Let me start by saying you cant please everyone. Especially in this cancel culture world today but the people of farmers supply co are the greatest biggest hearted people i have ever had the privilege to know. The owner teddy Davis is a true man of integrity and faith and gives people chance after chance the long way when i myself would have been told them to hit the road. You dont fine hearts or real man hood like that these days i am thankful to know them all there and i am so happy there is a place and good people like them around just saying🙏☝😁💥💯✔

This place is amazing! The staff is very helpful and my yard looks like professionals handle it. They provided me with weed killer that took out all the weeds and made my grass flourish like no other! They have all kinds of plants and vegetables. They also have seeds if youre looking to grow from a seed! Very highly recommended!!!

Bought grass seed over 3 weeks ago. Prepped the back lawn and spread the seed. After two weeks they told me to fertilize and water. Watering everyday and after 21 days NOTHING! Called today to ask about the seed and was transferred to a manager.I was polite, said good afternoon and how are you doing today. Her reply was we are busy. Told her the issue and she asked what type of seed. Then basically told me that we are in a drought and i wasnt watering enough. I water 45 minutes a day 4 different zones that over lap. Her reply was thats not enough, water more then call me back. We obviously water enough for weeds to grow.

I love this place!! It has so much neat stuff and the staff is very knowledgeable! I love it so much I thought it would be an awesome idea to work here doing something I love!! Looking forward to my adventure with the Farmers Supply Family!!

I love this store!! Was looking for cat mint and the girl outdoors was very knowledgeable!! They had all the lawn fertilizer prevalent to our area.

I love farmers supply but would stay around and browse/buy longer/more if the chemical smell from pesticides etc didnt overwhelm the store. I appreciate them being there!

Guy leaning against register didn’t acknowledge anyone. Asked a question and he stayed leaning back and just said no. Completely worthless, walked out and went to Rocky Point. If you don’t have what I need and the staff is that lazy there’s no need to ever go here again.

I didn’t even go in. They claim to be a nutrena dealer but they had no idea about any grains I was asking about, and the person who answered the phone was completely clueless. They should probably educate their employees instead of just having them say “no we don’t have that” after not even looking into it or reciting the correct name of the product, and they might get some more business 🙄

Excellent knowledge from the inside crew. The two warehouse guys were extremely rude when I asked a question. They were too busy laughing to assist me! Left a terrible taste in my mouth for the overall experience.

Ive been a loyal customer for the last 3.5-4yrs. I use to drive from the Carolina Beach side of Wilmington out to TSC in Rocky Point for all my gardening supplies, chicken and pot belly pig feeds, and hay until I discovered Farmers Supply located in the center of Wilmington. Their prices and selection on feed and gardening items are comparable to TSC, but when I go to Farmers Supply they know my name, theres always someone from the staff there to answer any and all of questions, and load my feed and grains into my vehicle which is always helpful. The store is clean, well organized, of they need to order a specialty item the turn around time is usually 3 days, and they have the absolute best selection Ive ever seen of dried heirloom seeds and bulbs!!! Farmer Supply is my go to for all my gardening items and plants and seeds. The only issue Ive ever had is the store hours on Sundays and winter hours cause they do close early

Have been great friends with both owners over past 15 years. Also have worked with Richard Phillips tree nursery during the holidays, and love him as a boss, person, and company. The company sells THE BEST Christmas trees you can buy in Wilmington, nc hands down. Richard, old owner Lester, and current owner Teddy are the nicest guys and reputable. They will keep you satisfied and not disappoint.

***FREE Samples? Better 👀 again!!***Purchased several items and picked up a few FREE—-Sample Dog Foods. Cashier turns to me as I’m walking out the door and says we charge $.50 each for those sample bags. Not only did I pay her two dollars but she charges me $.14 in taxes!Upon further research contacting the two pet food companies they are not supposed to charge bags clearly say NOT FOR RESALE-I will never shop there again

Drove 40 miles prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on fall fertilizer and cover seed for our property and was not allowed to use the restroom because of Covid. The girl I asked for advice was rude and did not provide any insight or advice whatsoever while not wearing a mask! If youre going to follow coopers orders and use covid as an excuse not to clean your bathrooms then wear a mask, terrible customer service and assinine interpretation of rules from the state. Went to Site One where they spent 40 minutes helping me understand my lawn and reccomending the products I needed and I was allowed to use the restroom.

I like to go in Farmers Supply and look around. I wear my mask now. I bought some beautiful flowers that were marked down.

I visit often and I have never failed to find what I needed, and occasionally, something I didnt know I needed.This goes for the great advice they always seem to have in abundance.

Went to look for chicken supplies. Fully 300% more expensive than my normal place. $8 bag of pine shavings? $32. 50lb of cracked corn? $30, normally $5-10.Wasted my time driving across town. Stick to the name brand stores. I wouldnt consider this a farmers supply store, stick to tractor supply

Just as the name implies. Old time farmers supply store. Hay, straw, feed, seed, and myriad of other products. You feel like you just rode in from the farm in you buckboard for the weeks supplies.

This store needs 2 rating systems: 5 stars for great products and 0 stars for horrendous customer service. Frankly, Ive never dealt with such rude store employees. They make you feel like theyre doing you a favor by shopping there. If it werent for product selection and proximity, I would never step foot into this establishment again. Too bad Wilmington cant come up with a suitable competitor. Customers of Farmers Supply would run, not walk, to a garden store where business is appreciated.

We used to get our rabbit supplies from them, we now get all of our other pet food here. They know so many things about what products other domesticated animals need. I plan on going there tommorow to learn about what the best things are for chickens and also baby chicks.

Nothing like a neighborhood store. Like the old days. This place is full of experts and good quality merchandise. I learn something new everytime I am there.

Absolutely awesome to have downtown! Its a farm store - so if you know nothing about farming, just tell them in advance and you might avoid what some call rude. In reality, its ignorance on everyones part. Great selection! Seeds by the pound! Modern hydroponics - !!!

The staff there are very kind & know theyre products, when I was there 2 years ago. I plan on going back this week to see if they carry a Grass Grub Killer? Also, some food & Hay for my 2 pet rabbits Coco & Tippy! 🐇🐰

Great selection of plants,tools, supplies,etc. The only place in town I could find Sunpro professional soil mix for my plants.

Ive been going to them for over 10 years for Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Pigs and more. They are AMAZING in every way and I will never go anywhere else!

Sales associate by the name of Rayna was fantastic! So helpful with recommendations for items for my chickens.

Paid for a bag of fertilizer that they were out of, i waited several minutes before the warehouse person told me that they were out of stock, went back to checkout and informed the cashier there was no stock, got a refund the employees could use some customer service training......
