We built a new home with all Pella windows and doors. Jim is the best! He has been here to help a few times. He is always friendly, professional and always able to help. He remembers my name and always makes sure that Im happy before he leaves.

I rarely take time to give a review to any company. I give Pella a 1 star rating only because there is not a lower rating. The Pella team has not delivered 3 of the 10 windows and doors that I paid for last September. They came to install finally in January only to find they didn’t have the right materials which they had to reorder and now they have told me it may be here in June. The salesman tells me that the company is just like that. “Sorry”. His manager won’t even return calls after telling me that he would commit to keep me informed.What a terrible experience! They do not live up to the reputation that I paid for and are hugely disappointing.The only advice I can offer to anyone who is shopping for windows. Spend your money somewhere else, Pella does not deserve your business and doesn’t care about their customers once the check is written.

Do not use the Wilmington, NC branch. They only have two installers neither of which are reliable. We have waited 2 months to even have our products installed and have to date been cancelled on twice. The first time was at 845 the night before the install was due to be done and the second was the morning of. No regard for other peoples time. I cant speak to the quality because I have yet to receive it, but Im sure it is not worth this headache.

After dealing with these local fly by night, cheap window companies I called Pella. Aaron Lyons made this the best buying experience I could have asked for. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and always answered his phone. What a relief to have a I can feel confident about. That old saying you get what you pay for, well it’s true!

We had a very positive experience investing in Pella Windows. After purchasing our retirement shore house, we wanted the best value. The showroom floor personnel were helpful and informative, and the meeting with Mike the window sales specialist in our home was also a helpful, non-pressured meeting to assess our home and decide what type of window met our aesthetic needs relative to the coastal environment. While priced higher because of their better quality than vinyl replacement windows, we decided to go with Pella because of preference for their product, enhanced value and complete confidence that installation would be very professional. We anticipate purchasing a smaller fixer upper home, in which case you can be assured the windows will be replaced with Pella.Sincerely,Mike

Great windows! However..install rescheduled numerous times, installers showed up late on install day, installers not respectful of our health safety by not wearing masks or even making an effort to do so and finally I had to clean up job site. Windows are quality and finished job looks great.

Our house sustained tornado damage in February which included significant window damage. Jim Angelo of Pella spent significant time surveying the damage and making recommendations as to the best approach to replace and/or repair. We have been life long customers of Pella Windows and they always exceed our expectations.

I have replaced most of the windows in my house with Pella windows. I am extremely happy with the quality of the windows and the professionalism and systems of Pella as a company. I can’t recommend Pella more highly.

We called 1-800 Pella about purchasing replacements for our old sliding glass doors. They scheduled an on site appointment with Tom Long of Pella Sales and Thanks to Tom’s knowledge and professionalism the entire process from quote to purchase to scheduling to installation went perfectly. They were installed on schedule, with outstanding attention to detail by Joe Reckert their dedicated Pella Installer that Tom selected personally for our project. Our experience with Pella was exceptional and we would highly recommend Tom and his Team!

Called this places about getting a front entry door to replace my current one. Left a message and never got a call back. I guess they have enough work and money that they dont want to make anymore.

Jim Angelou has to be one of the nicest repairman we have ever had in our home. He came to our home after having to evacuate his home due to Dorian to inspect a rotting Pella window. He lined up several days of appointments to assist while he was in the RDU area keeping his family safe from Dorian. We couldnt get an appointment with Pella Greensboro until October so him getting here sooner was much appreciated. Wish there were more people like Jim. We hope the replacement process goes as quickly and smoothly.

Jim Angelou was great to work with. He was very professional and friendly. He called about 45 minutes before he would arrive which I very much appreciated. He was very prompt in fixing my door lock and took the time to explain to me the proper maintenance of my specific type of lock.

In home service performed by Jim Angelou on Sept. 6, 2018. Jims technical and customer service skills are outstanding. He explained everything he planned to do, clearly to me (the customer) before he did it and then executed perfectly to correct every issue. We are completely happy with the Pella windows and doors in our new home occupied June 2018. Our casement windows and 8’ sliding glass doors provided complete protection through the harshness of Florence. We’ve had a couple of minor service calls, one of which was an after occupancy complete checkout and fine tune for precision operation. Jim Angelou has been the service tech for each visit. Jim was prompt to respond, remind of the appointment and notify of arrival. Upon arrival we were greeted with professional courtesy and the service was provided with thourough knowledge and professionalism. The product is great and completely supported by great service.

Doug Ennis my rep was extremely helpful dealing with a client of mine. My client was also very pleased with his service. Doug will get back to you in a timely manner with any questions you may have. That is not protocol for all distributors. My overall experience was excellent.

My window buying experience was amazing thanks in part to Andy Shirlows great service.

Pella may be a good product but their installation company sucks! Waited 2 months to get door installed after paying for it.....on the day of installation they called to reschedule. Now it has been rescheduled 3Xs. They are either incompetent or have a really bad process. I would suggest getting more info upfront on some guarantees on installation dates or look at another brand to do business with. This company has now wasted several of my days that I cant get back

Jim Angelou is a huge asset to Pella of The Carolinas. Although scheduled to work on what I initially felt were minor problems involving some our oceanfront sliders, Jim diligently unearthed several additional problems, and did not leave before he checked all of the sliders in the house. In doing so, Jim went above and beyond what he could have been reasonably asked to do, and the end result was that we were left feeling totally reassured in the knowledge that the job was completed to the fullest possible extent.

Recently, we replaced the lower sashes in our great room. The Pella technician was Jim Angelou. He was professional, courteous, and responsive to our installation desires. I could be more pleased with the Pella sashes and Jims service. Well done!

My family spent top dollar on Pella doors and windows. 18 months later, our door handle is falling apart -- repeatedly -- and Pella wont schedule a service visit. I keep calling; they tell me theyre snowed under. So I have a malfunctioning door, a safety hazard, and Pella wont fix their shoddy work. Go elsewhere, this isnt a reliable company.Update: Three weeks after calling Pellas local and national service numbers, and requesting that their scheduler contact us, we still have had no reply. So Ive had to fix the door myself. My family will never trust this unprofessional company again. We are appalled at how bad they are, and highly recommend that you go elsewhere for your doors and windows.
