Professional, friendly service. Nick and Hannah made us feel very welcome. We were able to get an estimated cost and schedule an appointment for service at our convenience. Definitely recommend ❣️ Thank you Nick!
Hannah was incredibly helpful! Its a shame I dont live anywhere near Wilmington otherwise Id use them for every repair. Hannah was a blessing among one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I purchased a BMW 135i recently from a nearby dealer and it unfortunately had previously experienced a belt failure and pushed the belt into the engine. The issue had been covered up by either the previous owner or the dealer. Hannah helped me understand its service history at Wilmington motor works and was happy to reassure the dealer I purchased the car from that this is a common issue and that it could go unnoticed for quite some time. Seriously an incredible business with incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and caring employees, who were willing to go above and beyond even when they knew I would not be spending any money with them.
I used this place for the first time today & Ill never go anywhere else for my Euro car maintenance. I called this place last minute with a dead car battery and Tim got me in without a problem! Tim was very professional & very willing to help! I highly recommend coming to this location for any euro car needs! Thank you to the team for the great conversation & ill be back shortly!
Having recently bought my first BMW, plus being a new resident of Wilmington, I was clueless as to where to get my car serviced. I found Wilmington Motor Works online and read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I was greeted promptly when I arrived and someone came right out to check out my SUV. I was advised of what was needed and received explanations for all that was needed and why. When I explained that I had to go out of town in a few days they worked me in and completed needed repairs while I waited. I also requested that they order me some new tires, which they did and arranged for me to get them installed in 2 days. I was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism I found at Wilmington Motor Works. They have a new loyal customer.
Wilmington Motor Works has serviced my BMW & Mercedes. Every time I was treated to prompt, efficient and effective customer service. Hanna at the front desk speak technician and communicates clearly to identify what is needed and customer expectations. Each time the shop accomplished the service within the forecasted timeline and at or under the original estimate. Diagnostic results are communicated clearly to the customer and fix action recommendations are offered before the work is done. The cars come back to me clean.Quality service at competitive prices.
The service we receive far exceeds what we received from the dealer in the past. They are very thorough, honest and provide quality work with a warranty. Worth the drive from Jacksonville to have our BMW serviced. Fair pricing with exceptional work. I appreciate the diagnostic report they provide.
The guys at Motor Works are awesome. Tim, the owner, knows more about BMW’s than anyone I’ve ever met. Less expensive than taking it to the dealership and flawless work every time.
After years of using the local BMW dealer, I was very fortunate to learn about Wilmington Motor Works. They are highly professional and efficient and are truly concerned with providing conscientious service at a fair price. I highly recommend them!
Love Tim, Hannah, and all the guys at Wilmington MotorWorks! They keep my 24 year old Z3 running like a top. Great service, every time.
They’ve been working on my 1998 M3 for almost 2 years, and I’m very happy with their service. I needed an inspection, oil change and brake fluid flush on my 2014 X5 (now beyond extended warranty coverage) so I opted to leave the higher prices of the dealership and let Wilmington Motor Works do the job. As usual, everything was great and I continue to be satisfied with their entire operation. Count me a long-time customer. Thanks.
I am a single 62 years old African American Lady that depends on truth and honest regarding my car. I strongly have and will continue to depend on reliable customer relationship service. Wilmington Motor Works has given me this excellent satisfaction!!! A friend and customer of Wilmington Motor Works, Carrie McIntyre - highly recommended Wilmington Motor Works to me. And the rest is history!!!
Great service always! Recently had a problem that could have been serious. They got me in quickly and resolved the issue and I was n my way. Great customer service for all my needs on my BMW.
A terrible shop. I would not recommend them to anyone; especially N54 owners. Im just now seeing the shortcuts that shouldnt have been taken before on my 2007 335i Coupe. For example, this shop had done the front crank seal and valve cover gasket. When inspecting the motor, the injector bracket was placed in incorrectly and the front crank seal was stuck way too far in the engine. The injector bracket is related to the job as it had been removed when doing the valve cover gasket. The bracket had been put in incorrectly, and the decouplers and seals werent replaced. This can cause the cylinder head to be bored out. In addition, the crank hub and aluminum engine block was also scored. In addition to being too far in, the front crank seal had a mix of RTV/JB Weld on the sealing surface that suggested that the mechanics knew the car had problems and tried to patch it up.If the mechanics had used the special tool for the front main seal, there wouldve been no scratches and the replacement wouldve been done correctly. How does a shop that specializes in BMWs not have BMW special tools? Also, why arent the injectors in correctly? These issues are all very alarming and not something I would expect from a shop.
