I will definitely NOT be taking my car back here. I went there because I couldn’t get into my normal mechanic for an oil change, tire rotation, and to change the brake light. However, after leaving, I see why they were able to fit me in. Upon leaving, I heard a loud noise while driving. When my husband was able to check in, 3 of the lug nuts were so loose I could take them off with just my hand, no tools needed. Thank goodness we checked it when we did and did not lose the tire or get into an accident. Furthermore, the rims of all of my tires were scratched up and were not like that before I went in. When I called, I spoke with the manager Leon. Though he acted concerned, he said he would call corporate Monday when they opened and get back in touch with me early in the week. Here it is Saturday a week later, and I called him. No apology for the lack of update, and he said there was nothing they can do. I will be calling corporate Monday, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone due to the poor service and severe lack of professionalism.

Worst mechanic shop of my life, went in for a simple diagnostic that was said to be about an hour and end up sitting in the lobby for 3 hours just to find out my car was used for one of the mechanics lunch break and store runs, when he finally returns he has food, snacks, cigs etc. And I was told Im not the only person Derrick Mullis has done this to. The manager needs to be held accountable as well because he knows this is happening and isnt doing anything to deter it.

I went in with problems with my car and paid the asking price for services received, only to find out it didn’t fix them problem. I didn’t get but a mile or less down the road before realizing it had the same issue. When I called them about it, they said I’d have to come back the next day to get it looked at. I later found out that the services received were WAY overpriced. Not only this, but the price was unchanged from the previously quoted price discussed over the phone with other services included that were not done.

If you value your money, or your vehicle, do not come to this business. I brought my vehicle in to diagnose and repair a few issues, including a noisy power steering pump. I was told the vehicle would need an entirely new steering rack, as it was leaking and causing the pump to fail, as well as a pump and some very expensive hoses. Almost 2k, sure, ok, I knew it needed work. By the time I got the truck back that became $3200 after new CVs.Before I even got out of the parking lot I noticed that the airbag light was staying on where it never did before. I brought it back, and the technicians determined that the airbag clockspring needed to be replaced, and admitted that it was likely due to a mistake made during the replacement of the steering rack. They at first attempted to charge me 50% of the part and 100% of the labor! Even when pushed, they refused to stand behind their work and made me pay $130 for them to fix an issue they created (and made the vehicle unsafe to drive). At this point I knew I would never come back to this location, but as it turns out the story is not over.The very next day, the (brand new) power steering pump began to make noise again, and all of a sudden it became apparent in my driveway that I was leaking fluid from my front end. So I took my business elsewhere, as it became clear to me that this shop was dishonest, though to what degree I had no idea yet. As it turns out, the transmission cooler lines were leaking, where there was never a leak before - and the power steering system had lost nearly all of its fluid (A brand new system all around!) which caused premature power steering pump failure.In addition, it was noted and I was physically shown by the manager of Mr Tire on Airport Blvd, Caleb Waters, that my front struts were sagging so low that the brand new CV axles were at a dangerous angle and liable to snap while driving if not corrected. Unlike Precision Tune, he was more than willing to work with me and help me out with the repair and is continuing to be entirely transparent throughout the entire process. The truck will soon be free of the problems that suddenly appeared when Precision Tune worked on it (Including the same parts they replaced...) - I wouldnt trust them to change my oil, let alone replace a suspension component.I personally know someone who had a CV axle snap on the highway. Fortunately they survived uninjured. My family may not have been so lucky. Stay away.

I went to this location on 3/12/2021 for a tire repair and was there for 3.5 hours! Upon walking in, I asked how long the wait would be and was told it would be an hour, hour and a half. (I came to find out this is what they tell everyone who asks the same question, regardless.) My car sat in the parking lot for 2 hours before a technician started on the job. At least 3 other customers during the time I sat there were complaining about how slow the service was. I had a flat tire that needed to be patched but was told that it would need to be replaced all together. The cost of the tire that I was quoted was nearly $100 more than when I purchased the exact same tire somewhere else. After I agreed (because at this point Im just ready to get out of there), my car sat for another hour before the technician put the tire on. Presumably, the tire had to be ordered and brought to the location, which is ridiculous if you are in the business of selling tires. When they finally finished, I mentioned to the front desk staff how long I had been there and just got a blank look - no apologies, nothing. Time is money. Definitely dont waste your time by coming here. Maybe they were having a bad day, but thats 3.5 hours of my life Ill never get back!

