Whats not to love? This is our go to place for anything we need in a hurry. Their prices are fantastic. Milk and eggs are killer! Check out their bakery - their stuff is fresh and they have a decent selection. Totally happy to have them in the neighborhood!

To Whom it may concern,Lidl is one of my favorite stores to shop at. For years I have been seeking some of the European flavors I miss here. These were found in Lidl with wonderful satisfaction and joy. Always, I had a great experience. Your line of products and prices are excellent, wonderful deals.A few weeks ago, I had visitors who were here for the first time in America. I drove for 2 hours to Wilmington for sightseeing, and one of the spots to stop by was Lidl( of course!) since it is the closest location.The experience from beginning to end was very disappointing. I felt that the store was stocking up since some of the rows had forklifts in the way. It was hard to navigate with the stroller, I as well as the cart. I was still able to continue my favorite routine to check everything in the household and clothing section. We found everything we wanted.When we got to the register, we experienced several issues. Some of the discounted items could not be sold due to being discontinued; some were ringing up at the wrong price etc. When the Manager on Duty came to help the cashier with our transactions, he was not particularly accommodating. He might have had a bad day, but he was being very argumentative. Having been in the service world and being a manager myself, one wants to avoid conflicts; especially being on duty representing Lidl. Mangers have to be mediators and try not to escalate to the point that the other customers are overwhelmed with the wait time.My foreign visitors were frustrated with the situation, since I had to translate back and forth with what was going on. I was trying to explain the situation to the manager and, “ he told me I do not have to take your attitude. I was seriously offended by the store manager’s response.After living in America for 10 years, for the first time I felt racial discrimination when he used the phrase, “ maybe you do not know, but in America we have ...” . I was upset to the point of crying.In total, all of us spent more than $400.00. This treatment by your employees will make me rethink where I want to spend my money and next time I will want to spend my money at Aldi.I will never return to this particular location because of the duty manager (Ryan or Kim, I am not sure who was the cashier and who was the manager). The whole situation was extremely upsetting.

Lidl is quite a nice compact grocery store. Fresh breads and bagels are available and very good produce and a great variety with reasonable prices.They have pretty much everything you will need to live a wonderful life.The prices throughout the store seem to be very reasonable.Competition is great to keep the competitors honest.

I adore this place. Not one complaint not one. Parking is plentiful store clean and well stocked. They have a little bit of everything.

Gosh, I love this place! Especially the limited time items. I mean... dolma?? Who has that?! Love their bargains and speedy checkout with double checkout lanes!

Great place to shop. Very good selection of German items. The made fresh bakery is the best Ive found in a grocery store. Lots of organic foods to choose from. Prices are great on most items a few things were over priced but with what you save it isnt enough to notice. They also have a section with all kinds of different items from blankets to outdoor items. Also have a section of imported chocolates and beer. The apple pastries were my absolute favorite from anywhere. Just sont forget to bring your own bags. They do have shopping bags and brown bags for sale at the register but you have to pay for them. Friendly staff and very clean store!

Awesome atmosphere to grocery shop in. Social distancing is in place. Cashiers and floor workers are very kind and helpful. Prices are outstanding. Meats are so fresh. A great variety of foods to choose from. My favorite store.

If you advertise that you have something on sale, make sure you have enough of it on hand so people dont waste a trip there! Super frustrating and why I shop at Aldi instead of Lidl most often!

This place was awesome. I managed to get a ton of stocking stuffed and various stuff. Now....keep in mind....none of this stuff was a need thing. it was all just cool stuff you generally wouldnt buy. Fun cheeses, giant baked pretzels...and so forth. Tons of fun.

Lots of organic products. Prices are great. Many options of food. I love the center isles that offer random stuff from men’s and woman’s clothing to garden stuff ! Kinda odd but I love it. Any employee that I have spoken to seemed to be really nice and very happy to be working there.

I dont like the layout of the oleander store as much as the Eastwood one. Some items do not seem to be sold at both store or are in different places. When grocery shopping you want to know what you can get where and Lidl is inconsistent.The check out can be aggravating for many reason... Lack of lanes open, rushing you thru or a checker having no clue... No bags, I get the savings And stuff by not having them, but theres a lot of newbies that hold up the line because of thisAlso, I feel a lot of the older citizens in town shop here for the savings, but with no bags or lack of the customer service they need, well, I dont like to see it happen.I like this store for many reasons, good deals, cool random stuff, but Id like a bit more stability.

I love the bang i get for my buck here! I definitely cut my grocery bill in half when shopping here! There is such great variety of things, very neat and clean! Just a very pleasant shopping experience. The only problem i have encountered each time i have shopped here is the short staff. Every time i go there is only 1 cashier and a very long line. Other than that, GREAT!!!

As always it was easy in and easy out! Found what I needed without any problem. The hard part is I like to look at everything, I never know what I might find. I love it!

Bright, new store. Goid choice of fresh vegetables. Some deals on seafood and meats. Like their family tea bags and coffee (columbian whole bean) A competetor has more tasty bread products and better miscellaneous items(shoes, baby wear, camping supplies, pots and pans,etc).

Amazing! We found so many great products with reasonable prices! Lidl is kind of like Aldi if you have visited an Aldi before. We will definitely be back.

