Place is awesome.... Ive been going there for 3 decades to find old school stuff. They have alot of hard to find stuff. Also sells good quality used cars. Several friends have bought vehicles there and had real good luck with them
Decent set up. Respectable size yard. Staff could try to be helpful and friendlier. Decent prices. Would go back for the parts, just dont expect conversation.
Awesome self-service junk yard. Not a great selection of European cars but I always can find what I need if its Asian or American. Pricing is always fair and the staff is easygoing.
They have a wide variety of different autos and parts and are usually reasonable. A couple of weeks ago I went in for a part because the other salvage yard was closed due to the virus and the staff was going to charge me triple for the part I needed. I bought a new one cheaper than he was charging me. They completely took advantage of the people who shop there because it was the only salvage yard open.
Me personally I like junk yards mean who doesnt like/love gettin killer deals on decent parts. As long as u kno what ur lookin for n at theres nothing to fear but a lil blood, sweat, tears n sometimes a few beers lol
Their inventory is off, not only do they not have the part, in many cases missing whole vehicle. Dont trust car-part.com. these guys are a joke of a salvage yard
Paid to have a 2.2L Toyota engine pulled and they gave me a 2.0—didn’t notice until the thing was half torn-down. Said they’d only take it back if there was some tag on it that I couldn’t find anywhere on the thing. Waste of $360.
Martin’s Supply, Inc is a treasure for us car buffs. They have an unbelievable number of old cars and trucks - many, many from the 1930’s and up. And I usually find something I need as I spend pleasurable hours looking through their amazing number of vehicles. The prices are reasonable and the staff are courteous and helpful. You won’t be disappointed- come out and check them out!
They were extremely friendly and very helpful. Thank you guys so much!! Would DEFINITELY go there again!!!
1st time here. Horrible pricing.. purchased a battery frame. Way over priced. Plus an additional $3.00 EPA charge. They shouldnt be applying this to customers. Cant wait for Andersen salvage to open again. 2 thumbs down! NEGATIVE 1 STAR!!!
I have never been to a junk yard before so I had no idea what to expect. I have to say this place was a hopping and the staff was pleasant. Joe in particular was a lot of fun, very helpful and knowledgeable. I overheard other staff members talking to customers and they were also friendly, helpful and patient. I would highly recommend Martin Supply to anyone looking for parts for their project or vehicle. #1 in my book.
Way over priced. Charging 10 for a latch hydraulic when they r 16 for the pair online. I told them I would give them 5 a peice because they r less then 10 new. The lady in the back said well tell him to go buy them new lol so I said I will thanks and walked away. Dont waste ur time coming here. The old guy is cool but the ladys r rude
Excellent customer service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help me. I highly recommend them and will be back in the future.
Sold several vehicles here and found parts needed over the years. Staff is always helpful. Read reviews that said the staff was rude.....maybe people need to show respect to get respect. They have always went above and beyond for me. Just because they dont have the part you are after for free, does not mean you need to give them a bad review. This is a business and they dont have time to coddle you. Overall would recommend Martin Supply to anyone!
Had called on a part, they said it was there and I verified their location with them.I left Cheyenne and an hour and a half later arrivedThey said they never got any calls that day, they didn’t have any of the cars I needed the parts from even though I could see them from the road, everybody just sitting around telling me they didn’t want to help me, even at one point hinting that they were closed anyways (10:30am on a Wednesday I highly doubt this)Worst waste of time and money, take your business to someone who wants it, these guys are primarily about scrap I think so customer service and professionalism isn’t in their job description or in their future.Very dissapointed, 1-star is too much credit
Go to Erie Auto Salvage off of I-25 and Erie area first!!!!!!Stay away from Martins Supply Inc in Greeley!!!!!If only there was negative stars or half stars. Martins place left me with a terrible attitude the rest of the day. I felt like I was checking in to see somebody in jail when I went in to the office. They are rude, antagonistic, and assume that everybody is there to steal from them. Maybe they do have a theft problem, but their obvious attempt at a solution is to yell, use foul language, and belittle everybody there. They were quick to say that some guys who clearly worked for them were not their employees. Im not sure how that works when the guys clearly work the yard. These guys get offended if you try to negotiate. Im sure they would argue that everybody tries to haggle them down, and even that some customers are rude when they do. Fair enough but its a friggin junk yard, expect some hagglers. They got super offended when one guy told them that he could get the same part somewhere else. They were very quick to say well then go there and youre here because were the only place you could find it. They wouldnt budge on prices. I was so shocked that I just left instead of going through that process myself.I would say that you should negotiate the price before you pull the item but even then I think they tried to up the price on one guy while I was there. I just had a horrible feeling from my entire experience there and left never to return.Im not sure if theyll ever change based on the terrible google reviews that have plagued them for years. I do have one suggestion, get rid of the old lady in the shop. She was a miserable wretch. Ill never go here again, Id rather scrap my car.