Always professional and always accommodating. Thank you for great customer service.
Dateline Nov 2021Today I had a oil change service, full safety check, state inspection and all suspension springs replaced on my 2001 BMW 330i. With almost 160K miles, the springs needed replacment. Now the ride quality is just as it was in 2001 when it left the factory. Nice job Wilmington Motor Works!!! And I really appreciated their new mobile application showing me a complete review on all systems before I picked up the vehicle. Check out the snap shot photo.Dateline: Jan 2021For the past few days I was hearing strange noises under the hood on my 2001 BMW 330i. My diagnosis thought it might be a bad pulley or possible water pump. A quick stop at WMWs identified the problem as a water pump bearing that failed prematurely. Tim, the owner, insisted I leave the car right away as a catastrophic failure was a real possibility. Today I picked up my car with a new water pump replaced under warranty at no charge. No hassle, no questions and a loaner car was provided for the 24 hours to fix. Always gratifying to see a shop stand by their work and replacement parts. A big thank you to Tim and the team at WMWs. The car runs as new and I continue to depend on WMW for my BMW service .....since Nov 2016.Dateline Nov 11, 2019Today marks Year #3 of service by Wilmington Motor Works after my purchase of a 2001 BMW 330i in Nov 2016. Today I had my NC State Inspection, oil change and in depth mechanical review by the team at WMWs, including pictures to document any questionable items. They gave me notice I need my rear brakes done in the next three months. Bottom line....WMWs continues to have this car running as new. I cant say enough about the quality of their work and attention to detail.Dateline June 12 2019Today I had the transmission fluid changed in my 2001 BMW 330i. The fluid is supposed to last the lifetime of the car, but after 145K miles I was starting to experience slower shifting at higher RPM shift points. It was clearly time for a filter and fluid change. Now the transmission shifts as new. Another no hassle repair by the team at Wilmington Motor Works.Dateline 2 March 2019Tim and the team at Wilmington Motor Works continue to amaze me with the quality of their work. Last month my 2001 BMW 330i with 142K miles was starting slow with longer and longer crank times. A quick call got me an appointment in two days. Their diagnosis was the original fuel pump was showing the early signs of failure. Later that day I had a new fuel pump and while it was there I elected to change out the coil and plugs for each cylinder. The car continues to run as new and I continue to depend on WMW for my BMW service.Dateline 4 Oct 2018Ive now been a customer for 2 years and my BMW 330i runs like it just left the factory in 2001. And I attribute that to Tim and his team at Wilmington Motor Works. Today was a routine maintenance visit and NC Inspection. They just keep on delivering the service and support that keeps me coming back. A truly trusted partner.Dateline 6 Nov 2016In Nov 2016 I purchased a 2001 BMW 330i that needed some work to bring all the maintenance items up to date. After doing some research in early 2017, I selected Wilmington Motor Works to do a complete service inspection and update all key operating systems. I found their work to be very thorough and reasonably priced. And when I had one issue with a persistent small leak, they did everything required to make it right. For me, that is the mark of a proven and trusted service provider. Sometimes cars like mine can be challenging to work on with highly integrated systems and very tight tolerances. This is where the team at Wilmington Motor Works shines ....they have the knowledge, skills and tools to keep these machines running like new and that makes me a customer for life.
WMW is professional, knowledgeable, very competitive with pricing (the best!), and their customer service is stellar! Hannah keeps you informed every step of the way about your vehicle, and their customer website portal/text updates are terrific. My Mercedes is forever divorced from dealership service centers. Ill never take my car anywhere else, thrilled that I found WMW.
Completed all work quickly and professionally!
They did a awesome job taken care of my needs and my car
Tim is one of the best and most helpful techs in town. Thanks again Tim!
