My Dad and me hit a nail on the way home from working. Our tire was completely flat! Luckily this shop was right beside us. We walked up to the shop and asked for help. The mechanic “Alex” stopped everything he was doing to help us. He was very considerate and basically charged us nothing to help. This definitely made our day. Thanks so much!

Had them replace my thermostat and a few months later my vehicle began to overheat and I suspected the thermostat was faulty they put in. I towed it back to the shop and told them what I thought. They said it was the radiator instead of the thermostat because they didn’t want to do the free warranty work. I took it home, replaced the radiator only to discover it really was the thermostat. When i brought it back, they refused me any service or compensation for my trouble. This place is located in a black community from who they profit from the most and in return they do shady business because they’ve been getting away with it. 🚨BEWARE 🚨

Took my wife car to get an inspection.

A month ago I went to a shop to get an estimate for my super duty truck, which was $1900 for the engine. A week later i went to Latinos and they gave me another estimate/diagnostic which was $800 to fix the fuel injectors. After all was finished the car was running perfectly & I saved $1100! The service was wonderful, and i will be bringing my car and families cars here. I recommend this place for sure!

Yes I went here to get my brakes done. Prior to me coming here I had no noise coming from my car, however when they finished with my car I had all kinds of noises. I took it back and they said that I need control arms and it would cost me $600. Please do not take your car to them unless you want to pay more for stuff they mess up.

Maybe these people went there when there was another guy that used to work there his name was Luis or something like now that was a thief seriously but when it comes to the people that work there now theyre nice and have no complains about them. God bless them.

Seems fair on some things but I wouldnt recommend large or exspensive repairs. Fast inspections and oil changes. Maybe brakes but thats about it.

This place is horrible.I went there with my brand new car for a oil change and they broke my radiator on purpose . so i go back so they can fix my radiator and they didnt put the new one on rite so it can wind up breaking again. Then i go so they can put freeze on into my A.C and they take my brand new can of freeze on and replace it with a empty one and act like there filling my A.c. up so then they say your A.C compressor is broken wich was a LIE!last but not least they changed my brakes and left the one on the passengers side loose almost causing me a accident... Me and my family are taking legal actions... These ppl are horrible pplno good individuals 👎

WORST PLACE TO BRING YOUR CAR!!!! DONT COME HERE PLEASE. I HAD BOUGHT MY OWN CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL MYSELF FOR THEM TO INSTALL, GOT THE CAR BACK, AND LATER IN THE MIDST OF POURING RAIN AT NIGHT, CAR WOULDNT START, HAD TO ROLL CLUTCH JUMP THE CAR TO GET IT GOING. NEXT MORNING JACKED THE CAR TO FIND MY STARTER IS NOT EVEN CONNECTED. TOOK IT BACK AND THEY WANTED TO CLAIM I HAD DONE IT, HOW 🤷🏾‍♂️? Where do I start...first of all I took my car to this place for a brake job ok so when I went to pay them for the job the broken machine they have took money off my card and wasn’t showing up in either account, so after a month of waiting the problem was finally fixed. Cool... then after they so called fixed the brake problem my starter mysteriously stops working I paid these ppl a total of $1300 for issues they caused if you ask around WS everyone will tell you how unprofessional they are also after I get my car back it’s running worse then it was before!! DONT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Went there for over a year. Recently found out they have been not doing my repairs with new parts like I was invoiced for. They also put my family’s life in danger as there were no locking mechanisms put on when my front two wheel bearings were changed. I have plenty of pictures as proof if you’d like to see them. Also they overcharge an insane amount.

I wish had read the reveiw before i went heredont ever take your car to this place they are a bunch of SCAM arttest .i took my car there before memorial day to be fixed even paid $2500 up Front they came back 2 weeks later saying the engine was GONE the engine was covered by warranty so they got another $2000 check to put an engine in . how about its now Aug 19th they the car gor 4 months and still car not ready i dont think any work was dome yet they got $4500 sounds like ive been scammed thats what i get for trying to help the little man .

