While buying a mattress can be like buying a car (a salesman pounces on you and you feel like you have to haggle), our experience here was much different. We were given good information and personalized service. Ultimately we purchased a great bed and received delivery the next day. The one thing that could be better would have been to receive a delivery window, but we were given a call ahead of time and the delivery was quick and courteous.

Mattress1 is awesome. Robert let me lay on 10 different mattresses for 10-20 minutes each and was super patient with me as I chose the best mattress. He was very knowledgeable and was able to offer pros and cons for all the mattresses for which I was interested. Thank you for helping me pick out the best mattress for my sleeping style and weight!

I have never written a negative review until now. Stay away. Horrible customer service! The manager was rude and argumentative with me when I attempted to return a metal bed frame that was not as it was represented when I purchased it in the box a few days ago.He insisted that they have a no return policy, but that policy is not posted anywhere in the store. If it was, I would not have shopped there. He watched while I carried the heavy box back out crying, since he refused to take it back, sitting at his desk saying have a nice day.There are plenty of other mattress stores in the area who understand customer service and basic kindness.

Bought my bed from Jose at the winter garden store on Daniels road. Jose was a true professional and got me on the temper pedi mattress ranked #1 by JD Powers. He also got me on the adjustable base with massage. It was a five star experience all the way around! Highly recommend him and his staff!!

Robert did a great job. He took his time and answered all my questions. He performed a sleep test to help fit me to the best mattress within my budget.Delivery was set for Saturday and no one even called to say they werent going to be delivering it. Then on Monday the called and said they would be there within 30 minutes. Very unprofessional and inconsidsrate of a persons time.

I wished we had checked the Yelp reviews for this store before purchasing our mattress. Robert promised our bed to be delivered on Monday. When we didnt get a call, we called Robert and the customer service number and we were told that the mattress was out of stock. Then the 2nd delivery date is to be today and its after 7pm and we still havent received our mattress. We actually went to the store to talk to Robert and at this point I dont believe anything he says (especially after reading the Yelp reviews). We were also promised 4 pillows and a mattress guard. Will post an update - if and when we receive the mattress and the bed.Update - we are cancelling order because we cant get an answer from the delivery service! DONT EVER COME HERE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT A MATTRESS! They are liars and will keep telling stories. Don’t waste your time!

We purchased a temperpedic mattress on 29 July with delivery scheduled for 13 August. When 13 August came, we waited for 7 hours for delivery. We called twice and were told that the mattress was out for delivery and would be delivered no later than 4 pm. At 3 pm, I called a third time and was told that the mattress was out of stock and couldnt be delivered until 20 August. When I went into the store to cancel my order, Mitchell took his time to complete a refund request form using a word document. He then took my original receipt and said I could not have it back. He also said that the refund would take 14 days since they couldnt do it at the store. As my spouse and I were leaving, he yelled hope you enjoy paying $500 more for a mattress somewhere else. I wish I had customers like you who were willing to pay more. We immediately called our credit card company and disputed the charge. Thank goodness for great customer service from the credit card company. We recommend staying away from Mattress one. Mitchell was rude, and lied about our delivery. The customer service was nonexistent.

Came in for the Labor Day Sale and got great service. Spent an hour jumping on beds on selected a new Sealy hybrid!!! I am going to be sleeping like Tom Brady in about five days...everyone at the store was awesome!!! Would highly recommend!!!!

The experience at the store was pleasant but everything after that was horrible! I ordered a bed frame for pick up . I picked it up myself got it home and put it together just to find that they had sent the wrong one. Went back to the store. They said they would deliver me the correct one. That has been a month ago. I have went back to the store twice to have the request for the delivery submitted again. Each time there was no explanation on why the delivery was not completed and each time I was promised it would happen the next time. I am now currently waiting for the third time with no delivery as of yet. It is 7:15 pm and the delivery driver still has not given a courtesy call. I have called three time with the answer that it is on the truck. In my opinion any company who can not give you a window of delivery time, is not worth my business. Another day wasted waiting for them. Still am not 100% sure if it is being delivered today. Can’t wait for the next line of excuses. I won’t shop here again.

The sales experience at Mattress One was really great. Robert took the time to ensure we had a mattress that was the right fit for me and my wife. Unfortunately the service ended when the sale ended. My wife and I were promised a delivery by a specific date. We waited the entire day and nobody showed up. We did not even get as much as a courtesy call to say nobody was coming. We were jerked around for days about when the mattress would be delivered.When it actually came time for delivery, there were items missing. The delivery guy dislocated a shoulder, which required a 911 phone call.When the EMT showed up, they needed a morphine drip just to move the guy. When the IV pulled out of the gentlemans arm, the guy bled all over my property which required a professional to clean and sanitize the area. There was no offer from the delivery company or Mattress One to clean up the hazmat mess.It has been almost three weeks since the sale and we are still missing pillows. Over the last three weeks weve received a lot of smoke in mirrors and broken promises. If I had to leave a recommendation today, I would tell you as a buyer to take your business somewhere else. This isnt the only place that sells mattresses.

Im very frustrated with my ongoing experience with this retailer. Mattress was promised for delivery on 12/5. Salesman was completely unable to give a better delivery window than probably between 10 and 5. Received a phone call informing me that I would be the last delivery because the driver forgot my box springs, but would definitely be before 5. Nearly impossible to get ahold of the store for updates. At 7pm when I arrived at the store to ask where my delivery was, the only employee there had no answers. Could not reach the driver. Received multiple calls from other irate customers asking the same questions. Employee was unable to reach anyone with answers. Was unable to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. Unable to connect me with anyone else within the company. Unprepared. Didnt even work at this location.If this profile is monitored by anyone in this company who can be any help at all, Id like to know where my $2,000+ mattress is.

