I have been going to the grill house for some time now. This weekend I was in the market for a steam pot. John the owner is awesome he took his time and explained the difference in aluminum and stainless steel pots. I ended up getting stainless with a new burner. I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. I did a seafood steam pot this weekend for family and friends boy I tell you it was amazing!!! Thanks John for your expertise every time I visit The Grill House!

Haven’t bought a grill here yet but staff was incredibly helpful. Spent at least half an hour going over over the capabilities of the different grills and how to use best use those capabilities. Clearly grilling is a passion for them.

They have a great selection of high quality grills and everything needed for grilling, plus a VERY knowledgeable and helpful staff! THE place to go for grills!

Im not ok with their zero tolerance mask policy especially when the undereducated owners are wearing masks with a check valve that allow them breath out unfiltered.And pretend to be compliant....I spend a lot of money there in a yr...Ill be taking my business elsewhere from now on! 👎👎

Good price on gas fill ups

Had exactly what I needed to hook up a natural gas grill. Couldnt find it at other stores. Also a good selection of grilling items you didnt know you needed, such as a basket to grill peppers.

Great people if they dont have what your looking for they will find it for you.

I have used this place for many years now to get my propane tank refilled. We grill year round and their refill price for a grill tank is very affordable. Also they have a wide variety of accessories and grills. Owners are very pleasant and highly knowledgeable from what Ive seen. Highly recommend this location!

My wife and I are planning a patio in our back yard with a gas grill. The “Grill House” store was recommended to us and we made a visit today. Let me say this is by far the best outdoor grill place we have ever visited, by far. The owners John and his wife Claudia were extremely helpful, polite, and I have never met any shop owner more knowledgeable about their products, nor more helpful in assisting us with making a choice. Our hour-long visit was totally delightful and we could not be more satisfied. It renews our faith in the local small businesses often being the best people to deal with. We will always shop at the Grill House, and we will tell everyone about our enjoyable experience. This store deserves to be very successful. They know the grill business better than anyone and know how to educate and please their customers.

They are very unprofessional they me gave the wrong part when I went back they charged me the difference on the cost of the correct part that was supposed to be included with what I paid the first time. It also had to be ordered which meant a 3rd trip to this business. I would not shop there again. I was also assisted with an attitude as if they were doing me a favor. Im a business owner and I make sure that my staff and my self provide the best customer service possible. A happy customer goes along way and brings additional business.

We are thrilled we discovered The Grill House. The owners, John and Claudia helped steer us to the perfect grill by asking questions about our grilling needs and expectations. They just delivered our grill today (for a very reasonable delivery fee) and John demonstrated all of its features. He also gave us tips on various creative ways we can use our grill. The owners have extensive knowledge and enthusiasm when it comes to grilling and they are very happy to share this with their customers. You can’t find a better place to purchase a grill. Oh, and the price was lower than the other place we shopped and assembly was free!

The lady was so helpful and helped me understand all the diffences between all of them and made my experience a pleasant one. I ended up going with a napoleon pro 500. Absolutely love it. Traveled all the way from Raleigh and took the day off to find that the store is closed for the week. Looked on website before leaving Raleigh to look at your hours and it said you were open. We have been in the parking lot for 5 min and two other cars drove in and out. We will buy a grill from someone else. Very disappointed. Update your website to reflect your hours☹️☹️☹️☹️

Very poor customer service not friendly at all. Also when I got home I used my propane tank pressure gauge this time and sure enough it was reading barely in the green just above low. Its cheap but they arent filling them up all the way. It felt light when I sat it in the car. Dont waste your time. Do an exchange for 12 dollars and get a full new tank each time somewhere else.

I have been going to the Grill House for 14 years and have bought two grills (Napolean), supplies and propane. I think Claudia and John are real pros. They know all about grills and grilling and are always willing to share their expertise. Without a doubt, the place to go...the best place in New Hanover County.

Used the Grill House Company to fix up an old propane smoker. She had all of the parts and things I needed to get it working. She even let me borrow her tape measure. Will always go here.

I still use my grill weekly at least, a MHP WNK, purchased about 20 years ago. We are exposed to salt air on the waterway and with normal maintenance all is good. Great people selling great products. My only grill and propane place.

They focused on what was ‘right’ for us, based on asking our needs and cooking goals, etc. They’ve always been courteous, knowledgeable and friendly over the many years we’ve been going there.
