I bought a 2021 Hyundai Sonata from Holler Hyundai and this was my second Sonata I bought from them. My first was a 2015 Sport Turbo 2.0 and I have had no problems with that car. My son is driving it now.I went in on Saturday, Sept 4 and told the service guy Terrance that their is a crackling cheap plastic sound in my driver seat every time I lean back. I can hear wires hitting the plastic back of my seat. If I push GENTLY down from the top to the lumbar vertically along the middle of where my back would be, I hear wires hitting plastic.Terrance told me that it was “normal.” I then asked to sit in two other new 2021 Sonatas on their lot to see if the driver seats made the noise that my new 2021 does. Neither of those Sonatas on the lot made any noise. Their seats were totally quiet and padded. This is NOT normal. My car has 5,300 miles on it and I weigh about 118 lbs. When I had another service person (who took me to sit in the other two new Sonatas on the lot) sit in my car and listen to my seat back and she heard the noise and gave me her ext. She said she’d email the Service Manager about my issue and hopefully they can resolve it by opening the seat and putting in some padding to make my seat back quiet. It’s a brand new car and noise in the seat is NOT NORMAL.I am not recommending Holler Hyundai to anyone anymore and will not buy another Hyundai after being a loyal customer and being treated this way. It’s a simple fix and let’s see if they step up to the plate.I feel like I am driving a cheap car every time I sit back in my seat that makes the noises it a BRAND NEW car should not.Don’t buy a new car from here if they aren’t willing to back up their product. I am very disappointed as this is the first brand new car I have ever bought on my own.
My Hyundai Sonata has been serviced here for many years. The service managers never recommended any unnecessary services. Although the speed of their service is somewhat slow, their diagnosis has been accurate and the repair was done well. Their regular maintenance price ranges are reasonable.
9 days ago I had my daughters car towed there for a transmission issue and spoke to a service manager, not mentioning name. Told on Saturday car rental okd for the next couple of days. But wont look at car until Monday. I called Monday no answer called service was told he was off that he will contact me. 2 days later again I called his # got message he will return my call. 2 days again after I called again, he will return my call, next day I called he will return my call. Holding car for ransom, is what Im thinking now. Face to face with dealership owner, or picketing outside service office to get someones attention maybe.
First off. They overcharge. That’s obvious. I heard them try to charge someone $350 for a battery, so I would not have gone here if my battery wasn’t under warranty. Secondly I went with a dead battery and left with a nail in my tire. They refused to admit fault when I went back saying “we don’t use nails here”. I spoke to the manager and he said “i could probably go out front the dealership right now and find 10 nails” as i was leaving. Yeah. Every dealership should just have nails lying around the front lot right? Great service
Outstanding customer service and no other place I would trust. Trust worthy professionals thank you!
