My best friend brags about this place so I’ve wanted to go in for a while. It smells so wonderful inside. The girl behind the counter was so friendly and helpful, and even gave me samples of their homemade chocolate and caramel for my first visit! I bought some dark chocolate almond clusters, which my partner raved about. I bought myself an almond toffee bar and it is AMAZING. So delicious. And I just ate the free caramel and it was probably the softest caramel I’ve ever had. I love this place, the chocolates are so nice that I plan to buy many to give as Christmas gifts this year. I can’t wait to go back and get a caramel apple.

We were in Winston-Salem for a couple of days and stopped by Kilwins for an ice cream after dinner. We also purchased a box of dark chocolate caramels. Both were excellent. The price is more than the average ice cream store but after all its NOT the average ice cream store.

Candy Apples Were AMAZING! I Got Fudge, First Time Trying It Here And Its Sooooo Sweet. Like Super Super Sweet. I Could Only Eat A Small Piece At A Time Because It Was Overwhelmingly Sweet! My Husband Can Drink Sugar Like Water And He Also Said It Was Very Sweet. So We Didnt Like The Fudge But Definitely Fought Over The Last Slice Of Candy Apple! Lol It Was My 1st Time Here And I Got Two Free Samples, I Think One Was A Caramel Roll And The Other Was A Small Chocolate Bar. I Didnt Like Either Of Them. So I Will Be Returning But Only For Thosr Delicious Candy Apples!!!! Yummm

Veey nice location, few spot in their parking in front of the store. Their products are delicious but to be honest, even the quality it is good, their price is high to expensive. You can find similar product for less in different story.

A quaint little candy shop. While we didnt try the candy, we did try the homemade ice cream. Amazing! Worth every penny!

Their ice cream and chocolate is 1000x better than Deweys. They dont taste anywhere near as industrial. The chocolate ice cream is always to die for.

I went in today for the first time to surprise my girlfriend with chocolate covered strawberries and flowers. Greeted and treated with the upmost respect! The chocolate samples she game were amazing! Apple ice cream is simply delicious and the employees were so friendly! Ate at kilwins in Chicago and the employees there were awesome also! Definitely recommend this place to soothe your sugar cravings!

They have ice cream, homemade fudge, chocolate covered strawberries and oreos, caramel apples with delicious toppings the list goes on. A little pricey on some items. Good place to take kids to get ice cream.

I purchased a big box of chocolates for my wife on Valentines Day from Kilwins. My wife said it was the best chocolate she ever tasted. Kilwins is the best.

Staff is incredibly friendly. Shelby and Marie are very knowledgeable of their products. Which helps you make choices. These two ladies make me feel welcome when I come by their store. The ice cream is great!!!!

BEWARE!!! Dont buy the gourmet apples without having them sliced in the store. My husband bought a turtle apple for me and brought it home. Once I cut it open, it was rotten on the inside. I should have known because the handle (stick) would not stay in the apple.During a later trip to the store, I told an employee about the last apple that was bought at their store. She said, That hasnt happened before.... She did not apologize or offer to reimburse me for the rotten apple. It would have been nice to have been acknowledged. I dont lie and expected more from Kilwins. For the past 5 years, we would drive to Boone, NC to shop and buy a turtle apple at Kilwins. All the employees at that location are extremely nice and helpful. I guess we will drive 2 hours to shop where the workers are pleasant to their customers.

Really good ice cream, some of the best vanilla I have ever eaten. So creamy. They have candies and sweet treats galore. You can definatly satisfy your sweet tooth here!!

Im a huge fan of all Kilwins locations. They have wonderful fudge, 🍦 ice cream, 🍬 candies and treats. Their seasonal treats like pumpkin are always memorable. They also have a ♿ handicap accessible entrance and parking.

Nice, clean place with pleasant staff (thanks AJ!). Delicious dark chocolates. Try the dark chocolate sea salt caramels in the small, light blue box. They also have a small candy-making area so its fun to watch and makes the place smell like candy!
