Am thrilled with my new hinged door. Also got replacement storm door at front. Was made aware of leadtime. Day of installation, contractor arrived about 10 minutes from call. Workers were extremely professional & answered all my questions. Hauled away all debris. Highly recommend!

I wanted to reverse the opening direction of two windows on my lanai to improve airflow. I was told initially that the sashes would have to be replaced. However, Chris asked to come out to see if there might be an easier, less costly solution. He was able to flip the glass panels, reverse the position of the rollers, and adjust the slides. It wasnt easy, but all turned out perfectly, thanks to his resourcefulness, ability, and desire to provide great customer service. I couldnt be happier. Thank you, Chris and Window World!

Overall had a great experience with the company. My only complaint is we have carpet in our home and the day the window was replaced it started raining, the installers never asked or offered to remove their shoes or wear covers while walking from outside to inside our home. We ended up steam cleaning the carpet after they left. Window installation was well but I wish they had thought a little more about our home and the carpet.

Windows appear to be good quality. Price was best by a long shot. Installation was friendly, courteous and efficient. Very happy.

From order to install was several months but think this was due to pandemic. Everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and helpful. Windows look great and price was reasonable. No complaints.

My hubby and I recently purchased a home that needed renovations. Most of the window sashes needed to be replaced due to broken seals. We also had a huge window on the back of the house that had a rotten frame and needed to be completely replaced. We realized that the windows with the broken seals were replacement windows that had been installed a number of years ago by Comfort World, which is now Window World. Little did we know at the time what a blessing this would be. When I called Window World, I had the absolute pleasure of talking with Karen Knight who could not have been more wonderful. Not only was she so sweet, but she was so incredibly helpful. She shared with me that all of the sashes were covered under warranty and would be replaced free of charge. I sent her pictures of each of the sashes and she placed the order immediately. She then scheduled our appointment for someone to come out and measure for the huge window that needed to be completely replaced. All of the work is now completed and we are so very pleased. Everyone we worked with at Window World was amazing. We highly recommend Window World.

We were very happy with the workmanship & customer service. They came promptly for every scheduled appointment. They replaced 2 sliding glass doors and the size of the new ones was slightly different. They were able to use carpentry skills to make the area look great. Would recommend!

Products (front door, storm door, sliding door) all seem to be good quality but weve only had them for a week now. However, warranty is pretty solid so assuming they should be durable. Install and sales folks were great. Scheduling was not 100% smooth because of weather and the holidays but they did work to accommodate us.

I was disappointed about one thing. After waiting 18.5 weeks for the windows to arrive, I was informed that the windows ordered were the wrong size. Luckily, to my satisfaction, the windows were installed with minor adjustments.

Sub contractor took 4 days for a job I was told would take 2 days max. The sub did a decent job. Windows came with marks on them from the factory. I wouldn’t use them again.

We were considering vinyl siding. A representative came to our house, but did not bring samples. He claimed he forgot them. He took measurements and said he would bring the samples the next day. We never heard from him. No estimates and no samples. No business from us.

Ordered my windows back in June- was told that because of Covid it will run 10-12weeks. That’s fine, the windows came about 8weeks from first order. When the installers came- they explained to me they were the wrong windows and that the office was going to call me. The office called me and actually stated that the windows were in fact correct and that they will be back out in two days to install again. The office called me later that day and told me that one of the windows have broke at their warehouse. Guess what? I have to wait on them to be delivered again but was reassured that I would be moved up on the list so I don’t have to wait another 10-12 weeks. They offered to give me my money back but since I paid for it in full I thought it was best to complete the process - well, it’s early October and I still don’t have my windows. But they do update me every week explaining that they still didn’t come in so that’s cool.

I have had two separate experiences working with Window World, the first was absolutely wonderful, everything went smoothly and it turned out great. The second felt like everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But the store manager listened to all of my concerns and worked hard to make everything right. The finished product was exactly what I wanted and it looked great. I really appreciated Window Worlds commitment to customer service.

From the initial phone call, to the estimate, to the install Window World and their employees were great to work with. Their product was of high quality and installed professionally.

Salesman put on a great show in our home, and was good to work with, however once the windows arrived and where installed the windows where all left dirty of caulk and handprints. Once notified of my dissatisfaction I was told that window world didn’t need me to fill out the final paperwork to complete my financing. Chris (I believe) was rude while I was explaining the glass having caulk on them and others just needing to be cleaned. Good windows but the people that do the install and the guy in the office are not customer service need replaced.

I used Window World for our house at the coast this last time. We had them replace the windows and then had sliding glass doors installed to replace the French doors which had warped. Prior to this, we used them for windows in another house. Needless to say I highly recommend Window World. I really enjoyed meeting Rich, our sales person, in Wilmington. He was great to talk with and an all around interesting guy. Our installation guys were always on time and called when they were in their way. They cleaned up and when they left you never knew they were there. The windows are an excellent product. They easily raise up and down, no drafts and are easy to clean. I compared similar products and found Window World windows to be the same quality and cost less. If I ever need windows or doors again I will definitely call on Window World first.

