I am pleased to recommend this practice as a client of 4.5 years. I feel they care about me as a person. Employees are super nice and seem happy - several have worked there for years. My visits were efficient, which I prefer, but not rushed. Dr. Hall did my final screening sessions both times, which gets high marks from me, as some places you might never see the owner.Very professional, very knowledgeable. They have the latest technology. The office is very comfortable and pleasing to eye after a recent renovation.

Everyone was very nice. I felt as though I’d always gone to them and almost like I’d always known them. They explained what they were doing and also results. Even when they dialated my eyes to check their health, the Dr. said they were in great shape which at my age (81) gave me great piece of mind. I’ve been coming here to see Dr. Hall for several years now. After struggling for a long time to find any contacts that I can truly wear all day (I have an astigmatism) and she worked with me to find the perfect pair.They also have the absolute best selection of frames for the whole family. I’ve never gotten so many compliments. My wife, daughter, and I have never been let down on the selection and service.

This is not an eye doctor belonging to a chain or big medical conglomerate and that was the main reason I went here the first time... Now I came back because I had the best experience here. Everyone is super helpful and professional.

I love Dr Hall. Did not particularly enjoy checking in. The receptionist asked me if I had been vaccinated I said no, and informed her I had had COVID. I was not rude, I was very nice. She responded that she had not asked me that. I was a little embarrassed. Kasey is great and Joey is too. Wonderful folks to deal with and very helpful.

I was well pleased with the overall experience. Dr. Hall was warm and thorough in her examination of my eye health. The appointment went by in a timely manner and I left knowing more about my vision and how to better care for my eyes and protect from blue light as someone who works remotely from home. I definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and family!

Great staff and great attention from the doctor. Took a bit of wait for her to see me, but these days, just getting seen is an accomplishment. Very helpful and just to be on the safe side, suggested a couple tests from my other doctors. Very thorough examination. They even took the extra time to provide with coupons for my scripts which saved me a bunch of money. Vision medicine is quite expensive for some reason. So dont forget to ask for coupons if they give you a script.

2:45 appointment and since Im new, I got there at 2:30, pre filled all forms online and brought my contact fitting paperwork too. Checked in, and at 3:05 still sitting in the empty lobby. Would be nice if they respected patients time or if the person working at the check in area even apologized Im waiting to see if they try to bill me for missing an appointment.

Just went for my annual checkup. Dr. Hall always has the latest technology for eye exams. Her staff is super friendly and helpful. I always leave knowing my eyes are being well taken care of and that Im going to have the very best glasses and contacts possible.

If you are a new patient and wear contacts frequently, DO NOT sign the contact fitting consent form. I signed the form (against my better judgement) and was charged $139 for the same brand of contacts Ive been wearing for years, on top of one contact was not the right prescription. They call this a fitting. Essentially, I paid $139 for one contact, since I cant wear the other one.

My first experience here was great. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very nice and helped find a solution to the problems I’ve been having with my eyes. The eyewear selection was good and I didn’t feel pressured to buy optional services. I will return here next year for my eye exam. Thanks!

I recently had a sliver of metal embed in my left eye. I called Hillcrest Vision, and even as a new customer, Dr Hall and her staff were able to see me that day. She was able to remove the metal and handled my concerns very professional and made me feel confident in her abiltes. The staff were amazing as well the facility was very nice, clean and inviting. Our entire family goes to Dr. Hall. I’ve had glasses/contacts my entire life. I feel more at home and at ease with Dr. Hall than any other place I have visited. My 5 year old was very scared at first and they were fantastic at easing her mind. We would recommend to every person that asks hands down.

I brought my five year old daughter here for an eye exam. The staff was extremely courteous and handled her with great care. The optometrist and assistant were very patient and explained everything they were doing so that my daughter could understand and not be afraid. After her exam, she chose the frames she most favored and I was told it would take two weeks for her glasses to arrive. It’s been well over two weeks and I have heard nothing from Hillcrest. Had I known it would take longer than two weeks, I would have asked for a copy of her prescription so that it could be taken elsewhere and filled within a timely manner. The optometrist explained that due to her poor vision, the prescription would be strong and my daughter would need time to adjust. I was hoping she would be able to adjust before starting kindergarten, but it doesn’t seem like this will be possible. So, two stars for the lack of communication and clarification.

Hillcrest Vision gets 5 stars! The office is large, warm and very comfortable. The check in staff was very cordial. The pre-exam work was not rushed and Dr. Hall was outstanding. She did not rush, she explained what she was performing, and explained my exam results in laymans terms. Lastly, the check out process was excellent. They have an incredible inventory of frames and their eye technician did a great job of explaining my lens and frame options. Im so glad I chose them (based on the reviews).

I am glad I went there. They took time to answer my questions and address my concerns. I feel like they really know what theyre doing. I can see clearly with my new contacts so far. This is my first day with them in. I did not get this great care with my previous doctor after multiple visits and 2 sets of contact lenses that I couldnt see well enough with to even drive. Hillcrest did for me in one visit what my other doctor couldnt accomplish in 6 visits. I will definitely continue going to Hillcrest Vision from now on.

My husband went here a few years ago and I got glasses, and he got contacts. There was no problem with me getting my glasses, but it took a ridiculously long time for my husband to get his contacts.

I am extremely disappointed in this experience. I changed my star rating from 3 to 1. We have been coming to Hillcrest for 5-6 years. This is our second year of being completely dissatisfied with our service. We arrived on time for our appointment, however, it was 45 minutes before we saw Dr. Hall. We had to wait a long time last year too. Secondly, my daughter is 10 and she is good at talking with doctors about her needs and questions. This is important for girls to ask and advocate for what they need. This is the second year that my daughter has been cut off from asking questions and processing what is happening. I am so disappointed. How else can a child learn to ask questions and be part of the plan for caring for her own eyes? When cut off from asking questions, the only strategy that remains is for us adults to take ownership of her vision health and simply tell her what to do. We have not experienced the process described in Dr. Halls description, evaluate how patients live, work, and play and then customize a treatment plan that meets their visual needs, no matter what the situation. Last year I extended grace thinking that everyone has days when they are off and not their best. I also wanted my daughter to have a female sys doctor. This is our second time in a row and I am very disappointed in the wait and in the lack of engagement with my daughter.

I just took my 2 and a half year old here. He has been acting out and throwing small fits. He was not excited about the visit and tried to fight us and the nurse through everything. BUT amazingly when the doctor came in she was able to speak to him on his level. She spoke softly and quietly. He responded great and felt comfortable and was a great participant. We found he was far sided causing alot of blinking. She also explained a lot about childrens eye development and things to help him and other things to watch for. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. My wife and I were amazed by our visit.THANK YOU!!

I love the crew here at Hillcrest! My new insurance doesnt have them in network any longer, but I couldnt imagine anyone but Dr. Hall taking care of me, so I paid the extra money to get to see her!
