer.

This location is phenomenal, the easiest and fastest sales experience ever. I called over 30 dealerships for an hard to find Can-Am and this location had one I was able to reserve . Justin was my salesman and this guy is amazing. I was able to reserve and pick my bike up, assembled, and clean. No bs, no hidden numbers. Justin is the man!!!The finance guy should smile a bit and match the excitement but i get it its 9-5 job.

Buyer beware! Do your homework they mark up in my assessment between 30-40% on MSRP. There are better deals out there if your willing to drive a few hours. But the parts and service department is good, they answer all questions and help you find the right add-on for your craft.

We called and asked the service department if they could take a look at our UTV, we told them we think it is the starter. We were told they would take a look at it first thing the next morning so we dropped it off that afternoon and said we use this for business and need it back as soon as possible. The next day (Friday) we did not hear back so we called and they told us they didnt get a chance to look at it and they would do it Saturday. Still no call on Saturday so we called around lunch, said they were just getting ready to look at it and they close at 3. They did not call us back so we called first thing Monday morning, they are closed on Mondays, but did not let us know. No call on Tuesday either so we called them. Finally Tuesday afternoon they said it was the starter and they would have to order the part, but would be here before the end of the week and it would be ready. It was not ready and took about another week before we could pick it up and then charged over $900 to replace a starter. Lousy Service and outrageous prices. We called around afterward and found we were extremely overcharged. Not going back.

“Bought” a seadoo jetski. Financing was through my mother in law which lives six hours away. I was told it would be ready for pickup today. They even called and asked what time I was coming. I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me. I was 20 minutes from the dealer when they called at the last minute and said that my mother in law had to be there and physically sign the paperwork even though they sent it to her for her signature. Needless to say I wasted two hours driving for nothing. Salesman is very hard to get ahold of. I would not recommend doing business with them.

I bought a Polaris 570 sportsman and a ace 150, I love the machines. Service is pretty good. I wish they would follow up more with buyers on maintenance to keep the ATV top notch. I dont remember my salesman talking to much about the warranty or maintenance programs.

The worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership of any sort. They dont pick up the phone, they dont call you back, they dont do their job. Ive been waiting for months to pick up my new machine but I cant get any information on whats going on. A buddy took his rzr in to get worked on in the service dept and it took them 2 months to figure out how to reset a sensor. Also, wouldnt call him back or let him know what was going on. Honestly this place has been a waste of my time.

Absolutely horrible service. Put a deposit to have something ordered. was promised it would be here within 2-3 weeks. Now the birthday is 8 days away and we called to check or pick up and was told it hadnt even shipped and they have NO CLUE when it will be delivered. Wouldnt even have known if we didnt call. Then tried to sell us a different product.... horrible service. this is the SECOND experience within 1 year that has been horrible. New owner is not doing justice. will never bring my business here again. would give 0 stars is possible.

Would like to share my experience with Wilmington power sports and the salesman Damien. Called several times no return call. Emailed. No returns. Went in person. Damien was not knowledgeable nor helpful. Attempted to buy a jetski. The owner Matt? Has increased the price over what it is normally because they are selling well, ok whatever. Furthermore they will not include the necessities with the ski. It’s an extra $500 for a package of a whistle and cover and fire extinguisher. Things I can get on eBay for a total of $120. These things should be included. Raised the price an extra $2500. Everyone here seems to care very little about helping you and all about the money. When I get the final sales price they added on an extra $1,000 delivery fee. Really????? Overall I hated this place. I’ll never be back and I wouldn’t care if they cut their prices in 1/2 I’ll spend my money in South Carolina where they treat the customer like a human being and not another dollar.

I am having some work done on my 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan and Witt was very courteous on the phone and knowledgeable on all my questions. They didnt try to make me purchase any new parts that were not necessary and for that I am greatly satisfied with there service department. The front brake caliper was seized up and rather them just telling me they had to install they were able to maintenance and do the minimal and meaning not that it is not repaired correctly or unsafe it just shows me they are not just part changers they went above and beyond to save me money. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs to have there machine serviced. And key details was before they went ahead and did any work they evaluate the situation and call you to authorize any work to be done very professional. Thanks again Witt for being honest/professional/and taking care of my service needs on my motorcycle 🏍.