Basically the most interesting yard Ive ever been to.
Called ahead, and asked about prices on the parts I was looking for and headed there the next day to get them. Great Staff and I would recommend them!
Worthless staff, rude, arrogant, they all think their parts are worth way more than they actually are. I expected much more from a pile of cars than a bunch of rude people. If you want service or affordable prices then look somewhere else.
No problems at all. Had the parts I needed, told me where to find the cars to pull from, price was the same as everyone else.
Way to overpriced. Most of the time they try to charge me what the part cost new. I wouldnt recommend buying anything from them even its your only option. They are usually pretty rude to me as well.
This Place is Awesome! They have Lots of Classics 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s . The guys are very fair in there price too. Highly recommended!Bryan (The Car Guys)
Well we went for a few thing.1. they fallow you in the yard.2. They over charge we got two different prices from employees there when we went to U Pull It in Greeley they only charged us a dollar for a plastic heater switch and they want to 10 they claimed that they had a Hi-Tech system so they know all the prices off the bat but was not able to give me a price sheet they claim they cant charge $1 for a plastic piece because they have to pay 13 employees Im a business owner in Longmont Colorado I would recommend not to shop at this place or give this place business they have bad business practice they are unprofessional and I hope they get audited because I believe they pocket money
Nice enough people from my experience. Tried to charge me $50 for a tail light when a new one from factory is $60. Prices are outrageous. Junk parts should never be more than half the price of a new piece. I sincerely hope they change something.
Rude when you call. I had called about a part about 2 weeks back and they had it called today to verify before I headed over and as soon as I said what vehicle she cut me off and said they dont have that car in the yard. Funny thing is the part is the same in several years and models but to busy to even bother checking. I believe they just dont want to be bothered.
Grumpy people. If you need to speak to someone, plan on standing around for a very long time. If you need help with a quote or anything specific, plan on standing around even longer. If you go in the door, plan on standing around for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledges youve arrived. Youll have to listen to their phone conversation about someones car collection or new puppies or volleyball tournament (all things I had to listen to) while they avoid eye contact and continue chatting.
Horrible customer service. They are not willing to assist their customers in any way. They also do not update their inventory. If you want good service and assistance go somewhere else.
They wanted 5 dollars more then a new set of wires would of cost me. FOR A FING GEO METRO. How you get people to buy from you is beyond me. I will gladly go to Andersons salvage, worth the extra drive.
The staff charges what is in the computer they dont make the prices. If you are polite to them they are polite in return. I have had nothing but good experiences here.
This place is trash. Purchased glass for an speedometer, it was the wrong size, went back and he told me he could sell me another for $50 but wouldnt return the previous one. Very terrible customer service.
If I could give zero stars i would. Worst junk yard ever. The owner has a lady who works there also LIVING THERE WITH HER KIDS. How UNSAFE I just have to say. One kid I seen was maybe 2 years old. Unbelievable. They need to be shut down for good!!
If you like paying almost retail for used parts and an extra EPA charge for buying parts that dont qualify for the extra charge.Go anywhere else than this place. If I could give this place minus 10 stars i would.
They wont answer the phone to even answer a question when its close to closing time, so make sure your timely...
Been out here a few times now, these guys have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. Just picked up a bracket that the dealership wanted $88 for.... $5 at Martin supply. Thanks!
Excellent staff and prices on scrap metal.
Typical junk yard, you pull your own parts. Fair prices and they were very accommodating.
Better plan on a full day if you want a part that is inaccessible. Im standing in their yard now and have been for an hour waiting for someone to lift a vehicle for me. I called four times to make sure they would have it ready for me. I would give this place a negative rating if I could. what a joke!
Purchase a engine from Martin Supply, Shirley was very nice The problem Lies in the part Ask numerous times if the engine was tested and they had stated oh yes we test the engine it tested goodwell after 20 hours of paying labor driving up to greeley in the snow hour half there and hour half backright when we started the engine, THE MOTOR WAS KNOCKING RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX !!!BEWARE THESE PEOPLE ARE NICE BUT HAVE NO IDEA OF THE PART THEY ARE SELLING IS ANY GOOD !!
