Great Saturday farmers market. They have hard to find items and a very good variety! If youre into mushrooms, this is your place... Have Lions Head mushroom even, which are very good for your memory! Have a lady who will set up a beehive for you too, and maintain it once a month... Very good selection at this market!

I love this store especially the way it smells so natural. Sometimes a little pricey but that is why I have an ownership and shop when there are sales!! The barrista is my favorite the natural juices and the coconut green goddess smoothie!! 99% of the time I bypass trader Joes and whole foods due to tidal creek being smaller and homely! Shout out to Jerry in the cafe!! Shalom

I love shopping at Tidal Creek. You can buy in bulk local honey, almond butter, peanut butter, soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil, and all the essentials to create your own bath products. The smoothie/Juice bar/ cafe has a wide variety of healthy snack or meal choices. I tried the “bloat away” juice which had a shot of CBD in it. Although the taste was less than to be desired after only an hour later I was feeling much better. The selection, prices and service are all excellent. Make sure to check out the local farmer’s market. You won’t regret it.

I wish this place were not so far from where I live. Its by far my favorite grocery store, but I dont always have time to make the 25-minute drive when I need something....It may not always have every item you are used to buying, but chances are it has a healthier alternative to that item. If your priorities are your health and the health of our planet, then this is your best place to go for clean water refills, organic produce (mostly locally sourced), healthy vegan options, a delicious coop-cafe, - and no Prime Member or Preferred Customer gimmicks! Yes, there is an ownership option, - thats the nature of a co-op. But most people who chose to become owners do so to support the availability of organic produce, non-toxic products and the support of other non-profits in our community.

Great selection of local produce and organic products. Also I have had some very nice employees that Ive interacted with but others have been so past the point of rude that unfortunately I will NEVER return to this store neither will any of my friends or family (yes it was that bad) Makes me sad since I really love to try to support local businesses. Just so disappointed

We were recommended Tidal Creek Co-op by an acquaintance and once we visited, we never looked back! The co-op is great for sustainable grocery shopping, as they have many bulk options including spices, oats, grains, etc. They have many wholistic options, including a vast selection of vegan options. Tidal Creek makes finding vegan food super easy, which isnt always the case in some grocery stores, and is my favorite place to purchase vegan ingredients and meals. We are now frequent shoppers at Tidal Creek!

Our daughter traveled with a mission trip from the mid west to help repair flood damage in Wilmington. She has many food allergies and cannot eat like other teens. Jesse at Tidal Creek put our minds at ease with his understanding of the situation. Upon arrival, our daughter picked up individually packaged meals and snacks for each day of her trip. Jesse was careful to avoid cross contamination. He rose to the challenge, creating nutritious and delicious meals to power her through her work. Comments from our teen include This tastes TERRIFIC! Jesse also waited at the store, to ensure our teen and chaperone were informed about reheating instructions. She loved the meals and snacks. Bravo Tidal Creeks, Jesse! You helped a girl feel more normal, and added joy to her trip. Its a big deal when you cant eat like everyone else. People like Jesse, who share their kindness and skill, create life changing experiences for others. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. James and Tammy

Tidal Creek is one of the best things about Wilmington. There are a handful of local places I love, and this is one of them. The sense of community in the store is evident, and I enjoy being there. Two starts...one for each pleasant staff member. The lady at the deli was very helpful and nice; as was the younger man with long blond hair at the register. The elderly man, after I said hello TWICE did not acknowledge me, wouldn’t look at me, did not answer either of my questions...nothing. I decided not to buy anything and left. When I looked back at him he was super nice, i.e., laughing and talking with the family behind me. I don’t know and really don’t care what his issue was. All I know is anyone with that kind of nasty attitude representing a company like that needs to either stay home or work in the back. OAN: The lady made a great Hampton Hemp Smoothie

Excellent local cooperative grocery. They have excellent groceries and natural bulk grains and goods, and they are happy to do orders for anything else you might want. They a hot bar with daily themed food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a salad bar. They have a great little deli / smoothie counter with a variety of delicious options, as well as some great vegan baked goods. They have an outdoor eating area, and (as of spring of 2017) they are having regular outdoor events every two weekends, as well as local beer and wine tastings. If you have suggestions for them, please make it - they have a board where they actually respond to the individual suggestions. They are a coop, so theres a yearly membership fee, and with that you get monthly coupons for discounts. Most of all, its a great community of people.

A small co-op with top quality Health food. The produce isnt always fresh enough but it is largely local, farm grown. I love that they have bulk bins that allow you to buy only what you need. The food selection is great, though the prices can be a bit steep. Despite that I do like to shop here because the selection can not be beat. They also have hard to find items, but very good and I mean VERY GOOD Deals on flours, beans and unique flour substitute.I also love that is a Co-Op, a business model that is hard to do, but some amazingly resilient. I do look forward to a potential move, but fear them leaving the current location. If that should become the case i look forward to the new location downtown if near the Isabel Holmes Bridge. It would be much easier to get to and avoid a lot of traffic issues, place have excellent rent prices.

Tidal Creek is my favorite go-to store at least weekly and sometimes daily- -(my yoga center is upstairs in the same building)! There is a perfect stock of the basics, as well as unusually good on-site pre-made and frozen selections for convenience, and current fresh produce; the juice and lunch/ dinner bar are unusually good- the kitchen is obviously well run by an excellent chef. Very friendly folks and remember to join, since as a member the discounts add upnicely . Smaller shops like this are my style for finding exactly what I want without a lot of noise and items I am not looking for.

Pros: Awesome salad and hot bar which are very reasonably priced, great little cafe attached which is one of my favorite spots to study or work, numerous vegan options. 5 stars for atmosphere and food.Cons: HORRIBLE customer service. Dont get me wrong, I am a member here and will continue to come for the food. But I am torn because almost every time I come here I have a terrible experience with the staff. I have passive aggressively been asked to pack up my computer and leave more than 30 minutes before closing, I tried to correct someone who rung me up incorrectly for an item and then they refused to change it, I only get my member discount half of time but let it go to avoid an argument, etc... And the last time I was in I accidentally wrote the weight of the spice instead of the weight of the jar on my bulk purchase (GOD FORBID) and when I realized it at the cash register, the woman checking me out became very angry with not only me but anyone else who came into contact with her, she started sighing and slamming the jars down on the counter, and when I apologized she didnt even say anything. Who acts like that?!?!?! 1 star for customer service .