I find it impossible not to love Window World windows. I’ve had mine installed over 20 years ago and they still look & operate great. It has been one of the best investment I’ve ever made. The quality & value is untouchable and there Customer Services friendliness and professionalism from there phone rep to the actual repairman is absolutely unmatched (that is if you ever need them) because there windows are just that good. I highly recommend Window World to all.

The installation crew always called ahead to let us know when they would arrive. They were careful and considerate while working inside the house and picked up trash as they went. Except for the new windows, you would not know that they had been working in the house at the end of the day. The salesman and owner were very accommodating and helpful during the entire process. We replaced 43 windows and were really not looking forward to the project, but the entire staff and crew made the whole process a great experience for us. We could not recommend them more highly.

Excellent professional service. A representation was able to come out to my house within a few days to measure and our my new entry door. I choose the upgraded door with blinds between the glass, its gorgeous! The install was done in the time frame promised and only took ~2 hours for full professional install.

Window World was highly recommended by a lot of folks in the Wilmington/Cape Fear region but the service we received was sub par We knew the installation was going to be 14 weeks (due to the hurricane), we were informed of this by the salesman that came to our house. I didnt receive a call from Window World for scheduling installation so at 11 weeks I decided to give them a call (I would need to give my boss a heads up for taking the days off needed). I was told that scheduling was done at 12 weeks and another young lady would call me then. I waiting...nothing. 15 weeks came around and I called again to be informed that our new installation time would be at 20 weeks. None of this would have been a big deal if the companys customer service department would have kept in touch with the delays and such. That being said, the company had no problem calling me as soon as the installation was done for payment (I didnt know the contractors were done as my husband was at the house and I was at work). If they called and kept customers informed like they do for payment they would have received a 5 star review from me, hands down. Now the good: At 20 weeks our windows were installed by Bobby and Bill who were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Very professional, courteous and extremely hard working. The 15 windows and our new door French door look absolutely amazing. I also like how we only had to put down half of the amount owed up front (unless you finance through them) all other companies we received quotes from wanted 100% down (Lowes and Home Depot told us this). They also were approximately $2000.00 (+/_) less than all the other companies we received quotes from for similar or better product.

I highly recommend this business and was very satisfied.

The crew arrived and completed the job on time. Every window (17) & two patio doors were replaced with sliders. Siding needed to be removed prior to install, and reinstalled after, for the windows to be installed correctly. The window units were deeper than the builder grade windows we replaced so the interior sills and trim needed to be modified. The two man crew did the entire job in three days including clean up and disposal of the old windows & other debris. The job site was cleaned and left orderly at the end of each day. This was our third experience with Window World and this install crew. We would recommend them to anyone planning to replace windows and doors!!!

Took forever for them to get to us, but they said that up front. Once they did get to us, it was on. Installation crew worked hard and the work performed was extremely professional. Windows are awesome. Clear, clean, open and close smooth as butter and a lifetime warranty....awesome. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. No regrets and I have family members getting some installed too. So would I recommend Window World to family or friends? Already did!

Its been awhile, should have reviewed when the windows were installed. They were very prompt about coming out to measure and had a good price. very quick to install a look great, have had {1] top section of a window replaced that discolored, polite service, quick response good as new, would recommend them to anyone and would use them again

It was a great experience working with these folks at every level: sales, management, and installationWe wanted a Dade County rated door and found it ONLY at WW! And the price was better than doors from several other vendors. No hassle; no gimmicks.

To be honest, it was a surprise when I ordered the windows and was told there was a 16 week lead time due to the amount of work they were experiencing. Regardless, they installed when they said they would and all the work was done quickly and completed in a single day. The crew cleaned up everything and left it better than when they arrived. Ill use them in the future if I needed due to the professional and experience. Its always a treat to work with a contractor that does what they say when they say.

Its a wonderful product. Doors look great and seem to be well made. However, the experience we endured with this companys ability to manage timelines and provide accurate estimates of when the product would be delivered was nothing short of lacking. We were told six to eight weeks. It ended up being much closed to three plus months which, of course, created a domino effect with regard to related jobs being completed by other contractors (flooring, carpets, etc). When asked about the delays the company informed us that we never said that. Additionally, the financial arrangement is to pay half down and half upon completion. We paid the 1/2 deposit and then, after install, there were some adjustments needed. Gentleman in the financial department was very forceful when asking so you think a small adjustment is worth holding our money in reference to the last half of the contracted amount. Upon those adjustments being made, payment was promptly made. Also the company didnt complete the full haul away of our former doors, leaving one outside on the patio. Again, the product seems to be well made and they look very good. Its too bad the communication and customer service associated with the doors is hardly in the same league. I will say that the owner made an effort to come out and complete that last adjustment himself, which has a somewhat redeeming quality.

Surf City Residents--No-Go for Window World of WilmingtonI had to give them one star to post this review. I called the Window World of Wilmington to inquire about putting on a storm-door. Got a call from someone who seemed inpatient, stated (in essence) that it was not worth their time (in dollars) to come to my home to provide estimate. In addition, I explained that Window World had installed 32 windows at another NC residence for me, and the man on the other end basically hung up. Look Elsewhere-- Sad!

