I love shopping at Walgreens, they have a lot of special savings throughout the store. I can order online, and pick it up at a Walgreen near me. They have their own brand of orange juice, and cashews I just cant resist.
Slowest and worst Walgreens in existence. They are SEVERELY understaffed and no one there knows how to hustle. They’re nice enough people, but you’ll be there forever just to pick up a script. It’ll usually take 30 minutes JUST to talk to someone. Then you have to wait on top of that. Last month they gave me the wrong prescription! So, I had to go back in and get that fixed too. I know things happen sometimes, but still. I have other stories, but in a nutshell, they’re not very organized. I’m done with the headaches of trying to get good service there.Unless you have to have 24 hour service, go elsewhere. I’m moving all of mine across the street to Harris Teeter. You can talk to someone there in less than 5 minutes usually.
I get all my medicine there. Very nice and helpful employees. I have been a customerFor probably 15 years. Never had a problem. They allow my therapy dog, Piper in the store with no issues.
This store lied to a nurse about a piece of medical equipment they had in the pharmacy. The nurse told us they assured her it was in stock. When I got there, they did not have one. I was then ignored by the pharmacist for 45 minutes. Finally, at the direction of the manager, he took time to find the item at another store. There was no one else in line inside.
I went to fill my pain medication and was told the medication was out of stock and I look an hour later and now they are in process of filling my prescription. This place is always slow and ill stock and there are always at least 6-8 people behind the counter so what are they doing.
Was on hold for 35 minutes. three times someone picked up the phone and said please hold without ever asking me where i needed to be transferred. then after i was transferred i was in hold with someone picking up FOUR times and reconnecting the hold without saying anything. the lady who answered the phone in the pharmacy, when i asked to speak to a pharmacist, was extremely rude. when i finally spoke to a pharmacist to ask if i could mix two different medications for my one year old, i was told to google it because that is the same thing she would do and the store was extremely busy.
I received excellent customer service from Anthony at the Pharmacy. He was very helpful and patient with me. Definitely recommend this Walgreens.
Walgreens always has some super neat items!!! I always shop here when i make throw/trash bags. Thats what i call bags that i put different items into and gift to people for holidays or birthdays. I love the fact that they stay open for 24 hours considering walmart had the nerve to adjust their hours . I tried to return a back massager and some bio freeze that was unopened and unused with my receipt. Instead of giving me a refund they gave me a Walgreens card. I didnt understand that considering they took the item back anyways and probably put it back out into the floor, so why not refund me with the same form of payment that i paid with Instead of a store credit gift card. They are clean and they have pretty decent customer service. Walgreens is definitely also higher than hell...
Pretty average experience, no complaints
Every person that works here has always courteous and kind! The store isn’t always super clean, but it is open 24 hours, so that can be tough.
DO NOT USE THE PHOTO SERVICES HERE! I dropped off my disposable camera full of memories of my kids when young and they completely lost the camera and did no print out of them.im deeply saddened by their carelessness.
I bought store brand bleach at this location 12 days ago. This is not my normal store. I was in town with my daughter coming home from surgery. I just opened the bottle to use it today to disinfect some things, noticed the seal was gone and that there was almost no chlorine smell. Someone had removed the bleach, replaced it with water and put the bottle back on the shelf. Not sure who could have done this except an employee. I am horrified that someone would do this for $2.49 worth of bleach. Hope the store manager does some investigation and fires the person that did this.
I called late last night in need of 2 medicines my daughter had accidentally left at home in Virginia. The pharmacist, Daniel, was VERY kind, patient, and helpful. He took care of everything and all was well. Many thanks!!!
Went there with my mother to try to find something in the wrinkle department of the store to soothe her face. The nice young African American lady helped us generously. She had knowledge of cremes, gels, you name it, she was very informative about the products that Walgreens carried. We both were impressed! She recommended eye mascara which had a coupon on the Walgreens App along with No7 eye serum, another coupon as well and even body firming lotion. She also informed us of the do’s and dont’s regarding Vitamin C, Retinol, among other things you should be aware of when applying anything to your face. This young lady is a Gem to have! We both appreciated her time and effort in her awareness of products as well as her vast knowledge of all the products. We ended up purchasing the mascara which really works, along with the No7 eye serum that I have been applying to my mamas eyes for 3 weeks now and see a huge difference, and the body firming lotion tones your skin and prevents you from having crepeing skin. Thank You So Much For Helping Us Find What We Were Looking For, Your the Best!I highly recommend coming to this Walgreens when it comes to a knowledgeable employee in the make up counter, she knows what she’s talking about.
Today is September the 1st 2020 someone from the pharmacist called me I missed their the call but I call right back within a minute it took them a long time to answer and when someone did answer they asked me my name told me to hold on and never came back to the phone and when I called back they kept saying there is one person in front of me and no 1 ever answered the phone call I was on hold for over 30 minutes and it is 9:40 at night . CLOVERDALE Avenue Winton Salem North Carolina .
