We’ve been using them for our company’s box truck and they truly go out of their way to help us when we need it! Always so quick to get us in whenever we need service. I brought my car in for a service which I was told was necessary by another auto shop. Carolina Auto was offering it for half the price and when I ended up bringing it in they even ended up telling me that wasn’t needed on my car. They did tell me what they recommended me having done and all in all it ended up saving me money and I got the right services performed. They were very honest and didn’t push and I was really appreciative. Nickie at the front desk was very kind and I appreciated how thoroughly she explained everything. I will be going back!

I called Carolina Auto Service on a whim in need of an inspection. Victoria was super sweet and said that while they’re usually appointment-based, she could squeeze my Hyundai Elantra in. They fixed some of my parking lights and completed the inspection for a great price. Would highly recommend!

I give this place three stars only because their customer service was great. They kept me posted with updates and picked up every phone call. BUT women beware of the stereotypical mechanic experience where they assume you do not know anything about cars. I went in to get a check engine light diagnostic. The codes read P0171 & P0174 on a 2003 Mits Eclipse. This shop said my car NEEDED a new intake manifold and since the dealership was out of the part, it could cost around $2000. I immediately picked up my car. I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the air filter, and the service light turned off. This shop will jump to the worst conclusion first, so beware.

Follow-up - So happy with the repair that I went back when it was time for a major maintenance check, oil change, tire rotation, and tune up. Once again - thorough job. Clear communication. I can even schedule via their web site. I am a happy customer.Great job resolving the issues with my Honda CRZ batteries. Problem identified in a reasonable time and at a fair price. It was a relief to find a service center that handles Honda hybrids that is not a dealership; they are not common. I will definitely go back to Carolina Auto Service when I have future auto service needs!

We’ve taken our vehicles here for a couple of years now and they are always well taken care of and any repairs needed are of quality and done quickly. The staff are professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. We’ll continue to bring them our vehicles for service and repairs!

Spent $5600 on a new engine for a new engine in November of 2020 and took my car back in for the same issue in may 2021 with the engine still under warranty they wouldn’t fix the issue then the mechanic got my car stuck in neutral and had to pay to get it towed because of there mistake and them saying it would be 10,000-15,000 to fix it after the messed it up. Worst “Christian” auto service I’ve ever been too will never go back and never send anyone there : please get second opinion they will screw you over big time

Very friendly and personable. They do good work and stand by their work. Easy to make an appointment and drop off vehicle. They provide timely updates and estimates. And they check up the day after pickup to make sure you’re satisfied with the repairs. After I moved, I chose to keep going to Carolina Auto Service even though there are several shops closer to my new home.

They are super friendly and professional! I was nervous at first due to my car being a hybrid, but Vicki assured me throughout the entire process! They also call to let you know how things are going and if changes should be made! They’re amazing. They will definitely be my go to company from now on!

Great service and pricing. My car had died and I had it towed over, because we thought it was my starter. Victoria was great she let me know that it was just my battery, they also found that there was an issue with my tires that I hadnt even noticed. They got both fixed up for me for less than what a starter would have cost. I was always in the loop and had my car back within a day and a half. They are my new mechanics from here on out.

Our A/C went out on us halfway to our family vacation on the Outer Banks around 3:30 pm on the Friday of the Fourth of July weekend. I made multiple phone calls to local garages and they all were too busy to help us or didnt answer. Finally Bill from Carolina Auto Service answered. He said that theyd be happy to help & texted me directions. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, cheerful & super helpful. They got us fixed up in about 90 minutes and back on the road for what I consider to be a reasonable price (on any day much less that close to a holiday). Our A/C was perfect for the entire week and when I took it to my local mechanic once we got home he was able to find the small leak in my A/C and fix it because of the dye that Carolina Auto Service put in it for just that reason. It was an A+ experience. Thank you all so much! We were blessed to find you.

