Professional, fast, and friendly service. In a nicer part of town, some of the other collision and car rental places are in the hood. No thanks.They conveniently have an Enterprise car rental office in the same building. Laura was a pleasure to work with.Make sure you dont pass it, its right before the Walmart shopping center. Would definitely go back there again if we needed their services. Plus they warranty all their work and give you guidelines to keep you paint job fresh

Kind and professional people work here. Had 3 cars repaired by them. The most recent I needed to wait for an available tech due to how busy they were. I was more than willing to wait because I KNOW they do good work and stand behind it as well. Once I got my car back it was if the damage was never there. If I need another repair they are the first place I’d go to

Someone hit and run my BMW X6 and I was calling all over town to find a BMW Certified shop that was covered through USAA insurance. Every collision shop I contacted were backed up months out, however, when I called Gerber Collision their team was very accommodating. They were able to get my vehicle within 2 weeks and between Susie, Melissa and Siera, they were awesome! They had excellent communication, were polite and very personable.I read several comments with frustration about the repair shop pushing out the date of completion and the lack of communication. This was NOT my experience AT ALL! My experience was completely opposite. Their team answered the phone each time I called, answered my questions thoroughly, and communicated everything step of the process. My car, like many was delayed in repair however, it was due to the parts and shipment being delayed. With COVID changing the day to day livelihood of the country, I understood that this was completely out of their control. Nonetheless, I love the work they did on my car and I appreciate their above and beyond customer service. My experience with Gerber Collision and I highly recommend their shop.

I was able to get an appointment to drop off my car for body repair right away. I received updates via text and customer service calls regularly. The estimated time for repairs were spot on. I have nothing to say but good things about Gerber and will definitely go back and recommend them.

BEWARE!!! SIerra and Troy are the most unprofessional in the body shop industry. They lied to me and out my daughters safety at risk. You are better off not dealing with them and letting everyone in Wilmington NC know this shop is a hoax!!!

They just dont care!!! The woman who rules the front desk has a serious attitude problem. She seems to think that Gerber works for the insurance company rather the customer. Estimates were inconsistent. One rate for claims and another for private work. Even though the repair was a small fender dent, she wanted to keep the car for a week and even then wouldnt commit to completing the repair. I went to two other shops, and both had lower rates and better service on both the insurance claim and the private work. Nationwide is losing money with these guys.UPDATE: No one tried to contact me.

Had two fender benders this year. Gerber repaired (perfectly) both situations quickly, expertly and well within the timeframe provided. They even cleaned my car inside and out. You would never know there had been any damage. The staff was exceptionally curteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would recommend Gerber without hesitation.

Fantastic staff. I emailed in about an issue with a past repair to my car. Seirra looked into it and was able to help me out. The staff went above and beyond. If I am ever in need of your services again hope not ;) this will be the first auto body repair shop I call. Thank you again for your help.

So far, so good! They replaced and painted my front bumper in about 30 hours. The work looks great, good customer service and very convenient to have a rental car agency in house. They detailed my car and put air in a low tire as well. Id go back.

Great experience working with Gerber Collision! They did a wonderful job in repairing my vehicle after I had been in an accident, making it look as good as new. The staff was professional and very communicative throughout the process. They worked with us to get it done ahead of schedule as we were going out of town a day prior - great customer service! Fantastic auto repair business. Easy to work with, friendly people and best of all, they have a small area inside where Enterprise Rent-a-car operates. It makes for a smooth transition then your vehicle needs body work and you need a rental car to drive. 5 stars all around!!

They give estimated completion updates when they are fully aware that they don’t have the parts necessary to complete the job. My truck has been there for two months now, and THREE estimated completion dates have passed. I’m under the impression that they are not taking the fixing of my car seriously. If you’re looking for efficiency, this isn’t your place.

Excellent service! Excellent work! Very friendly and helpful staff. I was very happy with the work done on my car and it only took a week for repairs. The process was simple and easy. The text message service notifying me of my vehicle’s process was also very helpful and accurate. I would definitely recommend. Thank you guys for making a stressful incident less stressful.

Text updates are an utter joke. They can’t get it together, and when you ask them what the hold up is, they make the excuse of “it’s a massive job.” Well sorry for assuming that your organization and the people you hire are competent enough to handle collision jobs.. considering that you’re a collision repair center. If you’re looking for efficiency don’t come here.

