First time trying a chai tea and it was amazing, food was fresh and customer was very friendly. A very inviting and great atmosphere for going solo or socializing. Quiet study is better when they open but I recommend and will come back!!

Oh it’s awesome!! You can go to meet up with friends and get a small snack/drink or you pull an 8 hour study session like me! There’s a loungy couch, two person tables, bar stools seating, and a massive table for group projects/friend groups. It’s a great cafe, the food/drink is great, and staff is lovely, it’s good!

Though, it has been made news, that the profits from Axum go to help out needy children and the people of an area in Ethiopia that shares the same name as the Coffee shop itself. Perhaps that may be an extra added incentive to boost your motivation for digging a little deeper for that hot cup of anything but normal, Joe.The staff at Axum have always been warm and friendly, as well the shop has that certain something familiar flare which is both inviting and peaceful and encourages a little escape from the otherwise anything but normal hectic day in your life.

Excellent coffee!! I got the espresso mocha with whipped cream - not to bold, not too sweet, just perfect mixture of contents. I also got the Asiago bagel with cream cheese - the bagel was fresh, soft, and tasty. The chocolate cake was also delicious!! It is enough for two people to share, unless you love sweets then it is also perfect for one person. The interior and exterior of this location was clean and tidy. The workers were so kind and friendly. The location wasn’t crowded at all, but that could be the timeframe and day that I went here, which was 4pm to 6:30pm. The interior is quiet enough for someone to come do work or even home work. It’s the perfect location for a lunch date or just a relaxing vibe. There’s a great selection of furniture to sit on. For instance, there’s sofas, couches, wooden chairs, and aluminum chairs outside. Great location for great coffee!

Axum Coffee is such a cute tidy local coffee shop that I highly recommend. It can get very busy at times but overall its cute and chill. Tall windows allow natural light in and the seating/decor is very inviting and comfortable. If youre in the area drop by and check it out. Coffee is great especially their chi tea latte!

What to say about Axum Coffee?What a great coffee shop and breath of fresh air. It works like many coffee shops you visit but it feels great to get that big store product delivered in a mom-and-pop kind of way.We just had a simple latte but quality was great. Good coffee and atmosphere. It is ALWAYS busy here. Lots of young adults working on their laptops. On a busy farmers market Saturday morning we waited 25+ minutes for lattes.

A great spot for coffee that hosts local musicians regularly. They also sell a small amount of Winter Garden-branded postcards, mugs and magnets for anyone who would like a momento of this fine City.

AMAZING coffee with great customer service!! I ordered one of their lattes and forgot to ask for it Iced, and while it still tasted great, I prefer iced coffee. When I went back up to the counter to just re-purchase another latte as iced, they said they would just make it for me complimentary. Will definitely be returning to Axum and I highly recommend people living/visiting Orlando to come out to Winter Garden for this coffee shop!

Listen!!! So I’m probably biased because the barista immediately complimented my hair and I’m THAT easy. However, this place is where it’s at if you live in or around Winter Garden and need to get out of quarantine to work or just unwind. The staff is personable, the WiFi is just fine, the drinks are natural/delicious, and the music is (better) covers of real life bops. The atmosphere is respectful and quiet. If you like things that taste like fall candles get the Cinnabee Latte. If you like sweet and savory get the toffee one (I forget what it’s called.) FIVE STARS sis 💁‍♀️💁🏼

I recommend the Raspberry late and the chia puddings, so good. Nice working atmosphere in the beautiful town center.

My first experience at Axum coffee has been a wonderful one. Within 5 seconds of entering I was warmly greeted and shown where to stand in line (since their shop was set up differently for their Star Wars event). I was given advice on my order when I asked, and without asking, I was offered a free refill of my water. All the workers were very friendly, the brick building is beautiful, and the boba coffee was so yummy! Definitely see why this is a popular winter garden spot! Wish I lived in the area so I could come all the time :)

Had a meeting here tonight enjoyed the atmosphere, their tea, and cookies were so delicious but the true winner was the slice of apple pie! Oh my freakin g*d it so so so good!We will absolutely be back!

Went here for the first time today and loved it! I enjoyed the Creme Brulee latte and my husband spoke highly of his drip coffee. The whole grain croissant and chocolate muffins we had were delicious as well. The atmosphere (music, decor) is quite nice to get work done in.

The best coffee shop in Central Florida by far with genuinely friendly, responsive workers, nice atmosphere and long lines - so get there before everyone else! They also do capitalism the right way with much of their profit going to humanitarian causes in Africa. Great place to spend your money...

Best coffee shop in the greater z Orlando area. My wife and I have been coming to Axum coffee for years. It was our weekend spot to hang out and compete homework together. After moving to Charlotte we never found anything similar to it and the quality you get from them. Its nice to see after several years nothing much has changed. They still provide great service even with Covid-19 restrictions.

An outstanding caramel latte with skim milk and an extra shot made our morning the other day. Kind and engaging staff, nice atmosphere inside as well as plenty off outdoor tables right in the heart of Winter Garden.

Its called NY Bagels and Deli. The coffee was good I ordered a toasted bagel and cream cheese after waiting almost 10 mins I got a cold bagel with cream cheese.. the bagel was hard and dry nothing close, well it was round with a hole but that was as close as it got to NY Bagels wont be going back except for coffee maybe..