I bought a car and took it to them for diagnostic. $4200 for transmission, brakes, 2 tires, and few other things. Car is now overheating and transmission and brakes still not fixed! They had my car for 6 days and only worked on it for 2 of those days. I know have to take it back so they can fix it properly! Ready for this to be over! Customer service is horrible too.

Capable mechanics but usually there is a long wait. I got lucky came right after stormy weather and didnt have to wait long.

Took my truck in for an alignment after I installed new parts. After leaving I noticed it still wasnt driving quite straight. I took it back 2 weeks later as that was the soonest I could take it back there and they got it right for me at no extra charge or hassle.

Wait was over TWO hours for an oil change and there were only four people ahead of me. The guy at the desk had zero personality. And then after waiting forever tried to get me to spend more and more money. I understand that wanting to make money but I felt like he was trying to hustle me. Then with a synthetic oil change its like two oil changes and you dont have to g9 back as frequently. Well I guess he thought I didnt know that because according to Ill need another oil change in 3000 miles. Never again

No knowledge whatsoever of a/c issues. And they dont care if it is fix or not!

Precision tune auto care took excellent care of us out of towners when we broke down on the road several weeks ago. We were stranded for several hours after the diagnosis of a busted transmission and Nate went out of his way to take care of us and even found us a buyer to buy our car so we wouldn’t have to worry about leaving it and going back out of town. The care and empathy they displayed is worth more than just mentioning. Thank you so much precision tac for treating us like family and more!

Although,they were extremely busy,they made the wait very comfortable.They also kept me updated as to when I would be next.

Donald and the other gentle man at the front desk We’re very nice and managed to squeeze me in because I explained to them I wasn’t comfortable driving due to a vibration. Pete services my vehicle and brought me into the shop to show me in detail everything he found wrong and explain why it would be causing an issue as well as taking the car for two sewerage test drives to ensure everything was okay. Very dependable people. If I lived here they would without a doubt be my regular maintenance shop. Thank you guys!

I walked in, met Nick behind the counter and was treated with respect and kindness. The whole team was kind and knowledgeable. Fair pricing. Nick will let you know what really needs to be done on your vehicle and what can wait. I was so glad that my car had issues near them. I would definitely recommend this shop. This is not a knock on the work but on the deployment of service. Had my own oil and filter and still more than an hour and a half wait for the couple of cars ahead of me(20min job). Literally watched my ticket get pushed back several times. I know it wasnt a big money ticket, but Id appreciate more if you say its gonna be a while before we get to you or you might be better served going to one of the quick oil change places around the corner.

After breaking down today for the first time ever, I was towed to Precision because I wasn’t able to find anything else opened on Labor Day. After having a panic attack on the side of the road, I was towed to this destination and finally calmed down a little. I walked in around 4:30 knowing they closed at 6 but hoping they could do something so that I could get back on the road again home. From my first contact with the gentleman st the desk, I felt at ease. He was knowledgeable and his crew around him were helpful...along with having positive attitudes. Which I desperately needed in my hour of need. Knowing good and well I had an alternator and battery issue, he confirmed that and then quoted me. After having another panic attack on the price, I had no choice. I had to get back home to Virginia. It’s just the name of the game. He walked me through my options and explained why it was so much. After waiting for about an hour or so, they had me up and running and even worked with me on the price. Which...cue the tears. This was the best customer service and if I lived in Wilson, I would definitely be returning to them. Thank you for taking care of me and not robbing me blind! And thank you for getting my car running smoothly to make the safe trip back home!