Never a surprise, always prompt, excellent communication.
We tried Wilmington Motor Works for the first time when our new MINI needed maintenance. Chris was friendly and professional, and made the service experience easy to understand. The inspection report they offer was very helpful in setting a base line for our cars current condition and upcoming needs, and we didnt feel oversold in the slightest. The texting system and online payment option was great for status updates throughout the service, and allowed us to pick up our car after hours if we couldnt make it by during their regular business hours. Would highly recommend Wilmington Motor Works, and they have a new lifetime customer in us!
I was referred to this business for my vehicle, and with it being my first time here I was nervous! However, Chris was very helpful over the phone with setting up my appointment, and upon dropping off the vehicle, I was taken care of by the very nice receptionist up front. I love that I was able to view the step by step process via text. I also was able to view my vehicle diagnosis on my phone once it was completed. Problem areas had pictures to accompany the descriptions; I love how tech savvy they are! I would recommend this place to anyone and couldn’t thank them enough for such a pleasant experience
As a wrecker driver I usually did not make recommendations to shops around town. I never wanted to place one shop over another, but when it came to Wilmington auto Works, I always gave a rave review. One of the cleanest shops and the most knowledgeable staff I have ever dealt with.
Hannah was great as always!
Great Trustworthy Professionals! Ive taken both of my BMWs there for service and repairs and received great service with no worries! Its hard to put your trust into someone with your vehicles, but from the very first visit I knew that from now on, thats where my cars would be going! VERY SATISFIED!
I recently purchased a 2005 Mercedes with issues.Wilmington Motor Works worked with me to repair the issues. Everything was explained and price was reasonable. If you are in need of a mechanic who is honest and trustworthy, look no further. From my first phone conversation with Hannah to picking up my vehicle it has been a polite, professional and personable experience. The chairs in the waiting area are extremely comfortable also.
Second visit for our 328i Convertible and WMW has hit it out of the park again! Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean and well organized facility, easy to make appointments, quality work done with a quick turnaround at a very reasonable price and the free loaner vehicle make WMW the only place we will take our BMW, despite the fact that we live an hour away.
Our 1st time we are coming from Myrtle Beach Hannah met us at the door, was so polite and so nice .lobby area very comfortable nice rocking recliners, they even let us bring our puppy that we had with us, the staff is very nice, services very fast cheap very reasonable and very affordable cant wait to come back!!!
I have given my business to Wilmington Motor Works ever since we moved to Wilmington full time. Wonderful company from all aspects. Customer Service is extraordinary!
Have been to this shop a few times and each experience was better than the last. Quality of service, Best in town. Knowledgeable and solid deals. This team is five star for sure. Thank you!
Excellent place excellent workshop they treated me super well they are very attentive professionals and they did not overcharge me they are the best in Wilmington
WMW is an honest shop. Better then the BWW dealership. Quality work and great customer service. Hannah at the front desk is excellent. They text you a link of a report outlining any issues with your vehicle. It has detailed notes from the technician of what needs to be done and how much it would cost. They worked with me with my personal schedule. I highly recommend.
I was amazed at the price, compared to the dealership. After meeting Tim and Chris, having my B7 serviced at Wilmington Motor Works, I will return for all of my service needs. The work they did is outstanding, only wish I would have found the shop sooner. I live in Jacksonville, definitely worth the drive to find someplace I can trust to service my BMW.
Pleasantly surprised several times!Im relatively new to the area, and on the recommendation of others on Facebook chose Wilmington Motor Works to investigate an electrical problem in my BMW that was draining the battery when the car wasnt running. I used their website to explain the issue and schedule an appointment. They offered to have me drop the car off at my convenience and leave it for a couple of days so they could investigate. I replied that I needed to arrange a rental car first, and was pleasantly surprised to be offered a loaner, a truly unexpected benefit! A couple of days later they contacted me explaining the issue had been traced to the radio which continued to draw various amounts of current when is was turned off, and when the car wasnt running. When I returned to pick up the car, the owner Tim (also the mechanic that worked on it) thoroughly explained what he had found and that he had pulled the fuse to prevent further draw until I decide what to do about the radio. He also provided me with a very reasonable labor amount to swap out the radio should I decide to get a replacement unit myself. The bill? Another very very reasonable, and pleasant surprise! This might be the first time Ive ever left a repair facility with a smile on my face :) and it makes me happy to have a knowledgeable and fair mechanic to take my car to. A++ to you and your staff Tim. Great job all around! Thanks.