We had to wait 7 months for the installation of our new sliding glass doors. It was worth the wait. They came a second time to make sure the measurements for the custom size doors were correct and the result was perfection.

We had a great experience with Window World! They came out quickly to give us an estimate. Their prices were very competitive and everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable. Once we ordered our windows, they kept us posted on status. On installation day, the installers were polite, clean and fast! Even my father, a general contractor, was very impressed with their work. We will do business with them again!

After consulting with several local “window replacement” services including Window World, I had estimates that were wildly different in price and many different opinions on how to replace/repair my rotten sills. Rich from Window World assured me their service would cut out the rotten sills and replace them with vinyl sills that would look like they came with the house and that I would love my windows. And guess what? That is exactly what happened. A guy came and spent one whole day and half of the next day. He replaced all the windows with beautiful new ones and removed and repaired the sills perfectly. He was professional and efficient. There was not a bit of mess when he left either day. They were actually the most reasonably priced as well. These windows have changed my home because I can no longer hear the outside or my air conditioner unit. I highly recommend using them.

They deserve zero stars. I received a quote - which doubles as their contract. I told them it would be a couple months before I would be ready. The rep said that was fine. When I got ready to sign the contract and provide the down payment they refused to honor it. The contract did not have an expiration date and I had been upfront with the rep about the timing of the project. My rep was no longer with the company at the time so they sent out another rep. He raised the price and said that they would not even provide some of the services listed on my original contract. It should be noted that my family (immediate and extended) have worked with Window World for more than 20 years. Over that time weve purchased 250+ windows. Weve also recommended them to countless friends. Given the attitude of the new owners we will not be working with them again - ever. Ultimately I found a better company to do the siding project. Their price was lower and they do NOT use subcontractors.

When I bought my house in Wilmington, I knew the windows would need to be replaced as it could be seen that they were leaking by the home inspector. However, I did not want the cheapest windows possible, so I elected to do this myself once I owned the home. I knew that I wanted energy efficient windows from an accredited company. Window World immediately impressed me as that accredited company once my research began and continues to impress me with each and every interaction that I have with them. I saw that they had an A+ BBB rating, and when I called to inquire I spoke with Chris who was there for me every step of the way throughout replacement of not only my windows but my doors as well. Initially, I did not know that Window World replaced doors also, but Tanner who is a budding sales representative informed me that they did indeed replace doors with energy efficient doors, so I ordered doors as well. Tanner assisted me in choosing the perfect entry door to my home. His knack for architectural style impressed me combined with Chris’s professionalism throughout the entire process of directing his personnel in measuring, ordering, and installing the windows and doors. I also met Karen who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and polite during my process of choosing the proper entry door for my home. She was very impressive. Chris ensured that the same technicians installed my windows and doors with each step of the process, which I appreciated a lot. Their names were Ricky and Adam. Ricky, the Senior technician’s knowledge and expertise far surpassed that of what I had expected for a person who does windows and doors and his assistant, Adam, was almost ready to be on his own, so I ended up with TWO professionals who were polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and handled any problem with grace. I remain impressed with Ricky and Adam to this day and also know that they are the ones whom I will call on if I need anything in the future along the lines of windows and doors as they are truly experts in their field. However, with the level of expertise that I saw, I highly doubt I will need windows or doors in the near future! Very impressed!

We actually had all of the windows on the front of the house replaced by Window World but the last window in den when replaced mad a huge difference on the look of the home. Technician arrived on time was very pleasant and informative when we asked questions. We plan to replace windows back of home and were be using Window World as well. Great Job and very good look.

Im not one who impresses easily but I am over the moon with my new windows! They are beautiful and gives my house a new lookI havent had to move my thermostat either. Very impressed!

Took a year for 5 windows to come in and get installed. Had to replace them again! They have been here 4 different times. There is glue between the glass STILL not corrected. All they say is “we can re order them again” so maybe 5 or 6 more times there manufacturer will get them right?! So disappointed I didn’t pay more and go with Anderson windows.

The installers did a terrific job installing the windows very prompt. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but they installed the incorrect windows in the back of the house. Overall I would definitely recommend them for windows, very professional and very reasonable pricing!

Not the experience I was hoping for or thought I would get. When the salesman cam to the house he advised that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the windows installed but based on his calendar it would be more like 4 weeks. Needless to say it took the full six weeks and then delayed another week due to rain on the day the installed was scheduled so the install had to be reschedule for a week later and now come to find out two of the windows were not measured correctly so we are going to have to wait another 2 weeks to get those two installed. When I called Window World, Chris advised it was a human error and they are doing the best they can. I will update this review later with a review of the quality of the windows but as for Window Worlds speed and customer service, I am not impressed. If you order from them be prepared to wait

It took a couple of tries to get the right replacement window, but they kept at it and got it replaced. The guys that came out to replace the window were professional and took the time to do the job right.

Just replaced several windows installed by Window world, never installed properly, wind driven rain damage was the result. Contacted WW they denied, denied, denied. They may look nice when new, but the true test is after time. They failed.
