Stopped by on our way to a cruise. Normally I do not get snacks from a place that doesnt serve food(full meals) but I got the Asiago bagel and omg!!!!! Why was that thing so good!?!?!? It wasn’t your plain hard type o bagel. Nay nay! Lol the coffee is great as well but Im definitely hyping up that bagel lol.No pics because I devoured it.
Love it. If it wasnt for dining advantage I would have never heard of this place but I am so glad I did. I Had their honey lavender coffee on the first visit and my hubs liked it and thought about how good it was on a random day so we came back. I then ordered the caramel apple chai and it made me feel like I was drinking a holiday *it is very sweet* so I can drink slowly. I dont live too close but I am willing to come this way.
Love the coffee here and havent had a bad cup yet. I like their concept and community approach however this is not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet spot to work. There is a daycare attached that empties into the cafe and many kids are running through the dining space and playing loudly. Personally, I cant focus in a cafe like that and it is not a good fit for me and I thought Id share that so others are aware. That being said, this is a good fit for families.
What a great concept! You can contribute whatever amount you want for your coffee and pastry and proceed go to charity. Great open space, extremely kids friendly. A big enclosed outdoor space that kids can roam around, while the adult and sit back and relax with a cup of coffee. We love this place and highly recommended to all parents with little ones. Cant wait to bring our little ones back here again
This a great little secret within the church property. They have a large lobby with couches or tables and chairs. All the coffee (every flavor you can imagine) and pastries, and loaves of bread are donation based. There is “suggested pricing” but you pay only what you want. All profits (above cost of running the place and materials) are donated to local places like women’s shelters and homeless shelters. The girls working there were very knowledgeable about the business practices as well as a great barista. They can do iced or warm and they steam the milk, they have soy, oat, dairy milk. We also got a cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin. They have a large outdoor patio that’s fenced for kids. However the ground is concrete. They have free WiFi as well.
What a terrific place. Ordered a coffee on the terms of pay what you believe it is worth. The place is comfy, spacious, and the music was on point, plus at a perfect volume. The whole strip ended up with a power outage due to a vehicle crash with a power pole. I witnessed a large number of people that worked there scramble to ensure everyone was taken care of and devise a game plan. I will surely be back. Great place for bigger meetups. The only recommendation would be some newer chairs for more upright seating, but thats just coming from a picky trainer.
The space is a large open space. It is in the middle of a very forlorn strip mall. We are just passing through, taking in Winter Garden, Mount Dora and Clermont. The two people running the shop were very nice and professional. We tried the decaf and regular drip coffee. Better than diner coffee but not really 5* either. We also shared a banana muffin. Very yummy and unusual. The donation thing is a little hard to understand, but it is a novel concept. Intentions are good, I’m sure.I appreciate that they are operating in a neighborhood with few options for good caffeine!
This place is awesome for families! Good coffee, tea, and other drinks, as well as snacks and bakery items. The space is very large with childrens toys, and has an outdoor area for the kids as well. This venue is actually the lobby of a large Christian group that gathers on Sundays but they arent really pushy about it (except the big sign out front).
The most amazing cappuccino! Great atmosphere.
Love bringing the kiddos. Great staff, very welcoming.
This place is great! Is has a very peaceful atmosphere and the staff is super friendly! Not to mention they really strive to make the coffee just as you would like it! It’s a pretty cool place. I definitely plan to come back :)
I just love the open air atmosphere. Welcoming to all ages. The coffee options are fresh, even fancy with some candy style choices but you can always opt for a regular cup of coffee. This is a hidden gem that offers plenty of parking, seating, a childrens area. 2 doors down from GUSA for an afternoon pick me up.
Fantastic espresso. Well balanced and bright. Cool atmosphere and really chill. Great place for families and little ones as well.
I felt super poor. Jayne and Avery made me feel super uncomfortable. I ordered 3 pastries, and two smoothies. I asked if it was donation based since I have been here before and it clearly said donation based on top of the counter. They said under their breaths for all that! I ignored it but after that not only did they leave the smoothies without letting meKnow on the counter to melt, she told me “I spoke to my manager and we are no longer donation based” and than went ahead and took a picture of us! When I saw the younger helper take a pictureOf us and commenting with the older lady starring at the picture. I stood up and just left everything. Felt horrible like i was a piece of trash. The total was $21. I donated $15 that was all i had in my wallet. People go here when in need since it is a “church based.” I use to love this place but felt super bad and sad.