Assistant Manager Nick is on the ball. Techs didnt pay attention to OE specs for oil and instead followed Precision Tunes interpretation of what factory spec should be. Simply said - WTH??? When discussed with Nick he simply made it right. It shouldve never been wrong in the first place, I did lose 1.5 hours more of work due having to return to the shop. But overall if youre on the ball, theyre on the ball and the price is right!

I brought my Honda here for a second estimate based on a referral from a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. The manager took the time to call me and walk me through the repairs. He gave me an upfront cost and told me exactly what to expect. He kept me up to date on the progress. The customer service was outstanding, the cost was fair and I felt they were honest and trustworthy. I will be bringing both my Honda’s to them from now on. Nice work Precision Tune!

Precision Tune in Wilson gets no star from me. Went there today to have repair done on my car. Guy told me how much it would be I told him to go head and fix it. Whole 2 hours went by then I receive a car about my air conditioner is leaking mind you it wasnt leaking or never been leaking before. Tried to charge me $180 for there when I declined they fixed my first problem. Then lied and stated my air conditioning was cool and working good. While I head home its blowing out hot air. So I call and while on the phone Im heading back there. To still be placed on hold the representative told me the supervisor has to come to the phone. No one still didnt come and Im on hold. While pulling back up at the place the door lock and everyone has gone for the day. So I come in contact while Im getting out to see why Im still on hold and notice an employee walking out and he tells me everyone gone for the night. So I will be returning on Saturday morning.

Worse 0lace Ive ever been to, to get car oil change. People that came after me got serviced before me, I wanted an oil change and my transmission fluid topped 9ff but 9nly got oil change but yet it was the same price. Do not go there youll be sorry

They are the BEST service center Ive ever dealt with hands down. Extremely knowledgeable about my vehicle and they explain everything to me so I can understand. Their customer service always exceeds my expectations and my car is always done correctly the first time in a timely manner.

James and his team have always taken great care of my truck and wifes car. I used to do all my own automotive work. After getting my company trucks oil changed regularly at the Wilson store. I gained a trust for the team. Since then, they have done everything from replacing my break pads to installing tire rods. If you need quality work done at a reasonable price, James is the guy to go see.

Not impressed nothing really went well.

This is one of the best shops ever. They are very polite knowledgeable and honest. I have been bring my car here for a little over a year now and they are the only shop I will bring my car to. When I come here I don’t feel like someone is just trying to sell me something or get work done that I don’t really need. When there is something wrong with my cars I bring it to them and they diagnose it (even dumb it down for me so I understand). My car is always fixed in a timely manner at a great rate. I wouldn’t even hesitate bringing my car here. This place is a GEM!!

I travel the state for my job. Keeping my car running is paramount. Check Engine light comes on 3.5 hours from home as I entered Wilson, NC. Pulled into this store late afternoon, thinking it was probably too late to get me in. Without hesitation, Jared said hed check it out right now. Literally, 5 minutes later, Jared called me to see the problem. I figured since it was so quickly diagnosed, it had to be a major repair. Jared, James and Jeremy all took time to show me this was a simple fix, as a vacuum line was not connected properly. Im no mechanic, so they could have told me anything, and charged me anything, and I would have believed them. While showing me the issue, James connected a new line and fixed the problem right then. Jeremy agreed with Jared and James that there would be no charge!These guys are awesome! They are knowledgeable, and more importantly, they are 100% trustworthy. So at first I wanted to give this place a 1 star because I took our family van in to get a check engine light checked out. We had to take it back three times. LONG story short the staff and manager, James, were very nice and completely understood my feelings. They fixed the issue and even though it was no fault of theirs they took ownership. My car just got unlucky I guess but they worked with me and got my van back fixed, I hope. I literally just got it back like 10 min ago. If I dont update this then its ALL good!But the staff and James were GREAT! excellent CS!

