The store is very clean and well organized, and the gentleman behind the counter was very sweet with helping me find an out-of-print comic I was searching for. I also appreciate him giving me a comic cover/sleeve to store my purchased issue in as I wasnt sure how to ask. Its a shame I dont live in the area to come back for the next re-printed issue. I definitely recommend this place for those into comics 👍🏼

In town for the week, found this shop. One of the best Ive been in and Ive been in a lot. Clean, cool, well lit...extremely well organized. Nice mix of graphic novels/new issues/bin books, as well as nice selection of wall books. Very knowledgeable staff.

My favorite comic book shop! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and recommended me some of my favorite series and even some obscure one-shots. They also offer shoppers a chance to try something new with their themed monthly sales and healthy selection of used comics. Don’t sleep on this place!!

Called to reserve a comic for my son. Told the gentleman on the phone I would have my wife come by and grab it. When my wife arrived, with two kids full of wonder and excitement to experience all that comic books have to offer, she was treated like garbage. She was rudely informed that the comic had not yet been pulled for members, which have first dibs, and that they wouldnt be offering the rest for sale until after 5 pm, if there are any left. Information that could have easily been passed along on the initial phone call. She was then laughed at when asking about a subscription service and was given the bare minimum of details. Sexism and elitism are still alive and plentiful at FanBoy.

The staff are very polite and eager to help. If Im ever back in the area they will certainly get my business!

If you are looking STRICTLY for comic books, this seems like it would be the place to go.I, unfortunately, was looking for Funko pop figures, action figures, t-shirts, and movie posters.This place doesn’t sell any of that.I asked the man behind the counter and he told me to try memory lane comics.I was able to find what I needed there. Along with a staff that actually took the time to make sure I was happy.I won’t be coming back here.

Very welcoming atmosphere; Im fairly new to the comic book scene, and didnt feel overwhelmed or dumb for asking questions of the staff (they were very friendly and helpful). Theyve got a wide variety of stuff and some awesome deals. Definitely going back there when I can.

As being an off again, on again comic collector, this establishment is a fans dream, no pun intended. The guys are friendly, knowledgeable and enjoy the conversations that, as comic and pulp culture enthusiasts (nerds), we often find ourselves engaged at a moments notice. Because of nature and even more importantly the environment itself. Ive begun to bring my children to Fanboy Comics because of this environment and wanting them to share in these experiences. Also, if i convert them, it will be easier to explain to my significant other why I continue to immerse myself and spend funds toward this cherished activity. My final thoughts are that if you ever want reindulge yourself in the comic/ pulp culture medium; and possibly, introduce the second generation to a passion that no longer needs to be shrouded in secrecy, this is the one . Come join us!!!

Really great place for find what you are looking for. They have a ton of comic books from every age. They also do subscription service. There are also a lot of just fun comic book paraphernalia in the store you can buy. Great store!

Been a subscriber here for awhile now. Prices arent bad and they usually have discounts going on a few things. Love the atmosphere and the staff has always been great. They even take the time to note what Im currently into and make recommendations on new stuff. Best comic store in Wilmington by my assessment.

Has a good variety of things but the last time we went in, it smelt like mold. I know some places are still recovering from the hurricane but this needs to be taken care of. Not only for the sake of the employees and customers, but so merchandise doesnt get ruined.

Another great comic book store in Wilmington! Went there a couple of times to buy some back issues. They gave me the subscriber discount on them, even though I was a new customer. They had a great selection of comics in the $1 boxes. Excellent selection, great prices, and fantastic customer service makes this store a winner in my book!

Favorite local comic shop, have picked up a ton of great books new and old. With amazing weekly discounts and great events like the brown bag sale and free comic day this shop is a must visit!

Purchased a gift card as a present. The receiver could wait to use it. The transaction was easy, the quality and quantity of merchandise is excellent. This is not your one stop shop. Prepare to browse as there is much to see.

First time comic buyer. Felt very comfortable here and the staff were extremely helpful in my search for what I would like in a comic. Bought The Killing Joke and The Watchmen and have since fallen in love with comics. The staff person who took care of my purchase threw in a few samplers for free and just from a couple minutes of talking he knew exactly what I like! This is a good comic shop, Thomas is always friendly and greets you when you walk in and lets you know of any special sales that he has going on. If hes not there the staff always friendly and give you the same kind greeting.

Amazing comic book selection and exteremly helpful staff. They offer a subscription box that allows you to have your favorites pulled as soon as they come in.

Friendly staff, periodic deals, good store layout. They make a point of not throwing away leftover comics, instead selling them super cheap which I love because it allows me to find hidden gems.