I use to ove this place and shop there weekly but after more than a year, they decided to inact a mandatory mask policy. I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons and had never had a problem shopping in the store. Then one day after shopping for over a year in their store during this ordeal, they kicked me out. I have worked with the public from the beginning. My employer allows me to work, others appreciate my service, but Lidl all of a sudden decided to mandate masks after a year. As things are slowing down and getting back to a resemblance of normal, that took a HUGE step BACKWARDS. I was a humiliating day for me when they told me to leave after I had been in long enough to fill my basket. They wouldnt let me check out. I had to leave everything and leave the store. I was very upset and began to cry. A couple in the store purchased my items for me. They couldnt believe what they saw. Anyway, just a bad decision on Lidls part to change the rules after over a year. It makes those of us with true medical issues feel worthless.

My husband and I LOVE Lidl! What would be a normal haul at Walmart ($200+) is usually around $70-$100 there. They always have fresh goods, and lots of new things to try. Definitely would recommend downloading the app for additional savings as well!

Brought some nice options to the mayfair area, but I wish they had more imports

I like the things they offer here. I am having to get used to the check out ordeal. I really dont have time to watch the price Im being charged, give them my lidl Info for discounts, pay up and bag my groceries. How do mothers with children handle all of this. I guess they choose stores that are more helpful in the check out process. Lidl also has employee stand in lobby where you enter and they do nothing to assist with a clean cart during these covid times. Last week, they were totally out of towels to clean with and you would think the lobby employee would keep that area stocked. The store is clean, I can usually find their advertised items in stock.

Clean store with nice wide aisles. Employees were helpful & friendly. Everyone was wearing appropriate masking. Limited product selection. Lower prices compared to other grocery stores.

They have the Belgian chocolate shells Ive been looking for everywhere😆😆😆 the place is so clean and beautiful. Its like aldis so bring bags or boxes unless you wanna buy one or carry your stuff.

Ludl is always a fun shopping adventure! The store is clean and has lots of great options. Who knew that you can but grass fed NY strip stakes and bikini bottoms in the Sam place! All joking aside, great prices. Youll save a ton of money so its worth the stop.

So their isn’t a review section for the Oleander store so I’ll put it here. Terrible cold staff employed, This is the third time I’ve observed this store and the awful customer service at this location.They will walk all around you and in front of you and never say a hello or excuse me. Also third crackers, chips and snacks are old and stale. Wont return I’ll take business elsewhere

Great addition to Wilmington! The store brands are actually BETTER than a lot of name brands, bakery is to die for- the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are the best thing I have EVER TASTED. Also the fresh breads and donuts are basically perfect, couldnt ask for better.

Lidl is fairly new to this area. Right around the corner from where I work. Decent prices. Cheaper than the supermarket. Just found out another is opening closer to where I live.

I like the grocery items but I also like their middle isle that has some unique finds for cheap. Definitely groceries are way more reasonably priced here.

Lidls has AMAZING deals on daily items Six pack of quality paper Towels were6.99. Their eggs are. 49 cents. I will definitely be going there from now on. Make sure you take your own bags or you can purchase theirs at cheap price. I just bought whole chicken for $3. The Fairlife milk i drink is a dollar cheaper than where i usually buy it.

I like Aldi better, probably because I am used to their products and store layout. Prices at Lidl was comparable to Aldi, they do have a bakery. They did not have several things I buy weekly.

Nice clean attire. Had a nice variety of various products. Had some frozen foods that I have not seen in other stirred.

Love this Store, I save money when I shop here, cant wait for the Oleander Store opens, its closer to my home.

Its the sort of grocery store that will make you rethink why you shop at other grocery stores. The bakery - AMAZING! Produce - unbelievable! Imported goodies in every aisle! And everything is very reasonably priced!

I really like the store, i just wish i didnt have to travel over one hour to get there. and maybe the german selection could be a little more. because i am german. but i really really love my german bread.

Love the bakery... Great store but its to far to drive all the time from my house in Supply. I do make a trip once a month. Lots of discounts...Eggs were 59 cents for extra large. WOW

Love the store and the special deals. Went in today and snagged a lot of produce for 50% off. I am giving the store of Wilmington a 5 star but a 2 star for the service I received when I checked out. This was around noon time and the cashier was not welcoming. He waited as long as he could to start scanning my groceries. I was confused and asked if I needed to do something and he said, No, Im waiting because they time us. So he was just watching me put all of my groceries up on the belt ... I felt pressured to try and hurry while I was also carrying a child in my Ergo. I brought my own bags and had them ready to pack. He was tossing the groceries as fast as he could. I had potting soil on the bottom of my cart and I let him know. He said Id need to get it on the belt. I knew I couldnt do so with the baby so I wheeled my cart around for him on the other side. He was not going to help me lift it until I explained that I would appreciate if he could pick it up to scan it. He was annoyed that he had to do so. I then had a huge amount of groceries to bag while he stood there with no other customers in line. Even if its against policy to help bag groceries, even a smile or polite word would have been appreciated. Customer service is huge and I was very disappointed. Ill be back for the awesome selection of groceries, goods, and prices, but I will not enter his line ever again.

Wow! I loved shopping in this humongous store. Fresh, fresh, fresh fruits and veggies. 1.77 for a gallon of milk! Eggs are $.78 a dozen. If you dont believe me, try it for yourself. Itll cost you nothing to visit the store!

We love the rolls! Hands down, they are the best in the area. The water in this area does not support the baking of such delicious rolls. That is why we know they are not made locally, but baked on site.

Ahhhhh I drive an hour to this place thats how wonderful it is. Loved it back home in NJ now that Im in NC Im so relieved I have access to one. Neat clean store and staff is friendly and reasonable prices.