Consider carefully before attempting to do business with this store. I sadly write this review. Here are the specifics: 8 weeks ago I booked a vacation home in Carolina Beach for October 10 to 16. I have owned and loved twin 2003 Yamaha XL 700s for 18 seasons. I thought it might be time to get new ones. I live in Kansas. I reached out to Wilmington Power Sports 3 weeks ago, telling them specifically that if they could deliver a replacement by October 10th, I would buy from them. They promised they could deliver. I submitted an application, gave them a $500 deposit, and agreed to pick up my new ski on October 10th. When they confirmed we are all set, then and only then did I sell my old skis, which I did on October 3rd. On October 6th, I was thrilled to get a text from the sales rep confirming my new ski had arrived. However, when I reached back to the sales rep to ask for the haul number to buy insurance, he told me they had elected to sell my ski to somone else but that I neednt worry because they would have a new one in by the 9th for the 10th delivery. I live 19 hours drive from Wilmington. I confirmed on the 8th that my ski would be there on the 9th for the 10th and received a thumbs up text reply from the sales rep. However, on the 9th, after I had already taken an extra day off work to drive the 19th hours, the sales rep texted me at 6:00 PM to tell me there was no ski, blaming the factory rep for misrepresentation. I arrived as planned. I stood up to my word. This dealership did not stand up to their word. They did tell me I could have a ski on the 16th, which is the day I leave town. I have now rented a place at Carolina beach for a week on the water with a dock. I have my empty trailer with me, but no ski to ride--a total waste and tremendous disappointment. If the dealership had been honest, I would not have taken an extra day off work, would not have paid for a hotel in Knoxville, and would not have paid extra to rent a dock on the intercoastal waterway. They have my money--I have nothing. Here is the lesson: do not take as fact what this dealership says. Do not make choices on promises made by this dealership. Wilmington Power Sports does not live up to their promises--know that going in. BTW, I am the former GSM of a large car dealership and have been in auto for my career. Any reputable dealership, if they misrepresented facts, would have given a loaner until they made right-they already have my money and my commitment! I was told, sorry, that is not our policy. It is no longer my policy to work this sort of entity. I am very sad to be here in Carolina with nothing to ride yet I spent weeks planning and paying to assure that was not the case.

I dont think these guys want to sell motorcycles. Ive dealt with dealerships that did and typically the process is that they want to give you a good/great deal without twisting your arm, while they move product and profit. The long play. Not these guys. They want to play the short game. Meaning a couple grand below blue book value for your trade (so they can make additional profit there). Obnoxiously high dealer fees (i.e. doc, shipment, crate) outside of the mandatory state regulated ones (i.e. Tax/Title) so they can pinch more dollars there. And none of this is accounting for how incredibly lazy and paranoid theyre owners regulations are (Im assuming from being burned a long time ago by a bad deal).They dont keep their online inventory updated regularly. So if you see a bike on their website you want chances are its not in stock. Salesmans excuse for this is that their website cant keep up with how quickly they move stock. Really? I dont recall your products cracking open a Red Bull, sprouting wings, and flying out the front door at lightning speeds. Showroom looked pretty empty of customers the few times I was there. As does the parking lot that I pass daily on commutes. If you want to trade a vehicle in they apparently need one of their techs to spend an entire day with the vehicle (no doubt to fish for mechanical issues to further pinch money from you with later in the deal....assuming you even get that far with them). Ive never heard of a dealership needing an entire day to test a pre-owned anything to check to make sure its mechanically sound. Average dealership takes about 15-30 mins with your bike. Goes through a check list and test rides if they need to. Not these guys. And the salesmans excuse for this is that their techs are swamped. Ok if thats the case. Do I get a day with the vehicle your trying to sell me to make sure its mechanically sound? Maybe your techs were so busy they made a mistake assembling and prepping the vehicle? I doubt theyd do the same for me.No, unfortunately this dealership falls into the common trap around Wilmington with some business of the demand being higher than the supply. And because of this Wilmington Powersports is not in the business of selling you a motorcycle and growing theyre footprint. Theyre in the business of making a quick buck from ripping you off so that they can make as much money as they can before their business tanks. Which at this rate looks to be sooner rather than later.If your looking for a great sales experience Lejeune Motorsports is awesome for that. Id given them my business again in this scenario but they dont carry the vehicle Im looking for. Honda of Wilmington is ok, albeit theyre showroom is a little dated. Will be trying Redline Powersports this weekend in Myrtle. Fingers crossed!

I bought a Spyder from Wilmington Powersports 4 years ago. Shortly after they stopped selling Spyders. Then they stopped servicing be them. Now they are a Ryker dealer but still do not service Spyders. Buy at your own risk and if you do have a backup plan for service

I paid to have my Sea Doo skis serviced in the spring and they tried to charge double the original price agreed to. After argument they did lower bill. They are very rude and very slow. I later called about another problem with my skis and was told they dont work on older skis. I need to go somewhere else. They are 2005. Good idea. I will go somewhere else for now on. BTW. Good luck getting an price on a part over the phone. They always want to call you back but never do. Terrible service.

I bought two Sea Doo skis and I am very happy with them. The salesman was great(Damien). He was very helpful and kept me from buying the wrong ski. I planned to buy two smaller ones and he suggested one bigger one for me and my wife to be comfy and a smaller one for the kids. He was absolutely right. Worked out great. All staff was very friendly and it was a great experience. I previously left a bad review about a situation I had a year ago and this more than made up for that. Im very happy and recommend Wilmington powersports to all other buyers.

I got tired of being burned by the service department in Myrtle Beach so I figured I would give these guys a try. BIG MISTAKE. $552 for my oil change and 2 headlights installed. An oil change kit is $78 and they charged double by breaking it down.. They charge more labor time and Jack the bill up. NO, I do NOT recommend this place.