You feel the warmth and friendliness as soon as you step through the doors. You can tell that theyre happy to assist with your car. The wait time always varies. Thats with any car place! I moved to the area a year ago and needed to find an auto shop. After searching around, I decided to try Precision Tune for just an oil change to see if I liked them. The staff was very friendly, they were able to get it done while I waited, and the price was reasonable, and after the oil change they took me out to my car, while it was still in the air, and showed me everything else they noticed that was slightly less than par. They werent trying to sell me on paying to get more work done, they were trying to keep me informed about my cars current state.After living here another month or two, I discovered that they regularly send out coupons in the mail, one for the upgraded oil change at only $19.90, and a second coupon that varies. They also do a customer reward for oil changes, buy 4 at any price and you get the 5th free. (Another note about the coupons, they will even honor expired ones.) I have returned multiple times since then and have gotten other work done on my car. They are very knowledgeable, discuss things with you, give you options, and are pleasant to work with. They have a nice seating area if you decide to wait while they work on your car that has comfy chairs, free coffee, lots and lots of magazines, educational material about your car, and a large TV. Precision Tune also does the state vehicle emissions and safety inspection. All in all, I think that Precision Tune is one of the best car shops Ive ever been to and I will continue to return.

I will NEVER go to this place again. They are scammers. My car had a cylinder misfire and a broken sparkplug that needed to be removed and they wanted to charge me 3400$, saying I might as well get a new engine. I honestly thought I would have to get my car scrapped and start looking for a new one, but no, I was able to find a better reliable mechanic who fixed the vehicle for 400$! He started to laugh at the idea that Precision Tune claimed I should get a new engine for my car.

First thing they did was jump de order of cars the guy tell me l got to wait for 4 before me ok no problem.Then suddenly wooo a old lady comes in ask for some guy and all 4 plus me get jumped in turn i stand up as did you just tell i have to wait 4 before me and she just got here and her car gets pulled over before all off us the guy starts gagging did not know what to say and suddenly all 4 cars plus mines gets pulled in and not done with that after 30 min they tell me i have to wait cause they don’t have the oil filter they are waiting for someone to bring it . Slow process they don’t follow order turns for oil change and parts availability not good and is not the first time i come here i bring all my cars here .i wont recommend no more .plus employees smoking inside the working area thats not safe working with chemicals at all . I am outside looking at the young guy working changing oil told them to check my brakes and tire pressure and you know what they did not do anything of that the guy at the front desk tells me we are done i tell him are you sure he replied yes i told him ask your employer haha not done they are getting worse

I went in with a friend to have a vehicle repaired. We had broken down on i95 and thought our trip was ruined. We called other shops in the area and no one could get to us but precision tune. They looked very busy but they took us right in and told us they did not want us to be stranded and they where very understanding of our situation. The staff where great. James and Ryan did everything they could to make sure we where back on the road. They even stayed after there normal hours which we couldnt believe!!! Thanks to these guys we made it to the beach and it didnt cost us an arm and a leg. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation we where in, we had no choice but to get the car fixed. But the service and price was great! If your ever in Wilson and need service this place should be your only choice!!! Thanks guys!!!!

I love the people that work here and the store manager! I had a car that I bought in 2007 and they took great care with the car and I had over 200,000 miles on the car before I had an accident that totaled it. If I had not had the accident- I still would be driving the car because of their excellent care. My husband depends on their great service- his car has over 200,000 miles now and it still runs like new- and he is not a careful driver! LOL! I would recommend this business to anyone- and love the fact that they work with you to make sure that you have excellent service...

I absolutely love being able to walk in and out of a store with no problems. Its something rare these days and at this particular Precision Tune, I was lucky enough to experience this. Everyone, especially the manager, seems extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Ive worked in various service centers, including Carmax, and the service here was grade A. Having issues with a car is stressful especially when theyre ill-timed, but I felt important and my car is back to its tip-top shape thanks to these guys. Comfortable, fast, clean, composed environment that definitely left a good impression because it was done right the first time. Will be referring everyone I know to this shop!

The service we received was great. We had a flat on I95 and was able to make it to Precision Tune Auto 20 minuto before closing for the holiday weekend. They took care of us right away and we’re out on our way within 20 minutes. They were professional, friendly and caring.

