If I could leave 0 stars or less, I absolutely would. I want everyone to know how much of a HORRIBLE experience it has been dealing with this business and if given the opportunity, shop ANYWHERE else.In August of 2020 my fiancé and I bought a mattress from here. First big purchase together and we were SO excited. The staff was helpful and nice; to say we were happy at first would be an understatement! Then, things took a turn for the worse. The mattress immediately started to sink, (literally within 2 weeks), so we called and someone was sent out to see if it needed to be replaced: it was deemed defective, so we were told we’d be getting a replacement.We are very understanding that there were warehouse issues due to the pandemic. Things were on back order, so we were forced to wait longer than we would’ve wanted. (8 months to be exact). During this time, (in the beginning), I spent countless times calling (maybe twice a month) with little to no new information. Again, I kept my understanding- I’ve worked in jobs where there are literally issues out of the control of the workers, so I would never take this out on the staff. HOWEVER, I do hold them accountable for their lack of communication. I was told that I would be contacted and updated: I never was. It always took me having to call, leaving me feeling like a bother. FINALLY after MONTHS of horrible nights sleep, and not having called/been contacted in MONTHS, I called in April 2021 for an update. This is when they nonchalantly said, “oh yeah! We can get it to you within the next two weeks!” While I was finally excited to have a good nights sleep to look forward to, I have to be honest, I was extremely frustrated that it felt like they didn’t care that this issue needed to be resolved ASAP and they hadn’t communicated AT ALL.Finally, the mattress comes in early May 2021. FINALLY. Except now, the delivery workers tossed the old mattress right on top of my laptop, completely cracking it and deeming it absolutely broken.I can’t say it enough: MISTAKES HAPPEN. We’re all human. However: I’ve reached out to the staff, seeing if in light of my already frustrating experience and now damage to my property, there would be some type of reimbursement. Free mattress pad, money, ANYTHING. Once again, I was told I would be contacted, was even told to email photos!! (which I did immediately). Utter silence. No communication, no care in the world.I’ve been to other businesses, asking them if this is how they conduct their business, explained the situation in length to others and I’ve been reassured that this is horrible business. This treatment is absolutely against everything this company apparently “strives for”.Long story short, if you want an enjoyable experience: GO ANYWHERE ELSE. If you want to actuallybe cared for as a customer: GO ANYWHERE ELSE. If you want to be communicated with, effectively: GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Excellent experience start to finish! From a phone call to get more info, to the experience in the showroom, to the delivery, everyone at Home Mattress Center was professional, kind, and helpful. We purchased our mattress on Friday afternoon and it was delivered before 10 AM the next Monday.

We have bought all our mattresses from Home Mattress Center since we moved to Delaware in 2002. All the sales people are very professional and nice. Most recently I had the pleasure of being assisted by Dave. He spent over an hour helping me select a mattress for my daughters new bed. Unfortunately the bed we bought was a very strange in between size and when the mattress was delivered it was too small. My daughter and I went back to Home Mattress Center to get a bigger mattress. Dave was super nice about the mix up -- even though it was the other companys fault not Home Mattress Center. Not only did we get the mattress we needed the next day, but they did not charge us the delivery/restocking fee they had every right to do.

Needed a mattress for a friend who is ill and called Home Mattress center. This is by far not my first dealings with this locally owned store. Earl went out of his way to not only insure we made the right choice of mattress, but to get it delivered the very next morning. It came at the time we were told the delivery men were absolutely professional in every way. Thank you Home Mattress Center for a job well done.

Cant say enough good things about my experience with this company. I live over 3 hours away and needed to get a new bed for my mom. Earl took the time to explain options to me, arranged for delivery when we needed it and gave us a great deal! Now I know why their reviews are so strong. Fantastic all around!!!

If you need a mattress, this is the place to go! They have a huge selection of mattresses to pick from for every budget. The salesmen arent like car salesmen, like Ive seen at other mattress stores. Simply the best place to buy a mattress. Super friendly, no pressure atmosphere makes it easy to browse among all the different mattress types, models and brands. Prices were very competitive. The sales person listened to my wife and I, and made some solid suggestions. Their delivery service made the buying process easy - as they even setup our new mattress in our home and took the old one away. Highly recommend!

There is no real way to buy a mattress online you just have to feel it for real. Home Mattress Center has been around since the 70s and Ive purchase every bed Ive needed from them.

I bought 2 mattress at a furniture store for my grandchildren. My husband wanted to purchase the same mattress for ourselves. I insisted on going to Home Budget Mattress because they specialize in mattresses. I expected the salesperson would be able to recommend the mattress best for us. I told him I needed a firm mattress or I have back problems and that I did not like memory foam. I layed on a mattress he recommended for 5-10 minutes. I questioned if this mattress would support my back. I was told this was new technology and would support my back while not put pressure on other areas. After sleeping on this mattress for 3 hours, I woke up with back spasms, which has never happened before. It was by far the worst mattress I ever slept on.When I return to the store, a different salesperson questioned why I purchased that mattress, it’s not supportive. I told him that was what was recommended by th eir salesperson.I had to pay $199 return fee to replace the mattress.Overall I payed three times the amount of the mattress at Furniture and More.I later found out you can purchase a mattress at Wayfair for a fraction of the cost I payed, try it for 100 days and exchange free of charge.

This family owned business doesnt play any games with you, unlike the salesmen at Paymour. Earl was extremely helpful and descriptive with each mattress type. Delivery time was punctual, excellent deal. One of the greatest selling points is that they dont price lock name brands thatother big box stores claim to be locked, and this place offers the best financing you can get PERIOD. Other places kept bragging to me about 6-12 months zero interest. This place gave me 3 years zero interest, zero down. Incredible! You owe it to yourself to do your own research and pick a mattress that works for you, but I landed here after a full day of searching and couldnt be any happier with my choice. I would definitely come back.

Zach was extremely helpful and thorough. He conducts the internet sales for Home Mattress Center. I was on a very tight budget but did not want to settle for an unknown brand mattress. He was willing to work with me and show me several upscale models that had been previously used as demos in the Showroom. We went back and forth a little on a Stearns and Foster Mattress but it was simply too far out of my budget. I ended up purchasing a Serta Hybrid mattress and box spring set from him which was within a few dollars of my budget. Brought it home the same day and could not be happier with my purchase or experience. Thanks Zach, I already have two more customers lined up for you this week.-Fred
