Process was long. However, my salesman Alec Volkmann was great! I went in wanting to only spend a certain amount. As a salesman he did his job and got me a little outside of my price range but for a car that I enjoy and can enjoy for some time to come. It was within all my criteria standards other than the price. It wasn’t too much outside though so the deal was made and I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Impala. He was polite and helped me through any questions and concerns I had. Overall it was worth my time.

Just bought a Tahoe from Collin and Alec this weekend. Collin was super nice and helpful in showing me many options available on the lot on Friday. Due to personal schedule I had to return to dealership on Saturday. When I returned on Saturday, Collin was busy with another customer(good for him), but Alec stepped right in and helped me find the perfect car. Alec was very knowledgeable about the Tahoes and very professionally helped me find the perfect one. I brought my family along and he was super attentive to them ensuring to address their wishes for our family car as well. Collin stopped by several times during my purchase process to say hello and thank me for returning. Both of these gentlemen were very easy to work with and expressed superior customer service without being too pushy. I was scheduled for a 7:10am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. not sure why this service takes two hours but my vehicle was not available until 9am. this morning I noticed that two tires that were show slightly low yesterday had not been aired up during the service. Makes me wonder what else has been neglected. Will not be back. For the same or less $$$$ I can go somewhere that doesnt consume two hours of my day for an oil change.

I have always believed in Jeff Gordon Chevrolet Maintenance Department which usually gets it right the first time.I had a battery that had been replaced and the technicians did not replace the battery cover. I had to locate a technician to have someone to put in place.I had issues with my tires and had weights placed on them for balancing. I drove approximately 30 minutes away from the maintenance shop and the tire sensor went off. I had to return to the maintenance shop for the technician to check the air pressure and reset the sensor.

Unlike many dealers, Jeff Gordon Chevrolet did not charge a premium for the scarce Corvette C8. Their deposit requirement was also quite reasonable. AJ Gillikin, my salesman did an excellent job of keeping me posted on the progress of my order and was careful not to promise anything he couldnt be sure of.The final pick up of the car was the usual dealer hassle of having to endure various sales pitches by the finance manager before I could finally write my check and drive off in the car. Its too bad that the new car sales process has been made so easy but getting out of the finance office is a PITA.On the whole, though, I was quite pleased with the Jeff Gordon Chevrolet experience.

So, the personnel experience was very pleasant but your vehicle selection wasnt quite what I thought it should . If you had had a larger truck and something more to my taste I probably would have bought it. But since you only have a selection of four-door trucks then that wasnt an option. Not everyone wants a four-door vehicle. So you lost out on a larger deal.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, so a pretty standard service. After being there for an hour and 45 minutes I finally asked someone and it was an additional 10 minutes until my car was ready. It should in no way take 2 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant and apologetic. If he, or anyone, had been upfront about the delay or sought me out at an hour into the appointment it would have gone a long way. I wasnt in a hurry but I also dont like being made to feel like my time isnt important.

This car lot has gone down hill fast. My husband and I have purchased three vehicles from them. The first two were new and the other was used.We started having issue with the service department. My husband purchased a 2018 Chevy Express brand new off the lot. My husband had been having issue with the van shaking during stopping. He asked them to look at his brakes and rotors. They said nothing was wrong with them and they couldnt recreate the problem. I believe he had to take it in atleast three times before they came to the conclusion that the rotors were warped. So they turned them and it solved the issue. This was just one issue we had. We have had other problems were the service guys leave screws in the floor with sockets. They never put back things the way they are suppose to. They left the carpet untucked in one area near the dog house. They also caused cuts in our tint. Which they are unwilling to pay to have fixed. They dont care about your vehicles or making things right when clearly its there fault. Our service guy is Bill and I cant stand him. He never gets back to you or answers the phone. Hes also really good at lying. Bills the type of guy to smile and be friendly but is quick to run to the back to tell the boys how he couldnt stand dealing with you. We were given Christin for a while because Bill was out. Christin always went above to help.Next issue was with the used car lot side. We purchased a used vehicle. We had it two months and had our first oil change. The service department was unable to rotate the tires because they said the lug nuts were cracking and swollen.Which you would of thought they would of caught during the safety inspection that was suppose to be done to the car before they sold it. I also asked them to check the alignment because the car pulled when braking. Which they couldnt do either. Since the car was a Dodge product they sent us across the street. We had to make an appointment for them to possibly fix it under warranty the lug nuts and check the alignment. The shop foreman went over the car and discovered the front drivers tire was rubbing and it appeared to have front end damages. So they sent us back to Jeff Gordon to see what they wanted to do about fixing it. Basicly they tried blaming the damage on us and refused to pay to have the car fixed. I did scuff the rim on a curb downtown which they used to justify the damage underneath the car. The scuff happened on the passenger side and would not account for the drivers side which was rubbing. Jake Teets said that scuffing a rim can cause the entire alignment to be off. They found any little mark they could on this used car to place the blame on us. If we ran over a curb as low as that car sat you would know it. We will not buy another vehicle from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet again. Our warranty is almost over for our van and we will be glad for our business together to be over. I highly recommend for people to go elsewhere to buy a vehicle or have services done to their vehicle.

Just wanted to share my experience when I was shopping for a new truck at Jeff Gordon Chevrolet. I have had my eye on a new truck for the past 2 months or so and I knew it would be tough to find one in the current chip shortage. I live in Raleigh and had visited 2 dealerships up there. The first one, which was one of the bigger dealerships around had a truck that was in transit. I sat down with the salesman and started to talk about purchasing it, had everything worked out with my trade in and told them that my father had retired from GM and that I had an authorization number for the employee price. The sales manager smirked at me and told me that they will not be honoring the discount and that no dealerships would. Needless to say I walked out. I noticed that Jeff Gordon had a truck that was also in transit and after confirming it was available I proceeded to head down to Wilmington. When I pulled in, Darin Chrisawn introduced himself and said they truck actually just arrived and was unloaded. He walked me around the truck demonstrating the features and we went to test drive it. Once we got back we went in and worked out a price that included the GM employee price that the dealership in Raleigh said no one was accepting. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with even though we didn’t leave the dealership until 9ish. My wife and I gave Jason Nicholas in the finance department a hard time and he was a good sport about everything as well. The service staff was cordial and the service was quick for the recall on my vehicle. I noticed several customers that came in to the guest lounge with tough attitudes and were met with consideration and empathy from the staff. The shop was well kept and gave the impression that this ship was kept in order. My apologies for only 4-stars....I received 5-star service but would like to experience service again as a paying customer before I commit to a higher rating.

I was told that a package of 6 oil changes, tire rotation and fluid level check with other things was going to cost $300. When I got there it cost me $500. I have a 2019 Chevrolet High Country Crew Cab Diesel. This vehicle was purchased from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in February 2019 by a friend and I bought it from a him in January 2021. So when the person I talked to, when I called in to schedule an oil change, told me the $300 price they saw everything about the vehicle on their computer. The service person that helped me in the service lane when I got to the dealership told me it was $500 because it is a diesel, but like I previously stated, they should have already knew that when I set the appointment.Another thing that was upsetting is that it took 2 hours to do the service on the truck. I was told it would take 1 hour to 1hour and 20 mins. When I told the service person about the 2 hour time, he responded with, its a diesel. He knew that when he told me the 1 hour to 1hour and 20 mins.I think that there should be some training that will alert the people, that deal with this on a daily basis, to be able to tell the customer the correct info. It almost felt like a bait and switch situation.