My wife loves their charcoal coffee. We recently discovered the beautiful story behind this place. Theres nice details to it, idk if I can share, but lets just say the proceeds go towards helping under-developed areas of Ethiopia. Basically youre not just buying, you are investing in others well being, so you feel good about contributing there. No wonder theyre so blessed and there is never a day/time weve gone that theres a nice amount of people enjoying their time there.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Winter Garden. It truly has the best atmosphere: lots of light, various sitting spots, great table space for working, great coffee variety. Lunch items include quiche type things and sandwiches which are not super varied, but come for the coffee and pastries more than the eats. ☕️

Have been getting my coffee from Axum, located in beautiful Downtown Winter Garden, for over a decade. Love Dancing Goat. Yes, there are other places to get coffee, but Axum does everything right.

This shop has much to choose from. I have never ordered anything that was not delicious, especially their keto baked goods. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the cafe is clean and peaceful.

Some excellent menu choices. Cant go wrong here. Apple pie yes!

Ive been coming here on and off since they opened in the late aughts. I cant speak to a bulk of their menu, but Ive never gone wrong with ordering a black iced coffee.

Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops in the Orlando area. The whole vibe gives a sense of entrepreneurial, creative, and artistic spirits gathering in one space as a community for growth. The vegan cookies are also delicious. The only downfall is the popularity causes a lack of seating at times (maybe an honor system of table to the next waiting customer?).

My favorite drink is the chai late, recommend and any expresso. My daughters loves the macarone ( it’s like a white chocolate or s’mores flavor, I’m not really sure).Price are $$Nice atmosphere and staff.

Always love Axum. Super nice people and great coffee. Their commitment to bettering the world remains steadfast and for that they will continue to earn my business.Keep in mind that due to popularity they can get VERY busy. Especially on the weekends during the farmers market. My recommendation is to go either early on the weekend (7-8am-ish) or during the week. Enjoy the environment and the delicious coffee.

I tried the coconut pie coffee; delicious! It was a cup of comfort, beautifully made and reasonably priced. Axum is a cozy little coffee shop which is what I love about it.

I love Axum Coffee. The staff here are super friendly, and the place is a cool side-traffic area for downtown Winter Garden. To my knowledge the proceeds go to a small village in Axum, Ethiopia. I could pay for a good coffee that goes to a great cause. The space is a good place to people watch, and the taste is really good too. 🙂

I will always give this place 5 stars because they are the only place for miles that actually serves freshly roasted coffee; however, the pseudo-literati who congregate disgust me more than Folgers, which is not the best part of waking up. If I ever wake up to the smell of Folgers in my cup, I will know that my life was not well-lived and that I am in Hell.

They sell their beans too so you can get freshly roasted coffee rather than weeks or months old stale beans from the supermarket, yet nearly the same price. Half the other local coffee shops in the area actually buy their beans from Axum, if that tells you anything.Be sure to check ONLINE for their seasonal flavors or ask in store. Sadly theyre not posted inside for some weird reason.In addition to coffee, their butter crumb cake is to die for.

I dont see anyone wiping down tables after each use)What?I usually go for the lattes. Recently it has been the Coffee Grog, IT IS SO GOOD! This is a house blend syrup with oat milk. The only think I dont like about their drinks is that it is never hot enough... The barista said that Oatmilk will start to get clumpy if it gets too hot... Ive also tried their cold brew and I think it is eh.. There is a small amount of sandwiches or baked goods available to have with the drink. So, first time here a few days ago. Ordered a medium mocha. My first sip was like “wow” they got it right the first time. This does not happen like this often and I was presently surprised by the smooth silky taste. I definitely support local business and coffee houses.Why three stars cause the mocha was spot on. Well, see there is this thing called customer service. They came up on the short end on this. I tried to make small talk with the barista, but she was wasn’t having it. This was from the register to the wait.Now, since this was my first time going. I will revisit to see if maybe this was an off day. Once, I do and if I see the service level of GOOD customer service is there. I will most certainly revisit this post. I’m not new at this and I have an opinion, but will reserve it until after my second visit. Stay tuned folks.Update: adding a star for improved customer service. The one barista who gives me the “stink eye” is still their, but I no longer interact with her. The one who takes my order is a pleasure!

They offer many different types of coffee/tea drinks. Many flavors available. I can’t stress enough how friendly and helpful the employees were! They actually serve you with real cups and plates, not disposable unless you want to take it to go. Awesome Place, Awesome Coffee.

This place is very cute! The drinks are yummy and they have a nice selection of pastries. Downtown winter garden is a beautiful and adorable little area too. The cafe itself is a little small so you might have a hard time finding seating but the staff is so so sweet and so kind with any questions or needs that you have.

I come to Axum to have a space to work on my computer away from home. The last 3 times (and right now - I used my phones hotspot to post this), the wifi has been down. Never been to a coffee shop that has so many wifi issues!

We had the fall Cold Brew and it was fantastic! Little busy (which is great for them!) so hard to social distance in this environment, but it was very clean And they had spacing markers on the floor and sanitizer available everywhere.