Consistently fills my RX on time. Pharmacy staff is very nice and knowledgeable.
I used to enjoy coming here for scripts because they were fast. Not today!! Ive waited inside for an hour while my spouse sits outside, in pain from surgery this morning. They said it would take a maximum of 45 minutes to approve the script and fill it because it was a narcotic. This is not right. I have had the same medications filled here and elsewhere and it never took more than 10-20 minutes. I dont know whats going on in this pharmacy but it needs some work. This is ridiculous.
Claiming to accept Tricare and actually doing so are two entirely different things. I am really getting fed up with the continued inability of thus pharmacy chain to process more than one insurance correctly. CHECK YOUR PRINT OUTS AND RECIEPTS !
I always preferred getting my prescriptions filled at Walgreens. The pharmacy is very professional, clean and attractive. There is always something new. And its always bright and festive during the holidays.
I switched to this Walgreens after they shut down my Rite Aid. I dont know if the extra patients or added workload is part of the problem but this place sucks. The pharmacy is the worst...slow, non-communicative, and unprepared. Every time theres some issues that couldve been resolved had someone actually picked up the phone and called a doctor or patient. Instead theyre lazy and just wait for an issue to occur instead of getting out in front of it.Sad state of affairs.
I went to the pharmacy at 4:00A:M and they said they had a policy of not filling prescriptions until 8:00A:M. The store is advertised as a 24 hour store. I will never go there again and no Walgreens anywhere ever. They are supposedly buying Rite Aid and when that happens I will move all of my prescriptions.
Love this store. Trying to ge5 it on instacart.
Second time in one month they didnt have my prescription for my 18 month old. That happens, not faulting them for that. However, they did not call me or my wife either occasion. Huge waste of time. Proceeded to wait 30 minutes while they called around. Couldnt wait any longer and the girl behind the counter (who was multitasking like a pro but lacked empathy for my situation) said shed call me when she found our medicine... Never heard from her. I just dont understand not contacting your customers when you had 8 hours to find it or at the very least let us know at 10:00 that you dont have it. Never coming back here not even for a birthday card.
Excellent, in one word. To describe this Winston Salem NC Colverdale Walgreens I have to use the word Excellent! They Always have in stock and on hand the rare and unusual prescriptions that most drug stores simply dont have on hand or in stock, or just dont Carry at all. As far as the staff goes, they are by far the best of the best. Eizzy (Isabel) is an outstanding Leader of this Pharmacy. She has a true care in her core for her job. Its internally obvious its much more than just a job for her. Eizzy had made me feel like I mattered from our first encounter. The Pharmacist Joshua A McDuffie is a well rounded Pharmacist with good ole southern, down home, bed side manners. Which we all know is rare now a days! He has a way of explaining your situation that you really can understand. This Walgreens is hands down absolutely worth the trip If its not in your neck of the woods. Give them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised. I rarely give a review good or bad but this one I couldnt let go. You all deserve to know what a hidden Gem this Walgreens truly is. Im just paying it forward by giving my personal opinion and letting you all know. They dont even know Ive written this. Until they read it along with you all. I sincerely wrote this review for your benefit and, the benefit of those you care for and Love.
Everytime our son has been admitted to the hospital across the street & we have to have meds filled that the hospital does not carry, it literally takes hours. This time after having to pay cash price for a med we had just picked up a few days before & a surprise admit. When we showed up an hour later as they told us it would be ready within an hour, the med was not filled because insurance did not go through. Then we were told it would be at least another hour before it could be filled because there policy is to not fill it until the customer shows up if insurance does not pay. We had already explained on the phone that he was admitted & had to have it tonight regardless of insurance. We were there but she told us she had to fill 6 other scripts before placing the label on our childs med that was already in her hand, with his script already pulled up. Pharmacist was very nice, night tech needs some customer service skills. Walgreens also does not accept good rx price. Med was $147 at walgreens, good rx price of around $45 & she also told me that the price was still around $130 with good rx coupon.
All Walgreens are garbage. They display prejudice for people receiving schedule II drugs. Every-time I try an fill a script at one of there stores, there is always some type of stipulation. I am sitting there wandering do you think everyone works first shift? Establishments like this, make you wander, just how far are we away from becoming a communist country.
They are terrible. They tell you youre medicine is ready and its not. They thave you coming back and forth for no reason.
Been several times and each time very slow. Last time I saw several people just finally leave (including me).
Bad customer service in the pharmacy. Took almost a hour to fill one prescription.
Horrible pharmacy. Slow, rude, and cant multitask. They need to get their lives together.
Sorry. Ignorant and lazy pharmacy
Pharmacy never answers the phone.
Cloverdale your the best!!!!!
