Found a washer and dryer brand new in the store. There was a scratch on the front of the washer. I asked if there would be a discount as it had a visible mark on it. I was told not to worry that the pair I would receive would be brand new from a box. They were delivered…washer has the exact same scratch and dryer has rubbed off price from being the display model. Disappointing after we were reassured and hearing so many great things about Wagner’s.

I have purchase my last 3 appliances @Wagner Appliances 2 during the pandemic with ease and courtesy. They saved me a headache by removing my old appliances and gave me great customer service by replacing old hoses and dryer exhaust hose we werent aware that were damaged, also replacing vents at. Crews really great like it used to be, the customer was their priority. Always asking if everything was like I wanted.The last appliances I purchased werent available but Wagners had them or found exactly what I needed within just a day or two. I recently purchased a washer/dryer set elsewhere and was planning to scrap my old appliances. A family member referred me to Wagner, stating they will pickup and recycle for free. Not looking to sale as both are older models in very used condition, but I waited the 72 hours requested for contact and scheduling with no response. They DONATED a Washing Machine in October 2020 just as our students were returning to in-person school when ours suddenly broke and could no longer be repaired. Then in March 2021, our very old Refrigerator in the staff room bit the dust. They came through again with a donation as the school system does not provide schools with Refrigerators for staff rooms. Then we asked if they had a Compact Freezer for storing ice closer to our gym where we have PE classes and students often get hurt and a small baggie of ice fixes all of the problems. They donated again!!!This delivery was extra complicated. The amazing delivery guys were going to come on September 1, 2021 and called to confirm their arrival at 12:15 p.m., just as our elementary school went into lockdown because of a disturbance at Mt. Tabor. We were unaware of the severity of this disturbance at the time. We confirmed the scheduled delivery for later that afternoon.As the situation became more clear, the very concerned professionals called and let us know they would come another day and to just give them a call at the shop to reschedule. The next day, our school completely forgot to reschedule the delivery, but the driver called us and arranged for a delivery that very afternoon!This is top-notch service and delivery! I personally havent purchased an appliance from them. But, I did reach out about buying a dryer. I happened to mention what was going on and I was given a troubleshoot test. It turns out my dryer wasnt broken. I had contacted a few other places about dryers and had mentioned the issue and not one single place helped me. It was nerve wracking to a point because I didnt know how I was going to be able to afford even a used dryer at this time. But, I can say is that not many establishments will help you this way. They literally lost a sale by helping me. That only proves to me that theyre good people and not looking to turn a quick profit or take advantage of someone. When it kicks the bucket I will definitely be buying from Wagner Appliance. They have totally won me over.

I was in need of a washer and dryer but could not pay for a new one. Someone recommended Wagner Appliance. After being taken on Craigslist for $200 I was skeptical of used products but I went. Am I glad I did. They were beyond helpful and NO hidden costs.I bought a refurbished washer and dryer and could not be happier. They came with a 45 day warranty and if I wanted to buy an extended one it was beyond fair in price. There is NOTHING negative to say I am very happy with my purchase and the way I was treated. I called Wagoner Appliances to tell them that the tumbler in my dryer had stopped turning, and when I took the dryer apart I could see that the belt had broken. I spoke with David and asked him what would be the cost for replacing the belt. Since the issue was identified he said that the TOTAL cost would be no more than $100. When the technician came out I already had everything apart and it took him no more than 10 minutes. They charged me $107 stating they had to add tax to the service. But, when I initially called and asked David if it was the belt what would be the most i could expect to pay and he stated that the TOTAL would be no more than $100. This company over charges and looks for anyway they can to add charges to the bill. I will never do any more business with this company. Very poor business principles!!!

My old dryer died in the middle of laundry day! The next day I went to Wagners, looked around at the used dryers they had in the store. In a few minutes I found one I wanted, paid for it and scheduled delivery for a couple days later. Today I got a call first thing in the morning, and the dryer was delivered within the hour. This was the day of the torrential rain. The delivery men were polite and professional, took away my old dryer, installed the new one, checked to be sure it was working, and were on their way in 30 minutes. Excellent service from the salesman in the store to the delivery and installation! Ill definitely do business with Wagners again - you should too!