Chris provided me with solid insight concerning the condition of and recommended maintenance plan for my 2015 BMW X5. I do nearly all my own work on my Jeep Wrangler, so being able to talk in depth and learn about how they would approach this work is invaluable to how I will care for my X5. Very well done Wilmington Motor Works!
First time I have been to you guys and I was very impressed. Service was first class, everyone was great and the job was done well. Thank you.
Absolutely trust these guys. Top shelf business run well. Excellent system of service. No brainer with my 2008 328i. Ive spent a good deal of money with them and have always been pleased with both diagnosis and work done.
Awesome and honest team! Chris, Andy and Hannah are the best! They have been taking care of my car for years and the prices are fair. I highly recommend them.
Cleanest, most pleasant garage experience EVER. Prices are fair and work is excellent! I would consider going to the waiting area just to relax!
Wilmington Motor Works came highly recommended to me by Shaun Fuch. He was detailing my BMW & I mentioned getting bad service from a dealership here. He told me he most highly recommended WMW. I had a part worked on 6 months or so ago & they were great at explaining all to me. They made an impression on me that first time that assured me they were who I wanted to take care of my car with any further issues that would come up. Last week I took it in for an inspection. After that was done the gentleman walked me out to the car explaining why I needed new tires very soon. I would not have recognized this problem without him pointing out every tire & explaining why it was necessary. It was not anything you would outright notice, but it was to the point that within 3 months driving would become extremely dangerous. He gave me a price of new tires and alignment but also said he would check around to see if he could find any more reasonable . I highly recommend Wilmington Motor Works. I feel blessed I found them because I feel I finally found a place that I trust. I Love my car & want to keep it in the best shape possible!!!!!!
Hands down BEST people to deal with concerning car issues. I bought a BMW and within a week had issues with the fuel pump. They fixed it at a fair price and had me back on the road within a week. Will absolutely recommend them to everyone I know from now on. Couldnt ask for better service!
ANOTHER excellent experience!!
I recently had my 2010 BMW X3 serviced at Wilmington Motor Works. It was the vehicles first visit so I requested a baseline inspection of the vehicle. A detailed inspection report was provided which gave a vehicle health status and included pics of specific items such as brake pad and tire wear. The report will help me plan future maintenance. I had scheduled this appointment and waited for the services to be completed. This was done in a timely and first rate manner.
Mini experts. Business is professional, efficient, and pleasant. Prices are comparable to other local folks, and they seem very confident in the services they provide for Mini maintenance and repairs. Easy to get an appointment. Waiting room is clean with free wifi. My experience is that it is not easy to find reliable servicing for Mini Coopers.
I have only taken my car since Ive had it to Motor Works...professional, courteous and family oriented! Nothing but the BEST!
I am a first time customer and had an excellent experience. When I requested an appointment I received a quote for the work that I requested and the time it would take to complete. I was kept informed while the work was being done and the end price was less than quoted. WMW informed me that additional work that I originally requested was not needed therefore saving me money but most of all trust.
From beginning to end....polite, professional, courteous. Front and rear brakes were priced fairly and car was ready when they said it would be. I also appreciate the personal touch I experienced from all employees I had contact with. Highly recommended!
I rarely write these but in this case I have to speak up because its so hard to find a competent and reasonable repair shop and I want to share with my fellow enthusiast. #1 You can totally trust this shop with your baby. Theyre absolutely on the level. #2 Experienced mechanics and in the know staff makes this place a must if you have a BMW, Mercedes and the like with any and all issues. And #3 Wilmington Motor Works is so much better than the obnoxious dealers hands down. You can leave your car or SUV confident in getting great service at a fair and reasonable price. Hats off to you guys.