Hands down best mechanic ive ever been too. Keep going back bc they 1) fix the issue 2) proactively communicate and 3) are friendly professional. It’s so great to find peace of mind with dentists, mechanics and doctors, grateful the times I’ve tried to wire things into my truck and screwed up that they are able to fix it with precision and professionalism.

I have used Carolina Auto Care for my regular maintenance since I moved to Winston Salem. This trip was for my NC state inspection. They got me scheduled for appointment quickly and they are one of few car maintenance places that Ive found that actually stick to their appointments. Everything went smoothly and they are very intentional about doing follow-up and making sure that their customers are satisfied.

This place is amazing!! I got stranded in wake forest N.C.!! My daughter was admitted to the hospital on monday. She got discharged on Wednesday and just as we were leaving the hospital I noticed my car was leaking oil. So needless to say I had to find somewhere for me and my daughter and 5 yr old to stay for the night because I knew I couldn’t drive a 4 hour drive home with an oil leak!! I called This place and talked to BOB and got an estimate. And he reassured me that they could have it fixed today so we could get home, although the part had to come from high point .. So I drove my car over to the shop and within 15 minutes of us getting there my part had arrived... Bob and his wife and mechanic were so nice and treated me and my kids like family... he didn’t try to say that anything else had to be repaired. I highly recommend this place if your ever in the Winston Salem area.. they are 10 minutes from Wake forest Baptist health... very friendly and reasonable priced. No over charge I had call another mechanic before him and they quoted me $650 which was ridiculous.. so drive on over and see BOB and his crew .... 6/13/19 overall great experience and will use them again as I travel a lot to wake forest ...

They are straight forward, honest, and offer reasonable prices for their services. I always research reasonable prices online and research my own diagnosis of my car problem before going to the mechanic. The staff here have always been consistent and within the average price of what I researched, knowing their honesty means I will continue bringing my car here for future fixes.

The folks here did a phenomenal job of taking care of her and easing my fears as well, since as the husband I was feeling quite useless, 6hrs away. Had something hanging from the bottom of my car and was dragging on my way to work. I stopped in Carolina Auto Service because it was the closest place to me. Nice folks, car overheated badly about 2:30, pulled in here after I let it cool down. Had a firm estimate on replacing a water pump and a bunch of hoses and a fan, flushing the cooling system, was renting a car next door by about 3:30. Car was ready next day at 1 as promised. Getting work done on a car is never fun but improves quite a bit when repairs are as prompt as youre told theyll be. Didnt shop price but seemed reasonable. Next time I need work Ill go back

Bob, Anita, and staff provided a very positive experience for me today. They offered me a ride back home while my car was in the shop for timing belt and water pump replacement, and picked me up again once they were done. All in all, Carolina Mobile Auto Service seems like an honest business and I would recommend their services without any reservation.

Difficult to get in touch. Poor follow-up and communication. I happened to be due for an oil change at the time I received a 1700$ bill for a separate issue and was expecting at least a complimentary oil change. Nope. Car was filthy inside and out with grease on the doors and dirt in the floor boards. No one even to explain what was wrong or to greet me when I got there. I know its not a life-or-death deal that requires moral support, but it would have been a nice touch given the hefty bill.

I am mechanically inclined and do most tune ups and maintenance myself. I thought my truck needed a new water pump, which would also include new timing belt. I didnt feel like spending my whole weekend under the hood. They looked at it and told me within an hour that my radiator was cracked. I was going to replace it myself but the price he gave me was well worth the extra time Id have with my family. They also gave me a ride home when I dropped it off and fixed a window motor that just happened to break as I was pulling in (at a good deal). These guys are honest and work quickly. Not sure what else one could ask for in a mechanic.

Always up-front and honest with reasonable and affordable prices (much cheaper than AAA!). Very friendly service and as a woman, I always feel completely comfortable coming here and knowing that I wont get over-charged (since I really dont know much about cars). I also hear that theyre planning to offer roadside assistance to their customers, which is awesome!