Precision Tune Auto is the best tire place ever! On vacation omw to South Carolina the thread started showing in my tires had to pull over and had to end up getting not one but two tires. They were very helpful, definitely recommend them ! Ryan got us right!😃

These guys are awesome! We were headed home to Massachusetts with our 6 young children from our vacation in myrtle beach when the rear hub went on our nissan armada. We waited in the parking lot for them to open & they took us right in. Took them a little longer than they thought to get the part off. We had already tried and it was pretty stuck!!! But they were so friendly and got us back on our way home for a great price! Even all the customers waiting in line before they opened were awesome! Very busy place Im guessing due to their great customer service. We will always seek these guys out if anything ever happens to our vehicles on vacation again :) Thanks again!!!

I went there for an oil change and had a coupon for a full service oil change for only $18.50. The guy wanted to charge me over $50 for an oil change!!!!!!! He said my car required Dextro but I have NEVER been told that my car requires that kind of synthetic oil. On top of that I have never paid over $30 for an oil change. Not going there ever again! I will wait till Monday and go to Whites Tires where I know when they offer a deal they actually give that deal.

Ryan, Chris and James are the nicest guys you can find. Ryan is always so polite and helpful. James(manager) goes out of his way to help people. Chris was a manager in training and was nice enough to take me up the road to enterprise because they werent answering the phone. I went to them because thats whos listed on my warranty. ...but after going there I wouldnt want to go anywhere else...and I live thirty minutes from them. Not only that but they are much cheaper than anywhere else. I live right behind a Walmart, and they wanted $40+ for an oil change and I paid just around $30 for one at Precision Tune. I LOVE this place.

Got a decent price on good tires - biggest plus.However, service was slow by comparison to other service providers Ive used, and even slow compared to the rate at which I service and repair my own vehicles, but maybe they were just shorthanded or something. Either way I had an appointment and still waited a long time.And about that wait - I spent the entire 2 hrs 15 mins in the sun and the humidity because the fellow working the desk was very loudly and incessantly telling anyone in the lobby who would listen stories about his life and experiences. Even when he was in the service bay I could hear him inside. I dont mean to be rude, but this guy could have been reading Yeats or Bukowski and it would still be unpleasant. So I suffered gladly in the July heat rather than lose IQ points in the lobby. The price we pay, right?Other than that, just average.

Needed a fuel throttle body for my Ford F-150, and was quoted a price more than what the dealership charged for the exact same service. What happened to this place? They use to very reasonable and provided great service. Must be new owners or managers. Heading to the dealership I guess.

I can not describe how helpful these guys were. I talked with the store manager, James during my visit and I could tell he was looking out.I called one store before I called Precision Tune, and they said they would charge $100 to get my brakes bled. I called Precision Tune after that and they said $49.99. I took my car down there and they gave me a free brake inspection because the story I gave them sounded like I may have had a leak.During the process of fixing my car, they didnt do anything to it without my permission first, they called me back to the shop and showed me all the corroded hardware and the brake fluid that was caked all over it, because of the leak. They informed me that all the hardware (cylinders, etc) would need to be replaced, it became a safety issue at this point.My budget was a little tight this week, but James and his crew fixed me right up that day for over $150 less than what it would have costed (probably more considering most auto repair places out there are way overpriced) because they did not want to risk sending me back out on the road in a metal deathtrap.I had spoken with another trusted mechanic prior to this, and what he spoke coincided with what James spoke of. James always looked me in the eye and told me the truth of the situation when we talked. Believe me when I say Precision Tune will help you to the greatest extent possible!If you are looking for an Auto Care/Repair shop in Wilson, NC then look no further!Thanks a bunch James! :D

They always make sure my car is fixed same day. The only time its not fixed same day is when the issue with your car is more complex and they are busy. The receptionists are always helpful and kind also.

Terrible first time experience basically told the guy the problem said I needed diagnostics and he charged me $90 just to print out the problem I stated originally..... will never be going there again huge scam

Took my truck in to get fixed because it was cutting off occasionally at stop lights. The check engine light was also on. I told the guy at the front desk a couple of things that it might be, but he evidently just ignored me. Sat there for 4-hours waiting. Finally, the man up front said that I was ready to go. When I left I drove to the first stop sign and it cut off.Thought, well maybe it will be okay once I get going. Next stop light, it cuts off again. I carried it back and sat it the lobby for another 3 hours. Next thing I know hes telling me to bring it back the next day with an invoice charge for $238.36 for something I didnt even need. I mentioned it to a friend of mine and he looked at it and replaced the Idle air control motor valve (which I originally mentioned that in the beginning) that cost me $44.84. This place needs to change there name to something else besides Precision Tune because that they are not.

