I visited this store today and needed a replacement screen cover for my phone that I had purchased at a Best Buy at a different location that has a lifetime warranty on it and there was a girl in the geek squad area, her name was Ashley and she was very rude, she was eating a meal on the job and apparently I interrupted her meal and she seemed unfriendly and bitter about something and after a nice guy in electronics told me they have a shipping code that would let a lifetime warranty product be shipped free and sent me to the geek squad department to see if they could get the shipping code for me because he was very busy and she told me she had never heard of a shipping code that would give me free shipping on a lifetime warranty item that I purchased, she said she would call the headquarters and then said I had a 35 minute wait time to talk to them...she basically was not trying to help me and not a very good salesperson.People like her ruin the reputation of a great company like Best Buy..but the other salesperson in the electronics department was very very helpful. Ashley definitely does not need to be in customer service...

Although we are in vastly differing times, I recently visited this Best Buy location and got PHENOMENAL customer service from this store, while being short staffed. The Greensboro location is ATROCIOUS and I will never go back there even with it being the closest location to me, but the staff and service as this store made me forget I was even doing business with the declining brand. The associates on duty communicated with each other AND the guests in passing to maintain a pleasant atmosphere in the midst of a light pre-lunch rush. The teamwork and courtesy that I saw displayed here was everything indicative of a TRUE retail team, which you rarely see in stores these days. Best Buy as a whole has been gravely disappointing, from the storefront to the website, for largely the past decade, so to receive this treatment was refreshing!

Best Buy has been my favorite electronics store for years. The staff have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products, even helping to figure out the occasional thing a-ma-bob. The prices are comparable to many online products. I especially love hunting for the open box deals. Will I go back to Best Buy? Every change I need to!

AVOID!! Not requiring masks for customers!! This is despite the signs.They are overcharging for computer parts that are low stock. Prices will change at the register!!!!Store is VERY poorly stocked in most areas-movies, video games, computer parts, etc. Floor space is mostly taken up by tv boxes and a central section for stock that has more games than are on the shelves.

Not a bad store. The staff were helpful, especially during a return. The main reason that I have given them a lower score is that it seems that this store is not being fully stocked. A substantial portion of the floor is simply television boxes, and they built a corral in the center of the store with shelving for more storage. It makes everything feel rather empty.

The Winston-Salem Best Buy absolutely knows how to give amazing customer service. Manager Dennis saved the day when Lowe’s failed to deliver a refrigerator, they were able to deliver the exact same model AND they matched the sale price we had gotten at Lowe’s. Manager Lauren handled our exchange of a 3 week old broken tv. She was friendly, gracious and exceedingly helpful! It’s rare to have this level of customer service these days and we are thankful for the personal attention given to us to meet our needs. Our experience was above and beyond !

They have good service but the cue is to long. By all means I recommend it but in a pinch online is better. You have to wait awhile for service but it is good. Stock is also a problem there is a ok chance something is sold out. So if you want something in a pinch dont go but if you want to be sure about what you are buying go here.

Came in here on a budget for a laptop only to realize that budget wasnt going to get me far. The person who helped me was not a staff member of best buy, but worked for HP I believe, dont exactly remember. But he took the time to answer my questions and understood what I was needing. He then took me to a store associate who finished up and got the laptop I needed. Overall the staff and helpers were very friendly and took the time no matter how annoying I may have been with questions. Much appreciated!

Went to look at appliances. Asked 4 people to send someone to help me. Waited .. Waited... Waited.Then finally after 20 mins a guy came buy and answered my 3 questions. By this time I had enough and already planned to go elsewhere. I went to customer service before this to see why no one was around and inquired about a sales person. They said ask the greater at the door they assign you to some one. So he was talking to a woman but it was not about anything in the store so I jumped in and said I been waiting in appliances and nobody has come to see what I needed. I was highly kissed by then. I saw another worker and asked her to send someone. She looked at me kinda stupid after she took out her ear phones. I said I needed help. That made auroral of 4 times trying to get help to spend my money and was unsuccessful. Good riddance because I will never go back there !I would not buy or refer any one I know to them ! I left and went and purchased what I needed at another place.And I did not have to wait long and he took time to see what my wants & needs were.

I went in to get an invisible shield screen protector for my galaxy watch 3 and all there inventory was in the clearance section. When I checked out it was regular price. I asked the cashier to check it out as you can visibly see all of their inventory is right there and doesnt say overflow which is what I was told. I said something should be done about this so he went to what might of been a manager of sorts (tall white guy with a stutter) and he all he said was the same thing the cashier said which is that its overflow. I said that thats false advertising and the manager said sorry so I just walked out. What kind of customer service is that!?

The place has really changed over the years. The video game section is as bleak as the capacity of the store itself. It is mostly a Best Buy Mobile store with a few other things placed about a large store. Their mobile section is stocked very well and has just about everything you may need. The other portions of the store just feel like wasted space they wanted to fill up. Best Buys days are numbered as it felt like an empty Circuit City before they went under. There really is no need to return to their store, just order it online and have a pick up in store if you need it that day. If not just have it delivered.