The staff here always goes out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. The only downside is their early closing time, but their customer service is outstanding, better than Aragon in FC or U Pull and pay in Denver
This is my familys business. My grandfather started the business in my hometown of Milliken, CO in 1955. Now weve been in business for 60 years. Im proud to have my grandpas legacy as part of my heritage.
Ridiculous prices, rude staff, weird business practices. Go somewhere else. Trust me
So they told me they would give me cash for my car without looking at it, then called me and told me it to many miles. It had way less than what they told me. the receptionist told me they would bring it back to me the she hung up on me. Then the owner called and when i told him what happened he laughed and told me i had to come get it myself. Then they forgot to give my title back when i picked it up. This is seriously the worst business i have ever been to the customer service was horrible, they lied to me and the lack of communication, and how un professional this place is I honestly dont know how they are in business I will never go back. And i will never recommend this place to anyone.
Prices were a rip off and talked to customers with an attitude..was very rud would recommend not going there
I have been coming here for a few years,I have been treated fairly every time great place to walk around and look at all the history.
I just purchased 2 fenders and a hood from Charlie. He made the transaction very easy and shipped it out for the actual shipping cost when others had tried to mark up the cost 3 and 4 times. I would and will purchase from him againGreg
The staff is super kind and helpful!! Ask for Will an awesome guy definitely needs a raise!!!
My boys went to look for some parts and the people in the yard were nasty and rude, they need to get their act together!!!!! If you run a business you should have some sort of courtesy and people skills!!!!!
Very rude and way overpriced on any car that isnt a 2002 honda. Every time i pull a part there is alway some argument about how i was not allowed to take from THAT car. On multiple occasions i had parts ripped from my hands and was left empty handed after hours of work.
Terrible customer service, called in they gave me a number to what I would like to think is the owner. I asked about some fenders he said “nope, you and 10,000 other people are looking for fenders”, i don’t recommend this place to anyone if there was such thing as zero stars that’s what they would be getting....
I would give a zero if I could. This place is a rip off! Ill stick with Andersons from now on.
Have allot of parts I am looking for but the prices are way to high for salvage parts,I needed a front driveshaft and the guy I delt with wanted to charge $260 when I can get a new one for $328 and $50 each for shock absorbers really, so I try to go to Andersons they stick by their price list.
An honest business with incredibly friendly and helpful employees and a massive inventory.
I would rather pay full price than buy parts from Martins. The owner has a serious case of small man syndrome and is a crook. I know that if the owner talked to me outside of his business the way that he had while I was in there, the outcome would not have been the same. They never own up to their crap. Rather than accept that they are in the wrong, they justify and talk trash to you just like in high school. Their prices are sky high, its practically theft. Both the owner and employees seem to think that it is okay to cuss at you, accuse of theft and lying, and belittle you(not to mention in front of other customers). They have no reason to have a phone line seeing as it is impossible to get an answer from them.
A great place. I really like that I can walk the lot and pick the parts I want out of the car or truck I want. And a great price for any and everything.Loveland Salvage wanted 700.00 bucks for an 700r trans, I called bs and called Martin and they only want 250.00 and I can pick the trans to be pulled and if I dont want to pull it my self, they only want 25.00 bucks to do it for me. I will now always go to Martin Supply first for anything.
Since when do u treat people like u do? First of all I needed to scrap a part. They told us it would pay 5 cents so we said we would keep it take it else where, some man followed us out the door and asked where I got that part told him it was mine. He mumbled something under his breath. So we put our part in the car before entering junk yard to look for a starter for our car. So we had our original starter with us to do comparison with. Well since we did not turn our scrap in. We didn’t purchase the starter. Over the intercom as we were leaving some one said to come get the bag checked. So we did, and they found the starter I went in with. now I am out my starter that I would have to use as a core charge. so why is it ok you kept my part when it’s a felony for someone to take it from you. And if you thought my scrap was stolen from there I want you to roll back the tape and look and see we had it when we got there. your employees are very rude. and i will leave my review on line too. And I want to talk to the owner or manager
A great place to find that vintage part we need.
They over charge and treat customers poorly
Complete rip off. No integrity on recycling. Very disappointed. Hope their children dont take after them.