On mon.mar 15th i purchased a dryer from wagners and had a tuesday delivery set up .the dryer delivered wasnt the one i purchased and nor did it work.i told the deliverymen as they were leaving that i was pretty sure that wasnt the one i bought and was told that a repairman would be out to fix the one they brought and to call the office and tell them.when i called the office i told the gentleman that i was sure it wasnt the dryer i bought and he put me on hold and when he came back to the phone he told me that a repairman would be calling to set up an appointment and did not even acknowledge what i had said about the dryer not being the one i bought .the repairman set up an appointment for wed. morn to fix the wrong dryer and i told him that it wasnt the dryer i had bought. anyhow shortly after the repairman called i got a call from wagners to explain the confusion with the dryer.i was told the dryer i bought didnt work because it needed a timer and they chose to send me the one they did that ironically enough also needs a timer and the timer wasnt going to available until 3/24( i had already been told the timer for the dryer i bought wouldnt be in until the same week ) i then asked if i could come up and pick out another dryer and was told they only had one in stock and it was old i told them to just come and get wrong dryer and bring me my money which they did. i feel they shouldnt have sent wrong dryer w/o telling me and then not admitting it until i told 3 different people in their company that it was wrong dryer.terrible way to do business very deceitful.this is my 3 or 4 th purchase from wagners over the years and is the 1st time ive had an issue but i feel they shouldve been a little more honest about their mistake instead of knowingly sending the wrong dryer with the same issue

The workers were very rude and acted like they were going to do us a “favor” by screwing a heating element together and then charged us for it. We asked what the cost would be beforehand but it was significantly more once they handed us our receipt. We then asked to return it because it was too expensive and they said it was too late and then they asked us to pay an additional $18 for the screwdriver that we asked them to use that was laying on their counter. Unbelievable. I asked them if they cared enough about the $20 to lose a customer over and they said they were the most competitive supplier around and were happy to lose me as a customer. I honestly cannot believe it. Where has hospitality gone? I feel taken advantage of and will never shop here again and I will warn others not to do so as well.

Our dishwasher was on its last legs and we needed to replace it. As I did my research, I learned that there is a nationwide appliance shortage due to COVID-19, and that selection was scarce, and there are long waits for delivery from the manufacturers. I was concerned about buying from a big box store and also wanted to purchase from a local business. I went to Wagner Appliance, and I couldnt be happier with their service. They helped me pick out a dishwasher that met our specifications and that had a reasonable delivery date - approximately two weeks after purchase. The next day, they called me to let me know that the manufacturer increased the delivery estimate by four weeks. We were fine with the additional time, and the dishwasher came as expected. After notifying us of its arrival, Wagner promptly set up a delivery date. Installation went without a hitch, and the installer even gave us some tips about using the dishwasher. I was very impressed with Wagners communication and service. We will definitely go to them the next time we need an appliance.

Bought both a stove and washer a year ago for my house, a year later the washer is broken and 6 months in, one of the burners stopped working on the stove, then another burner, then the control panel on the stove, which wouldn’t allow me to use the oven. I bought a few replacement parts and then realized the parts were worth more than the stove.

Better than a month ago, our fridge died. The hunt began. We looked online first, then at Lowes, and Best Buy. After that, we decided to check out Wagner Appliance. We walked in, and looked around. We saw some used units in one room, then some scratch and dent options in the second room. There was a scratch, and dent new GE unit that grabbed our attention. That is when we met Zeb. He proceeded to explain to usthat along with the small dents, the middle drawer temp. control did not work. That brought it into our price range. He plugged it in, and held it for us so that we could come back the next day to make sure the drawer would be cold enough. The next day came, the drawer was cold enough, and the purchase was made. Two days later, John, and Lester delivered it to our home. The doorway of our home was too narrow to fit the unit through. That caused John to have to remove the entire front of the unit, and our entree door to get it in. Lester worked on removing the front of our dead unit for the same reason. As John removed the front of the middle drawer, a broken wire became exposed. John thought he had caused the break while disassembling it. Lester made the call to Wagners to let them know what happened. The staff as Wagners told him that we purchased it, knowing that the middle drawer temp control was dead. Lester verified that with me after the call. John got excited to find out that he did not cause the problem. That would have been all that was needed, but John was determined to fix it anyway. After getting the unit into our home, John, and Lester proceeded to repair the wire. Well, they did repair it, and the temp. control worked. I have to say that John, and Lester were an absolute pleasure to deal with. It was the by far the best experience I have ever had having to have a delivery, and set up of anything. I appreciated John, and Lester so much, that I visited Zeb at Wagners to tell him about what they did. Zeb was happy to hear about it. Please check out Wagners if you need any appliance. Decent prices, fast delivery. Theyre getting two stars because though I let them know I wasnt going to be home during delivery, they didnt notify the delivery man of this. In turn, he called multiple times to no avail on my end. When I saw this and told him someone was in the house (he didnt even attempt to knock on the door before calling multiple times), he told my house mate that he really wished she wasnt there so he could just get on with his day. Seriously poor customer service. Delivery guys name was Taylor.I bought new appliances and wanted to support local businesses. But if youre shopping for new, you might get better bedside manner if you go with one of the corporations after all. Really disappointing as everything else was a breeze with them.

