Do not buy from them. I recently bought $392 of beer from CraftShack, and most of the beers have been great. But I went to my basement where I keep my beers because it is cold down there, and noticed that one of their beers had spontaneously exploded all over my walls and ceiling. I had ordered 3 cans of that specific beer, and the other two were bulging and about to explode (see attached images). All other beers were fine. I sent CraftShack a message, and rather than provide a refund for the $24 that I paid for these 3 cans, they decided to send me a $5 voucher for a future purchase. My ceiling is stained, as shown in the attached photo, and I lost 3 beers. I have bought hundreds of beers from Tavour and have never had such bad customer service with them. I have also bought from CBK and have had no issues yet thus far with them either. Do not trust CraftShack customer service. The representative who responded to my email was Ashley.UPDATE: They were more reasonable after seeing this review.

Great online shop with a plethora of choice. Ive order twice now both shipments came in with in a week the first being 7 day and the second being just 5 day. Shipping is high but thats the norm when shipping g any beer from anywhere. Will continue to order my craft beer from craftshack. Thank you guys for being awsome!!

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with his favorite craft beer that hes been looking for in stores for over a year with no luck. I was so excited to find that CraftShack offered it, but had never ordered beer online before so was a little nervous. The website was super easy, customer service was so friendly answering my questions, the prices were super fair and best of all....my order arrived on my doorstep LITERALLY the day after I placed my order...probably arriving less than 24 hrs later! I dont even know how but it did. For anyone who is new and nervous about the whole ordering alcohol online thing, I highly recommend CraftShack!!!!!

Have ordered a few times and always a solid experience. beers show up in 1-2 days and have ice packs packaged in to keep them cool. awesome selection and some curated bundles to keep you trying new stuff.

Great experience and happy with purchase. The cost for shipping is high, but that is because shipping alcohol is a pain. One item I ordered was out of stock and it was easy to swap it out for something else. The order shipped quickly, which was great because it was a gift.

Excellent beer selection and EXTREMELY fast shipping for me. The only downside was the shipping was a tad bit expensive but it was definitely on the fast side so I suppose thats a tradeoff.

Placed an order on the morning of 3/31. As of 7 days later (4/6), the order still hadnt shipped and they wanted another ~$60 to expedite shipping. Only order from here if you dont care if your beer is fresh or arrives in a timely manner. Otherwise, there are dozens of other sites selling the same beers for the same price without the shipping delays.Im sure theyll have some canned response to this review about their fulfillment times and shipping delays and a million other excuses. Bottom line -- they dont care about customer service, so just avoid them. There are many far superior alternatives.

Great online source for beer and liquor. This is a great way to get beer that isn’t available at your local beverage store. I love my Ohio beers but sometimes I want some of the west and east coast breweries that aren’t readily available near me. Craft shack is great at getting those hard to find beers to you. I used to use tavour but they stopped distributing in Ohio due to liquor laws here in Ohio changing. The only thing I don’t like is the shipping costs I miss the once a month delivery option tavour would do so you could add a few beers at a time then once a month it would ship fir just one flat rate. Would be nice if craft shack could offer a monthly delivery option as well.

CraftShack has been my Covid-related guilty pleasure. Great selection of beers (and liquors) delivered to my door in packaging that could survive a nuclear blast! Ive been incredibly happy with my service and have enjoyed the variety of West Coast brews Ive discovered....not common on the East Coast!

The service provided by Craftshack is a shut ins best friend. I am in a wheelchair the last couple years do to lifestyle choices. Craftshack and their seemingly endless supply of libations have put a grin on my face more than once. As Rick states at the end of Casablanca This has been the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Craftshack is an awesome service and they always have a great selection of beers to choose from! My only potential beef is that sometimes the cans come dented/look a little beat up, but it has not affected the quality of any of the beers themselves.

They have an amazing variety in stock. Ive found a lot of new favorites in beer and cider.

Shipping/Handling time is really slow... no seriously its slow. It took 4 weeks for my beer to ship. Then I was out of town when the beer shipped so I asked customer service to hold the beer till I get back. Of course it shipped the next day. Wont be ordering beer here again.

CraftShack has an awesome selection of beers and spirits. Delivery during this pandemic is a little slower, around 5-6 days. But the product ships FedEx with complete tracking info, so being available to sign for your package is easy. Prices are very competitive and better than my local wine & spirits shop. This is my second order. I’ll be back for more.

