After enjoying a wonderful experience at a restaurant on Wilton drive I decided to take a stroll to work down my meal. I came across a wonderful furniture store named Island City traders. I peered into the window and was amazed by all the beautiful furniture and accessories that were perfectly arranged to create different vignettes. Someone definitely knows how to merchandise correctly. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by one of the sales team members named Edward. Right away I felt comfortable to look around assuming I didnt get that high pressure sales person approach. Edward was very polite, knowledgeable and assertive when necessarily and a good listener. Even though my trip didnt result in a purchase this time since I was just browsing I will definitely return. Upon leaving Edward extended a warm smile and his business card. I love this business! Aaron Rochester has helped me furnish two homes. The most recent project was a complete remodel of a 3 bedroom condo on the beach. Aaron was able to quickly understand what I was looking for. He worked within my budget and suggested multiple options at various price points for most items. I am always excited about the possibilities when I walk into a furniture store and then I am immediately overwhelmed and usually like I do not belong. Ed (I think his last name starts with a Z), made me feel welcomed and like I could take my time. He also made me feel important. He listened to what I am trying to accomplish with my space (a mature recreation room with sophisticated storage space). I am still not sure which direction I want to go, but be gave me great and exciting ideas to consider without feeling pressured. I am going to make sure I seek him out the next time I go to the store. He also made me feel like a friend, which is nice. I appreciate that he kept on his mask and maintained social distancing too!

Wow. This boutique furniture store is amazing. It has a lot of home decor and unique art. I was really happy that I got to chat with Edward for a while. He was able to provide me several options for some canvas art and took the time to show me the stockroom where they store many more! And the lamps! So many on the floor and in the stockroom. I have to rethink what I bought at another store a month ago. Great location, right on Wilton Drive across from Rosie’s.

My partner and I were in the neighborhood and strolled over from Rosie’s to browse. We have never been in the store before, so we decided to see what they had to offer. This place has just about everything a person would need to furnish any room in the home.I also met Edward who gave me a tour of showroom and even showed me the warehouse where they have an inventory of art, lamps, home decor and other pieces of small furniture. I ended up buying a wall clock but I will be returning to look at options for a new sofa. They sell many brands and Edward showed me how to build a sofa with the Vanguard worksheets. If you are ever on the drive, stop in and check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

I am so happy with ICT - I had come into town from the Tampa Bay where there is absolutely no furniture to be found other than rooms to go or other blah places. This was one of the first place I stopped on the way through town looking for some new living room furniture.I was super happy with the fella Edward who helped me pick something out. The selection in the store speaks for itself, but sometimes it was a little overwhelming. He was able to help me find something that met my needs by asking me questions and making sure that things were going to be right for me.Because I was from out of town he offered to take special care to help me make the arrangements to get the furniture to my home.
