Excellent choice of beers, draft, canned and bottled. Nice outside seating, just need a couple more fire pits (it was cold tonight). One specific food truck was scheduled and backed out, but they scurried around and found a suitable replacement.

Such a fun night out! We went for the first time on a Friday when they had an Irish band playing and loved it! The inside is very small, so most people sit outside in this area that feels like a backyard. They have picnic tables and a little stage for the musician, and fairy lights above. It’s super chill and low key. The staff was very knowledgeable of the beers inside and were able to pinpoint exactly what I was after. Ended up trying a sour that was delicious! And my fiancé had a beer on draft.

Insanely great beer store. Features lots of great NC beers in addition to a global selection with a particular strength in Belgian brews. Quality wine selections as well, and several beers on tap to drink while shopping or in their backyard picnic area with friends or while listening to live music. A must for me every time I visit Wilmington!

Ive drank thousands, literally thousands of beers over the last 11 years...and this place nearly made me nauseous with the incredible selection. Located in what looks like an old house, beer is stacked from floor to ceiling, most out of the cooler but some brews/4-6 packs are in coolers. Theres a small bar area that has a handful of well curated brews on tap, plus a fridge full of class beers. A backyard biergarten boasts tables and chairs, string lighting and a place for live music. If youre a serious craft beer fan and looking for a rare find or a relaxed setting to enjoy a newly found creation, this is the place. Note: Picture is of a free tasting they were doing for sours/barrel-aged beers.

Great selection, but I was disappointed with how many singles were offered. it also wasnt very organized by type of beer, and was ipa heavy. great stop though if you have enough time to look around. I also didnt ask for help, though, and Im sure whoever was there would have been Able to help me navigate things better than on my own!

This bar was so unique! The friends we went with called it a bottle bar, but it was a first for me. Basically, it was a house that had different rooms filled with beer and wine from all over the world! In addition, they were several beers on tap to choose from, several unique to the area. If you are looking for unique gifts, they also had beer infused lollipops, soups and pickles for sale.I enjoy sour beers, so Natty Greenes on draft was my favorite!As if the selection wasnt enough, the back yard area featured picnic tables and live music (check their schedule). If outdoors isnt your thing, there is a sitting room with several games for you to play as well.Basically, this place is awesome! If we lived in Wilmington so we would frequent this place often.

Somewhere between Phish and The Weekend you will find it at FERMENTAL. You will experience a very accepting atmosphere as well as an inviting customer base. Fermental is one of my favorite spots to hang in Wilmington. Its pretty much like a house filled with beer and wine! They also have a small bar inside with beer on tap. The selection of beer is something to see. The hardest part is deciding what to drink! They are always doing events and frequently have food trucks, vendors and live music. If you havent been to Fermental yet...youre missing out!

This places beer selection is UNTOUCHED by anyone else in North Carolina. While its overwhelming to walk in because of the sheer volume of inventory, you are going to be able to find something for yourself no matter what. Everyone is so knowledgable about all the beer they carry. Cant wait to drink a beer with you guys again!

WOW is all I can say! Seriously some of the best selection I’ve ever come across in North Carolina. The backdrop is a friendly crowd in a quaint converted bungalow. Most importantly, it is very fun. $3 drafts and wine on Mondays?! I also appreciate their detailed info on Facebook, and their kid and pet friendly vibe. I saw a great band one night I was there and also got really good food truck food. I want to kiss this place. I would give a million stars if I could.

What a cool spot! Its got the feel of an enchanted house party with more beer and wine than guests. The rooms are set up so you can walk through and sit in a secluded seating area in each one, as if in a home. There are bottles displayed on the walls and refrigerators dotted about brimming with the most extensive range of imports and local craft beers I have ever seen in one place. Absolutely wild, will return the next time I am in town. I dont drink beer anymore and I enjoy a little wine, but my party loved it and I will be the happiest to volunteer as designated driver to go there! The great atmosphere, with live music, is such a joy to be a part of. PS the woman who was singing with her guitar last night knocked my socks of, and the male vocalist / guitarist was also great!

They have my favorite imports from Germany, Belgium, and Japan. Havent found anywhere else in Wilmington with the same selection of imports.

This place was quite the unexpected surprise. Being from out of town and looking for a good selection of beer/cider I was blown away. Sours from Oregon, ciders from Vermont, and every sq foot of this place packed with something heady... cant recommend enough!

From the outside, Fermental is a quaint and unassuming place and you may incorrectly figure that their selection would be small and not the best. Youd be very wrong. Once you walk in, youll notice that beer and wine from all over are packed into every nook and cranny of this place. In terms of the bar, they have about 4 beers on tap. But I can almost guarantee that theyll have anything youre looking for somewhere in the inventory. It is the best bottle shop Ive ever been to and anyone thats interested in the marvel that is alcohol should definitely stop by.

Amazing beer selection. Top tier hard to find brand new release kind of place. Owner must be very well plugged into the beer scene. Keep an eye on the rotating taps. Also the quick beer chiller for their non refrigerated beers. Fun Knick Knacks too beer soap etc. Always a treat to visit. Great patio that often offers food trucks and live music. One of my favorite beer stores.

This review is for the food truck mostly, but the cashier girl wasnt friendly AND they expect a tip. TIP for What? Im doing the service part.As I said this review is mostly for the food truck, Im awake at 4 am because Im suffering from food poisoning purchased from one of the food trucks. I just realized how much trust we as consumers put into these strangely dressed people that do not have a brick and mortar building for any sort of health inspection and we consume their OVERPRICED junk. AND I paid them a tip, Again, TIP for what? Im NOT being serviced, I do the ordering and the pick up? My stomach pain is killing me. Hope this helps. Otherwise its a cool place to hangout. Next time Ill order Jimmy Johns or Papa Johns.
