IS THIS HEAVEN?No, it the Veggie Wagon! Ive been going here for years, but not the Masonboro location, I just discovered it the other day driving down my favorite road in Wilmington, NC! I was originally going to write about the amazing Thai Wrap, but just this week while I was waiting in line, I saw the incredible flavors of milkshakes they offer, usually everywhere I go I ask if they have any non-dairy offerings and Im met with a NO, but not at the Veggie Wagon! The clerk got really excited telling me about the total vegan offering and my mouth was watering as she told me about it! My all time favorite flavor is Mint Chocolate Chip, so I asked for that after she told me she could make any of the flavors they offered in a vegan version.OMG!!! This was the best shake Ive had since giving up dairy when I hit my 40s, (almost 20 years ago). I sat in my car and devoured it before I even got out of the parking lot! What I really liked was the amount of chips they put in, which took me back to the salad days of daily D.Q. Blizzards, yes I used to eat one daily back in the day! What a treat, but yet there is more to this review!When I first found this new location (to me) a few weeks ago I tried the Thai Veggie Wrap and it was out of this world! Since then Ive driven over there for 3 more! Since becoming Vegan about 15 years ago, its been very hard to find anything that I really enjoy when I eat out, and when I do find a place, it seems like it closes down, but now I have a go too place to get a tasty, healthy lunch without breaking the bank!Last week, I went there to purchase the Thai Wrap for me, and the Chicken Salad Wrap for my wife to take out on our boat! It was perfect they come in great containers that keep everything protected and ready for a day on the water!If you have not been to the Veggie Wagon, what are you waiting for? They are awesome!

Great selection of wine and beer as well as bread, cheese, produce, and anything else you need in a pinch. Friendly staff and great daily specials.

We love this place. We get dinner to go/cook at home on Thursdays, and the kiddos get to pick out a piece of candy when we go in, they love it. Tonight I had to go by twice in order to get fresh ingredients for my fish taco dinner. Super fast in and out if needed, or a lovely relaxed place to eat a lunch and grab a pint.

Love this little local store! The milkshakes are my favorite in town and they have vegan options also. Great food, great beer, great sweets, great atmosphere!

Great location. Diverse selection of local favorites, friendly staff..Dill Egg salad and smoked gouda pimento cheese are our favorites.

After staying in the house for about 4 months except for essential outings my family embarked on a road trip. We have consumed cookies in each city that weve visited and hands down the warm chocolate chip cookies at The Veggie Wagon are the best! We consider ourselves cookie connoisseurs and the warm chocolate chip cookies at The Veggie Wagon are at the top of our list!

The spinach ricotta shells lack sufficient amount of tomatoe sauce. But more importantly the youngish dark haired girl at check out seems passive aggressive rude. I couldnt say she was friendly. I felt unvalued as a customer which is annoying considering my bill is always hefty when i shop there. Otherwise it offers many wonderful organic products. With the right team it could do better. Ill wait. 🥺

Great selection of homemade fresh and frozen foods. Homemade bread, local honey and jams. Wine and local beers on tap. Great place to explore!

I love this place! They have a little bit of everything including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free, plus traditional items and so much lovely fresh produce. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and my kiddos loved enjoying the gluten free pumpkin and dark chocolate muffin as a snack on the benches out front! Beer on tap, hot chocolate and cookie bars, and prepared frozen meals are all great.

Love this place great local shop for take and bake - really good local veggies and meat. Plus the french bread!

A wonderful assortment of specialty goods and the attendant was wonderful and so very helpful. Anything I needed, any question we had, she had an answer for and some suggestions. The ice cream sandwiches were wonderful and the gluten free cookies are the best Ive ever tasted!

What an amazing array of local vegetables, meats, sauces, and beers! And dont sleep on the candy selection either. Great atmosphere and just a cool place to hang.

Super cute gift items, and organic slushis and prosecco. Great place to stop for hostess gifts or picnic.

This little store is full of great surprises in snacks, cheeses, wine, take home meals and really nice wines. Awesome draft beer selections and the cherry cider is exceptional! Do not miss out on the experience.

Terrible customer service. Went in today looked around then walked out. Rude stares and they don’t greet you when you come in nor when you leave. If you get close to a customer smile, say hello, do something. They look like children that need to learn customer service.

This is a great local spot (2 locations). The Masonboro location had a super fun wine slushie tasting today. Also good take away food items.

There were so many good eating choices and decisions wine slushes. An all around fun shopping experience.

I love this place so much. Both locations offer unique and quality items. Places like this are what make Wilmington such a great place to live.

Oh my gosh, so much yumminess. This is closer to intown thats why i like it. The cookie ice cream sandwiches are YUM. They even have a big skillet they keep fresh cookies warm on. All kinds of frozen dishes you wont have trouble figuring out whats for dinner.

Such sweet people working! And the honey matcha latte is the bees knees! Its a really cool place!