After years of buying washers from big box retailers, and having a major malfunction just after the warranty expired, I decided to purchase a washer from a local retailer - Wagner Appliance. I couldnt be more pleased. First of all, I discovered Speed Queen washers, which only select few appliance stores are deemed a Speed Queen dealer. 10 year warranty on in home labor and parts!! Yes, it was more expense up front, but the washer is built to last and has the warranty to prove it. The washer is so quiet and my laundry has never looked cleaner. David, my salesman was terrific - no pressure, just gave the details on available washers. I was leaning to the $400 Amanna, and thought, wait! Why buy another cheap washer and have to replace it in 2 years? Then, I spied the Speed Queen - David relayed all the features and warranty, I was sold! Another great fact about Wagner - free delivery is simply that - free. No filling out a rebate card to get your delivery charge back. The box boys do that counting on %50 of customers never bother to return the form. Last but not least, the 2 young men who delivered my Speed Queen were professional, knowledgeable and courteous - and VERY neat, wiped their feet before entering and left no debris. Our landlord used WA to replace the refrigerator. I really appreciate Spencer for leaving a voicemail and text message about their arrival. He was able to reschedule delivery day for me. They came the next day. Both Lester and Deven were very polite and also informed me of their arrival. I didn’t have to wait the 4 hr window time I was given. It only took them 15mins to exchange the appliances.In order to appreciate their service do your part in having the appliance ready for them and the area clear; if you can. Sold me a washer-dryer that didnt even function at all, which I had to learn from the delivery people on the day of their delivery. The installation people literally flooded my kitchen because they let some day 1 hire without a clue try to hook it up to a water supply line, and their best attempt at reconciling me was giving me one year on the warranty. It then broke three times in that one year, before the transmission died completely. Then they tried to sell me a new one telling me well only make you pay the difference between the old one and the new one. How generous! Dont waste your time or money here.

*Update our dyer blew some sort of electrical wiring last night 2/10/19 and most likely not worth fixing due to age and possible parts cost. I brought a USED washer from Wagner years ago, about 8 years ago to be exact . I can truly say that I got my money worth out of my washer. My washer has just stopped working for us last Friday(7/28/17). I will be visiting Wagners soon to see if I can find another great washer.

Treated me as if I were family. I’ve bought both used and new appliances here for the last 20 years. Never had anything but a pleasant experience every time.

Great service through the sales to delivery process

I’ve now bought 4 appliances from Wagner appliance; a dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer. Every time I go in they have always approached me with a friendly smile and gotten me the exact thing I wanted. Not to mention the price! They have the best prices I could find. Definitely recommend them.

Purchased New Washer &Dryer there of course they are Great! Used Appliances are refurbished and theres a 30 day Warranty on most. I dont know about all of them having a Warranty though. I purchased a Used Refrigerator there for $130.00 4 years ago and its still going strong.Mr. Wagner and his Family are very nice. Best used Appliance Dealer on the Southside maybe even the Best in Winston Salem.

Our refrigerator stopped get cool enough yesterday. We started pricing and getting knowledge todsy. When we talked to Rob Granger. He was very helpful. He even told us ways to try and fix our refrigerator. Not many salesman would do that. I would recommend Wagner Appliance to anyone who wants to deal with honest people.

After 2 visits to Wagners, I can honestly say I am more than impressed. Both times I have gone in looking to replace a broken appliance. Both times they happily told me how to fix my appliance (and no, I am not super handy but I can follow instructions). In both cases, they could have easily sold me something new/used, removed my broken appliance then repaired it themselves. This honesty and integrity is an impressive business model and something very hard to find. They have definitely earned a lifelong customer!

Unbelievable knowledge and service.

I have dealt with Wagner Appliances several times for repairs and an installation and have been impressed with each interaction.I trust Robs recommendations, have been happy with the service and appreciate the care he takes to explain what he is doing and why. Unlike so many other home fixes that have to be done I do not dread calling Wagner because I know I am getting an opinion I can trust and service I can rely on.