First and foremost let me state that I never write reviews but I read them by the boat loads, so the simple fact that I decided to write one for this should speak volumes about how terrible my experience was. If it were possible to give a negative rating it would be done. I will never go back to this place unless I am in dire need of a part I just absolutely cant find somewhere else and even then I would consider scrapping the vehicle first.I recently bought an old pickup and the previous owner tore the radio harness out and did a terrible job wiring in the stereo which was also broken by the way. So all I wanted to do was simply cut the harness and connectors out of an old junker and wire it in to my pickup. I was told the harness was $25 which to me seemed outrageous so I decided to look around. Went to Andersens and picked up what the internet told me would work (different year, different trim pickup), turns out it didnt work, but either way Andersens charged me $1. That seemed more feasible to me. Well turns out since it was wrong I had to go grab a different one, didnt have time to run out to Andersens, and needed it quickly, so I went to Martins to hopefully negotiate.Show up at Martins today and stand in by the front desk for over ten minutes before anyone decides to ask me if I need help. Why so long you might ask? Let me explain. The one other customer that was in there was being helped by the young lady whom seems like the only person that works. The other 4 employees not helping anyone were debating on which days KFC offers the country fried chicken. Seriously, you cant make this stuff up. Then I get greeted with, do you need something? Thanks for being so polite. I describe the harness I need and once again get told $25, so at least they are consistent. This is the remaining conversation:-Me: $25 dollars seems extremely expensive to me for something so simple-Elder lady in a stern disrespectful voice: Well we sell the entire harness for $50 and when you cut off this portion you make it unsellable, so its $25 dollars!I dont disagree, but it could have been told in a more respectable manner. Conversation gets better:-Me: I understand that but it still seems steep. I went down to Andersens and they sold it to me for $1-Same lady, literally yelling: Well if Andersens is dumb enough to sell it that cheap then thats their problem. And obviously they dont have it at all which is why you came here.-Me: Im sure they have one I just grabbed the wrong one and dont have time to run back down there.-Same lady, still yelling: The price is $25, you can take it or get the f**k out of here! You can imagine my face when I heard this and I somehow managed to maintain my composure and walk out. Still purchased the very expensive part because I needed to get the pickup put back together and out of my garage. And I reiterate that I will never go back to this place, EVER!So I apologize for the long drawn out review but you have to get the entire story to understand. I may be a lot of things but I am no liar and you cant just make this stuff up.I will give them two positives however.(1) They have a ton of stuff and you will likely find what you need but you will pay a premium.(2) The young lady that works there is great, super sweet, and extremely helpful. If you can just work with her then it might be worth going.Avoid this place! Thanks and I hope this helps.
Well let me put it this way my family has been going to martins since I was a lil kid they all love it there nice employees exspecially joe n jimmy they lend a helping hand when needed and even helped me install my altenator after he pulled it when hegot off work
This place is a scam, I just went to grab a mercedes part that I could have ordered on ebay for 40 $ they wanted to charge me 40$ and I had to wrench it off. Then wouldnt offer any kind of refund if it was faulty. I would never go to this place for any kind of part. Then the guy in the front started saying it was a servo when in fact it was amplifier two different parts but they couldnt figure how much to charge me. I was about to buy it till they said no money back if it was faulty. What a wast of my time pulling the part, and driving there. Next time Im just going through eBay. This place is garbage.
Years ago this place was great, not sure what happened other than the owners became GREEDY AND RUDE its sad that the competition was 75% cheaper for exactly the same part, you guys really need to remember where you came from
I called about a part and since it was near the end of the day they said they will check tomorrow and get back to me. Never heard back.
Cost way to much I been here a few times only because Andersens isnt open on Saturdays Andersens is mostly 75% to 50% cheeper than here if you can just go to Andersens
Rude staff, and what gold prices for used parts, think twice before going
Was hung up on
Very nice and friendly as well as helpful
Costumer service there is none. They dont know how to price parts and everything they do price is a ball park number and there attitude towards people is poor.
Is ok
Way over priced on parts. Andersons slaughters their prices not to mention the workers there are excellent guys. Ill never go here again.
Ive had mostly good luck here of course always a little room for improvement
Prices are ridiculous you go to a junk yard for cheap parts not this bs seriously save your money and time go else where
I recently went to here to scrap a catalytic converter, and after speaking to my friends in the industry I should have gone elsewhere as they gave me 10 dollars for it and I called another yard and they said depending on the condition I should get atleast 25.
Treats customers poorly, overcharge, basically horrible business practices!
They charge full price for used parts that you have to pull yourself.
The most over priced parts and the old man is the rudest person if ever delt with....I will never go back
U guys suck
Tell you guys what,You come hear to get a tore up truck for $500,And go to Elliotts to get one for $2700.
Rude people and they rip you off
Told me they had 4...drove an hour and a half. Not a single one in their yard. Idiots.
THIS WITHDRAWAL BUT IT IS A GOOD PLACE FOR. FIND PARTS FOR THE DIFFERENT CARS WORTH IT VISIT IT CANTICHAPLIN BLESSINGS
