I only shop here because the sweet bread selection is the best on this side of town. The female staff in the front are always unfriendly and talk bad about customers, which is why I try not to buy more than just the bread.

People there are very helpful and friendly.. From the very helpful and polite Compadres in the back to the Pretty Ladies in the front..

Excellent location with awesome food

Place was very dirty, there was cockroaches by the meat section and none of the staff had on masks or gloves for the meats, I asked for meat and In return I got something that looked out of a horror movie or a crime scene, it’s obvious they don’t care about quality or hygiene here and the butcher was coughing all over the meats and again NO MASK, I had to leave and walk out because the whole scene was just obscene and unbearable to watch, I think now I know how COVID started and it definitely started at El Rey because all the employees are gross and DEFINITELY NOT SANITARY.

Excellent quality, but the girls that attend are unfriendly. Thats why I hardly ever buy in this place. Theres only one boy in charge of the meat that s very kind.
