Make sure you get pricing in writing before you have your exam. You will be given one price for the exam and later find out a different amount was filed on your insurance. Total charges were disclosed to me for one amount (which I paid). Later found that my insurance was filed for a higher amount.My last visit for sure!!

Excellent experience. As a new patient I felt like Dr. Jackson took time listening to my concerns and the reason for my visit. He clearly conveyed technical information in a manner I could easily understand and made me feel comfortable throughout the exam. His staff was very friendly and efficient as well. I would certainly recommend him to others.

They are so nice and friendly too! They helped my daughter and I understand more about her vision! They taught her how to put on her contacts and it really helped! You should really go to this place to check your eye vision! :D

I went for an eye exam and contact lens fitting today at the Carolina Beach Road location in Wilmington today. Dr. Hendrix was great, as well as the staff. They were right on time with appointment and I feel that I received the best exam in years. I will definitely be going back for next exam and would highly recommend them if you are looking for a an eye doctor.

I first visited here a dozen years ago based on a recommendation. Then my wife started going to another place in Mayfaire and I was snooty enough to think I got better care by paying more! After a few visits there I went back to Dr. Jackson and havent looked back (get it?). Both doctors were qualified but Dr. Jackson spent more time getting it right and, since Im not on insurance the price was much better! Would highly recommend and worth the drive for me!

Best optometrists Ive ever run across. They really know their stuff, and take the time to answer questions. I had a retinal bleed that required surgery, they did the followup monitoring and caught an early-onset cataract (a complication of the surgery). I had femtolaser cataract surgery in both eyes and went from -7.5 diopters to 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other uncorrected. In the post-op checkup, even though the vision was good, they took the time to work out the final tiny tweaks that, with a pair of glasses, will get me sub-20/15 in both eyes.

I was seen in a timely manner but when the doctor was done examining my eyes with the lens machine, I tried to tell her that I was still seeing a little double and a little blurry. I was then told that that was the machine which I knew it wasnt because Ive been through this before. Im not very happy. With the new prescription of glasses, I was as expecting to be able to SEE! Its pretty sad that I see just about the same blurriness without them on! Try listening to your patients next time please!

Dr. Jackson has improved my life 100%. After months of struggling with blurry vision, I decided to venture out of my insurance companys network so I could get a second opinion from Dr. Jackson .....that decision was genius because Dr. Jackson is a genius !!!! I can FINALLY see the world around me again without blurriness !

Saturday the 20th. All the other times that Ive been the have been wonderful this visit was enough to make me never come back. The respsontist was so rude and offensive.

This was one of the most unprofessional offices i seen in my life. Twice they screwed up my appts. The first one they claimed they couldnt find my insurance after looking three different times and me leaving my job to come in office just to spell his name. The next one they wrote it on the wrong day. I know this because i told the lady i could do that appt because i had another appt. She told me they would schedule it for the following week. I get here and nope she didnt reschedule. They tell me they would work me in and that i would be the next patient (which was standing behind me.) but i was still waiting an hour after that patient had left. The dr was at least vert good....sad the staff isnt as good