Wilmington Motor Works was recommended to me by my friends who also own a MINI. I brought my used MINI to them to check out and they were knowledgeable, fair, honest and friendly. The report I was given was extremely comprehensive. I am planning to use WMW in the future with the utmost assurance that all my MINI’s needs will be serviced with the highest quality of service and dedication possible. Chris and Hannah are awesome!
This was our first visit. We were very pleased with the service. I was told they would contact me after the diagnostics and they did exactly that. They called and gave me detailed information and exactly what problems they found and made recommendations, answered all my questions, and had my car repaired and ready for pick up when they said it would be....They are truly professional in every way. I look forward to taking my BMW to them as long as I own it!
Honest, friendly and affordable.I was very impressed by the team Wilmington Motor Works. They quickly gave me the service I needed at a surprisingly affordable rate.
Courteous efficient service,
I have a 20 year old Mercedes that can be a challenge to repair. It has a personality all its own. Ive taken it to other mechanics and they could not repair it. Dan and Chris at Wilmington Motor Works go above and beyond to find the problem and fix it at the lowest cost. They are prompt in evaluating the car and do a great job explaining what needs to be fixed. My Mercedes is running smoothly now thanks to them!
Why go to the BMW dealer when you have these guys. Dealer trained and great attitude across the board. Whether you own a BMW, Mini or Mercedes, Wilmington Motor Works is there to get you going again.
First experience with my Mini I’ve only had for a couple of months. I had called the BMW place in Wilmington and they told me to take it to Wilmington Motor Works in Wilmington. This place is the best. They know their minis. Had to replace the timing chain on my Mini. They were nice and took my extended warranty from USAA (which is awesome and everyone needs one if they buy a used mini) and a 2000Job cost me 58.00 just for the oil they had to put in. That’s all the warranty didn’t cover with no deductible.I’m hoping I don’t have any more issues with it but if I do I can guarantee my go to place is the wonderful crew at Wilmington Motor Works. It begins with Hannah and ends with a satisfied customer. Thanks guys.
WMW is a BMW owners dream come true for a vehicle out of warranty. They are knowledgeable, thorough and very accommodating, as well as sensitive to your budget concerns. I recommend them highly, you wont regret the decision later.
New customer. Very pleased with the professionalism of this company. I will be back!
These guys have been amazing to me since the day they opened their doors. Always friendly and super helpful even when they dont have to be. They really take the time to explain and talk you through things. I dont trust anyone else! I have 2 MINI Coopers, one of which is a show car and have never had a problem.
These gentlemen are simply the best. They diagnose, get the correct parts, service the car quickly and accurately, and do it with the kindest most courteous service not seen much these days. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else, ever. They need to write a manual on the how to be a successful auto service center and teach the other guys how to do it. It would take the terror out of seeing the service light come on for non BMW/MINI owners.
These guys are THE BEST. They are extremely professional, do high quality work, and beat the prices of the BMW dealership every time. I have dealt with Chris and Dan, who are both awesome! They are also certified, if you still have a warranty. Ill never go anywhere else!!
Finally! My mini is back to normal! Thanks guys! Only reason for the 4 stars is because they said my battery was shot and wouldn’t hold a charge. Picked it up nearly a week ago, and it’s just fine. Now I have a new battery just chilling in the trunk I paid $91 for when they quoted me $227 on the same exact one from autozone. Other than that! Great place!
Great place to take your Mini Cooper. They are very through and quick to respond and wonderful to work with. They have always done a great job on the Cooper.
Excellent customer service. Went well beyond what would have qualified as a job well done. You wont find a more professional shop around. Highly recommend them!
I have found these guys to be honest and dependable. They also do great work! I would recommend them to my grandmother! In fact I did and they stayed open to put new tires on her car in an ice storm when every one else was closing.
The shop was very helpful for me a new BMW owner. They did a post purchase inspection of my car and found a few glaring issues that they told me about in order of urgency. Which helped out a lot to figure out what needed to be done at the moment and they were very helpful with sending information back to my dealership so the repairs could be covered by them too. Thanks WMW.