The worst Best Buy Ive been to. Normally you cant keep employees away from you at any other Best buy. At this one you cant get anyone to help you. Countless employees walked past me talking to their coworkers doing nothing. I asked a manager for help and he told me to go to the front and ask someone else. He continued to walk around and talk to other employees and stand in the same spot while doing nothing. Absolutely a terrible experience every time I come here.

Big store that will have most of what you may need in stock. Like any electronics dealer, you have to know what you are looking for and what you are expecting to pay. Some great sales, mixed with some overpriced items. The sales staff isnt all over you, which I can appreciate. Store is nicely laid out, good lighting, and easy parking.

My sons phone (my old one that he plays games on) was frozen and just showing the Apple logo with nothing else happening. I spent an entire day trying out suggestions on Google to no avail. We scheduled an appointment and worked with Cameron and he had the phone working in less than 15minutes. He was polite and knows his stuff! Will definitely be back and asking for Cameron if we have any other issues.

The gentleman at the entrance was extremely helpful, asking if there was anything in particular I was looking for. I was looking for several items which he noted. He had an associate meet me at the electronics / dashcam section. Daniel assisted me with my items needed. He was professional, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable individual. He made me feel as though I was the most important person in Best Buy. I cant remember the last time I was made to feel like that, important. Thanks for the great service, merchandise, and prices.

Over the years I have liked this place. But I can never get help there anymore. They ignore you and then barely help me. They dont even offer to order anything they take right off. I was waiting forever by the ink area last time. Also their movies and certain Items seem to be going down. Adding more appliances. The store could use price scanners. The place used to be more fun and items in stocks. At least to me.

We actually had a pretty good experience at Best Buy today - usually, finding an employee, much less a helpful one, is like trying to find The Lost Colony; many have tried, all have failed. However, today, we got in and out with what we needed in record time and with friendly service! They should just assign you a store employee when you walk in the door to follow you around while you shop to, like, settle arguments and answer questions and such. That would be the best of all worlds.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! My current tv was 8 years old and died, so I was in the market. I did a bunch of research on brands, stores, options, you name it. However with the cost of a decent tv and it not being the holiday season or time they role out new models, I opted for an open box. With that said, I made sure it was listed as excellent or higher. I found one, but it was over an hour drive away, however I decided to do it and bought a wall mount as well. I placed my order and it said it would be ready in an hour. I get there and only the mount is ready. There was a kind lady at the front that said she would put a rush on the tv. 45 minutes later after multiple people asking me if I was in line or had been helped, still no tv. They then tell me there is no remote or stand for the tv and ask me if I still want it. I asked if they had universal parts that would work, as it states would be done under the excellent listing, they said they could not do that. I asked them if they would then adjust the price, they said no. I showed them my order where it listed excellent and showed them the description on their website, they said take it or leave it. I asked to speak with someone else, they said the same thing, release the tv or take it as is. At this point I’m getting frustrated. I tried calling corporate but they were closed. I spoke the second person again and they finally agreed to take a little off the price. I pulled my truck up and they rolled out a tv bubble wrapped, apparently they forgot to mention they also didn’t have a box. I asked them if everything else was in there, it was wrapped quite well, they said yes. Shame on me for taking their word. I get home and there is nothing. No hardware, no power cord, absolutely nothing but a tv that I can’t do anything with. Horrible! With all the other options out there today, Best Buy just lost a customer and I will be sure to share this as much as I can with everyone I know personally and online, hopefully to lower the number of people they take advantage of. They false advertised then even after that stole my money and sent me on my way with a paperweight.

Yesterday, when I needed to make a small, but necessary purchase; I was assisted by the kindest knowledgeable associate in the store. He went the extra mile to search in their inventory for the product that best fit my budget and situation. I am so pleased to see the attitude of Best Buy has changed. After all, in 2019; my experience with a white female customer service person who consulted the Geek Squad about a printer ---I ultimately had to return-- was not as pleasant...and as a result, I had to purchase the printer fitting my situation from a small retailer who thought outside of the box. I returned about a year ago to purchase and pick up a TV curbside; and also had a pleasant experience...and am enjoying the TV. I am so glad to see that Best Buy now works hard to help EVERYONE including those who have tight budgets...I pray they keep associates like the wonderful man who assisted me yesterday with my essential purchase...Peace...LDyer

Wish I could say I was happy with Geek Squad install over a year ago. Still having issues with remote/TV, which was purchased thru them. I guess, if you been to one of the these you been to then all? They have what every other one has. If not, you can get it delivered there. The last time I was here, the rep helped me a lot. Which I always ask alot of questions when buying electronic products. You know stuff now is made to bring you back in about two years. But the employee walked me thru all the brands that was in their artillery according to the product. Gave me his best suggestions, and I was able to make a decision. Im always glad when I get things from here. They stand by what they sell you. I Always get the warranty just in case. GEEK SQUAD has me covered.