Every time I go they are very thorough and incredibly respectful. I had my shifter refuse to go into park, and they figured out and fixed it without any of that condescension that I normally have to deal with when I go to car places. It messed up again, but, like it always tends to do, it stopped being an issue once I got there. Rather than dismissing my complaint, they did a full workup, and discovered where the issue was, all without charging me because it was a continuing problem. They are very kind and I never feel like Im being bamboozled, despite being an inexperienced young female. I absolutely recommend this place, especially for newcomers who need a place that they can trust.

My husband and I gave both used Carolina Auto. Its got a very small town feel. Sometimes there are communication issues about how long things will take to be completed but everyone for the most part is nice, prices are decent, and the work is done right.

SHORT STORY: Wonderful experience! Bill was incredibly nice, helpful, and his guys were QUICK! Took my car in for an oil change and was out of there within 30 minutes! The waiting room was nicely decorated, clean, quiet & stocked with free coffee from a Keurig - very nice touch! I needed a rare and hard-to-find wiper blade and asked Bill, the owner, if they could find one for me - he said he would call me and let me know asap -- he called me the next day with a great price and didnt even charge me for his labor! I have already recommended this shop to my employees and friends and will continue to recommend to every one!LONG STORY: I dont usually do reviews even though I regularly use them to determine which business I will patronize. I decided to do a review this time because this place really deserves it. I am the daughter of a great mechanic and grew up working in my Dads small, family-owned and operated auto repair shop all my life. Now that I have moved 4 hours away, it is significantly harder to go up to Dads and get my oil changed as I always have. Therefore, a couple of days ago when I realized my need for an oil change was getting dangerously overdue, I decided it was time to branch out. Ive always been very skeptical of repair shops b/c of the horror stories you hear about young women who dont know a whole lot about their car being taken advantage of - going in for a $35 oil change and leaving with a $400 bill. So, when I googled local repair shops and came across this like-minded shop, I thought Id give it a try. Bill and the guys at this shop were terrific. Their service was done exactly as their website says - timely and consistent automotive services with integrity, quality and value. They had me in and out of there in 30 minutes, explained everything, and even mentioned that I needed a new back wiper blade (which I knew and had been putting off for quite some time) and offered to order it for me so that I wouldnt have to go to the Chevy dealership as I thought I would. I asked if he knew how much it would cost and b/c he wasnt sure and was nice enough not to guess, he told me he would call me as soon as he found out. He called me the next day with a great price (part only, no labor charged!) and told me I could come in any time and they would just take care of it for me. I went back today and had the wiper put on within 10 minutes.These guys are great - service like this is rare and should be highly valued and rewarded - I know Ill do so by continuing to bring my car there from now on!

Well in a world of crime, uncertainty, distrust and a lot of just plain mass confusion, it is great to finally find a honest and trust worthy auto service dealership.I was 1st of all just excited to find this place from an announcement of the radio AM 830 (The Truth) last week. I was still a little apprehensive about what I would find out about my cars problems. After waiting for the man to drive my car, the owner sat down with me and explained everything that was wrong. He not only explained this to me but also explained all the working parts and why they were possibably wearing out. He then gave me choices of what I should fix 1st, due to the fact that there would be some unexpected expense.I felt so at ease and comfortable with the check that I am making plans to go back for the repairs. He also e-mailed me the price and then to my surprise (being a woman ) he also e-mailed me a picture of my car and the working parts underneath the car that were needing repair. Now that to me is over and beyond the call of service ! I understand more about what is needed as repairs. I would reccomend anyone that has been taken in by their mechanic to just go by and see what a quailty place this is.It really makes you feel better knowing there are people still out there that care about not only their bussiness but also the customer & follows the golden rule.And thank you AM 830 The Truth radio station.!

Quick and Courteos Annual State Auto inspection ...

They refused to serve me because I came from another service center and had a difficult issue to solve that they didnt want to make me mad by throwing money at. I will not return.

They took my A/C problem on short notice and solved the problem. It did take two days, but they came and got car from work, and it was on very short notice. In fact, I called while rolling to work. Will use them again if the need arises.
