Older store but clean and I always find what I need! Cashiers aren’t the friendliest but the prices are good and it’s easy to get in and out of.

One of the worst I have been to. Cashier just ignored me and went to sweep a rug then returns talking on the phone and never spoke a word to me but steady talking on her phone and her Convo was not nice absolute ridiculousness

I like shopping here but the carts are super bad. While walking in front of a car, crossing the road in front of the store, to go to my car parked in the food lion parking lot it stopped with the locking wheels. I am literally in the parking lot and the cart just locks up. Dangerous! Also I got a major bruise. If the technology for that isnt 100% you shouldnt have it because I, a paying customers who is using your carts the correct way, got hurt and put in a bad situation.

I never have a problem shopping here at this food lion plenty of hand sanitizer wipes for your hands and buggy I can pretty much find what I need here and some of the best prices .

While checking out at Food Lion, I met a cashier by the name of Joyce. She was an awesome employee, and very kind and helpful person. She bagged all of my order with care, and double bagged the heavy items after seeing me put one bag in another. She was very personable, smiled, and had good mannors. It is rare that you find a wonderful cashier like this these days. This employee deserves a raise!

Great Mgmt team here it shows with how well the store is operated. . This store is very clean, cashiers, staff always friendly and helpful. Shout out to Dwight who should teach a customer service class. Dwight is the best, goes above and beyond to help customers. Hes never to busy to assist. I love his personality and performance. All around nice store with a friendly staff. Prices are nice and normally theres enough cashiers so you dont spend to much time in line. Foodlion has a nice selection of products, some you cant find in other grocery stores.

Food lion is a great place to shop for groceries, I have a rewards card and it really gives you deep discounts and buy one get one free. The food lion brand products are high quality and there are a large selection for many things.I have found shopping there to be a good experience with short lines and All around good service. High quality products at a great price compared to Harris teeter, Publix, whole foods ECT and is a step up from Aldi.

Great prices... Not as much variety as the last time I was here. Im just guessing? Possibly to keep their costs down and perishable items from going bad.. Due to the pandemic?The produce and meet dept looked great!!! I still found everything I went in to buy...If youre going to a large corporate grocery chain. Food Lion definitely has the best prices in town!! Id like to say, Thank you Food Lion Employees, for working so hard and keeping us safe through these crazy times we are living!!! NC STRONG!!!

Everyone that I encountered that was on the staff for food Lion were very friendly and helpful. And all the product was very easy to find. And what great prices two for one five for five it was really enjoyable to be able to find such bargains. I would highly recommend this food Lion to anyone. GODSPEED

I wish that they had more cares for older people to ride in the store because some of us cant walk to good or have back pain so please ask your headquarters for more of them for your store.

Just another Food Lion grocery store. Not bad by any means, although they have a security person posted at the front of the store in the evening and night time every day. Not sure why as this part of town isnt the worst by any means. Regular shopper with no issues.

Store was pretty clean and had a selection of pretty much everything.

Very well stocked and friendly staff. Nicely organized. Also had someone cleaning carts which was nice.

The girl in here was slamming stuff around and I thought she was gonna drop my cake at the register. She wasnt mean per se but just horrible demeanor on them in here.

Super convenient to go shopping after working out at planet fitness. The place is neat and organized and the staff member who checked me out was super friendly.

All I have to say is coupon and shop and earn. Ive saved over 780.00 in the last 9 months being a food lion customer! Cashiers are nice to and they clean there carts for you!

I can spend 30 dollars and feed a family of 4 for 4 days til a week. The have the freshest local fruit in town for the best price. I can get a meal for under 10.00 dolars.

Glass in parking lot!! I let management know( for the second week) that there was glass in parking lot. Seems each time I shop there; I almost drive over broken glass!! I let them know both times and management said That happens here all the time. I know about it. Pretty laid-back response. Guess they are used to it?Employees are super friendly and I love shopping there. Prices are very reasonable, but be careful driving! 🌷

Really well stocked everytime I go in. There is good selection of vegan items. Wish they had a vegan pizza option but you cant have everything. The staff is friendly and helpful.

While on my vacation from PA. I was excited to try a food lion. The store was great until I got to cashier 211 who was on reg 5 at 1706 on Dec 28. He was the most ignorant employee I had ever met. I had a tear in one of my dollar bills and he told that the dollar wasnt acceptable. The entire dollar bill was there it just had a huge tear in it. He rudly told me he wouldnt accept it. I almost dropped my groceries and walked away but I didnt. I gave him a different bill. I will never shop at another food lion if there training there employee to treat there customers like garbage.

Getting better..... Your normal neighborhood grocery store. Staff is nice.... store is pretty clean.... Liking the new checkout they take your groceries out of the basket now (yay).... Only thing is the produce section could expand a little... they dont have the large containers of spring mix I can get elsewhere... and the produce can be a bit long on the self, if you know what I mean. Just check your produce from there really well and buy yourself some green bags if you gonna shop there much....

Usually l dont mind going to food Lion. I lost my MVP card and not gotten New 1 in the mail yet. Most of workers used the store card but not this 1 lady. She did for ppl ahead of me but twice wont use it for me and I asked. She didnt even say no, just didnt use it.As for the store its where I go always everyone else is great dealing with.

This food lion is a bit sketchy at times, but always enjoyable! The diversity is enjoyable, and the deals are good. Im not sure how, but this grocery store sheds the fake atmosphere that most try to portray. Its a grocery store with food. No overpriced bells and whistles.

Dont know which one you are asking about. The one on East Market Street is great. The one on West Market Street needs improvement in the tobacco dept.