I only gave a 1 bc one employee was helpful. Me and my bf went to get phones. The girl was very rude, condescending, wouldnt at all help show phones or plans. Wouldnt answer any questions really. I went and got a manager but he wasnt knowledgeable on the phones or plans it doesnt seem bc.he just got another employee to help us. The girls was so rude and acted like I wasnt suppose to bother them. I would have walked out not buying nothing but I busted my boost mobile phone and had a best buy gift card. They do not carry boost phones. They ensured me I could buy an unlocked phone and it could go to any service. I got one for 129 . It was advertised 89 buy bc I couldnt activate it inside the store( which I would have but they dont service boost mobile) I had to pay a different price than shown. I would have called and got it switched inside the store but that wasnt good enough. They didnt carry cases for anything but iphones. And when I made the purchase I was told it was a 49 restock fee if I had to bring the phone back. For any reason . I was out of 49 period even 1minute after sale. I will never shop at a best buy again. The employees should learn manners and actual customer service. My bf walked out completely and wasnt wanting me to even redeem my gift card. Ive never, not even at a dollar tree been spoke to so rudely and brushed off like I enterrupted there talking .. now I know why I love amazon.

I’ve spent thousands at Best Buy because they have a monopoly, not because I like the store. Usually have good experiences with best....for the most part. On 06/12/2021 went in the store and placed an order for a refrigerator, dish washer and stove. Dishwasher was scheduled to be delivered in 08/14/2011, no big deal. The stove and refrigerator were scheduled to be delievered on 06/30/2021, so I took time off from work to be home when it they were supposed to be delivered. Get an email on 06/13/2021 requesting I schedule my dishwasher delivery, then on 06/17/2021 I get another email informing me the refrigerator was out of stick and they would call me when it was available. I call customer service and burt informed me it wouldnt be available until 08/16/2021, when I asked him why was I able to order it in the store and schedule a delivery date for 06/30/2021 if they didnt have it in stock. He said that would have to do with the store. Sounds like they are trying to make sales without having the product to sale.

Let me tell you about Best Buy. They are an electronics retailer. They advertise computers. Guess what? They dont have any computers in the store. I looked at 8 laptops. Not one of them was in stock. Guy offers no apologies. Says he can order them. Well I can order it and not go through the trouble of going to the store, waiting forever to talk to someone, and being told they can order it. Im the kind of person that actually likes to go to a store and leave with a purchase. No wonder people go to Best Buy, look at the merchandise, and go home to order it on-line at a lower price. If you can manage to keep some products in stock, Best Buy, sell as much as you can in the next five years, because you will be extinct. You can join Circuit City in retail failure heaven.

I went there to buy a laptop and had $700.00 to spend. I had ont picked out and couldnt get anyone to help me. I went to the geek squad area and read shunned by the employees. Best by is known for having poor customer service. When I got to the line over at geek squad I got on line and when I was the next person she went into the back room and then came out still ignoring me. She went two ladies 70 feet away and never helped me. I will never ever go to best buy agsin.

I ordered and paid for a laptop. I got confirmation for store pickup. I waited on hold four times in a little over an hour to add my daughter’s name to the pick-up as she was already in the area. What I thought was one of the best, Best Buy experiences has been the absolute worst experience, ever. I made an in store purchase on FEBRUARY 2ND, cancelled it maybe 2 weeks later because our appliances were supposed to be delivered in a few days—we hadn’t received confirmation, and we didn’t receive an in store promotion of 400 gift card. Best Buy said our order somehow magically turned into a “ghost order” that it “wasn’t processed as paid” even though I HAD THE RECEIPT IN MY HAND and our appliances wouldn’t be delivered at the time or on the date we set in the store. We called customer service, appliance department, geek squad, requested the order to be cancelled, they said you guys need to go to the store. We go to the store, they said nope can’t do anything here you’ll have to call this service number and they can take care of it. I’ve called, cancelled, received a reference number. Payment has not been returned to my Best Buy card. I’ve filed fraudulent activity since Best Buy couldn’t return the money for appliances I never received. It’s now March 11th. I have made multiple 2:30hour phone calls where I’m just transferred around in a circle. I have gone to Lowe’s, purchased installed and made payments on our appliances and I’ve had to call Best Buy & Citi Bank everyday and nobody can get it right. I will NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE ADVICE ANYONE TO GET APPLIANCES THROUGH BEST BUY. This has been terrible & have had nobody resolve this matter. As I’m typing this I’m currently on hold because I received an email wishing to schedule delivery of the appliances I cancelled 3+ weeks ago and am awaiting reimbursement for. Worst customer service. The associates will not acknowledge you unless you are in a queue created at the front door, which you are not aware of. Make sure all you items are in the bag as you leave or you will have to spend 1.5 hours on hold when you call the store back to tell them. When you call is finally answered by a phone service, they will send an email to the store manager to have them call you back........still waiting. Do your self a favor, buy online, get you items next day !

I went in looking for the new iPhone 12, Scott was very helpful with finding what I needed and explaining the entire process. This was the first time I purchased a phone from Best Buy and I dont think Ill buy a phone from another place again! Great customer service!!!

Always a great place to shop in person to see physical items up close. Staff is friendly and helpful despite social distancing. Patience is necessary with todays climate. Stock is delayed or only available online at times. Just know this when coming to the store.