If you are searching for the most efficient car fix, best service, and quality workmanship- go with Gerber Collision & Glass!! I could not decide who to send my car to as all the reviews and prices seemed the same, but I ended up going with this wonderful company and I am SO GLAD! I was involved in a hit and run and they had to replace a lot of parts; it was finished in a timely and professional manner. My car sparkled better than when I bought it and it was clear they spent time and effort on it. (And not just on my repair, but the cleaning!) I also am getting married soon so I had a very crazy summer and they worked with me and my ridiculous schedule nonstop! Everyone is kind and makes you feel important and like your car is their own. I highly recommend them!!!

Worst place ever!!! Do not take your car there! Extremely fraudulent. They have had my car for 3 weeks and stated this morning on the day that it was due back to me that it was going to be another week because they found more wrong with it. They kept my car for one week before they ever started working on it. The insurance quoted us 8-9 days and it has been 15 and will be 20 days before they return it to me. Horrible customer service! They have yet to return my call from this morning! Have offered zero explanation as to what is taking so long! I wish I had never ever taken it there! My insurance has been notified and the BBB is next! Save yourself the headache! Do not take your car here ever!!!!

I was rear-ended and my vehicle sustained some pretty significant damage to the rear hatch, back window and rear quarter panels. The other drivers insurance agency (USAA) partners with Gerber, so after some initial research, I decided to move forward with them as the repair shop.They finished the repairs to my car nearly a week ahead of schedule, keeping me posted by phone and text at regular intervals on the progress. I picked up the vehicle and they helped me look over the repairs and made efforts to ensure I was pleased with the results.About a week later, I realized that the rear passenger window would not work, so I called them up. Their receptionist was very kind, and encouraged me to bring the car by and that they would take care of it right away. Ive been very pleased with the work theyve done and frankly, my car looks a bit better than it did before the accident!

Terrible experience. They quoted me a 4-day job to fix a door that ended up taking 3 weeks. The text updates were a joke. The new molding started falling off the side of my car while on the freeway. The grill on the front was burnt and melted from the heat lamps that dried the paint. They would’nt fix either the grill or the molding and said the grill was damaged because I parked to close to a b-b-q grill. Ridiculous. The owners are a married couple named Hardin, who couldn’t be more rude or condescending. No customer service here, go anywhere else!

Without a doubt, the worst experience Ive ever had with a body shop! We hit a deer with our brand new car, and our insurance company sent us here. If you have the option, tell them you dont want to go here... First of all, it took about 4 attempts (and a month) to pick up our car because every single time we came to pick it up they had overlooked something that needed to be fixed. Oddly enough the service intake person told us when it was ready they would have it vacuumed out for us and washed--he got fired and that never happened. We also had to call them more than once to ask if it was ready, because they told us to pick it up on x date, and we never heard anything from them on that day. The hood wasnt aligned properly one time, the o-ring in the parking sensors was twisted (and when we pointed this out the repairman said, oh, you have a good eye!....well, isnt he supposed to be the one to notice if something wasnt fixed properly?), they also completely missed fixing a scratch on the hood. I could go on and on. When I got into my car on the 2nd time I went to pick it up, it smelled like cheap air freshener--which they blamed Audi for doing. Even the receptionist said the car smelled terrible. When you buy a brand new car, you expect the new car smell to still be there when you pick it up. Gerber blamed the smell on Audi, who they took the car to for re-alignment. Well, we went to Audi and asked them about it, and they showed us the receipt, the bodyshop hadnt even taken it there for an alignment--they went there to get the parking sensors reset. Audi also informed us that when it arrived it smelled awful. So Gerber lied to us, twice! Gerber also threw away a cover for my iMac that was in the trunk...that I asked if I could leave in the trunk and they told me I could and no one would mess with it. SO, basically, dont take you car here if 1. you want it fixed properly, 2. you want it to be the same inside as when you dropped it off and 3. you dont want to be lied to in the process and have an iMac cover taken from you. We took it to Jeff Gordon because we refused to deal with Gerber anymore at this point, and the manager at Jeff Gordon fixed everything for us correctly, and with a smile. One of the things Jeff Gordon had to fix was a deep scratch put into my leather steering wheel while my car was at Gerber... I recommend Jeff Gordon in Wilmington.
