Great affordable grocery store. We get everything we need, but you have to buy your bags for 11 cents. Sort of like Aldi. So only one drawback.

Always clean friendly, smaller crowd in store.Usually shorter lines and quick check out. Interesting and economical non food items.Good fresh produce section and frozen section. Toilet tissue and paper towels usually great quality and best price around. Always a great experience 👍

So many good things to say about this grocery store. The produce on display was very fresh and reasonably priced. They had yucca root! Double cream Brie at an excellent price. Childrens watches excellentprice...Christmas Gifts!I could go on and on.Try to visit during the week. It gets very busy and crowded on the weekends.Unfortunately I did not see disinfectant wipes for the carts.That was the only negative of the trip.

I always enjoy shopping at this store, especially the French baguette they have. Today October 16th, 2021 I went there as every weekend to get my Fresh baguette, they have them on sale $1.29 the cashier charged me 1.49 I didnt pay attention to how I was charged until I was packing my groceries then I realised that I was charged regular price. I went back to the store I asked the cashier that she charged me the wrong price. She asked which baguettes I got I told her the ones on sale, then asked her manager.the manager stated that probably they have limitted sale. I just laughed at that, because they were over loaded with French baguettes. I told to check and her answer was probably they were placed at the wrong spot, which is not the case....long story short I asked to speak with the store manager to complain about the attitude and the professionalism that both workers have. The store manager came and she wasnt following or she was giving and impression that she doesnt want even to listen to my conern. I took my baguettes and left the store. I guess they need to have more training in customer service, because I dont believe that they have a good understanding that because of customers they still have business first then job security.

I enjoy shopping at Lidl however, not a fan of their customer service. Never understood how when you are being cashed out, the cashier never speaks; not one word. I find that extremely rude.

Has good reasonably priced produce. Good selection of cheeses and deli meats. I dont eat bread but it looks and smells heavenly.

Great place. Heard about it on the radio and it blew my mind. Its so clean and the people, both consumer and employee, are nice and all neighborhood-y. Its nice, for a change. Walmart doesnt have that feel. And the prices were incredible. Diapers for less than $4??? Yup. That alone is worth the trip. Also, when you park your car, check out the landscaping. Its beautiful.

Very bad customer service, I try to buy some items from the clearance rack and when I got to the register they couldnt scan the items, and when I asked for a manager she just told since they cant scan the items they just can sell them, turned around my face how rude... after I just spend over 200 dollars there, it was in front of my mom she makes me feel like I was nothing. I am a business owner and I will never treat a customer like that.

Fantastic store! First time trip and they have a great selection of just about everything other than yogurt. Prices are excellent especially for locally sourced fresh veggies and fruit. Best part is they have a wide selection of wines priced in many categories and even good wine under $3 a fifth.

Always enjoy our visit to LidlShopped today with my mom. Having been born in Germany and growing up there during my formative years there is so much I miss. But.....now we have Lidl.....our Cashier was so friendly. Store is always clean. Prices are great. Social distancing recommendations were very easy to follow. Love this Sidebranch location.

Everything is reasonably priced and there is a lot of nice items. We get our meats and produce from lidl. I would but their herb plants as well, buy I always forget when Im there.Make sure to bring your own reusable bags, but they do sell their own paper and reusable bags

Good selection of grocery items and home goods, cleaning supplies, seasonal items, etc. Not sure if I could do all my shopping here but good for a quick and small trip. They do have a good deli, 🥯🥖 bakery, 🥒🥦🍅produce, and frozen section. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms.

I bought these day before yesterday and the exp date is june 29 but when I opened one to give my baby there was mold in it. Waste of money and timeNever going back again.

I like this store! Its not too big and not too crowded and I dont spend an arm and a leg when. I go. The produce especially is very cheap and fresh.

Store is very clean and modern. Love the layout and ease of finding things. I do wish there was more vegan options and the staff was a little nicer but overall I will go back every week!

I really like Lidl’s. Prefer the layout of the Fairview location to the Peters Creek.

Like usual, seasonal weekly promos out of stock and I even went the 2nd day of the sale in an attempt to beat the crowd.

Discount wholesaler of local needs and wants. I wanted a good beer and some face wash when I visited. I ended up leaving with good beer, face wash, and $40 worth of things I didnt need.Lidl is a money pit for compulsive shoppers and people that just got off of a 12 hour shift from the night before. Beware!