You try to support your own, Black and Brown, but some people are just plain UNETHICAL and IRRESPONSIBLE, and downright DISHONEST.I will NEVER take my vehicle to Latinos #1 Auto Repair, on Akron Drive in Winnston Salem, again...EVER!I recently (last week) paid them (c/o Louie) $452 to replace my fuel pump. When I got the van back, I was pleased that the problem was fixed, as this is my and my familys sole transportation right now. So I drove it home, and went about my business.YESTERDAY, I came out to make a store run for my Wife, and the van WOULDNT START! My first thought was, I just had this fuel pump REPLACED...it CANT be dead ALREADY!Then I noticed the fuel gage, and it said I had 280 miles to empty??? So, then I thought, maybe I ran out of gas and didnt know it because the gage is giving me a false reading.So I called the mechanic who worked on it (Louie), and let him know what was going on, and asked if I could bring it in. He said he was really swamped and wouldnt be able to get to it then, and that if I didnt get it in Saturday (today), I would have to wait a WEEK, because they were closing for XMAS...and asked if I could bring it in tomorrow (today). He said, The earlier, the better. I let him know I had to work, and that I would see about having my wife drop the van off (today).I have to be at work at 8:30, and the route I take to work takes me RIGHT PAST the mechanic shop; and when we passed by, there was NO ONE THERE...which I kinda expected.So, I get to work, and at 9:03 am, I call Louie and ask when I can bring the van in. He hesitates and stammers a little, saying he doesnt have any mechanics at the shop right now, and I said, Just give me an idea... He said, bring it in around 10:00. I said, Ok, will do.Things got a little busy at work and around 10:30, I texted my wife and told her to take the van to the mechanic. I then called the mechanic, Louie, and let him know my wife was on the way with the van.This is where it gets surreal...He begins, again, to hesitate and stammer, saying, in essence, he didnt have time to get to it today...because they were CLOSING AT NOON...which he DID NOT MENTION the day before...NOR earlier THIS MORNING (9:03am)!I said, Louie, you said bring it in around TEN.. then he proceeds to CUT ME OFF, telling me, I told you YESTERDAY to bring it in around 8:30, the sooner the better. Its almost 11:00 now, and the job takes at least two hours, and were closing at 12...that job will take til at least 1:00. The pump is working, right? Its just that the gage isnt reading correctly...right? Can you WAIT TIL NEXT WEEK and bring it in?(Im thinking WTH???)I said, Louie, this happened on YOUR WATCH, at YOUR SHOP, and I need for you to MAKE THIS RIGHT!So, we went back and forth for a minute or so, and he kept insisting that it was MY fault, because I didnt bring it in EARLY enough, when the TRUTH is, he admitted he didnt have anyone in the shop when he CLAIMED to have said to bring it in!He was UNWILLING to work an EXTRA HOUR to fix a problem HIS SHOP created, and he want ME to wait an EXTRA WEEK for him to fix it??....HELL NO!!I finally said, Never mind, man...Ill just take it so SOMEONE ELSE...and tell EVERYBODY what kind of business yall do!...and I hung up.I cannot even IMAGINE a UNIVERSE where this kind of treatment is ACCEPTABLE. Sure, Im going to have to pay a little more to get this fixed, but I refuse to wait an ENTIRE WEEK for someone who CREATED the Problem to FIX the problem...simply because he wants to close at noon.It does not please me to make this kind of report, but I feel an INJUSTICE was done, and his UNREPENTANT response makes me to know his shop is UNWORTHY of MY business.ANYONE in WINSTON SALEM who needs, or is looking for, a DEPENDABLE, HONEST mechanic, I would definitely NOT recommend Latinos #1 Auto Repair, on 557 Akron Drive...The 1 star rating is the ONLY WAY I could POST this review.