I bought jet ski here and wish I hadnt. They held onto my check for 15 days before cashing it, unfortunately it bounced and they immediately threatened to call the police on me despite me showing them I had sufficient funds and would pay them. There management is no good and clearly puts a lot of pressure on there sales men. I would suggest anyone interested in a jet ski go to a business more willing to communicate ( other than text) with there customers when they have s problem

Recently purchased 2 Yamaha wave runners,very satisfied with the toys but not so much with the staff.I felt very deceived in the financial transaction as in no one ever mentioned a $998 freight and setup fee,I did not pay it on the first ski I purchased from them so I assumed it would not be charged on my second purchase—wrong!!They tout themselves as being a “High volume “ dealer,high for sure!I called several times trying to speak with the owner,Matt,but of course he is never there or doesn’t care enough to return my calls. First I’ll start by saying Wilmington Powersports has well overcome my higher expectations and needs from sales, to parts, to service. I get all my parts for all my toys at a great price, hassel free. Living a couple hours away I easily pass quite a few Polaris dealers because I just can’t get these prices with the best of service anywhere else! Brandon is my go to guy in parts with his years of Powersports experience and product knowledge he always makes sure I save money and find all the parts I need!

Im not sure what these people are talking about with the negative reviews....they must have gone to a different place than I did. The people at wilm powersports were awesome to me. I have 2 2007 Yamaha wave runners that needed some serious work and they were more than happy to take them on. They gave me a estimate for the work and when I picked them up (way faster than I thought during the busy season) the cost was way below the estimate...I thought they must have only charged me for one. But no, it was for both. The work was top notch and I even got to talk to the mechanic who worked on them and he told me to watch out for things that were fine now but may need attention at a later date. The skis run awesome and I couldnt be happier with the service I received. A++ mechanical work and customer service. Highly recommend. Will do business with them again

For the last three years I have purchased everything I can related to my dirt bikes and riding gear from Wilmington PowerSports. I have been to many shops, but never experienced a high level of quality and service until I found this shop.I have never purchased a vehicle from WPS, and still get treated like a VIP. The pricing is competitive, the quality of service and products is excellent. They always time as much time as necessary to answer my questions, and even give me advice on working on my own vehicles.Its hard to believe some of the negative reviews. I can only imagine that some of these people are unreasonable. I have found them to be nothing but a well run shop with a very professional staff.I wouldnt shop anywhere else!

The worst!!! They had my ski for two months. Totally ripped me off for the repair (over $700.00)I got the ski back after its supposed full service and it would not start. (dead battery) I finally get it running and 15 minutes later I broke down again in the ocean. I took the ski to a different dealer they where able to get Seadoo to cover the repairs under warranty because the repairs Wilmington power sports where done incorrectly. So Im happy with Seadoo but would never deal with Wilmington Power Sports again and you shouldnt either.

**Update** After I posted my review on facebook they called and said they would not service the Polaris that I purchased from them for $14000.00.When I went to pick it up I had a video rolling on my phone . The salesperson that I purchased it from said they were going to charge me for cleaning because it had mod all over the filter and drain plugs. I asked him to show me this and I took a video of us looking at it. There was no mud on the filter or the drain plugs. They just didnt want to take the time to clean it at all. Even when I said I would pay the $75. I also have the salesperson on video stating that they could not longer service it because I posted a bad review on Facebook.I guess they only allow good reviews . I guess I should have purchased a Yamaha**Update- They called me after I got to work and said that now it would be $100 to clean it. I guess since I decided not to buy the accessories they are charging more to clean it.These are real stand up guys!The Sales department was great when I bought my new 2015 Polaris Ranger 4 door . I took it back today to get the first service. I spent an hour inside order $1000 worth of accessories and when i went to unload it from my truck one of the members of the service department told me that i need to take it and clean it at the car wash. I explained to him that i had cleaned the front end and motor but i was running late for work. He said that it wasnt clean enough and that they were going to charge me $75 to finish cleaning the mud off of it. $75 to wash the mud off with a water hose for a customer that just spent $15000 with them?.This is not a BMW dealership! It is an ATV service center. ATVs get muddy.Yes I did not clean it entirely and I told the service writer when I was writing it up that they would have had to clean underneath the back end . I thought they may charge me $20 or so but not $75 to wash it off. That it ridiculous .I asked them to only do the recommended service and cancel the accessories. I hope the $75 they charge me for cleaning it is worth losing the money I would have spent with them.Make sure you clean your ATV before taking it to Wilmington Power Sports.

I called them to see if they could program a key for my Seadoo, that I just purchased used. Keep in mind they sell new Seadoos. They guy on the phone said yes, it my take a couple of hours, I sdid thats fine. I drove over an hour to get there. When I arrived, the guy asked, what year model I said 2002. His response was, they aint trying to work on 2002s or 2 strokes. I told him the key issue, a reverse cable, and changing plugs should have nothing to do with engine work( its external in case they are reading), he said he would double check with the guys in back, and confirmed they would NOT work on my skis. I have wasted the last of my time their, I hope you dont waste yours.