Went there to find leaks in two tires that we bought from them a while back, found a leak in one tire and couldnt find the leak in the other tire. Tech said he found a nail in the side wall of said tire and he pulled the nail out................... Tire still leaks. Took 3 hours for rotate and balance

Recently we were headed out of state (VA) to SC for a wedding. Our car started making knocking sounds, so we pulled off the road and was towed to Precision. We called ahead to James Engel and he assured us he would do whatever he could to get us back on the road swiftly. Well, the engine was blown, so instead of charging us for a new engine, James recommended we contact the dealer because of reported problems with that engine. Initially, the dealer said no to replacement, but James found the technical bulletin and a call back to the dealer had them agreeing to consider engine replacement. Even though Precision didnt make a dime off of this event, there support was crucial for us being able to have our car towed to the dealer and finding us a rental car to continue our trip. They really saved the day for us.

They were short handed but the manager jumped in to do the job.

I went in to get an oil change and check my alignment. Not only did the manager give me a great deal, he also saved me $170. All of his techs told him my front passenger tire rod was shot and needed to be replaced. He took a blowtorch to it and broke it free to save me the repair bill for that. He did all this while being short-staffed due to his assistant quitting on him that day. I highly recommend this location for your vehicle maintenance. The staff are professional and prompt, very satisfied.

I bought four tires for my car back in August with supposedly 60,000 miles warranty. Now I’m having an issue with one of the tires so I brought in for a checkup and of course they could not find the purchase of my four tires in there computer system. Lucky for me I found my receipt in my car. There excuse for not finding my receipt was that they enter my purchase in a different car model how could it be if I only have one customer account with then. So after a present my receipt, there was another excuse that I declined the additional coverage of road hazard but what about my 60,000 miles warranty I have only drove my car for 15,000 and there is no nail. I learn my lesson and I am never going to purchase tires from this place

From out of town and our car ac went out. Took it there and they were able to diagnose the problem right away. If we were staying in the area, we would have them repair it but are heading back home so I will have my mechanic there do it.

We were driving from Clayton to Wilson, all of a sudden the engine started running rough and the check engine light came on. I stopped at AutoZone to have the code diagnosed. The computer showed that the number 2 cylinder was misfiring. I went to Precision Tune to ask them to see what the problem was. The manager said they were about to close in 15 minutes, but would not turn me away. 20 minutes later, they had me back on the road. The ignition coil and spark plug needed to be replaced. These folks took care of a travelling stranger and even though it took longer than the shop was open, they still fixed my car. Thank you very much.

Went to get oil change and to get my turn signals and break lights fixed break lights and oil change but did not fix turn signal and messed up one of my windows and did not put all parts back on my car took my car back and mgr was rude as hell and had his young child with him in the back where they work.mgr was rude and was gonna make me pay for their mistake they dont even deserve a star. So this place dont k ow what they are doing.first and last time there

Usually they are great but sometimes if a mistake is made on your vehicle,you might have a hard time getting it corrected,other tjan that great mechanics and friendly employees

These guys did ok by me. needed a rear window regulator replaced on my impala and they did it in 1.5 hours and for a far better price than the dealer wouldve.

Do not go here! My husband took one car and they tried to tell him he had to put the more expensive oil in it when he did not. He told them no and they still did it and rotated his tires without his knowledge and tried to charge him for the most expensive oil change. Then he took his truck to get the tires rotated and they did not secure the lug nuts on correctly, which has resulted in only two lug nuts being left on the tire and a broken wheel stud. Thank God he found the problem before it resulted in the tire possibly falling off going down the road and wrecking! I am so mad that this has happened and that this company is that careless!
