Trade-in value as quoted, car price as quoted, no hassles, no surprises, fairly short process, and we left with a 2021 Hyundai Sonata Limited 1.5T. 5k miles in the car, and it is a technological marvel. Unexpectedly I had to drive my Palisades from South Florida to Wilmington. Once I was in Wilmington I realized that I would exceed my mileage for my complimentary service before I returned home, which would have voided my service plan. The dealership was already booked for the next 4 weeks but after explains my situation they got me on a moments notice to keep my plan from being voided!! Much appreciated!!!

This place is NOT what you expect from a dealership. To preface this review I went to Hendrick Mazda in Wilmington one week before and it was an absolute nightmare. So I was skeptical about another dealership. Well, I emailed and requested an application for a lease. They had me approved in minutes. I drove down and they had the two cars for me to test drive ready to go. The salesman Jimmy Todd, was knowledgeable about the cars, professional, very friendly and just like the others I dealt with here, very down to earth. I leased a brand new Sonata Limited and LOVE this vehicle! Wow. They were quick with the paperwork, the finance person was great, not pushy or upselling anything. I forgot the finance guys name but him, Jimmy Todd and Brent (a sales manger I believe) made this an EXTREMELY pleasant experience. I hardly ever write reviews but these guys and this place deserve a good one.

Dropped off my Hyundai Sonata here on a Sunday early July 2021 with a flashing check engine light which suddenly occured while traveling for vacation. Received a call next day from the service department notifying me of an engine internal bearing failure which luckily enough was covered under a recall notice. I was told a complete engine replacement was required for no charge and in the interim, a rental would be provided to me to use from Hertz. I received my car a week later, signed the paperwork, and was on my way. The customer service was exceptional during the entire process and definitely recommend Parkway Hyundai to all.

Parkway Hyundai is a great dealership. The Hyundai Brand is at the top of its game right now. At Parkway, the salespeople are friendly and engaged. Service is very good and you cannot beat the warranties and service agreements for a brand new car. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a quality car at a quality price.

These people are very accommodating and understanding of my needs. I use their valet service because I suffer from agoraphobia and it is very hard for me to leave my house, especially to cross the river over into Wilmington causes me great anxiety. Them coming and picking up my car and returning it to me is most appreciated! HOWEVER, they have always washed it before returning it until this last time. Instead they sent me a coupon for a free car wash at a place IN WILMINGTON! Get it? So I have to drive into WIlmington, which is exactly what I cannot do because of my anxiety!

I only gave a five-star rating for the good service Helen Connelly at Parkway. I also have no complaints with the Parkway dealership itself. However, Hyundai America does not back their products and I do not recommend that anyone buy a Hyundai-ever. Hyundai gets a 0 star from me. So let the buyer beware. I have a Genesis--Hyundais top of the line vehicle. Ive had transmission problems prior to the 100K warranty and Hyundai America and the dealership where I previously lived pushed off my problem until after my 100K warranty expired. Now that I am just over the warranty mileage, Parkway properly diagnosed my problem and said that I need a new transmission at $6400. AMAZING! Parkway pleaded my case to Hyundai America twice, but the mother ship refused to help me. On top of this, Hyundai even acknowledges that they have transmission problems with their Technical Service Bulletin 12-AT-011. So it just stands to reason, if this is how Hyundai treats their Genesis customers, what will they do to their Sonata, Elantra, and other customers who didnt buy their premier car? There are too many other good choices out there--Toyota, Nissan, Honda . . . please look past any little extras Hyundai may offer for the same money. Its a hollow product with no backing from Hyundai America. Spend your hard-earned dollars elsewhere.

He was in constant contact with us via phone or text, and when we arrived to take delivery of our vehicle, all the documents and vehicle were prepped and it was a seamless transaction!!

I bought a new Palisade a few weeks ago and this dealership was absolutely incredible & super helpful throughout the whole process! Phillip was the salesman that helped me and was extremely patient with my questions & being indecisive about which model & color. Never again will I ever purchase a vehicle from parkway Hyundai I feel like I am just a number to them I bought my car November of 2019 from them it’s a lemon I’ve been through 3 motors and 2 transmissions last transmission had to be replaced due to tech error I have tried several times to get in contact with Mary Margret or even the owner of the dealership and nobody has gotten back to me ever about the situation my car a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GTI have probably about at least 25-30k dollars worth of warranty work done to the car the car has been on the back of the tow truck at least 17 times in under two years because it broke down and all Hyundai has done is fix it and then within a couple of months it breaks again it’s pretty sad that a dealership my family has done so much business with over 20 years now doesnt want to take care of there customers and once again after my car being back on the road 2 months again the car is having Issues
Bought my 5th Hyundai this week. Bob Hart has been very helpful over the years with my purchases. Never have had a problem with any of them. Mary Margaret Vann has an excellent organization with fair prices and dependable vehicles. Would recommend checking out their cars whether youre looking for an inexpensive or luxurious ride they have what you need.