There isnt a charge to use the carts. The bags are 6 and 10 cents each.The bakery is nice, they bake on site, unlike Aldi.The meat selection is very very slim. Not much to choose from.There is a good variety of cheese.Good beer and wine selection.Good bulk dry goods section.Overall good value.

Love this store! The staff are friendly and will answer any questions you may have as well as help you find items on your list within the Lidl App. The stores’ layout is perfect. It is well stocked and organized. The prices are amazing! If you download the App, it will guide you throughout the items you choose to purchase on your list so you may budget your monies and save a lot of money! My mother and I this past month have saved over $150.00 in groceries at shopping in this Lidl Store! Canned food, such as green beans, corn are only .35 each and I purchased large size eggs less than .75 a dozen! Unbelievable. This store Rocks...not only is the store clean, free of clutter. It provides solid, knowledgeable staff who smile, attentive to your needs, and will greet you at the register not only with a smile, but will ask did you find everything you need today... This is My Kind Of Store! I highly recommend visiting THIS Sides Branch Store, as I’ve recently visited the Lidl store off Fairlawn and wasn’t pleased for various reasons.Go make sure you visit and check out the pricing at the Lidl off Sides Branch where they treat you with respect and leaving you happy that you came in their Lidl Store.

This is a lovely place to shop. The place is clean, the employees are friendly. The prices and the quality of food and non-food items are good. They baked goods are yummy and VERY reasonably prices. The only negative is that they dont always stock enough of the sale items. I have gotten some really great deals at Lidl. I guess them running out of stuff attests to the type of sales that they have. I have only had to return a non-food item once and the return was very easy and smooth. I cant use non-Lidl coupons here, but I save a bunch here. Recently, I havent been seeing a lot of food items in the coupons anyway. Do I do all my shopping here? No. They dont carry everything I need. The store is similar to Aldis but I like the shopping environment here much more. I recommend that you visit this Lidl store.

Lidl has great produce and a wide selection of healthy food. Their fresh baked goods are excellent and well. They have great prices. This store is so much cheaper than bigger chain grocery stores but this doesnt affect the quality of their products. We love lidl.

I really like this super market. Its very new and pretty. They have a good amount of products and isles. Its big and it feels cold looking. Its well kept and has a good deli. This is my dads favorite place to buy bread and bakery products. Good place.

Overall best grocery store in town! I like that they have a big egg selection and often have a deal on high quality eggs period very easy to buy healthy stuff here and usually check out is pretty quick.

From lawn mower and compressors to socks and candy. Here this week and gone the next.Hey Dad! You can buy those black socks to go with your sandals that youll wear while mowing.

I like Lidl, theyre like an upscale Aldi. Great prices on meat, fish and milk. Im sure other stuff too. Good crescents too. FYI they will require you to mask up. Im not a huge mask wearer, but I dont mind wearing one. But they will definitely let you know if you dont have one lol.

Absolutely the best, I can find virtually everything I need here, and at better costs. They even have lots of meat substitute options which I love!

This store in amazing! They have such great products for a fraction of the price at another grocery store. Its really nice and clean and the staff is really helpful.

You walk in and are greeted with such delicious smells. Then you realize that everything is healthy, clean and has no artificial chemicals and preservatives. THEN you realize that the prices are so low that you cant help but spend an hour just looking at all the variety and different flavors of everything. The staff is very helpful and the feeling I get from being there is one of warmth and friendliness. Bring your own bags, or buy theirs, up to you. But it is definitely an enjoyable, different type of grocery store experience

My regular big chain store was out of most of the fresh fruit and veggies that I wanted. Lidl had everything that they didnt have and the prices were great.

This is probably my new favorite store! Fresh bakery pretzels for $.59 each? Organic choices? Amazing (even if a bit small) produce section. Watermelon Basil soda was surprisingly great!! Sesame Honey Bars from Greece will take you to a better place. All and All I will shop here religiously for now on!

Good parking. Clean restroom. Wide clear aisles. Decent prices. Problem is I wish they had at least one associate who could help customers and or guide them towards a specific product or sale item. I had to chase down a cashier who was restocking items left at registers. She did help but found out they never received the sale item. She apologized & I told her it wasnt her fault. Unless you are a regular its frustrating ! The person I asked about location of restroom was putting up stock & he seemed to be bothered. Gave a short answer. No greeting . No smile.He looked like a supervisor! Cashiers courteous & friendly. Thanks.