Craft shack has a great selection, easy to navigate website and great customer service. When one of my cans was damaged in shipping, they made it right within 24 hours with a refund and an e gift card for the trouble. I would highly recommend and plan to use them again soon!

Very nice selection of beer, but I was a bit disappointed by how old the IPAs were that I ordered. One was 4 months old and another was 2 months old. If Im paying a lot of money for the beer I expect it to be fresh.

CraftShack has improved markedly over the years. They used to be a bit slow shipping and had some communication issues, but things over the last two years have been much better. Selection is always great, shipping is fast, their new flat rate shipping is a huge benefit, and they always take care of any issues including broken bottles, which in my experience is a rare occurrence. The new rewards program is also fantastic. I would highly recommend CraftShack!

I was looking for beer brewed in Alaska. Craft Shack was the only place I could order it from. Despite the amount of the kind of beer I want isnt always available, the website clearly tells me how many bottles are left for me to order.Also a few times Ive had to call customer service regarding shipping, and the gal I spoke to on all occasions was extremely helpful and apologetic for the separation of multiple packages.I tell all my friends looking for unique beer to check out Craft Shack

The only reason I wouldn’t give them a “5” is the high shipping costs, requirement to spend a certain amount before they will ship (I can understand that for free shipping, but not just to buy) and the package deals you must buy to get a special beer. If you can fix this stuff, I would buy much more often than I do.

This company reached out and refunded after logistical problems caused an extra-long delay with no updates for days after my card was charged - so Im restoring my previous high rating because now I again believe their operation is a reliable way to get booze delivered, though now and then shipping might take considerably longer due to the Covid-19 crisis.

I bought from this site around 6 different flavored beers thinking I was getting 2, 4, and 6 pack of beers of each item. The picture next to the beer shows either a 6 pack or 2 pack with some cases being a 4 pack. The price of each item was pretty high (but not as high as it is in stores which I assumed was the usually online discount most sites have on an item) and the description of the can size was being listed as either 1 12oz can or 1 16oz can (which I thought at the time to be the general description of the can sizes of the packs because thats how other sites will list it in the amount). It turns out the 1 next to the listing of the can size was the actual amount you were buying and NOT what the picture was showing.So according to this site, if you wanted to buy a 6 pack of beer, it will cost up to or exceeding between 18 to up to 40 dollars or more (Depending on the price of each beer which can vary heavily). If you wanted to buy a 24 pack, you could find yourself shelling out up to 70 to 180 dollar (this is a very rough estimate BTW) and thats not including the exorbitant shipping cost of another 20 dollar they charge you for a box that is way to oversized for the amount of product you are buying.Not sure if the setup they have is intentionally deceptive or not, but do yourself a favor and avoid this overpriced monstrosity of an online beer selling site IMO. Dont make the same mistake I made of paying around 70 dollars for a 6 pack case of beer. With that amount you could easily go to a local beer warehouse or some of the local stores that carry craft beers and get 3 to 4 times the amount.UPDATE: As to the response to the owners response. There was no discrepancy in the order. That was the amount I got (6 beers) AND what I ended up paying for it with the listing on the order saying ONE BEER FOR EACH FLAVOR. For anyone else reading this. Read what I said and then go to the site and look for yourself. You will see everything I said to be true unless they change the site afterwards. Be careful to pay attention to the information provided and DO NOT go by just the pictures alone. You could find yourself paying a huge amount for a simple 6 pack of beer.

My stepmom has a severe gluten allergy and, as such, doesnt have the opportunity to enjoy craft beers too often. Her favorite beer -- which is offered by a gluten-free brewery -- is out in San Diego. Because we live on the East Coast, its been difficult to get a decent supply of this beer because we dont make it out there very much. Craftshack made this possible, however, and made for a great gift at reasonable prices. Shipping is expensive, but worth it. Absolutely recommend.

While the experience with Craftshack was great, their delivery experience was terrible. After communicating with the delivery company several times, they still tried to deliver on days I wasn’t home. After explaining the problem to Craftshack, all they said was that I would have to pay for additional shipping if it was still failed to deliver 3 times despite it not being my fault.

My husband is a HUGE Deftones fan so when I found out about their beer collaboration with Belching Beaver I was excited to surprise him with some...until I realized we live in TEXAS where there is none to even purchase out here. Truly thought all was lost until I came across Craftshack. Lifesavers!! Now the Deftones are on the 4th collaboration, and we like to keep our fridge stocked, so every few weeks we make a order! Its also made us try other beer we had no clue was out there!