Parkway Hyundai is the best dealership in Wilmington. I’ve now shopped and purchased three vehicles in this area. (2 at Hyundai) not only are the cars super reliable but the sales personnel is amazing. I had my Santa Fe for two years and had zero problems and simply wanted to upgrade my car. I went and tried out the all the cars in the same class. Nothing compared to the Hyundai’s. The team at parkway is simply unmatchable. I was able to request my same sales man (Mitchell) who works at Volvo now. The entire process was seamless again. I didn’t have to be harassed or pressured. If you go to Hyundai you will never be disappointed!! A few of the stand out employees were Mitchell( best salesman) Bob (showed me all the great features on my Palisade, super sweet and funny guy), Brent ( got me the best pricing), and the finance manager I think his name was Brian!Big thank you to Hyundai for all the help and support!!!

I have now purchased my last four cars from Parkway Hyundai. Wilmington NC has a plethora of Automobile Dealers but the large majority of Dealers are owned by large conglomerates. Parkway Hyundai is still family owned and offers the highest quality of sales and service of any Dealership in the area. The last three times I purchased a car from Parkway I was cared for by Bob Hart, Salesman, Leasing Agent. Bob has been an extreme pleasure to deal with in every aspect of every purchase. Bob is extremely knowledgeable about every vehicle Ive inquired about and from the moment I walk in the door until the moment I drive off in a new vehicle Bob does absolutely everything within his ability to make sure I receive the best of every aspect of dealing with Parkway.. This level of customer service and satisfaction is what separates Parkway from other Dealers and this service is across the board in the dealership in every department. When I take vehicles in for service I am assigned a personal representative, I am contacted by them and am given their cell phone number so I can contact them at any time with any question or issue. The customer service in the financial department is rude. Every time I call I get the same disrespectful male rep with broken English. Today he was yelling at me and wouldnt connect me to his supervisor. He see I wasnt arguing with him anymore so he pretends like he cant hear me talking and start saying hes going to disconnect the line because he couldnt hear me. And really did not let me talk to a supervisor Not all the reps are bad but this guy has a attitude like a scorn female. Its a shame you cant call in to ask question about your bill without having to argue with a rep.

Terrible communication, awful experience after the sale.I bought a car in September 2020. The dealership did not have the title for the vehicle and did not inform me of that. I found out, in December, when I got a letter from the DMV stating that I had a lapse of insurance for my old vehicle that I traded in. I called the dealer and they claimed that it was being processed and that they usually dont bother customers with stuff like this. It took 6 months AND my bank filing with the License and Theft Bureau AND me filing a complaint with the Attorney General to get this resolved. What bothered me the most through this was the lack of communication. They would not call me or my bank. I was told so many times that it would be a week and be ready, or that I would get a phone call the following day and I would not ever receive the call or the call would be a week late. I would have much rather had a call stating that said hey we are still working on this and just wanted to touch base, rather than no call at all. I had no confidence that they were doing what they said they were doing. I will NEVER go to this dealership again and NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone.

Worst experiences ever. If I could give it a zero star I would. First time I went there I informed the salesman of what I was looking for and to have him work some numbers and give me a call. Never heard from him. I have a car that needs to be traded ASAP. I then gave them another chance today being that the first time I went was the end of the year and they were most likely busy. However AGAIN same thing. The salesman showed no interest in helping me find a car to purchase today. I feel like they wanted nothing to do with me or my money. They didnt offer to look around or help get me the car I was interested in today. This is disappointing because this would be the 3rd purchase from a huyndia dealership and I have only had good experiences in the past. Stay far away from this dealership.

Used the Costco auto program to purchase a new “value trim” Elantra. The savings were significant which allowed the salesman ( Ian) more time to devote to the things that are important to the custom rather than waste time haggling over the price. I found the staff very knowledgeable and friendly to deal with. Ian was a wealth of knowledge with a great personality. Really nice to work with him!
Service advisors are informative, courteous, and knowledgeable. Service is always completed on schedule, and vehicle is returned clean and ready to go. I would not take my Hyundai anywhere else.
Helen Connelly was my service rep and she is always very thorough in explaining what services will be done. Upon completion she reiterates exactly what services were performed. Also she will let me know if a particular service is not needed at this time so I do no incur additional charges. Much appreciated.
They were timely with my repair and I didnt have to wait longer than what theyd told me. Everyone there is friendly and professional. Following my repair, the front passenger seat of my car was very dirty but they gave me a voucher to get a free car wash. I expect the dirt not to be problem and appreciate that they provide this voucher.

Then when it was apparentthat they would not be able to finish he rented me a car form Hertz so I could get home and take care of my dogs.
