I DO NOT recommend shopping here. The store owner Linda who is an older light skin lady who was Extremely rude to me. I am not a confrontational person so I was dreading to return a sour cream product that had expired within 9 days of purchase. I don’t understand why the sour cream had expired already when the expiration date said it’s still good for the next 3 weeks. Due to Covid I can’t let money go to waste so I went back to the store. Linda snapped her fingers at me and I was told that I couldn’t exchange the product or get my money back. I asked why, and she said that the sour cream doesn’t expire til July 18 and that the store policy doesn’t accept merchandise after 10 days of purchase. I told her I understand but next time to make sure they add that store policy in the store or on the receipt. It wasn’t til I got in my car that I realized that I was still within the 10 days of purchase since this was day 9 so I got out my car to go back inside. An employee that was outside asked why I was going back in and I started to tell her the situation. This is when she snatched the receipt and sour cream out of my hands and put it in the store and left the property. I was shocked and confused and didn’t know what to do. I walked back inside the store and tried talking to Linda that my items were taken from me but SHE IGNORED me. I feel violated and since I’m not a confrontational person I feel that I was taken advantage of. Linda is the owner so she shouldn’t encourage this type of behavior from her staff. I’m more upset at how she handled the situation since she is the one that’s supposed to set an example. The employee had no right to take my items out of my hands. This pandemic is bad enough and I shouldn’t feel like I’m being assaulted when going to a store. This is my first review I have ever done but I felt the need to let people know the kind of staff they have working at La Providencia. So they kept my receipt and sour cream and treated me like trash. Anyways, Stay safe everyone.

The place was Very dirty and The food I purchased was expired! I tried to get a refund/exchange and no matter what I said that the product was expired in a week Linda( who I think is the owner) refused. the products are sold already expired to the public. I know things are tough with COVID but a business still needs to act accordingly. Very rude service will never going back.

Best place to go and get Mexican candy for a party they have more candy then other stores

She ignored me AND walked away while I tried asking her about the product and a refund for an EXPIRED item I bought at the store.