I loved my Mini Cooper before I had Tim and his staff bring it up to speed to pass inspection. I am now in love with my Mini. My car now drives and runs like new. Some of you will understand my enjoyment of not seeing all of those extra lights on the dashboard, ABS, Service Engine Soon, etc. Thanks Tim!
I have had two BMWs maintained by Wilmington Motor Works. They provide excellent service by highly qualified mechanics and technicians. They are also friendly and efficient. Their owners/managers are top notch people. Every time I have needed help with my BMWs, they have solved the problem and charged me much less than I would have paid at a dealer. They have a very pleasant waiting room with wifi and snacks so you can relax and surf the web while you wait.
I could not be more pleased with the service and integrity of Wilmington motors!! They certainly went above and beyond for me. I will never take my car anywhere else.. thank you for everything
Top 👍 like always.
Best mechanic I have ever used. I Stopped by to make an appointment on Friday afternoon and they told me to bring it on Monday morning. By 2:00 Monday they called me to let me know what was wrong and also sent me a overview of entire car a what needs to be serviced in the near future with pictures! They ordered the part I needed Monday afternoon and called me before lunch Tuesday to tell me it was ready to be picked up. Very impressed by the speed of work. 3 year warranty on their work and parts isnt bad either.
These guys are real professionals. They are courteous and easy to talk to when you have an issue with your vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend Wilmington Motor Works to anyone that has a BMW, Mercedes, or Mini. They are the best!
Very satisfied. They could have charged over a $1000 but I walked out paying $50! Ive been taking my cars to them for years.
I have had my Z4 in their shop twice for an inspection and oil change. I have been pleased with service and wait time.
Absolutely ridiculous and not worth your money. Quoted me about 4 times with 4 different prices. When I dropped off my car to be worked on, they called and were extremely rude and wanted to fix things we had not agreed to fix. Then told me they were too busy for my car and had about 45 other cars on the lot. That’s fine though, I’ll take my $1000+ elsewhere.... or was it $1300, or $500, or $750?
These guys are the best!! My 2003 325i BMW has 352,000 (original) miles and these guys are helping me reach 400,000!! They are awesome; they are extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of a BMW and they are honest. For example, I was told by another company that I needed a new starter/alternator--Dan discovered that I need a new car key because my key battery was dead..how much $$$ did that save?!! I would recommend them to anyone who owns a BMW.
WMW is THE place to go for excellent service. Everyone is professional and any job they do, is done correctly. I take my Mini S there for routine service but would not hesitate to contact them if something major was wrong. They are honest, have competitive prices and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend WMW!!
This is my third BMW and WMW is the only place I truly feel that the service and feedback is genuine and legitimately something you can trust. Any issue Ive had they have always been able to diagnose and provide an answer that explains it and remedies it immediately. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends.
Awesome experience. They know what theyre doing (and thats hard to find when it comes to BMWs) and they are very friendly and accommodating. I heard about Wilm. Motor Works from several people who raved about them so Im so glad I came here! I will recommend to all of my friends!
The shop owner, Tim, stayed late to complete my repair, restoring ac to my wife’s import. Very impressed with the level of service received.
These guys are very knowledgeable and dont mind taking the time to explain recommended repairs. Definitely cheaper than the dealership. This is the only place I take my BMW.
This is an awesome place to take your car. They are honest and quick and very friendly. I had an emergency yesterday and they fixed it in 20 minutes! I would highly recommend using them!
A friend of mine recently brought in his car for an oil change & for his spark plugs to be changed. He pays $500 total & $300 Of that is for labor! That’s ridiculous & on top of that he left with something else completely wrong that wasn’t a problem before we had came in. Overpriced for non-efficient work! We came back & they looked at it. All of a sudden the car is fine. Knowing you messed up & not admitting to it is not professional.
Wilmington Motor Works- By far is the best place to service your car! Yesterday I took the car to get the SRS light cleared. Dan asked me questions and took the time to fully understand what was wrong with the car! I disconnected the passengers seat plug as the seat was getting recovered and that was what set off the SRS light, he then reset the light ! The drive form Jacksonville to Wilmington is worth, they fix my car right every time no bringing car back and or changing parts. Their rates are the best, I will continue to visit him and recommend it to all my friends! Thank you
EXCELLENT, COMPETENT SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICEI have been taking my Mercedes Benz E 350 4Matic to WMW since 2016 when we moved to Wilmington. Tim and his crew provide EXCELLENT, COMPETENT service at a fair price. Hanna ensures customer scheduling convenience and prompt website scheduling responses. If you choose to wait while your car is being serviced, the Customer Lounge is comfortable and convenient. I would highly recommend WMW.