We walked in the store (the only ones in the store) and Robert the salesman was sitting at the desk. He greeted us and we told him we have been looking around. From the reviews maybe he was having a having a bad day? But anyways he was short with us and told us we would find with our budget and the brand I preferred was awful and basically shut us down. With that we walked out and went to rooms to go and spent the amount of money over our budget due to the experience. With coming from a sales background you don’t make a person feel they are being attacked to get them to spend money.

Of course the sales part is so happy go lucky we dont take commission which I already knew was an absolute lie! Everything was great UNTIL we got the mattress and the adjustable base only to learn that it wont fit on our bed frame after being ASSURED 100% that it would and our sales rep Robert said he deals with it all the time. He never asked more details about our frame despite telling him its already high. THEN when we told Robert about the situation of how high the bed was set up he said, Ill come over and fix it myself. Another lie. He never showed because he hurt his knee and then said he couldnt send anyone to help. THEN after dragging this out another week he says theres nothing he can do. He wont take a store credit. He wont take a refund. They put a huge scratch on our custom made bed frame and dont care. Funny because he walks around with a military hat on. I thought men who were in the military were honest, respectful and handled themselves with dignity. He should be ashamed to have that hat on. Absolute scam.STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased a Sealy Kelburn II mattress from Robert at Mattress 1 on Daniels Road. After telling him what type of mattress we liked and were looking for, he took us straight to the Kelburn. We were sold! The other mattress company down the street didnt have the perfect fit even after trying out over 40 beds! This mattress from Mattress 1 is just right.

No star is deserved. Richard the sales person sold us a bed promised delivery. 2 days of non delivery went into store to talk about it and he had his wife in there eating a lolipop. We started to express our frustration and the wife started laughing at us, Richard could have cared less about getting the business he just said.. you want a refund lets do it. then his wife started arguing and laughing at us and our frustration. Richard said. I called the same number for delivery they are not answering me what do you want me to do about it. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Take your money somewhere else where they treat you like a real customer. Who has their wife in there laughing at customers. He then gave us the name of a distric manager that no longers works that! HORRIBLE service, could care less

Worst and most bizarre experience ever! There were no prices, names or specs on any of the beds so we felt completely lost. Whats worse is the store manager was just as clueless as us stating they had rearranged and got new beds on his day off....um ok?! The one mattress we liked we asked about the name, price or any sort of information and he just looked the mattress over and said he didnt know!! At that point we walked out because you would think they would be ready and competent to help potential customers on a mid Saturday afternoon but apparently not.

Needed to buy a new mattress recently, Robert the store manager assisted me and the process was smooth and was pleased with the experience would recommend to anyone!

Don’t believe salespeople here! Promised delivery of bed within 4 days, then called to change to 6 days and CHANGED AGAIN! Was supposed to be delivered today between 9-noon. 3pm & no sign. Lots of excuses & promises, not genuine!Update: The response from the manager questions whether I made a purchase at this store. I did! 10 days after purchase & 6 days after promised delivery, still no mattress & news today is that the mattress is out of stock. What a SCAM! Also, Robert Green is making the refund process difficult, slow, and full of lies. Better Business Bureau, HELP!Another UPDATE: Got through to Customer Service (miracle based on other reviews) who processed refund & sent confirmation email to verify. Still dont see refund on credit card, but Ill be looking. I want this whole experience in my rear view mirror. Shame on you, Robert at Mattress One!

This isnt an emotional review. Im a disabled vet and I really needed this bed.I paid for a Cal King on the 26 of July but it wasnt ordered until 7 August. Alan, the store clerk didnt order it.When I called customer service to ask why is it taking so long. Danisha lied to me and said everything is on track itll be there on 9 August. Ive been trying to call her back but no answer. I then got Monica who told me it was ordered on 7 August and itll take another 2 weeks to deliver.I then went back to the store and theyre watching movies stating I have your paperwork and I was going to give you a call tomorrow. I told him I want to cancel my order and want a refund. Alan processed my paperwork but never said I want get a refund.I called on 9 August to cancel my order but customer service said no cancellation on a special order.Now, Im stuck with a Cal King.

I used to sleep amazing until getting a used mattress two weeks ago. I went into this store last night to feel a couple of mattresses. Alan was there and even though they were about to close he was patient and friendly with me and listened to me about the horrible body pain I was getting from my current mattress. Such bad pain I have needed to take Niquil to sleep, leave work early, and call off of work because my body was destroyed from my mattress. After an absolutely terrible night sleep and needing to call out of work again I came into the store today. Alan and Robert were amazingly patient with me, let me lay on all the beds I was interested in and answered any and all questions I had. I did not feel pressured to purchase any specific bed and felt they were completely honest with which mattresses wouldn’t be the best for me. By the end I decided the best fit for me was the ProAdapt by Tempur-Pedic. They even went above and beyond to try to have the mattress delivered to me as soon as they can so I can finally get quality sleep and have my body begin to heal. I would definitely recommend this store for anyone looking for a mattress! Thank you Alan and Robert. I cannot wait to sleep like an angel again.

The customer service with Mattress One was completely non-existent. We bought a mattress through Mitchell and it was promised to arrive on a Monday (3 days after purchase). When we called on Monday afternoon to find out when the mattress would be delivered it was not until then that we found out it was out of stock. It was due to arrive on Friday, Mitchell said all day Friday that it was on the truck and would be delivered before 8pm. Come to find out when I called their Customer Service at 4PM that Mitchell had lied and it was never on the truck and never back in stock. In short, our mattress did not arrive until 2 weeks after purchase date. Never once have we received a call or follow up from Mitchell since he lied and still have not received a call back from the customer service manager Danielle. We will never be shopping with Mattress 1 of Winter Garden again and suggest you dont either if you expect the items you pay for to arrive.