It is a nice store, well kept, friendly people. I was disappointed as I had my grandson and he so enjoys pushing the little shopper buggy, but there werent any, not sure why they were all gone??? Also several items I was looking for they didnt seem to carry so I now have to go elsewhere, so was a bit unsatisfied with their selection. For example sun dried tomatoes and either almond or coconut flour to name a few.

I like this place. I take advantage of weekly specials & lower pricing . This store is not meant for everyone . Selection is limited. No help on floor . You have to find someone stocking up to get ur question answered. Cashiers are always helpful & courteous. Good deals on small household & kitchen goods on a rotating basis...also fair pricing & good assortment. Bring ur own shopping bag or pick up empty boxes which you will find easily. Pleasant change from shopping at big box stores. I love Lidl!

The bakery is excellent! Fresh flaky croissants. The apple turnover is wonderful as well. Good prices, not a wide selection of vegetables but great place for fruit, cheeses, dairy, n wine. They also have other household items, i bought a pair of sneakers there for $20 that are actually very comfortable. Bring your own bags though, they charge for bags.

I have to admit, I love Lidls, and this one is much like the others, very clean and well organized with nice wide isles. They dont have a huge variety (how many brands of green beans do you really need?) but they have some great specials and unusual items you wont find somewhere else. I doubt I could do all my shopping here, but I always shop here first.

Never find anything I need, at a great price. Ill go to Aldis where I can shop and rely on quality and great prices consistently.

I buy specials they advertise. Today an electric lawn mower I can handle that does have up be pull cranked. Too old to pull on that thing. I pick up milk eggs and today breakfast sausage. I typically find prices to be a little higher on meats and small cuts of meat. I have two teenage grandsons living with my husband and myself. We need larger cuts of meat. It is always clean. Fruits and vegetables look beautiful. Overall nice place to shop!

Great prices on quality foods. Enormous selection of items. The store was clean and organized. Friendly helpful grocery clerks. They also had a small selection of tools, throw blankets, storage closets, t-shirts, sport wear and more. Lots of different types of cheese, bread, wine and beer. Their fresh donuts are really really good. This is one of the best grocery stores Ive ever been to. Check out was quick. You have to bring your own bags. If you want to save money on your groceries, this is the place!!

Good. Would be great if they knew how to order the store and werent out of stock on every single sale item. Been three times to get specific sale items and EVERY SINGLE TIME they are out of stock. I went Saturday for a 2 day sale (Saturday and Sunday) and they were already out of everything and said they wouldnt be able to get anymore. I mean they are really nice but they cant order for sales.

I am SO excited we have Lidl in Winston now. AND we have 2!!! Great prices and an amazing selection. This is the only grocery store I go to now. Bring your own bags, but you can buy some there. You do not need a quarter to use the carts. The Lidl Surprises section changes every week and has deals I cant believe. Leading up to Christmas I bought all my kids gifts there and saved SO much!

Fabulous grocery store! Huge selection of produce! The self-serve bakery is really nice, especially when the customers remember to use the paper provided to get their items from the display booths. The prices here are unbelievable! Lower than any other grocery store Ive shopped in. They have plenty of name brand items that are half the price of Harris-Teeter. They also offer many knock off brands that are just as good as the name brands.

Great bakery. The cookies are very delicious, not to mention super affordable. .50 cents for a cookie as big as my entire hand! Selection is fair, it isnt as big as a bigger grocery store (Food Lion, Lowes Foods, etc) but the prices are great. I usually spend $45 at Food Lion, and when I buy the same items here, its about $25.

While Lidl is not a full blown grocery store with complete meat or produce departments, they do have amazing prices on basic grocery needs. And their bakery items are amazing. But take your own bags, or plan to buy some (or collect empty boxes thru the store to carry your food out).

Very interesting store. Lots of very different things. Some prices are great and some are just ok. The turkey bacon made from thighs is amazing! Store was a bit messy tonight but staff was cleaning when I was there.

The smell of the bread hits when you walk in the door. It makes me want the bread, it smells so good. I really like shopping here, it has wide isles, and the associates are helpful. My grandson had to have a donut and his own cart to push around.