I could not be happier with this place. Staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable! I highly recommend them.
I have taken both of my BMWs to this shop. They are so great, use technology properly (you can set up email or text reminders for service appointments and keep an online record you can log into and search). Everyone is nice, honest, and they get your service done when they say they will.
Excellent service. Dan, Chris and Tim are all great! Their work is perfect, attention to detail is on point. Will be taking my BMW here from now on.
Great place to bring your Bimmer, Mini, Benz, or Audi!! Brand new or Vintage cars, these guys fix them all. Clean, certified, and well talented technicians. Tim and his crew perform dealer work, at well below dealer prices. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.
Only place Ill take my X3. Honest quality service.
Motorworks was the 3rd place I had taken my car and they were the only ones who could accurately diagnose the problem. They didnt try to sell me parts that I didnt need. They just fixed the small problem and only charged me the labor.
Good work do one on time.
Underwhelmed and unimpressed, did not live up to the hype. Changed one cheap part and billed me me for multiple diagnostics, charges totaled $300+ altogether just to say they couldnt solve or even figure out my original issue I brought the car in for. I would recommend you take your BMW to Schaeffer instead.
Trustworthy, reliable, quick and friendly service!! Absolutely recommend!
Trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional customer service. Clean waiting area. Timely service always ready when promised!
Car broke down Thanksgiving and had it towed in, I communicated with these guys by phone from Va, they had it fixed in3 to 4 days, even kept it in the garage for me until i I came from Virginia to pick it up. Drove 240 miles no issues. THESE GUYS ARE FLAWLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wouldnt let me add a new review so I am just adding on to my original review.I had another issue with this same car non related to anything I had before. I researched it and there were several different remedies. Trying a couple on my own, I was unable to fix the problem. I took it to Wilmington Motor Works. They confirmed some of the possibilities that I had researched and opted for the cheaper more likely solution. They were right, and for now its fixed. I am putting this out there because they could have done several different things first that cost way more. It would not have fixed the problem. This intern would have cost me a lot more money. Their honesty promted me to add to this review. Thanks again Wilmington Motor Works for a job well done.....................................................................I would like to amend a previous bad review I gave of this establishment. I had multiple problems with a BMW 650i. I had taken it to WMW for repairs. The repairs were done professionally and promptly. However more problems began to arise and took it back for repeat repairs of different issues. I was at wits end with this car. I was not satisfied with the outcome. Many different factors played in to my dissatisfaction. After learning of my dissatisfaction, Wilmington motor works reached out to me in a professional and curtious manner. Dialogue was exchanged on both sides point of views. WMW explained there reputation of a solid work ethic. Wilmington Motor Works then went a step above and beyond to correct the problem. My issues were with oil leaks on N62 engine used by BMW on my 2007 650i. If you do any research on this engine although inherently solid as it is described, it could have a host of different oil leaks, among other issues. Wilmington Motor Works replaced every external gasket that could leak oil, and did it for a fraction of what it normally would cost. I did not expect them to go to the lengths they did to make this right. I grateful for the integrity that they displayed in my situation, and I would recommend them for repairs on BMW or any other cars they specialize in. Thank you Wilmington Motor Works...... on a side note I got myself in this jam buying a car and not doing the proper research. I bought this car from Bluewater Motor sports. The car died on me 2 days after I drove it off the lot. The dealer wanted nothing to do with the me or that car after I drove off that lot. The reason I bring this up is because I was in a bad place because of my lack of due diligence and the dishonesty of a dealership. WMW helped me in a almost impossible situation. The moral of that story is that if you buy a lemon from one of the dealers take it to Wilmington Motor Works and maybe they can make you lemonade:)
Professional, knowledgeable people. Great service at a reasonable cost.