Anybody who knows me knows that I absolutely love coffee! This was quite possibly the best coffee Ive ever had! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome! If youre looking for a quick coffee solution in the morning, skip the large chains and make your way over here!
Love this place! Very chill, plenty of seating, and if you got a little kid, you just got yourself a decent break. I also love that it’s a charity-based cafe so your money goes towards something good. :)
Came to the break room to do some homework and get some coffee, I didn’t want to go through all the hassle of sbux. Katie & Janey were so awesome offered some of the best service, DEFINITELY COMING BACK!!!:)))
Was going in for a mocha frappe but the barista suggested I try the Java chip and if I didnt like it then he would make me a mocha and I must say the Java chip is delicious with caffeine and whip cream th e little chocolate chips go well with the ice pieces as a nice suttle crunch
This is my 3rd time here and I love the atmosphere. The coffee is great and the pastries are yummy. Best part is I can relax with a cup of coffee while my kids play. Highly recommend.
Just went to the break room coffee and couldn’t believe the service!! I had the nicest barista, i’m not used to drinking coffee and he took the time to explain what was inside each one. I believe their names were Vincent and Leane. Definetely want to go back.
A little hard to find, but was so glad I did. Great coffee shop to take the kids. I went with a friend, let my toddler play in the enclosed play yard and had a great time.
I loveeeee this place it is so comfy and homey The cofee is delicious and they have alternative milks at least vegan coffee is available.
Customer service was amazing!!! Also I love that there are fresh bread brought in everyday and the amazing tea options. Its the perfect cafe for meetings and studying.
What a great coffee shop! It has donation based pricing including suggested donations and profits that go to supporting the community. I definitely recommend the Asiago Bagel. The room is a very warm and inviting atmosphere!
Always a favorite for coffee with the kids. Big space, great drinks (truly unique), and great people.
The BreakRoom is a great place for a tasty cup of joe and a relaxing work environment. I highly recommend it as a go-to for local professionals.
This is a very cute little coffee shop with area to sit and get on Wi-Fi also has a patio it is just amazing I will be going back
Friendly good service
Great place. Nice lounging area with a relaxed feel to it. The lady who runs the place us very nice
Great place with very spacious seating and extremely reasonable prices. Needs a big sign as hard to spot from the car.
Great coffee good facility. Does not play Christian music anymore.
Best breakfast I have had in a long time. It is a little crowded with all the regulars there, but that is what gives it that small home town, country flare.I asked for hasbrowns, extra crispy...and after years of asking, I finally got them, cooked perfectly...extra crispy. If i had to say one negative thing.....the sausage was cooked a little too much.
Stop in and say hi to Julie and enjoy a great and peaceful afternoon! What a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere! Dont forget to try the bread!
Highly recommend! The chocolate-covered-strawberry iced lattes are awesome, as well as the frappes and other flavored lattes. It is worth the drive & the wait instead of going to Dunkin Donuts or other chains. Prices are donation based, but if you are able, always pay the suggested amount, lets keep this place open!!! The bathroom is kid-friendly (especially for potty-training toddlers---thank you!!!!!) and it is very clean, yay! Lots of indoor space for working, studying, visiting with friends, relaxing etc., and there is an indoor kid-area too. The outdoor play area is perfect for the kids as well, part is covered and the toy area is partial covered and the remaining uncovered. The toys in the outdoor play area are a bit older (likely because the toys are donated, so I recommend donating your gently used outdoor toys for their play area to keep the area enjoyable), then again, our son still has fun regardless!!!
Beautiful interior, pay what you want coffee bevarages. Clean and quiet!
Hidden gem with good variety of drinks at a reasonable price
Nice environment to chill and enjoy a good coffee. Wish we had a place like this back home.
Been to several events here. Very nice.
Love the atmosphere, the coffee, the muffins and the staff is wonderful 👍🏼
I’m impressed with Brandon’s work. Great haircut!
Great atmosphere, coffee and home made pastries from the local bread company.
Great little coffee shop!
Great spot for meeting clients.
Quite surprised you would treat our business group so poorly....
Delicious, great service and concept
Love this place..
Today I got to know this place and he told you that it is FABULOUS. It is ideal to enjoy a good coffee with young children since there are spaces inside and outside to entertain them. Purchases are on a donation basis. It is worth spending a while. Im not giving it 5 stars because it was a bit dusty outside. But they must go.
